Buck looks down at Representative Stevenson following him but he does not stop walking at his swift pace.

"The problem that you brought to my attention has been taken care of Representative." Buck says sounding like he is not focusing on the conversation and a little aloof as he keeps walking.

"You can take care of your baseball team now. If you will excuse me I have business to attend to." He says dismissively and keeps going inside.

Kristen cleared her throat, surprised at how brusque he was. "Well, thank you Mr. Vice President." She stopped following him then looked around and sighed. Now she had to get her mind back on how to get her team to bring home the win. She jogged on back to where the heavy bag was and decided that chivalry was definitely dead, then picked it up and started lugging it inside.

Alois who had so far been taking in the scenery surrounding the area, saw Kristen walking with the heavy bag and walked at a swift pace to speak to her.

"I'd like to thank you for resolving that situation, Representative, would you like me to carry that bag for you?" Kramer asked.

She shook her head. "I'm fine." She was actually grateful for the offer, but she'd rather get tired out than have an old man break himself.

"I suppose it is the most ancient of competitions," Amaras admitted, then chuckled, "or perhaps that would be wrestling. I never did that myself, but there's nothing wrong with letting some of that into different sports." He tousled Tommy's hair, then gave a sigh of contentment, looking over the exterior of the park's imposing facade.

"We should start to make our way inside, before the Captain calls us tardy," he suggested, in good humour. "In fact, that looks like her there." He nodded in Stevenson's direction, and stepped the short distance over, assuming Ashe would follow.

"Allow me," he offered-or perhaps insisted, given that he had not asked for permission. He took a grip with a thick hand on the bag, hauling it up over his shoulder with a grunt.

Ashe nodded, listening to Peter's words, before giving a brief chuckle to his joke about being tardy. He looked in the direction of Stevenson as she was mentioned. He took one more look at the parking lot, the entrance of the stadium, the exterior architecture of the stadium itself, and a final look at the secret service agents guarding the entrance. It was only a few seconds, but Amaras had already started walking towards Stevenson by the time he turned back to face them. Ashe walked at a brisk pace to catch up, without it being noticed that he lagged behind a few seconds, and walked alongside Amaras as the two made their way to greet Stevenson.

"....Thanks." Kristen actually needed to talk to Amaras at some point later, but this probably wasn't the best time. She was glad she didn't have to carry the bag, but just taking it seemed more rude that chivalrous. Anyway, she shouldn't complain.

"See you boys inside. Meet up at the dugout" she instructed. She waved Fowler to come in and started on her way herself.

Wilson had followed Stevenson in, hoping to catch up to her to ask a question. When he finally caught up to her, he loudly announced his question.
"You got Kramer on the team? How could you? He helped kill nine people! He should rot in jail. You already lost one player. Do you want to lose two more over letting him play?"

An agent from ahead of him comes up to Buck and falls in step with him to talk. "Sir, just had a radio call in. Senator Fowler wants to speak to you at your earliest convenience before the game."

"Tell the Senator that I am occupied." Buck says and keeps walking.

"You can tell him that he can ask Saga and she may have an answer. If I am available again I will let him know." He adds. Once he is inside he starts looking for the broadcast area.

An agent receives a call in his earpiece and walks up to Senator Fowler.

"Sir could I speak to you for a moment?" He asks.

"You're the captain, you can boot him so far out of here he'd be swimming in the Sea of Japan. He was censured by the Senate in a tripartisan vote."

Kristen had no idea what to make of Wilson. "....No, I can't. I appreciate the confidence but I don't make the rules. All I can do as captain is just put him on the bench all game and that's my plan. I can boot him out of here just as much as you can boot him out of the Republican party.
Sure, great idea, except that's not how it works."

"So go ahead and get him evicted from the senate and that will solve this issue. That's something you can do that I can't. Until you get that done, how about we go and do what we came here for all right?"

"This is the hand we got dealt, and I've had enough of listening to whining about it, makes it sound like the Democratic team out here. At this rate they're going to start pitching to an empty batter's box before we ever get inside. Are you coming, or are we going to spend another hour out here complaining first? Time to get started already."

He cracked a smile when Fowler seemed very serious about not wanting to be in a photo with Kramer. "Nobody said you have to frame the photo and display it on your desk," cracking a joke despite also sharing in the strong dislike of Kramer. Ashe, like Amaras, was just annoyed and tired of hearing the complaining.
