Name: My name is Chishina Yoko, although some choose to call me Seishin.

Quote/Motto: "My soul is stained red with blood. I will do anything to cleanse it."

Affiliation: I wish to consider myself a hero.

Age: Chronologically, I am sixteen years old. However, I can change my biological age whenever I choose.

Gender: I was created with a female body, and see myself as such.

Appearance:

I won't harm you, but beware of my sister. She is dangerous.

Why do we prefer certain forms over others? I don't know. Why do you prefer a certain set of clothes over others? To us, a form is merely clothing to be changed at will.

I don't truly know why some people look at us as odd. Normal people change their appearances in subtle ways all the time. We are just more open about it.

Is there really a reason for the discrimination? I wish I knew.

There are so many things about normal people that remain closed to me.

Dimension/Universe: I am from this dimension.

Birthplace and Nationality: I am unsure of my nationality. It is not something I have thought about before. After all, the closest thing I have to a hometown, is a test tube.

Abilities: I am able to shapeshift into any form I choose, although I have certain preferred forms, as well as my natural form, the form in which I was created. Due to constantly being able to change my biological age, I will never die of old age unless I will it to be so. I also have control over snow.

Weaknesses: Extreme heat debilitates me, making it more difficult for me to control my abilities. I am also able to be wounded by most any normal means, although shapeshifting can take away the immediate danger of wounds.

Bio: My sister and I were created beings, 'born' in a laboratory and meant to be warriors for the forces of 'good'. I was the eldest, as I was created first. As we grew older, my sister became the darling of our 'family'. Anything she wanted, she received. I was always the one who stayed out of the spotlight, preferring to enjoy my own work in the shadows.

Then things changed.

Something dark began to emerge in my sister. She became frightening and unpredictable, going from sweet and innocent to murderous in only a heartbeat. The blink of an eye. The flash of a camera. The... I'm sorry. I'm getting off-track again.

One night, she challenged my authority and attempted to kill me. I fought her off, proving to her that I was stronger, and from there we continued to grow, the way branches do--sometimes intertwined, sometimes far apart, but always connected.

We were sent to the Academy to try and train our skills, and teach my sister some restraint. I have doubts as to whether or not this method will succeed.

How long they've been at the Academy: We have only just arrived.

Personality: I believe I have made my personality relatively clear throughout this process. However, for your sake, I will go over it again.

I am the elder and stronger twin, both in body and mind. You can expect me to be stable and unlikely to retreat, especially if someone seems insane or otherwise unbalanced.

Reasons for Joining: To hone my abilities and try to mold my sister into a better person.

Additional Notes: I enjoy creating snow sculptures and anything cold. I am afraid of fire and have nightmares about being burned alive. I also fear volcanoes and deserts.

Abilities: I shapeshift. I don't die of old age because shapeshift. I can control ice. I can kill you without any of those abilities.

Weaknesses: Fire. Hot things. Mortality. Et cetera, et cetera. Stop asking me boring questions.

Bio: I was created. Everyone loved me, but life was boring, so I tried to kill my sister. I came to the Academy 'cause Mr. Scientist Jerk wanted to 'reform' me. Soon as I get back I'm ripping his face off.

How long they've been at the Academy: No time at all.

Personality: Isn't it obvious? I'm a bloody psychopath. I change personalities like I do clothing. And I will kill you in a heartbeat if I feel like it.

Reasons for Joining: Not by choice. I'm supposed to get 'reformed'. Not happening.

Additional Notes: I make ice sculptures. I also kill people and animals. I painted a butterfly's wing on my favorite kimono in blood. The other wing is on the wall of my room. So I guess you could say I paint. In blood. Did I mention that I kill people?

Name: Kurosawa Minai

Gender: Female

Appearance: This girl, with these eyes.

Dimension/Universe: ...Earth.

Birthplace and Nationality: Japanese, born in Aoyama.

Abilities: Minai is blind, deaf, and mute, and has been since a young age. (Actually, she was born deaf. The others are... modifications.) As such, she has been given special devices to help her navigate the world around her. Deep within the scarred tissue of her empty eye sockets are implants that transmit images to her mind. Around her throat is a butterfly-shaped necklace that translates her thoughts into a modulation of her voice, since she cannot speak--in fact, she has no tongue.

As for her natural powers, she has telepathic abilities, which are stronger when used with her sister. She has control over scarlet butterflies made of fire and can even transform into one if she so desires. She also has haemokinesis.

Weaknesses: Blind, deaf, and mute. If her necklace is taken away, she loses her ability to 'speak'. She is also afraid of water, having an irrational fear that it will use her implants to electrocute her.

Bio: Minai was born to a prisoner of a now-destroyed society. Genetically altered before birth, she was given her powers and was intended to be used as a warrior of justice. She lived out her first years of life as a prisoner, never seeing other children or even her own mother. On her seventh birthday, however, the people who 'created' her temporarily negated her powers, gouged out her eyes and cut out her tongue, giving her implants to replace her sight and voice. Over the next few years, they submitted her to various forms of torture, intended to harden her and turn her into a remorseless harbinger of doom(for criminals). They conditioned her to obey them.

Until her thirteenth birthday, when she decided she'd had enough. In her eyes, they were criminals as well, and she would not allow them to live. So she killed them, drawing the attention of authorities. Rescued by the Academy, she hopes to learn to shake off the conditioning and be able to live the life she wants.

How long they've been at the Academy: She's new.

Personality: Minai's name means 'do not see'. This is very appropriate, due to the fact that when she was young, the people who 'created' her blinded her and cut out her tongue, providing her with gadgets to replace some of her lost senses. Minai cannot be influenced by sights or sounds, and has no need to be stayed by small talk. She despised the people who made her into who she is, and considered them just as bad as the people she was created to destroy.

Also, she can be very eloquent and existential.

Reasons for Joining: To try and remove the conditioning of her former masters.

Additional Notes: She doesn't have hobbies. She's terrified of water. She doesn't like it when people point out that she's blind, and she really, really hates it when they think bad things about her, as if she couldn't read their minds.

I don't think many of us expect to do anything with a hyper-intelligent pony. I try not to, they seem... creepy.

I like moral nihilism, but only when it is used as a way to devise our own moral codes, rather than to ignore moral questions.
