Is quiet today.
The year’s at the spring,
And day’s at the morn;
Morning’s at seven;
The hill-side’s dew-pearled;
The lark’s on the wing;
The snail’s on the thorn;
God’s in His heaven—
All’s right with the world!

hi!

Khasinkonia wrote:Teacher Application:

Name: Elizabeth "Eliza" Victoria Winchester
Age: 232, but looks to be in late 20s to mid 30s
Gender: F
Appearance:
Element: Wind
Subject: Astronomy
Personality: Normally polite and reserved, but never dreary, Elizabeth is amiable, but strict. She is very pleasant towards people who are polite, but is passively aggressive towards people who ignore common courtesies.
Likes: Nighttime, tea, people being polite, people who don't run away when she tells them she's a vampire, The Church of England, Great Britain, and the English language(The original version, of course)
Dislikes: The Vatican, people trying to use objects that supposedly kill vampires, misbehaving children, and music she deems disrespectful
Bio: Born in Ilford in 1784 to a family of Wind Mages, Elizabeth was always thought to be a bit different than the other children. She rarely slept, and never went outside. Her parents recognised this and brought the twelve year old girl to an Earth Mage who was skilled in identifying illnesses magic and otherwise. After a few months of meticulous examination by the Earth Mage, it was determined that she did not suffer from common illness, but instead displayed the traits associated with vampirism.

Naturally, this surprised her parents, who kept the fact quiet until Elizabeth was old enough to to leave the house. Living on her own, she settled into 15-25 year cycle. She'd go find a night shift job, say she was around 20-25, work for the next 15-25 years, and fake her own death. This cycle repeated for many years, until she became integrated into the Magical Society of the United Kingdom in 1882, where she met others like her. She became well versed in the subject of astronomy, and followed it throughout her life. In early 2016, as she neared the end of one of her cycles of facades, she found an opening for an Astronomy teacher at Mana Academy.

Elizabeth researched the academy carefully, noting any magical beings who had been accepted prior. After completing her research, she faked her own death, thus completing her last cycle pretending to be a normal human. She filled out an application and sent it to Mana Academy, and, thought he school year had already started, she sent in her application. Once she was accepted, which took her only a few days to plan out her first lesson, which was scheduled to take place on the nearest possible New Moon. When she reached the school on the eight of September, she found the school preparing to heard to Paris. This would had interfered with her lessons, but she decided the magical tournament was more important than her mere elective, so she pushed back the beginning of her class until the students returned.
Theme:
Normal: I Vow to Thee, My Country
Angry: Voyage of the Damned

Short RP Sample: Look a few pages back in the IC

I've been working on this over the past few days. It came to me in the shower.

Rejected. We're done with vampires.

I think we also have enough teachers, and you already have 4 characters.

Plus, with what lore we have around vampires, she would be a slave to Catherine's will, not an ideal feature for a teacher.

Well, if that's the main reason, the I can probably modify it. I thought there would be some stipulation with the vampire thing, so I tried to keep that fact mostly separate from the bio.

Yeahhhhhh, one vampire is enough, considering she's highly unstable anyway.

Also, she's nowhere to be found at the moment. DUNDUNDUUUUUUUN.

Have her hand Catherine her food and maybe stand around awkwardly, thinking about the situation and what Soleil is trying to teach her. :)

It'll probably be fine in one week.

But the shock of someone running and jumping into you in a football style tends to leave some things like that.

I reworked my new teacher app to exclude mention of vampirism. I changed it to an immortality curse. Is that acceptable?

Also, I swear that if we ever do a second version of MA in the future, Henry will return as a teacher. Because I like the idea.
