What is this?

There's no denying that P2TM has a great love for superhero RPs. Though the genre has its ups and downs in popularity, it has proven that it has staying power. Superhero RPs of all kinds of themes, characters, and settings have found success here. This RP group is fundamentally for people who share this love of superhero RPs and the entire genre. Hopefully we can create an environment where new ideas can be discussed and formulated, and RPs can grow and expand. Of course there is also room for casual discussion about the genre, or anything really. This is just a friendly place for superhero fans.

Booster Gold



"I'm sure you're all wondering who I am. Well, how about the 411? I'm pure gold, ladies and gentlemen. I am Booster Gold, the greatest hero you've never heard of... till now!"

Booster Gold is a man from the future who stole technology and went back in time to become a superhero. He originally sought fame and glory and used his technology and knowledge of the past for his own gain, but has since matured into a much more capable superhero that is weighed down by his former reputation.

First Appearance:

Booster Gold #1 (February 1986)

Powers and abilities:

Flight, super strength, durability granted by technology
Time Travel through technology
Able to see in different wavelengths on the electromagnetic spectrum through technology
Heads Up Display through technology
Ages slower than a normal human

Pappy Banner



"You shouldn't have made me angry, Logan... People piss themselves when I get angry."

Pappy Banner is Bruce Banner from an alternate universe where a group of supervillains killed the Marvel heroes. Banner went insane from the nuclear radiation and became a monstrous version of himself driven by animalistic urges. Hulk eventually killed Abomination and took over California. He then married his cousin She-Hulk and had many children called the "Hulk Gang".

First Appearance:

Old Man Logan Giant-Size Vol 1 #1 (2009)

Powers and abilities:

Giant version of the Hulk, but actually has a weaker healing factor

"My darkness was darker than yours!"

Owain is the son of Lissa, a member of the royal family of the Halidom of Ylisse, from the future. When the Fell Dragon Grima took over the world Owain went back in time with the other children of the Shepherds to when Grima could still be stopped. He worked with the Shepherds to defeat Grima. He has a deep obsession with theatrics and heroism. He speaks in an overly theatric and antiquated manner and is obsessed with seeking glory and heroism as the "Divine Hero of the Ages". He has a habit of giving names to things believing that giving an object a name increases its power, and is constantly naming his moves and attacks. He does this for dramatic effect as he doesn't really have uncontrollable power and can actually be quite mature. He is obsessed with Justice and being a hero and formed the Justice Cabal with other children of the Shepherds, and after Grima was defeated he travelled the land helping people.

Emil Blonsky - Abomination



"I know what triggers it, you freak. I know how strong you are to the nearest decimal point. I don't need to know how to become like you—I need to know how to control it!"


In this universe Emil Blonsky worked with General Ross to hunt down the Hulk because he wanted to study the Hulk to figure out a cure for his own wife's gamma mutation. In the process he is exposed to gamma radiation and develops a split personality as the Abomination. He eventually is ruined when he transforms into the Abomination in front of the US military and his wife dies. The Abomination personality convinces him to give into it fully and he turns into a monstrous version of the Abomination until he is finally defeated by the Hulk. This version of Abomination could turn back into a human and pursued the Hulk to find a cure for his gamma mutated wife.

The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction (2005)

Larger version of Abomination. Stronger and more durable, yet also faster

I have an idea for a DC rp, set in Gotham, batman has gone missing, but before he dissapeared he sent a message for help out to various heroes bringing them to Gotham, and the resident villains have done something similar for their own purposes, A storm is coming to Gotham, let us hope it can weather it.

So I have a name for the Gotham rp, Gotham: The Coming Storm.

The general idea is Batman has canished but contacted various heroes for help before he did so. The villains have done the same, but not all the villains are truly evil anymore.

Previous RP Experience: A fair bit off-site, though admittedly it is run slightly differently than the P2TM, with multiple threads and mechanics alongside character interaction. Can link if required. On site am participating in a few but no where near the extend of RP of many others.
Favorite Superhero Genre: Do enjoy those which pose philosophical/ethical questions. So your Batman Returns, Watchmen, Civil War, X-Men etc. Really am quite partial to the concept of a "God" amongst men and the societal impact it has. Maybe it is because of "Dawn of Justice" but the idea of a literal superbeing taking an active part in human living, and the fallout it has with humans of all alignments really appeals to me. For RP specific genres, probably grounded in realism as much as possible - one of the reasons I cannot seem to really get in to the Multiverse RPs, which is sad because they often see the most activity. Though that is admittedly because I dislike all that magic and God-powers - with the player characters being at the lower end of the power spectrum. And if there is a more powerful being, then they are central to the theme of the RP as a whole, rather than simply one of many.

Basic Premise: A new drug has found its way in to New York. The craze for this new narcotic grows exponentially, until it sweeps across all levels of society. What the public don't know, is that this drug is simply the byproduct of a serum created by a joint Nazi-U.S research project looking in to the "unlocking" of once-thought worthless codes within the human genome. In the city itself, believed to be just another low-level drug factory, a group of these researchers are experimenting on their patients. Patients who are having their secrets unlocked...
More detailed Premise:
- It is set during the Cold War, either in the immediate aftermath of the Cuban Missile Crisis or at the height of the Vietnam War.
- In this timeline, post-war U.S-Nazi cooperation was of a far greater and long-lasting nature, especially in the field of secret research. As the Cold War grew hotter, the Nazi scientists were brought in to greater and greater projects, culminating in the Magnitude serum. However, as the secret projects expanded in scope, so did their links with the enemy.
- Forming a nefarious alliance with Latin American criminals and Soviets, the Magnus Project intends to spread their product across all of America in preparation for their forced uplift. For the American handlers, this will provide them with the ability to create an army of supersoldiers to bring the American Way to the world. For the Nazis, it is simply one way of many to cause the fall of one of their nations' foes.
- At an undisclosed location within New York City, a group of patients are undergoing the last trials before their powers develop to a permanent state. Afterwards, they are to be shipped away to a secure location to undergo intensive indoctrination. However, a benign accident, unseen by all of the project leaders, will release these victims in to the city.
- Some are idealists, others criminals, many are simply tourists from across the states or indeed across the pond. What they all have in common is a tormentor and access to abilities the rest of the world only know of from brightly coloured comics.
- This would be the initial stepping block for an original/prequel story arc of RPs which looks at the formation of these "superheroes". Subsequent RPs would see their rise as they battle the supervillians they created, then as they near the time to pass on the mantle, in pops a super bad who wipes the floor with them. This would be the introduction of the super good who saves humanity, and in doing so, takes our future in to their hands. Then cue Dawn of Justice 2: The Good Version and the lasting formation of our truly original universe.
