This is a common practice in player RP's as well- if you are inactive (or repeatedly break the rules), your character gets killed.

There is really no easy fix for nation RP's like this. The concept itself is flawed and cannot work.

Okay, hold on now. I've been in multiple nation Rp's that have lasted just as long DOS did and were pretty stable and have had the common player dropouts that we've had. In my opinion, we need a common plotline and OP's and CO-OPs that are actually present. With the first DOS, we had the High Breed that worked as a common enemy and kept people invested. While I'd like to do something besides space bugs again, I think a common thing we can all interact with would help greatly.

Plus, I want to be an Imperial Tagali Federation, let me have this, dammit!

I agree, he has a point. A common enemy that everybody can fight lets the minor RPers that are not interested or capable of joining the plotlines spun by the big RPers lets everybody get involved. Otherwise they are forced to do really cliche arcs with the people right next to them, which hardly ever develop.

Different things entirely, Gambia has been planning this rp since before ToTG, whereas VOID started planning theirs when alinora suggested a collaborative reboot.

I believe so, you can either og to Gambia rp, which is a sort of spiritual successor, it has Jedi in it as well as many other members or go to Voids, where it has space romans, which someone else did first but hey.

Well i am helping with Gambias, so it is a bit natural, and occasionally I find Void a bit Grinding, then again i have felt that for many rpers that were in this, lol.
