Latin is still used as a comparison when new words are invented in English and a lot of Western Languages.... And you can still learn it at school, so It's influence is still around. Most Catholic priests also speak Latin fluently.....

I don't know what school is like in America anymore.... I just spent the last five years here in Switzerland fighting my way through German and French, Latin was a no go for me. I just went to Elementary and middle school in America, so I have no idea what High School is like. i just imagined that a lot of places offered Latin, because it's pretty widespread here...

So if somebody ever saw any evidence of something happening, they'd never suspect that it was a vampire sucking somebody's blood and just think somebody was getting it on on the living room floor. But of course that's not true, since Vampires aren't sexually active anymore.

Kids are new to this world. They can still see hope. They can still believe whatever the adults think aren't real. Us grown-ups? We've just seen too much dark in this world that we stopped hoping and believing in the "unreal".
