And I'm sure my feedback isn't super important given I haven't had a chance to post given that I joined after the mission started, but I would not opposed to the next "mission" being a training exercise given how much of a disaster this one turned out to be.

I was thinking Shenanigans, I think like sending pvts, and airmen to search for grid squares or to go ask Air Traffic Control for x amount of meters/yards of flight line

Would Regular Army / Spec Ops accept some forms of individuals? Well, I understand if people wanna introduce an interesting character, but being interesting does not mean being a prick or unprofessional who I'm sure would not last through 3 months of basic training where intense stress was placed on a fresh civilians.

I think that's part of the misunderstanding. Having team leaders isn't just IC but also OOC. I think Cy used to require more detailed/longer posts/apps for officer types? Meh. I got it from somewhere and tried doing it in ATHENA.

Ranks in Apps would help alot.

I don't think ranks should really matter that much, i'd prefer looking at the specializations of the individuals, which in the end would prove much more important then their ranks.

Ranks also let us set a clear chain. Of command to make things flow smoother, while specializations allow us to do certain things that we can not normally do, which in a situation specializations are needed that Trumps rank. Like you always listen to the EOD tech no matter his/her rank when around Explosives they are disabling.
