I will note---just to be clear, and just because this is never going to be a thing---you cannot, ever, ever, dodge bullets. You could argue if these guns are accurate, but you will not see a bullet coming, nor could you slice through it. I get he is probably making a joke... but I want to sweep away even the slightest idea that it is possible. Keep that in mind, "to an extent," means acting like he could, but is definitely lying.

That was meant as joke, since I'm going to later reveal that he was killed by a bullet.
Dodging bullets is indeed impossible. They travel faster than light, a speed humans are incapable of moving at.
Slcing bullets puts me in mind of Fruit Ninja.
