Game of Thrones: A Feast for Crows
A Song of Ice and Fire Roleplaying Game

IC

Image

The War of the Five Kings seems to be winding down. Robb Stark, Joffrey Baratheon, Renly Baratheon and Balon Greyjoy are dead. Tommen Baratheon sits the Iron Throne, while his mother watches over him. In the North, King Stannis Baratheon has installed himself at the Wall and vowed to win the support of the northmen to continue his struggle to claim the Iron Throne, although this is complicated by the fact that much of the west coast is under occupation by the ironborn. On the Wall itself Jon Snow has been elected the 998th Lord Commander of the Night's Watch, but has enemies both in the Watch and beyond the Wall, Stannis Baratheon has offered to legitmize Jon and grant him both The North and Winterfell if he pledges his loyality to him in return for helping Stannis gain his Crown. Tyrion has reached Slaver's Bay and is hoping to gain Daenerys' favor. On Slaver's Bay, Daenerys Targaryen has conquered the city of Meereen, and has decided to stay and rule the city, honing her skills of leadership which will be needed when she travels on to Westeros. But Daenerys' presence is now known to many in Westeros, and from the Iron Islands and Dorne, from Oldtown and the Free Cities, emissaries are on their way to find her and use her cause for their own ends.

In the Stormlands The Golden Company has landed and already taken several castles, the man leading them says he is Aegon VI Targaryen, son of Rhaegar Targaryen and Elia Martell thought to have died during the Sack of King's Landing. In the Iron Islands King Euron Greyjoy sits with a massive fleet at his will, ready to invade and pay the iron price. In the Riverlands sits the Blackfish who still holds Riverrun, one of the last fortresses still loyal to the deceased Robb Stark. In the Vale Petyr Baelish now Protector of the Vale watches over and guides Robin Arryn with Sansa Stark disguised as his bastard, "Alayne Stone". The players are set, now who will win the Game of Thrones?

Introduction

Welcome everyone to Game of Thrones: A Feast for Crows, a RP set during the events after the War of the Five Kings.

This will be a character driven RP, with significant factional, political, and military aspects. Can you win the Game of Thrones?

There are a few Rules to follow:
1) The OP and Co-ops are Gods, their word is law.
2) This is a fantasy RP but try and be realistic. Travel time, combat, and politicking are all important, dont go too crazy
3) No god modding, metagaming etc.
4) This is going to be a freeform RP, time will vary between posts.
5) This will be an RP based on character development and progression, do not expect storylines to develop for you, make your own and involve other players. If you are stuck with nothing to do, OP/CO-OP will give your a task or an idea.
6) Keep the Lore restricted to A Song of Ice and Fire material only
7) Have FUN

And now we move on to the character creation stage.
You may make your own house, however, they will be subject to stringent review, and canon houses are preferred. A new house may invent a new castle, but will not be able to take over lands or titles from a canon house. Your application will not be accepted until all fields are filled out.

Thanks everyone for reading, this is my first OP thread but I hope you have the time to drop an APP.
I also wish to apologize, I noticed that my Century of Blood RP wasn't exactly working so I have decided to make a RP set during the show/books.

His body is scarred from his years as a sellsword and caravan guard, most noticeable is his missing left eye, lost in a duel to the man who would eventually become the Marshal of his Shield Scorchers, Weiand Waters. Usually his hair is kept at a reasonable length, but due to his months of tracking Daenarys his hair has grown long and unruly.
Image

Skills: Swordsman/Warrior, Archer, Very Agile/Swift, Speaks common tongue, and the Valyrian dialects of Pentos, Tyrosh, Lys and Myr, Basic understanding of the language of Volantis, literate, some understanding of science, medicine and mathematics

Military Strength: 750 (Daegon's Shield Scorchers), 40 (Pyre Hounds)

Biography: Daegon Blackfire is a descendant of Daemon I Blackfyre through his son, Aenys Blackfyre. Aenys begot Aegon, who begot Daemon (Cousin to Maelys the Monstrous), who begot Daemon, a craven who changed his surname to Darkflame in order to evade the wrath of the Targaryens following the death of Maelys. Daegon is the 5th Cousin of Daenarys I Targaryen and the 5th Cousin, Once Removed of Aegon VI Targaryen

Daegon was raised solely by his father, as his mother had been of weak constitution, and perished when Daegon was barely three. Daegon grew up as a caravan guard working alongside his father. He was not informed of his heritage until his father revealed the truth to him on his death bed when Daegon was 15 years of age. Daegon did not believe his father, who presented him with two necklaces of dragon bone, and four Valyrian steel earrings, all engraved with the three-headed dragon of their ancestral house.

After his father finally passed on, Daegon decided to form a mercenary company with the intent of amassing a force large enough to reclaim the land which was promised to his ancestor along the banks of Blackwater Rush. Along with his close friends, the brothers, Weiand and Wenzel Waters, Daegon created, the Shield Scorchers, a force of mercenary shock troops known for setting their shields alight with a thin layer of Wildfire prior to battle. With the emergence of Daenerys Targaryen as a claimant to the throne of Westeros, Daegon and his company began to track her down in hopes of swearing fealty to her in order to restore the honour of House Blackfyre and more quickly gain his ancestral land on the banks of the Blackwater. Due to his mercenary company being entirely infantry, his tracking of Daenarys has been slowed.

RP Example:Our Ashes & Embers

The Blackfyres, and a supposed Aegon invading the Stormlands with the Golden Company, and Pentoshi backing?

How interesting.

You probably wouldn't have it. The Golden Company currently have it, probably waiting to take the Iron Throne before giving it to Aegon.

Also you're accepted Warg.

What will happen with Daenerys 3 dragons, 500 ships (Slavers, Redwynes and Ironborn) and 200,000 men (Dothraki, Unsullied, Ironborn)?

Dany does not have any outside help. Two dragons are locked up under the pyramid, Drogon is off doing his own thing. She has no Dothraki and no Ironborn (no Westeros help) she has only the Unsullied and the Second Sons.

This does not take place after season 6, it takes place around book 4 and 5 wise. Or seasons 4 and 5 though I'd rather refer to book canon than show canon (like no Sansa in Winterfell unless the Baelish player really wants to do that)

In the canon Meeren is invaded by the slavers, Ironborns appear and a battle stars in which the dragons may appear, Daenerys is captured by the Dothraki somewhere in the book and... well the Tv series who has already surpassed the books and can be counted as canon since Martins is the producer and supervisor. And in his blog he says that most of the characters that are dead in the Tv series will die in the next book too for example:

Stannis the mannist, nearly all the Tyrell, Barristan Selmy, Doran Martell and his son Trystane, the Baratheons, Tommen and many others

Some people say that the TV series is better than the book because they could adapt it well without avoiding important major events like Frey's pies.

Nonetheless the tv show has major weakenesses in the fact several characters have been completely looked over. I for one was dissapointed by the absence of a certain Martell getting burned alive by dragons.

Yep, but he was killed, in a softly way but he is dead at the end just like the books. And the reason of his dead was more rational in the series than in the books (being burned by a dragon for being curious?)

More like being killed for trying to tame one. Many dragonseed learned that the hard way as well. Besides as far as I am concerned the shows butchering of Dorne is all I need to ignore it canonically.

Yes let's avenge House Martell by killing House Martell.
The Sand Snakes and Dorne made no sense and D&D are really getting bad at their writing. I love the show and I'm obsessed with the books but there is no denying the books are better.

If you haven't watched Preston Jacobs Game of Seasons Watch series I reccomend it. He picks out the flaws and shows how the show is really starting to poop on the book series.

Also Martin is no longer involved with the show, he stopped at around the beginning of season 4. Season 5 and Season 6 have been all D&D.

The dialogue started getting even worse once they stopped scavenging from the books. The quality of dialogue from season one compared to season six is astounding.

Darksister was last wielded by Bloodraven so it's probably either north of the wall or near the Wall. While the last wielded of Blackfyre was Maelys. I'm willing to bet that since the Westeros force didn't recover it the Golden Company did. They are probably waiting to give to Aegon to help further his rule (cause some see the sword on the same level as the Crown like what happened with Daemon)

Now
Whether you believe Aegon is a true Targaryen, a Blackfyre or neither it would make sense that either the Golden Company recovered it or Illyrio saw to it.

Arianne Martell neither nor the the Myrish swamp. An Aegon VI is a fake 'cuz the real heir is Jon Snow or better know as Jaehaerys III Targaryen, if he ever discovers his inheritance from Reed.

Martins have already told the creators of the series the end of the books. That stuff has and average of 90% in Rotten tomatoes so is good.

This post made no sense.

Anyway, I'll be either making an app for Aegon or Jon Snow. I haven't decided yet.

They are not martells, they are Sands and Uller. And Doran didn't do nothing about his brother and sister who were both killed by Lannisters and he even allow his son to marry his major enemy. He deserve to die for being inefficient and not ambitious.

In the books Robb Stark marry a Westerling which is quite contradictory since they are bannermen of the Lannisters and they are from low birth (They are descendants from the newly House Spicer of Castemere).

Is rumored in the fandom that Jon Snow real name is Jaehaerys III Targaryen but the only ones that know that are Howland Reed and Eddard Stark who survived the fight against the Sword of the morning in the tower of Joy. Since Robert hated all the Targaryens, Ned changed the kid's name to Jon Snow and adopted him as a bastard.

I know R+L=J but that's only a theory in the books. Some believe R+L=D and some believe B+A=J. It's just up to you to decide.

Also I know the Sand Snakes aren't Martells they're bastards. But they're loyal to House Martell or are suppose to be. If you've read the books you'd know that there are more Sand Snakes and they are differently talented (a maester, a septa, etc.). You brought another fault of the show, in the books it's obvious that Doran is planning something (look up the Dornish Master Plan) while in the show they just were all like, "Well nobody likes Dorne. What should we do?" "Just kill everyone off and try to forget it happened."

They could of totally made Doran a major player in the Game like he is in the book but no they got a great actor and ruined it.

ANYWAY, enough arguments. If you want to continue this, TG me. I don't want this clogging the thread.
