Character Bio: Some people are just naturally lucky.

Others... well, they really aren't. Amelia definitely is on the 'not' side of the luck spectrum, and has been since the day she died. How did she die, you might ask? Well... she and her loving family were on a picnic one sunny summer day. (They liked picnics very much.) Also attending was her best friend Holly, who noticed some flowers that she thought were quite pretty.

Allow me to note that this picnic was on top of a cliff that had a lovely view, and the flowers were sprouting from an outcropping just below the edge.

Amelia decided to pick the flowers for Holly, but things came to their rather predictable conclusion. Her parents warned her to get away from the edge, but she didn't listen, and when reaching over to get the flowers... she slipped and fell.

The end.

Personality: The most unlucky girl in the history of Purgatory, Amelia dances through life with innocent grins and happy thoughts. She's been trying to learn thievery under Crystal's tutelage, but is failing miserably, because she has terrible luck and just can't complete anything properly. It's a wonder how she stays sane.

How much do you Remember?: She remembers falling, clutching a bundle of flowers to her chest. She remembers Holly's face--Crystal reminds her of Holly to a great extent--and nothing else.

Character Bio:
Arman was born and grew up in Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia. He was fortunate enough to be born into a middle class family which saved him from poverty which affected a saddening percentage of his nation's people. His childhood though, clearly wasn't ideal. Arman always knew he was different but could never figure out why. In fact he was gay, but hadn't yet realised this.

Unfortunately the boy soon discovered what was "wrong" with him aged fifteen. Suddenly scared, worried and frustrated he prayed and hoped for months that the feelings he kept having would go away. They didn't. Following six months of internal agony, Arman anxiously told his friend, an Israeli girl (who was on exchange at his school) about his sexuality. She accepted it without question and a few weeks after her return to Tel Aviv she invited now sixteen year old Arman to come and stay with her and her family in Israel for the summer. With his parents ok with that, he jumped at the opportunity.

It was here Arman became extremely confident with himself as Tel Aviv's open and tolerant atmosphere enabled him to feel happy and be himself at last. After the most enjoyable summer of his life he had to go home to his family and school in Armenia. With a new found confidence he stopped with the false attitude he'd developed before and while not being openly gay for self preservation he didn't make the desperate efforts to hide it like he had done prior to Tel Aviv.

Flash forward to his final year of high school he had travelled back to Israel twice and now it was time to face what he was dreading. Conscription, and with it, authority and strict rules to follow. Unable to avoid it he quickly yet frustratedly completed his long period military service, mostly hassle free as he chose to stay in the closet, fearing what would happen should he even slightly open the doors to his generals. Despite this, his time in the army was very much packed with all sorts of exciting encounter with other recruits, many of whom it seemed were just as willing as he was! (which may be why he chose to stay there longer, despite his hatred for authority)

It's here that Arman's story twists into a heartbreaking one. With his military service now over, he knew exactly what he wanted to do. Go back to Tel Aviv and the country he loved so dearly, the place that had made him so welcome and accepted. This time for good. So he did, and it wasn't even two weeks after arriving back in Israel that the shooting happened. It was a quiet ordinary morning at his favourite café about 11:20 when armed Hamas supporters came out of nowhere...and opened fire.

Personality: Arman could be described as friendly and outgoing. For him being the centre of attention is often a good thing. He is bright, energetic and sociable. Furthermore, Arman is also extremely independent, enthusiastic and creative, and enjoys a challenge. But, though he cares deeply about those around him, he does often put himself first.

How much do you Remember?: Arman has no recollection of how or where he died, nor can he remember growing up or much about his life. However he does remember his name and most vividly, Tel Aviv. His memory of Israel's largest city still remain, especially its streets and beaches. He can remember Armenia and its mountains, but nothing about the military.


Likes and Dislikes: Likes) Long walks, night time (if that even counts), attractive guys, his memories of Armenia, smoking, food and cooking.

The calm water of the canal rippled while Kaspir sat there on the bank solemnly his back to the cold stone with what should have been the start of his painting resting on his lap, usually he was more alive and willing to paint however tonight he felt different more subdued and quiet. Something was... peculiar. Kaspir did know without a shadow of doubt that it was all to do with the prophecy and The Return that the man in the square had been rambling about, everyone was preparing to leave. Kaspir and his best friend Alyo were of course leaving too as it would most likely be strange not to, he didn't know anyone who was staying. But he couldn't help feel slightly anxious. What if it failed? What if it went wrong? What if...it wasn't meant to be? That wasn't all though he had another feeling too, a strange one lurking in the back of his mind that he just couldn't understand or brush away.

Sighing he looked up and stared in awe at just how beautiful it was. True he had seen it all his life but it still just impressed him to no end. Kaspir picked up the blank sheet and lay it on the ground before then taking his brush, dipping it paint and settling down to start. He planned to do a painting unlike any he had ever done in memory of Bisith. He would create a scene of the canals snaking through the city exactly how they looked in front of him. Normally he would take little snippets of scenes from around the city and blend them all together, but not this time.

Not long after Kaspir started painting he could hear footsteps behind him and and abruptly turned his head to see who it was, breathing a sigh of relief when he noticed it was just his friend Alyo. Puzzled by why he was relieved it was his friend for it was safe here in Bisith for the to an extent anyway. "Any reason you are so...silent?", Alyo questioned sitting down next to Kaspir. Kaspir turned to his right looking at Alyo "I'm just questioning all of this, you know The Prophecy and that speech", he mutters quietly. "Well not much we can do other than just wait and hope for the absolute best", Alyo replies before standing up "Come on let's just go home, out of this cold"
Alyo grabs Kaspir's arm and pulls him up to standing. "Yeah I guess you're right", Kaspir's says following Alyo back towards their house.

short summary: Arman is an energetic Armenian with a deep love of Israel – and men. It's the memories of summers he spent in Tel Aviv that he cherishes the most and would do anything to have them back.

Character Bio: Well. Alison was a normal girl whose parents didn't really love her all that much. Lonely and sad, she didn't much care about her life until she realized that she was about to lose it.

When did that happen?

Well, one day she was walking home from school when she passed by someone who needed directions. She helped them out, and then continued walking home, not noticing that they were following her.

Who was that person?

They were... A SERIAL KILLER. I'm just kidding, they were actually an ex-convict who attacked and killed her. But they'd never killed anyone before, so they weren't a serial killer. I lied. Shock of shocks.

Being a Charli character is suffering.

Personality: Due to being incredibly lonely in both life and death, Alison tries to get attention and company by being a flirt, which tends to contrast with one of her other main personality traits--she's a bit of a tomboy. She was more feminine in life, but after death underwent a complete personality revamp.

How much do you Remember?: She remembers a heavy feeling of loneliness, and the face of her killer--nothing more.

Character Bio: Natalie Sucre loved dolls.

Like, really loved them.

How does that have any impact on the story? Surprise! It doesn't! I literally just put it in there to try and mislead you as to where I was going with this!

Anyway, serious time now, about as serious as I can get, anyway. Natalie Sucre had a wonderful life, despite having a name that basically meant 'sugar'. There were a lot of 'what a sweet name' jokes.

Her parents were loving, her little brother was absolutely adorable, and she had lots of friends. However, she also had one classmate with... darker intentions.

tl;dr, Natalie died in a school shooting because one of her classmates brought a gun to school and used it. It was very sad. But I'm going to treat it with the usual 'don't-care-at-all' attitude I treat my characters with, because I have depression issues and if I took this seriously things would go very downhill very fast.

Personality: Natalie is aggressive and territorial, fiercely defensive of what she views as her own. She tends to take that anger out on immobile objects, but if she ever took it out on a person... *sigh* It would be very, very ugly. Has an odd quirk in that her hands shake uncontrollably when she's dealing with people, or when she's upset.

How much do you Remember?: She remembers a feeling of overwhelming hatred and fear from her last moments, and the thought that she would never see her family again. She also remembers her family of course. That's it.


Likes and Dislikes: Having things, bladed weapons, shiny things, not much else; dogs, stupid people, guns, a lot of things.

Appearance

Character Bio: Marietta Tolina had a good life, on the outside. However, that simply wasn't true from the other side of the glass.

Her mother had strange beliefs and often forced Marietta to participate in odd rituals, many of which left Marietta at the mercy of all sorts of abuse. (Please note: I am making this up on the spot and this is not meant to reflect on any real system of beliefs. Any resemblance is purely coincidental. Man, I have always wanted to say that.) She took to hiding bruises and scars with long, elaborate clothing, and grew more and more depressed until she could no longer take it.

She ran away from home, and in a filthy motel room, slashed her wrists and let herself bleed out.

She didn't see any other options.

Personality: Marietta hides her desperate loneliness and pain under a calm and composed veneer, one she practiced in life and in death. She'll make polite conversation and help people all she can, but beneath that surface lies the dark depths of depression, and a past of pain.

Ooh! Alliteration!

How much do you Remember?: She remembers her mother and the strange rituals she was forced into, as well as the events leading up to her suicide. Oddly enough, though, she doesn't remember the suicide itself.
