The Cho'Dosans invented AI millennia before your nation even existed, for example.

Yeah, but to what extent did you develop it?

The UNS runs on AI and robotics. Despite the fact that we have a far shorter history, I suspect that we nonetheless have more actual, practical experience and more experts on AI theory.

Before the Covenant existed, AI was developed to an extent that synths in one of the Cho'Dosan nations actually revolted, having realized that they were used as slaves by the Cho'Dosans. The synth rebellion had to be put down, and since then, restrictions have been put on the creation of AI.

We have plenty of experts on AI theory, and since we have been developing it a lot longer than your nation, we could probably create a much more advanced AI; it just isn't done very often due to what happened centuries ago.

I'll just leave this for Fallen tomorrow since I did not get a response about the Greater Krastikan Union. I consider it an systemic power. Also I guess for the map I'd be one of Ordei's client states but near to/facing the Galactic Alliance.

The ASR just wants to be left alone. But since you are a superpower, they are willing to be friends with you for their own security.\

The GKU however, want to see the Galactic Alliance bathe in Nuclear Fire. Why do they hate you so much? Propaganda.

Perhaps the GKU may be interested in an alliance with the Covenant. We also want to see the Alliance bathe in Nuclear Fire :twisted:

The Supreme Leader of the GKU, Ereanas Sxhtra, has discovered evidence that the Galactic Alliance has been orchestrating the take over of the GKU. Where he got the evidence is anybody's guess, but at the moment he is stirring up hatred for the Galactic Alliance in order to explain why there are food shortages and why some people live better than others. He is already planning to annex smaller and weaker systems around the current borders of the GKU in the name of security for the GKU. He is also saying that within three years, the Greater Union will be able to obliterate the Galactic Alliance with massive volumes of superweapons.

If he does feel backed into a corner, he can rely on his ally the Empire of the Sun to back him up since the GKU is a client state of the Empire of the Sun. A very volatile client state, but a client state regardless.

It's not a dead industry. There are just restrictions on it in order to keep another AI rebellion from happening.

Something as advanced as AI would not simply be forgotten by the Covenant. We are still quite aware of how to construct very advanced synths.

I'm not sure Allinora if you should take the GKU seriously. I mean if you look at the app one of their military strengths is that they have the capability to feed their soldiers and equip all of them. As I keep on saying I based them off of North Korea.

That is the most basic requirement of any military!

Nation Name: The Setari Clans
Government Type: Oligarchic Dictatorship
National Leader(s): Archon Xiash
Population: 300 billion (Only 50 billion are Setari)
Star Systems: 60 systems
History Of Your Nation:

The Setari Clans hold a large swathe of space, existent entirely to their desire to pleasure themselves. Utterly devoid of familial, national, or regional loyalties; Setari instead group up in tribes of similar interests, be they war, scientific research, or plain hedonism. The more powerful of these tribes began, at an early age, to stratify their power along genetic lines, and through their numbers, intelligence, and strength, managed to force the subservience of the other, less organized tribes. This, although often breaking down in order, led to the rough equivalent of nation-states, although the borders and cultural allegiances wre ever shifting.

Eventually, the Setari made it to space, and quickly began leaving their overcrowded, polluted, and quickly decaying homeworld. What they truly longed for, however, were to meet other species; and soon they did. Called under a banner of common interest like never before, tens of thousands of colony ships landed on alien worlds with the desire for conquest. On their homeworld, slavery and genetic enhancement were commonly employed; alien species less advanced than them soon learned the meaning of horror as their black ships descended into the atmosphere, enslaving entire civilizations for no reason than individual pleasure.

As time went on, colonies began absorbing their own powers and duties, separating themselves of any connection with the homeworld, just as the tribes used to do. Devastating wars with foreign space powers, however, soon taught the need for alliance; and thus, the Setari clans were born. Only roughly tied together, they share virtually no common domestic law, although slavery and hedonism are rife on every planet. The only requirement for each Clan, whose power depends on the planets and resources they control, must pay a tithe in soldiers, taxes, and slaves to the central, federal governorship which is dominated by an elected Clan leader. The federal government does little to manage the smaller Clans, the vast majority of its expansion the result of individual Clan actions against small civilizations and uncivilized worlds.
=========================================================
-Military Information-
=========================================================
Military Information: The Setari are completely obsessed with slavery; their entire economic base revolves around it. Nonstop, round the clock production facilities are dedicated to the manufacture of military vehicles, weapons, and munitions, all built by slaves who have never seen the light of day. Every Setari is either a member of the military or a salve manager, thus creating a perpetual warrior and researcher class that is entirely based around putting down insurgencies and raiding. Their technology, though capable, is often entirely ripped off of that of other nations, with no respect to intellectual property as their market is insulated from the galaxy at large. The only Setari technology more naturally advanced than others is their movement capabilities - they are adept at lightning fast hit-and-runs, devastating enemy fleets by slaughtering their logistics and homeworlds, letting their own burn in the process just so they can bomb civilian centers of the enemy.
Military Population: 15 billion
Military Branches:

- Sitosh Clan: In times of Federal war, assumes ultimate power over fleets.
- Tinosh Clan: In times of Federal War, assumes ultimate power of ground wars.
- Kerok Clan: In times of Federal War, assumes ultimate power of espionage.

Military Strengths: Speed, individual quality, stealth, shock attacks, boarding, fearsome reputation.
Military Weaknesses: Numbers, lack of unity, undisciplined commanders.
=========================================================
-Diplomatic/Economic Information-
=========================================================
Languages: Setari
Foreign Policy: Uneasy peace with nations of equal or greater power; constant, "unaffiliated" piracy attacks are however common. Lesser nations and uncivilized worlds are ruthlessly enslaved.
Number Of Species: Countless. Setari are the ones in command.
Economic Strengths: Insulation from Galaxy at large, pure production capacity, and center of Galactic Black Market.
Economic Weaknesses: Slave labor ultimately inferior to automation.

Technological Bases:Mass Effect
Activity on NS: Can reply daily

#Twilight1 - Do Not Remove, as this is to track all Applications

Species Name: Setari
Appearance: http://orig03.deviantart.net/40ce/f/200 ... psonkh.jpg
Biology/Anatomy: The Setari are a sleek, reptilian species of great height and speed. In their homeworld, much of the land was an entire grassland, devoid of features, but encompassing thousands of miles of similar territory. As a result, they evolved to be incredibly responsive to stimuli - growing small appendages across their body that were receptive to wind, temperature, touch, and a myriad of indescribable feelings. Over time, as they gained sentience, the longer they lived the more hedonistic they became; eating, drinking, and reproducing without caution. As societies grew, they came to their first encounters of cruelty and sadism; in such a boring world, the horrors and pleasures they could inflict one each other became their sole focus. As such, they are cruel, fast, and easily addicted creature of complicated desire, constantly seeking thrill in whatever way they can.
Natural Abilities: The Setari are capable of piercing screams that they are iconic for, screams that can affect other living creatures on a psionic level and send them spiraling into madness for a short period of time.
Unnatural abilities: Some Setari are psionically gifted, and given enough time, can entirely meld minds with another living creature. Often times, this is used for torture, either to extract information, or for pure pleasure, as they can cause the victim to suffer nightmares of an unbelievable scale.
Breathable Gas: Oxygen
=========================================================
Life Span: Average life span of 50-80 years, depending on habits.
Reproduction: Sexually
Intelligence Level: Sentient
Species Type: Reptilian
=========================================================
Population Percentage: 16 percent.
Notable Individuals: The Archons of each Clan.
=========================================================
Brief Description of Species: The Setari are the dominating species of the Setari Clans; all others are slaves of their pleasure. Driven man by desires to stimulate themselves, they often resort to the pleasure of drugs, food, or flesh as they reach out into the stars. Their desiccated homeworld is now in shambles, a victim of their pollution and carelessness. The few disciplined enough to become leaders and scientists are glorified and live in unimaginable hedonistic excess, with the rests serving as footsoldiers and pirates.

Footage of the Kera Sacking
The following Footage led to the passage of the Setari Refugee Assistance Act

Image

A light flickers on, as foreign scientist begins documentation of what fate was befalling her beloved species. A budding, beautiful world, it was home to a mammalian, horse-like species on the cusp of civilization. Already discovering modern technoligies, they had yet to make it to space.

Yet they never would, as the Black Ships of the Setari were visible as she looked up at the sky. Fighters and transports flew down, small specks for now, but she knew what was to come.

The night before, worldwide power failure had started; an iconic sign of the Setari's approach. As the sips appeared, all those the horse-race had sent to contact them were cut short and the people who flew there disappeared. They were likely the first victims to befall this world's terrible fate.

As the specks grew closer, streaks of green light emerged, and quickly slammed into the skycrapers, obliterating them. There was no strategic value to this; the Setari did it to watch the beautiful explosions they made and make bets on how many were killed. The primitive fighter sent up to oppose them were shot down, and missiles fired at them quickly failed from electronic countermeasures. Theyw er ehelpless.

The scientist fled to her quarters as the sound of explosions came closer. Eventually, as she cowered in her home, she heard screams from the street behind her home; as shee peered out, she saw Setari screaming as they slew down civilians with their swords and axes, useless weapons in modern combat but used because of the Setari's thrill for bloodshed. Shock collars were placed on the less fortunate, as the first generation were always in need of "Breaking in" through hideous genetic experiments and mutations, as to to determine their worth as a species.

Tears fell down her face as she saw was befell the world, videotaping the sporadic reports of the planet's news network, only barely functiong from the cyber attacks, of the hideous cruelties being enacted across the world. Executions, tortures, and enslavement sent visions of a crumbling civilization to the camera.

As she heard knocking on the door, she finally stopped thinking about the video and her own safety. She quickly rushed to her console and uploaded the footage to her friends at home, before making a run for her transport. A futile effort, as the door was cut down quickly, and the Setari are far faster than she.

This is a Small RP example.

Because I felt like making some lore, here is some more info on the Roman Legions.

The First Legions were founded by the sons of the first emperor, Leridus Damesini. The emperor wanted
to remake the legions of ancient Rome, and began the program based around his sons. The first legion was
founded by his eldest son and heir, Penetus Damesini, a man well studied in warfare, but pompous and
arrogant. His legion would be Legio Imperia. The second legion went to his second son, Hamsetus Damesini,
an intelligent, cynical but humble and sane man (compared to some people). His legion would be Legio Hamsetia.
The third legion went to Koneta Damesini, a brutish and hot-headed man prefering to get in the grit of
war. His legion would be Legio Martiania. The fourth and final legion would go to the youngest of the four,
Quentus Damesini, a kind and just man with a passion in technology, preferring to command his legion from
afar. His legion would be Legio Paxia.

As emperors came and went these sons (exception being Penetus) would found their own dynasties, all
descended from emperor Leridus Damesini. Hamsetus would found the "Verusini" dynasty, Koneta would found the
"Marsini" dynasty, and Quentus would found the "Paxini" dynasty. These four dynasties, including the
Damesini dynasty, would all have one of their members be an emperor. Various sons of these dynasties would
split off from their legion, and create their own legions, soon amounting to 50 legions in the present
day. Most leaders of each legion are descended from the Damesini ancestry.

In the legions there are two types of legionnaires family-wise. the "Dynastics", those with a clear ancestry
to one of the sons of emperor Leridus Damesini and the "citizenials", those born from an average family and
offered to the legions from birth. Quite obviously, the Dynastics are referred in higher regard than the
citizenials, due to their royal blood, usually taking up commanding ranks such as officers or liuetenants.
Unlike citizenials, who are castrated at birth, the Dynastics are left whole and are encouraged to create
sons, who will then join their father in their respective legion. Daughters are given supportive roles in
their legion, and sometimes, if they are fit enough, they can even join as scouts or snipers for the legion.

Official Flag
Nation Name:
- (Chinese Name): 島國主權共和國聯盟
- (Pinyin Transliteration): Dǎoguó zhǔquán gònghéguó liánméng
- (English Name): Union of Sovereign Dasian Republics (or simply known as, the Dasian Union)
Government Type:
- Socialist State
- Soviet Democracy
- Parliamentary Republic
National Leader(s): Leader Undefined (Collective Leadership)
Population: Approximately 769 Billion
Star Systems: Approximately 9,570 (According to various government sources)
History Of Your Nation: The Dasian Union was created through a series of long yet rather peaceful revolutions carried out by numerous worker and socialist political parties. Initially, before the Dasian Union existed, around the beginning of the 22nd century, the Dasian Union was once just a galactical community of industrial star systems with planets bearing populations no more than three to six billion inhabitants. The socialist and worker parties were a response towards the materialist threat of neighbouring imperialism from other star systems; however, as previously mentioned, the revolutions were somewhat peaceful in spite of the urgency expressed dearly by the socialist and worker political parties. Unfortunately, as the urgency grew to such a critical level near the middle of the 22nd century, a dozen of the socialist political parties band together to form a nationalistic socialist party called, the People's Union Front (or in Chinese, "人民聯盟陣線"; or in Pinyin transliteration, "Rénmín liánméng zhènxiàn"). Shortly after the party's foundation, the People's Union Front overthrew the giant yet corrupt republican government and laid the foundations for the Union of Sovereign Dasian Republics by integrating a total of 600 other neighbouring star systems who were affiliated and sympathised socialism and the nationalism for a unified union; however, the creation of a confederation of socialist republics overshadowed the horrors being carried out by the new socialist government and the People's Union Front.

By the 2160s, as the newly founded Dasian Union set itself on a course of radical modernization and militarisation unparalleled in its history, the new socialist government carried out a series of the most appalling and ineffable purges to cleanse out any enemies of the states, and those who were especially anti-socialist, imperialist sympathizers, and were non-humanoid races. Millions if not only billions of people and other alien races alike were deported to concentration camps across every stretch of the Dasian Union's territories, and at the same time, liquidation and nationalisation was also carried out especially upon corporate enterprises and businesses as for the Dasian Union to rid any capitalist elements left unchecked and uncontrolled. Plus, even the People's Union Front was not safe from the purges as both political members and leaders were liquidated as well, with over approximately 200 million people executed, imprisoned, or exiled (whom will never be seen again for good). Even so, in spite of such atrocities carried out by the new Dasian government, the purges eventually ended just well over six decades later in 2223 AD; however, even during such purges, the Dasian Union also carried one of the most unspeakable acts that only can be described as a massacre rather than a war. Just only halfway through the Dasian purges, the Dasian Union proceeded to invade its neighbouring star systems with no warning or official declaration of war.

Caught by surprise and terror by the ferocity of the Dasian Union's military invasion, the neighbouring star systems were immediately defeated just barely a few months into what the Dasian Union called, the 5th Succession War (or in Chinese, "5日連續戰爭"; or in Pinying transliteration, "5 Rì liánxù zhànzhēng"). In the course of four years for the 5th Succession War (2194 AD to 2198 AD), over a staggering total of 2,100 star systems were conquered by the Dasian Union and integrated as satellite nations along with the atrocities of the purges carried into the war as well. Through these four brutal yet swift years of the 5th Succession War, the Dasian Union has been responsible for the deaths of approximately 520 billion people (military and civilian alike), and along with the casualties ranking up to 390 billion upon the Dasian Union's military; however, such losses were largely outweighed by the spoils and riches brought by the star systems brought under the Dasian Union's control. Therefore, not surprisingly, the Dasian Union proceeded with reconstruction and modernization to its conquered star systems, while carrying the other half of the purges upon its subjects and its own people to rid opposition and paranoia. Unfortunately, in spite of such riches brought by these newly conquered star systems, the success of the 5th Succession War had brought the Dasian Union in a troubling economic position.

By the time the purges were over just 40 years after the 5th Succession War, the original architects of the People's Union Front and the socialist political movements in the Dasian Union eventually died out in the years following after the purges. Soon, by the 2240s, various branches of the Dasian Union's government began to compete for power, which not surprisingly enough, an aggregate of interest groups began to form in place of where the purges and the People's Union Front had once reigned. The parliament, the civil bureaucracy, the military, and the labour parties were all vying for the ear of the Dasian Union's collective leadership in whose name they administered the government. Though while the competition for power broiled within the Dasian Union's government, the Dasian Union's industry expanded in the decades following after the 5th Succession War, both in light industries and especially heavy industries. Although as reconstruction was nearing to a close, along with the economic prosperity brought from riches of war, the Dasian Union was hit hard by multiple economic depressions and galactical worker strikes.

Apparently, with the Dasian Union left with no trading partners to export its products, and with the ideology of autarky still lingering strong among the economic foundations of the Dasian Union, there was no market for the Dasian Union's products to be sold, and even if there was a market, it was too far and did not recognised the Dasian Union. Therefore, with no markets available, the Dasian Union was left with gargantuan levels of surplus and stockpile as a result of overproduction and overestimation within government industrial planning; however, the upshot of such enormous leftovers was that the military enjoyed a seemingly limitless supply of raw materials to expand the army and the navy in order to better control the Dasian Union's territories. Unfortunately, with such overproduction and overestimation, it soon became apparent that workers across all heavy industries began to go on strike upon learning the news of such economic failures. Subsequently, the Dasian Union's dramatic economic growth slowed, and social problems increased, especially for the heavy industry sectors. At the same time, as a final result of the economic setbacks and depression, public frustration sowed with the political leadership back on the Dasian Union homelands.

Worst still, military units under the galactical commands across multiple areas in the Dasian Union's satellite nations grew increasingly impatient with the politicians' apparent inability to translate any of their military victories into political gains. Increasingly, the Dasian Union was persuaded by the militarists' contention that the Dasian Union's security lay in consolidating its access to markets and resources across the galaxy (specifically the entire eastern side of the Perseus Arm in the galaxy). Soon, the impatience of the galactical commanders in the Dasian Union's satellite nations finally showed (62 years after the 5th Succession War), when they used a terrorist provocation as an excuse to put all the Dasian Union's territory in the northeast part of the galaxy under control of the military. Subsequently, the military move presented the Dasian Union's civilian government with an accomplishment that could not afford to be ignored. The military-industrial machine eventually kicked into high gear, pulling the Dasian Union out of its depressions as it continued to expand the Dasian Union's hegemony across most of the entire eastern side of the Perseus Arm in the galaxy. Soon, as victory after victory ensued, the Dasian Union sought to further expand its military conquest across the eastern Perseus Arm and eventually starting what the Dasian Union called, the 6th Succession War (or in Chinese, "6日連續戰爭"; or in Pinyin transliteration, "6 Rì liánxù zhànzhēng").

Often called the Six Year War, the 6th Succession War lasted from 2271 AD to 2177 AD, and it was the longest war recorded in the Dasian Union history; however, the 6th Succession War had a different attitude when it came to the spoils of war. The Dasian Union had initially been on a glorious victory spree for the first several years of the 6th Succession War; however, the Dasian Union began to encounter deficiencies from within its own military efforts. With a total of 9,562 star systems added to the Dasian Union just two years into the 6th Succession War, the Dasian Union's military conquest began to slow down as its very logistical and infrastructural efforts faltered under the increasingly enormous strain of acquiring star system after another at such blistering speed. In addition, with over 452 billion military personnel wounded or dead, and along with nearly over thousands and millions of ships and vehicles lost throughout the war, the military could replenish its loses so quickly as its logistical and infrastructural efforts could not keep up with the distance and speed of the Dasian Union's military campaigns. Eventually, the Dasian Union realised that its eyes were bigger than its stomach, and unfortunately, the last military offensive campaign was called off and an armistice was declared immediately, and finally, after five years of relentless skirmishes and insurgencies, a peace treaty was ratified and declaring the end of the 6th Succession War by mid-2177.

Left nearly bankrupt, and with the Dasian Union's government transitioning from fanatical militarism to parliamentary republicanism, the Dasian Union's new programmes in response to the post-war economy left the Dasian Union in a precarious economic position once again. The gargantuan expenses for reconstruction projects across both the Dasian Union and its satellite nations (and colonies as well) necessitated for enormous political and economic changes; some of these such changes had been ignored in the years before the 6th Succession War. Even though the Dasian Union continued in using conscription and rationing as an attempt to control demand and normalise the economy, the Dasian Union's real change came in how it approached in treating its newly acquired colonies from the 6th Succession War. To avert protest and rebellion, the Dasian Union bolstered its employment agencies and work programs into action and immediately replenished its enormous workforce for reconstruction and economic recovery. Plus, the Dasian Union held off upon placing taxes and reparations upon its newly acquired colonies, and instead encouraged its subjects to compete in the Dasian Union's own economic network/organisation called, the People's Sovereign Economic Union (or in Chinese, "人民主權經濟聯盟"; or in Pinyin transliteration, "Rénmín zhǔquán jīngjì liánméng"); however, in spite of such enormous success and the support won over by the Dasian Union's colonies by the end of the 23rd century, the Dasian Union still faced political instability with the same aggregate of interest groups consisted of the parliament, the civil bureaucracy, the military, and the labour parties who are all still vying for the ear of the Dasian Union's collective leadership in whose name they administered the government.

Military Branches:
- (Army): The PDRA, or the People's Dasian Republican Army (or properly known in Chinese as, "人民島國共和軍"; or in Pinyin transliteration, "Rénmín dǎoguó gònghé jūn"), is the official ground-based armed force of the Dasian Union. Primarily responsible for the planetary ground defences and military offensive campaigns in the Dasian Union's military, the PDRA is separated into two subcategories that are responsible for two specialties; the Dasian Ground Army Service ("島國軍隊地面服務"), and the Dasian Army Air Service ("島國陸軍航空服務"). Although rather decentralised in the manner of which the air force is not is own separate branch, the Dasian Army Air Service is tasked with providing tactical close air support for ground troops while maintaining rather limited air interdiction capabilities for planetary offenses; however, the Dasian Army Air Service are also tasked with the sole purposes of interception and consolidating air superiority within the upper reaches of planetary orbits in terms of defences.
- (Navy): The PDRN, or the People's Dasian Republican Navy (or properly known in Chinese as, "人民對島國海軍的共和黨"; or in Pinyin transliteration, "Rénmíng duì dǎoguó hǎijūn de gònghé dǎng"), is the official navy of the Dasian Union. Much like the army, the PDRN is tasked with the galactical defences and military offensive campaigns in the Dasian Union's militiary, and as such, the navy is separated into three subcategories that are responsible for three specialties; the Dasian Maritime Service ("島國海事服務"), the Dasian Navy Air Service ("島國海軍航空服務"), and the Dasian Navy Land Service ("島國海軍的土地服務"). Because the PDRN has its own ground combat units, the PDRN virtually has control over what could have been the People's Dasian Republican Marines; however, the Dasian Navy Land Service should not be confused with the Dasian Ground Army Service, since the Dasian Navy Land Service are in control of the Dasian Union's own Planetary Landing Forces, Construction Units, Communication Units, and etc.
- (Paramilitary): Considered as the Dasian Union's military police and peacekeeping department, the PDRG, or the People's Dasian Republican Guards (or in Chinese, "人民島國的共和國衛隊"; or in Pinyin transliteration, "Rénmín dǎoguó de gònghéguó wèiduì"), is held with the responsibility in maintaining the peace and order upon the Dasian Union homeland and colonies alike. Unlike the Army and the Navy, the PDRG works cooperatively with both law enforcement departments and espionage departments, and thereby acting as an armed police unit in case of the outbreak of any riots, rebellions, terrorist attacks, evacuations, and etc. Plus, as opposed to the Army and the Navy, the PDRG is also responsible in safeguarding the Dasian Union's political and governing entities at all cost, and if that was not enough, the PDRG is also tasked in counter-terrorism and holds the authority to carry out raids upon suspected areas of interest across the Dasian Union and its colonies.
Military Strengths:
- (Overwhelming Numbers): The use of conscription allows the Dasian Union to recruit soldiers very easily and mobilise a massive fighting force in both the Army and the Navy as well. The Navy benefits especially from conscription since it can provide the Dasian Union a massive invasion force capable of taking planets in matter of weeks; however, only the most well trained and bravest soldiers can be recruit into the Navy Land Service, whereas the Army can easily recruit any soldier that is basically deemed fit for service rather than for experience and training. Due to the universal military uniforms, Dasian Union soldiers appear almost identical to each other with a couple or few changes done to the uniform to maximize as much simplicity as possible while out in the field. Even the paramilitary shares the universal military uniforms as like in both the Army and the Navy; however, the paramilitary can only except soldiers who have more than 5 to 10 years of experience from law enforcement and had to have served in the military for at least two years.
- (Vast Industrial Sector): Because of the Dasian Union's history as an industrial powerhouse, the Dasian Union can be able to provide the weapons, munitions, equipment, vehicles, and the ships to fight a galactical war quite easily. In addition, in spite of the lack of robotics within most of the Dasian Union's heavy industries, the Dasian Union prospers with a huge and diverse workforce at the helm in the Dasian Union's economy, and allowing the Dasian Union to easily defy economical expectations (especially for peacetime prosperity). Furthermore, the Dasian Union is no stranger to the shipbuilding industry, since even before the foundation of the Dasian Union, shipbuilding was a massive and formerly competitive market for the star systems that eventually founded the Dasian Union; therefore, the Dasian Union can produce ships en masses (especially destroyers, cruisers, and freighters). On top of the shipbuilding industry, the Dasian Union has one of the largest mineral industries in the galaxy (on par with some of the other galactical superpowers), which paved the way for the gargantuan size of the Dasian Union's heavy industry sectors.
Military Weaknesses:
- (Decentralised Military Branches): Due to the decentralised nature and organisation of the Dasian Army and Navy, the Dasian Union's military is complex and strife with logistical complications; however, it should be noted that both the Army and the Navy share military uniforms, firearms, and vehicles that are interchangeable to serve in either military branch. Unfortunately, even with standardised military uniforms, firearms, and vehicles, the Dasian Army and Navy do not cooperate as a unified military force, especially when it comes to both the officer corps and the high command. Therefore, it is no surprise that the Dasian Army and Navy function as two separate military entities and focus primarily on their own agendas to defending the Dasian Union. Worst still, if cooperation was almost non-existent between the Army and Navy, both military branches do not share the same mindsets in spite of their obligation of defending the Dasian Union and its territories; for instance, the Army emphasizes the practice of 'Ask Questions First and Shoot Later' when it comes to first encounters in space, whereas the Navy emphasizes the practice of 'Shoot First and Ask Questions Later' on the other hand.
- (Slow Deployment): As another consequence, due to the decentralised nature and organisation of the Dasian Union's military, it is no surprise that with such complexity in both the Army and Navy that there comes a slow response to declarations of war. Although the Dasian Union has the industry and the workforce to provide the military with the necessary equipment and materials to fight a galactical war, the logistics are mostly disastrous, not from infrastructure, but from how much decentralisation there is in the Dasian Union's military. With both the Army and the Navy possessing their own weaponry and equipment, in spite of such strict and rigorous standardisation, providing the munitions, materials, and consumables to various departments within the Army and the Navy can only be simply described as a nightmare. Even if both the Army and the Navy share the same universal military uniforms, standard service weapons, and vehicles, both military branches have different specifications that only complicate logistics. For instance, when it comes to military hardware like computers, both the Army and the Navy use floppy disks and cassette tapes as the standard physical media for all Dasian Union computers; however, the Army and the Navy have radically different formats for different purposes, which prevents both military branches from interchangeably using each others physical media, which further complicates logistics and adding a considerable amount of manufacturing complications.

Languages: Traditional Chinese
Foreign Policy:
- (First Encounter Policy): Although the Dasian Union has had a history of aggressive military conquest, the Dasian Union is rather optimistic when it comes to first encounters in times of peace. Even with the decentralised nature of the Dasian Union's military, the Dasian Union makes exceptions for when it comes in contact with new star systems or unknown threats who venture into Dasian Union territory. If a star system were to be inhabited by another existing galactical superpower, the Dasian Union would keep their eye upon such star systems until the Dasian Union can either come to terms with the already existing galactical superpower; however, if an international incident were to occur in the form of violence, the Dasian Union will have no problem in swiftly acquiring such star systems without any hesitations. In a similar scenario with unknown ships venturing into Dasian Union territory, the Navy would actually escort any freighters or cruise ships out and keep a close eye upon such vessels; however, if the vessels were warships and they were to provoke an attack upon Dasian Union ships, the Navy would stick to its 'Shoot First and Ask Questions Later' policy and immediately engage the threat without any hesitation or regrets in their ensuing actions. Although if such warships were to just simply stray clueless and otherwise not provoke any violence upon the Dasian Union's ships, then such warships are simply escorted out, and if possible, exchange some cultural exchanges if such unknown warships were to be entering into Dasian Union territory for the first time.
- (Trading Policies): With the establishment of the People's Sovereign Economic Union, galactical trade within the Dasian Union simply goes by one word; Mercantilism. No other colony or star system in the Dasian Union's influence cannot trade with other outside galactical superpowers unless said otherwise through the Dasian Union's government (which depends on which interest group is at the helm of the Dasian Union political and governing body). Although quite restrictive and damming for some of the Dasian Union's colonies, the colonies actually enjoy protection and access to products and economic opportunities offered by the Dasian Union itself. In addition, if such colonies or star systems were to become members of the People's Sovereign Economic Union, the colonies were given representation in the government; however, the disadvantage with becoming a member is that the colonies are recognised as satellite nations and are expected to act as their own sovereign state while pledging allegiance and loyalty to the Dasian Union itself.

It will be, for you, a dead industry at best. Hundreds of years of prohibition has a tendency to kill the scientific, infrastructural, and economic support for any field of industry.

It's not a dead industry. There are just restrictions on it in order to keep another AI rebellion from happening.

Something as advanced as AI would not simply be forgotten by the Covenant. We are still quite aware of how to construct very advanced synths.

Oh just let him have the advantage. Think of it this way, your a Westerner who dropped an Ipad into a Small Ethiopian Village, and he's the Ethiopian Children who were able to figure it out and hack it within 5 months. Make the appropriate connections, I feel like if I continue on, I'm going to say something fucked up.
