So, in preparation for the Federation's Representatives' Gala, a character application for the Ruin's delegation, despite the fact I have no idea what the purpose of said app is :P

Name: Madeline Nadir
Appearance:Image
Gender: Female
Age:43
Species: Kulu Human
History/Biography:
Born during the last years of the Kulu golden age during the reign of Queen Catherine II on the urbanized world of Minaria, Madeline Nadir grew up comfortably in a well-financed home with first-rate education. Early in her life, Madeline discovered that she had a well above average knack for public speaking and conversation. This was much to the distaste of her classmates, as her sweet-talking often convinced her teachers to exempt her from many punishments. Eventually, they came to like her, for she struck a deal with the bullies of the school only to double-cross them and ridicule them.

A life of civil service opened up at that moment, when she realised the change she could make through persuasion of others and wielding the wonderfully complex art of politicking. A group of her fans followed her around to her displeasure, but she kept them loyal while enjoying her time with a best friend who easily saw through her measured words. By the time that she graduated with honours and began campaigning for office, she had already made several clever agreements and alliances.

In a landslide victory against a tired and aging opponent, she became a rapidly advancing parliamentarian of one of Minaria’s planetary governments, an occupation she maintained for only a single term, due to a jokingly made suggestion by a minor royal family member at a governmental party that sent her clawing for the Kingdom’s Overseeing Congress. Again winning massively, she became the youngest MP of the Congress in the history of the Kulu, an impressive feat at the age of 27. Her friend remained at her side all throughout it, encouraging her onwards.

But her pride in herself for such an achievement was not to last. The political climate was already destabilizing by that time, and Catherine II was of ill health and practically on her deathbed. Many were describing that time as the end of the golden age. Madeline easily saw the rising dissent and attempted to calm her electorate, but to no avail. Her duty made impossible, she set about collecting political influence for contingency plans.

Then came the Queen’s death and the ascension of Emanuel I to the throne, and the farcical and corrupted elections that produced a horrible Prime Overseer. Madeline barely held onto her electorate by doing the same thing her opposition was doing: cheating. Regardless, the King was overextending his already gratuitous power and interfering with the proceedings of the government. All seemed hopeless until Prince Michael Saldana approached her.

He told her of his distaste for the state of the Kingdom, and his admiration for her manipulative nature. She had smiled and had tried to strike a favourable yet unenforceable deal as she always had, but the Prince saw through it effortlessly, just like her childhood friend. He interrupted her.

“You are not worth that much, Miss Nadir. There are many others like you willing to do the same thing, and there will be no negotiating.”
A future position was offered. Diplomacy, dealing, everything that she wanted, and the chance to actually make change.

It had shocked her, of course, but it truly was a chance that civil service had not given her. She begrudgingly accepted, and the future Lord-of –Ruin-to-be disappeared into the shadows.

Her loyalty became much more secure when her best friend was killed in the opening battles of the Highbreed War, one of many civilian casualties when the unknown enemy consumed the world she had been vacationing on. It left Madeline gutted, and Michael reappeared, this time with genetic engineering, the affinity gene, and the forces of bio-technology corporations behind him. He told her the Exodus was ready. Madeline just stared at him. He had manipulated her as she had manipulated so many others, and for that he earned her respect.

On the flagship Ombey, with Michael and the other High Tacticians on board, she received the affinity gene. She also fell in love with one of the crewmen, a similarly intelligent engineer by the name of Callum. Upon their arrival in Pacem several years later, they married in a subdued ceremony. Now, she darts between her duties, preforming them with excellent success.
=========================================================
Powers/Abilities (If any): Affinity gene.
Strengths: Quick on her feet, highly intelligent, callously resistant to pressure and an amazing diplomat. Remarkably tough despite her trauma, which she has mostly moved on from.
Weaknesses: Untrained in combat, initially unfriendly.
Equipment (If Any): Bitek Processor equipped with universal translator programs.
=========================================================
Position in your nation: High Diplomat
Job/Profession: Acts as a one-person PR firm for the Lord of Ruin, and also handles major diplomatic meetings, assemblies and negotiations. She is also sometimes involved in defusing the often heated atmosphere of the (very rare) worker strikes. More minor diplomacy is handled by various hawk captains.
Affiliations: (If Any) The High Tacticians (to also be apped.).

Hey, guys. This is not an actual app. This is just a glimpse... into my dream.

-Base Information-
=========================================================
Image
Nation Name: The Terran Empire (Also Called: Imperium Romanum, The Roman Imperium, The Terran Imperium, Regnum Domini [Kingdom of the Lord])
Government Type: Federated Christian Theocratic Imperial Semi-Democratic Parliamentary Diarchy, with stratocratic elements.
National Leaders: His Imperial Majesty, Emperor Lucius XII of the Second Augustus Dynasty [international-political/commander-in-chief-military] ; His Papal Excellency, Pope Francis XIV of the Lord's Clergy [domestic-political/adviser-military].
Population: 100 Billion.
Star Systems: 20.
History Of Your Nation: The Terran Empire, also known as Imperium Romanum, the Roman Imperium, the Terran Imperium, and Regnum Domini (by zealous religious Christians) is a powerful nation despite its small size and population. Indeed, the Terran Empire has had consolidated power over its own homeworld for at least two millenia. The Terran Empire is an odd form of government, in which Consuls are elected to govern Sectors and such as 'sovereign' states or colonies; where as the Sol System is in sole possession of the Imperial government itself. The Terran Empire has extremely strict laws. The Imperial Senate, formed up of two houses - the Vox Populi (Voices of the People), often called Senators - and then the Imperial Lordship. The Lordship is a house full of Clergy members, Senate-Consuls, soldiers of the Roman military, among other important figures. Together, the Senate has most of the power of the Empire. However, elections are strict and all people must follow laws of the nation.

The Bible is also an extremely sacred piece of Roman law. For, all people of Terra and its colonies are Christians, worshiping the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, son of God. The Christian laws are especially important to the nation. The Senate, thanks to having Archbishops and other important Clergymen, can elect into power the Pope for religious leadership as well as domestic leadership; while His Imperial Majesty is important domestically, he is seen as the face of the Empire abroad, as well as being the leader of the military primarily. While the monarchy is hereditary, in times of emergency or if the Emperor has no possible heirs, the Senate also elects the Emperor. The Populus Aula - People's Court - is the judiciary, and is selected by the Senate.

The Terran Empire's military plays a key role in politics, especially in the Imperial Lordship. This is where the stratocratic elements come in, as the Imperial Senate can make educated decisions concerning battles, troops and other war-time matters effectively and quickly. The Terran Empire's military is formed up of the Imperial Legions, the most elite of which are the Emperor's Own Legion (for protection of the Emperor and elite missions), and the Lord's Protectors (for religious crusades and campaigns in the name of the Lord).

Overall, the Terran Empire is a complex nation, but it is not hostile unnecessarily - at least, as long as a foreign nation is not deemed an abomination.

Yeah, but to what extent did you develop it?

The UNS runs on AI and robotics. Despite the fact that we have a far shorter history, I suspect that we nonetheless have more actual, practical experience and more experts on AI theory.
