Julian's stomach grumbled. The trek hadn't taken it easy on her-being a below average human and all. She panted hard and sat down on the ground. "What kind of...organic matter? I'd eat anything by now, dirt, rocks..."

"Could you maybe make some meat and/or alcohol? Peter looks rather ghastly." Frederick pointed to the Russian who had passed out on the ground due to vodka deficiency.

"Wait, if Peter's passed out...where did that damn Dr. Hyde go!?" Newton scanned the horizon for Konrad. "Faddle, he's gone!"

Konrad, meanwhile, had slipped from Peter's arm and began his uncertain escape into the wild of N-J.

Two of the old men fell dead thanks to Hex and Strange's attacks; the other four, on the other hand, simply stopped dead in their tracks, their mouths still spewing incoherent words in other languages, till three of them simply keeled over and smashed their heads violently on the ground, leaving only the man with the gigantic sword.

"Speak now", Koizumi demanded, drawing his katana and slicing an arc in the air, producing a whooshing, slashing sound. "What are you?"

"I think some of you know me all too well", said the old man or, rather, whatever it was that was possessing the old man's body. "Those of you who have met me called me the Un-man."

Ceiji's face drained of colour, and she drew her sword, marching up to just beside Koizumi.

"This thing", she cautioned, adopting a defensive stance, "should not be underestimated."

"Hm?"

"This is the thing that killed Henry Saladass."

The Un-man laughed.

"That's right", it gurgled.

"What are you doing here?" Ceiji demanded, holding her sword up and inching closer and closer to the old man, ready to silence it at a moment's notice. "Why have your forces infiltrated this planet?"

"You don't know what I am, do you?" asked the Un-man.

"I don't need to know", Ceiji replied. She stood with the tip of her sabre touching the old man's Adam's apple, ready to end the Un-man's ability to speak. "We're not here to make deals with demons like you."

The Un-man laughed again.

"You fools!" it mocked. "Kubronos isn't just any random world. Kubronos has become my domain. The IGSE and the Chimaera think they're fighting a proxy war for supremacy here, but what they do not know is that I have already claimed this world as my own, long ago. It's become my colony. And you've all walked straight into my mouth-"

Without giving the Un-man any chance to reply, Ceiji lunged forward and impaled the old man straight through the neck, puncturing the Adam's apple, sending dark red, sludgy blood pouring out from both ends, before gracefully slashing diagonally in two directions in almost instantaneous succession, severing the head with relative ease.

The moment the head hit the ground, the door to the room flew open once again, a shower of mist-like rain flying in and drenching the ones who stood at the back of the group. A flash of lightning arced across the greyish-blue sky, and an explosion of thunder resonated through the air.

"We know where Henry and Saul are", said Ceiji, turning and heading straight into the rain, flicking the blood off her sword and wiping the rest with her hand and the rainwater. "We have everything we need."

Hyrule Castle
"Your majesty, we have an imminent problem," Impa said. "Hyrule is under attack. A child rode all the way here. Her horse was nearly spent and she appeared to have ridden through the night."

Zelda reached for her sword. "We are not prepared for war. We still haven't recovered fully from Ganondorf's reign," she said.

"We can do it," Lana assured her, putting her hand on the princess' shoulder.

"Lana, you don't understand," Cia said. "We lost experienced fighters during mine and Ganondorf's attacks on Hyrule. Our troops are inexperienced at best, and experienced fighters are few and far between."

At this moment, Zelda turned to see Lincoln in the throne room. "Who is this?" asked Zelda.

"This is Lincoln," Impa replied, "he came out of one of the soul gates."

"He reminds me of someone. I can't put my finger on it," Cia muttered. "Those eyes are familiar."

"Welcome to Hyrule, Lincoln," Zelda acknowledged. "I hope you come as friend and not foe."

"Because if not," Impa started, brandishing the hilt of her blade, "It would be most unfortunate."

When Reiyo picked up the chicken, it clucked angrily. It clucked particularly loud and dozens of chickens appeared through the field, coming straight towards the trio. They clucked, bit at, and flew in the faces of Reiyo, Konrad, and Exodus.

Ackerman began to kick the door more frantically when the Un-man revealed himself.
"Scheisse, Scheisse SCHEISSE! NEIN!" Xe resorted to charging desperately into the door to bring it down. Xe was not going to face the Un-man. Xe needed to get away right then.

After Ceiji 'killed' the Un-man, though, Ackerman fell out of the room as the doors opened. Uska walked towards Ceiji.

"How? Where is he?"

Ackerman groaned and rubbed xer back. Xe looked up at the sky outside.

".....Henry..."

Daniel gently lowered himself to the ground right next to the fire. He had regained some of his strength during the Trek but not all. Reaching his hand into the fire, he held it there and let the fire ran around his hand before pulling it back out. A small flame stayed at the center of his palm and slowly moved around his hand. "I can make food myself Aestus so I'm fine." said Daniel to the god with a biscuit appearing in his hand out of the flame to prove the point.

Maria on other hand had sat down next to the stream and looked at the reflections of light on the water.

(I thought the kid was male?)

Doug

He was still gawking at the room when he heard someone speak his name.
"Welcome to Hyrule, Lincoln. I hope you come as friend and not foe."
The pilot turned to set his gaze on...
...Is THAT....Yeah...But which one?
Doug actually bowed before the woman.
"Thanks. It's a pleasure to meet you."
He exited the bow and looked towards Impa.
"I'm a friend. I know that my clothes aren't normal, nor the way I talk, but..."
Oh boy, how to tell them...
Doug took a deep breath and spoke to the entire group.
"I'm from over two thousand years from now. My current year is 3412. Where I come from, I'm a fighter pilot - which to you might seem scary, but trust me, If those guys out there have fighters, then, really, only I can deal with them. My ship, the thing that crashed out there in the field, can deal with anything, really."
He showed off the pilot wings (my flag, but golden and on a golden chain).
"My official rank in the Royal Air Squadron is Second Lieutenant. Hyrule goes by Hyrulialus now. And as to my name...Yeah, my first name is Lincoln, but I like to go by 'Doug', most of the time. Other wise..."
He held out his left hand for the rich-dressed woman to shake.
"Lincoln Douglas Forester, at your service."

Hyrulian field

Reiyo dropped the chicken in surprise. "How... Vicious." He remarked.

Then it's friends arrived.

Taylor glared at Konrad. "Now look what you've done." he said as the chicken army approached. "Something told me to! Don't blame me!" Konrad protested, an obvious lie.
Then the chickens were upon them.
Putting their arms up to defend themselves, they started to run towards the village.

Hyrule Castle
"You come from a long ways," Lana said at length. "Cia and I have seen this time during our watch of the Triforce."

"He has the spirit of the Hero," Cia added.

Zelda raised an eyebrow, unsure of why Doug stuck his hand out like that. "Anyone with the Spirit of the Hero is a friend of Hyrule," she announced. "If there are indeed any of these Fighter Pilots, we will surely require your aid."

Impa glared at Doug. "Do they not teach you manners? When you are in the presence of a royal, you bow."

As the trio were chased into the village by the chicken horde, a young girl wearing a green cloak rolled out of bed. She yawned, then opened the door. All her Cuccos were attacking these strangers. She quickly shouted, "Hey, stop!" The cucco horde stopped attacking, and flocked to her. She picked up the cucco that was kicked and gently soothed it. "It's okay. I'm here. Why would you be attacking these poor people?"

Then it hit her. She placed the cucco on the ground before marching over to where the trio were. "How DARE you attack my cuccos?" She pointed directly at them and glared.

Bastion was sitting by the fire, not really doing anything asides from staring up into the sky, looking at the stars. The shouting from Newton shook him back to reality he looked around and said "You're right, where is he?".

Karrakis' stomach rumbled when Aestus mentioned food. "I would appreciate some food, thank you" he said. He also heard newton and looked around trying to figure out where he went.

Doug was wondering why Zelda wasn't shaking his hand.
"What? You don't shake hands here? Okay then...And thanks. I'll do what I can to help."
He lowered his hand and turned to Impa.
"I bowed for like five seconds. Was that not long enough for you? Different customs where I come from."
Doug broke off as the full reality of where he was hit him.
The pilot stepped back from the group and put a hand to his forehead.

Hospital, Cuba, Hours Later

Eric rested quietly in the bed of the hospital, his gunshot wound having been bandaged up by the doctors earlier. He had been resting now for a few hours, as the time stop had drained him of much energy and left him quite fatigued, though now he finally seemed to be waking up. The boy's eyes twitched and he rolled over to one side, then soon after rolled back over onto the side that had the bullet wound which let out some soft pain from being pressed down onto the bed. The Heir then opened his eyes and quickly sat up straight, putting his hand onto the bandaged wound and grunting. He then looked around the hospital room, dazed and confused by his new location; he glanced around the room as he tried to remember how he got there. Ugh, is this..... a hospital? He noticed a few signs on the walls. And everything is in Spanish? Eric scratched the back of his head and rubbed his eyes If only Ann were here right now. She could translate this stuff for me. He paused for a bit, his mind beginning to recollect what got him into this room. Oh shit, Ann!

He remembered the trap, and the battle that happened, and how he hid like a coward when the fight started. Eric felt his heart beat begin to pick up in pace, and he started gasping in and out deeply as fear filled his mind. He remembered what happened to Pobeda, causing his heart to beat faster; the Heir could feel himself shaking from the stress that was now crushing him. He then remembered it, he remembered seeing Ann rush off, how he tried to call for her to stop to no avail, how the blast blew her back and cracked the wall behind her considerably, and how she was unmoving on the ground. "Oh shit." He said aloud, yet quietly. The boy closed his eyes as tears began to well up and roll down his cheeks. "No." He said, his mind full of pain and sorrow. "NO!" Eric shouted out, putting his head in his hands and crying. It's not possible! She has to be alive! He tried to pull himself from the bed, but his body hurt a lot more than he initially thought. He grunted in pain as he forced himself to stand, tears still running profusely down his bright red cheeks; the boy struggled to keep himself standing and stumbled out the door, ignoring a few doctors and nurses who saw him. "Ann? Ann!" He called out, still hyperventilating and shaking, doubled over with his hands on his knees.

Taylor points a thumb at Konrad. "Ask him."
He steps backwards, adjusting his sword. He wished he could put it down, the damm thing was far too big to carry all the time.
Konrad went red, not knowing how to answer.
"It looked like a football." He lied eventually.

Strange felt some pity for bringing a swift end to the old man that he killed, a pity that didn't last long as he remembered that it was because of him and the others that everyone in the city live in such squalor existence. When Koizumi demanded the three remaining elders to speak what came from their voices was something both Strange and Hex wish to have never hear ever again, Hex in particular feeling the cold grip of dread squeezing her voice being as memories of what happened to her on that god forsaken world return to haunt her.

"Why are you here?!" Hex demanded as she rose both her knife and pistol at the creature, like Ceiji moving ever so closely at the creature yet maintaining some good distance away from it. As the creature reveal that it has claim the world as it's own and that the two powers are fighting a war for nothing Ceiji did the smart thing and silence the creature, Hex shot the other two men on the forehead with her gun.

"Let's find Saul and Henry quickly. If what that thing said is true then we need to get out of here as soon as possible." Hex put away her gun and knife. Strange looked at his sling ring, wishing her knew where the location for the two men were so he can take the group to them now.

Nobody needed to find Saul.

Saul had found them.

Visible from the Town Hall's courtyard, standing on a rooftop some distance away, was the necromancer himself, a man who looked like he was in his early seventies, and yet had a ferocious, cruelly muscular body. He stood at least 200cm tall, and as the torrential rain beat down on everything below, his gigantic body cut a powerful, imposing figure. At his feet was another old man, dressed in a simple cardigan and trousers, who appeared to be the prisoner of Saul.

"All those who have sinned by breaking the taboo" he boomed, maniacally, "shall be turned to pillars of salt!"

"Damn", said Koizumi, drawing his sword and flicking it. "We're gonna go capture the guy."

"Are you sure it's safe!?" Zi-xiang yelled, over the sound of the pelting rain.

"Look at him", Koizumi replied. "If he were stronger, he'd have turned us all into pillars of salt by now."

Without so much as a slight bit of hesitation, Anthony had gone off first, drawing his axe and leaping onto the edge of the wall, facing Saul directly and brandishing the Shang Dynasty weapon, followed by Yoichi, drawing both his yoroidōshi daggers and leaping onto the wall, grinning cheekily as he stared Saul down from a crouching position.

"Who are these sinners who dare to face me?" Saul boomed once again. "Shall I turn you both into pillars of salt too?"

"He can't do that", the old man sitting before Saul yelled, across the rain. "Attack him!"

"You old b-"

When the tall and imposing necromancer known as Saul of the Ouroboros finally made his presence known to the group Strange got into a battle stance, Hex seeing Strange's reaction knew that they will not be able to reason with Saul to come with them and bring back Henry; they will have to use less diplomatic means to convince the dark thaumaturge to work with them.

Strange didn't join in the attack as he felt something was wrong. Strange conjured his eldritch whip and with both hands he fired the strands to wrap themselves around the ankles of the three fighters. "It's a trap!" he yelled as he tried to pull the three back. Hex however fired off a few spell eater bullets, as the name implies they were designed to work against magic itself.

"That only applies to the city of Sodom. Long as you don't look back...."

Uska whirled around to see Ackerman at his side, wielding Jontum. "I think you need to pick up on your theology, Saul. You'll meet your David eventually."

"Ackerman, careful. This guy's not easy." Uska pulled out his combat knife in a defensive stance. "We can't attack with impulse."

Ackerman pulled out the gun from xer pants and aimed it at the Necromancer. "You're gonna help us bring back Henry." Xe quietly stated.

Havana

Alex was exhausted. For the past several hours, she had been trying to explain the situation to the staff of the hospital, none of whom were fluent in English. That wouldn't have been a problem had Ann not been unconscious and Sylph taken in for surgery on her knee, but as it stood she had no translator, which was an issue when trying to explain where they had come from, why they were injured, what the grey guy with horns was, and why he and the Korean girl should be kept far away from the others, probably with some extra security. When that had finally gotten sorted out, Alex was approached by an important-looking man she was shocked to learn was the president of Cuba, who was apparently a fan. Thankfully, he also spoke English, so their conversation wasn't as much of a struggle. Once he finally left, after meeting with all the awake heroes and observing the unconscious ones, Alex was finally going to go take a well-deserved nap when she heard Eric crying out in anguish for Ann. Briefly weighing her options, she scolded the small voice that told her to ignore it and go to sleep and ran through the halls to where Eric was.

She found him in the hallway, doubled over with his hands on his knees and very clearly panicking about his wife. Alex immediately rushed over to him, putting her hands on his shoulders and saying, "Hey! Hey, hey, hey, calm down, it'll be alright. Ann's fine. She's still out, but they've got her in bed and the doctors say she'll be okay." Eric looked up at her with red-orange, tear filled eyes and threw his arms around her, a move that Alex reciprocated. This boy really need a hug. After a few moments, Alex broke off the comfort hug and said, "C'mon, I'll take you to her room." She took Eric's hand and led him through the hospital, taking him to the room where Ann was recovering. On the way, a thought struck her, and she wondered how Eric would react when he found out that they had taken Ji-Yeong with them, and that she was also in this hospital. Pushing that thought out of her mind, she decided that that was a conversation best suited for much later, when he was more stable. Then, another thought hit her. Had Eric's eyes been glowing a minute ago? She sneaked a quick look at him to confirm her suspicious, and found that yes, they were. It was faint, but Eric's eyes definitely gave off a sort of flickering, glowing light. Before long, the two reached Ann's room, where she was peacefully sleeping, the only sound being the occasional beep of the heart monitor.

Meanwhile, Joshua was sitting in the waiting room with the rest of the uninjured heroes, flipping through channels on the television there with some difficulty. His fists, which had been heavily bruised during the battle, had been heavily bandaged by one of the nurses, making using the remote a challenge. A few hours ago, he might have been worried for his friends, but the doctors had reported that they were all doing fine and now the waiting was starting to get to him. "How's this show look?" he asked to nobody in particular, stopping on what looked like a crime show. As he didn't speak Spanish, however, he couldn't really be too sure. "And Secesh, I swear if you complain about not being able to understand it one more time I'm throwing you into orbit."

Elsewhere, sequestered off in a mostly empty corner of the hospital, Ji-Yeong slowly opened her eyes to find herself in an unfamiliar, albeit fairly nonthreatening environment. She tried to sit up, but found that rather painful, so she decided to remain in her bed. The girl slowly looked around to see if she could figure out what was going on, when she noticed her cursed former master's former slave Jack and the man she dismembered whose name she couldn't recall standing at the side of her bed. She attempted to open her mouth, maybe to plea for some mercy, but the words didn't come out. Deep down, she knew she didn't deserve any mercy they might be compelled to give her. Instead, all she could hope was that they killed her quickly. It was the only way she could atone for what she'd done. Before she could tell them that, though, the one-armed Russian spoke something she didn't understand, which was repeated in her language by Jack: ["How are you feeling?"]
Yet what force on earth is weaker than the feeble strength of one?

Saul's face, upon hearing Henry's name being spoken, changed instantly.

"You want me to resurrect Henry Saladass?" he boomed, laughing maniacally. "These filthy sinners shall never get what they want. The will of God will prevail over the sodomites who-"

Saul's religious tirade was interrupted rudely, when the old man sitting by his feet suddenly turned around, grabbed the necromancer by the ankle, and pulled forcefully, causing Saul to lose his balance. Screaming, Saul hit the ground on his butt with a thud, before furiously climbing back up and kicking the old man in the belly.

"Yaroslav Andreyevich Zhilin", screamed the Necromancer. "You betray the will of God! Why have you sided with the sodomites instead of-"

It was then that Saul was promptly silenced, as both Yoichi and Anthony leapt across the rooftops, onto the flat roof on which he stood, and slashed him while he was busy kicking the old man whom he'd taken prisoner. As two gashes appeared on his flanks, Saul screamed, covered his face with his hands, and collapsed to his knees in defeat.

"Restrain him!" the old man yelled, over the sound of the rain. "Don't let him regain his senses!"

"Ackerman!" called Anthony, "hurry up!"

Before Saul could recover, as the old man had warned, Yoichi had wrestled the significantly larger man to the ground, wrapping his leg around Saul's neck, while Anthony sat down heavily on the man's chest and, with the bottom of his axe, smashed Saul in the wrists, temporarily paralysing them.

"Have you got rope?"

"Shut up."

Ackerman took some rope from nearby and gave Saul a clean chop to the nape of his neck, which would knock him out in usual circumstances. Xe then began to bind his hands, arms, and feet together with the rope.

"I better make sure to bind his forearms together too, he can break out of wrist cuffs."

When Ackerman was finished, xe stood back.

"What should we do with him now?"

Hyrule Castle
Doug's comment resulted in strange looks from around the room. Just then, a soldier came rushing in. "The child is awake," he announced.

"Bring the child," Impa said.

"My lady, your instructions were to feed him," the soldier replied. "He is eating now."

"I thought it was a girl," Impa said.

"His long hair may have confused you," the soldier replied.

Zelda spoke up. "Have the child brought here with his meal. I want to hear what he witnessed if it is an attack. And bring something for our guest." She nodded to Doug. "He wants his meal pre-cooked. I assume that where he comes from, they eat their food uncooked."
Village
Linkle clenched her fist. She was almost ready to punch Konrad. She didn't know what a football was, but she assumed you kick it around. "You do not kick a Cucco. Ever," she said between clenched teeth.

But then the compass around her neck glowed. A moment later, dozens of slow-moving metallic creatures marched into the village. They ushered a carriage-like metal machine in. From the top of this metal thing, one of the metallic creatures with a yellowish marking stood.

It announced, "This village is under the protection of the Confedaration of Independent States."

"What do you want?" shouted a villager, just before a red light exited through his stomach.

"Your cooperation," said a figure from behind the dead man, "can be voluntary, or coerced." A bald woman came into the light. "You don't want to be coerced. Now, where is the Tri-Force."

Secesh groaned, not because of his injuries, but out of general frustration. He hated having to just sit down and not be able to anything. If not for the general anxiety for saving the world, well, just this world's South, or the anxiety of seeing his lover once more, he was frustrated that he would have to sit down in a waiting lounge of a hospital. Specifically, a Cuban one.

Hearing Joshua's remark, he responded in a polite, mature way.
"Pfft. Not like them Spainards even have anything smart to say, anyways," Secesh remarked with a chuckle.

Following Kylo for another few hours, Dakoolon had a better idea, he knew where Kylo was going, so the former sith emperor in his wrath's body force ran ahead of them, getting to the gate a few minutes afterwards, he got stopped by the guards, but he just waved his hand in front of their faces, using the force, he said, "you will let me pass, and once you do you will forget I have ever existed." Once they opened the gate he passed them and cloaked himself from view by using the force.

Doug

Doug realized what he had said a second too late.
"I'm an idiot..." he muttered before walking over to a lone chair and siting down in it.
The pilot then took note of the servant bringing some sort of bird on a platter.
"What is that?"
The servant grinned.
"They do not have roasted Cucco where you are from?"
Doug took a second to realize.
"....Yeah...Just not prepared like that."
The bird was set down in front of him and the servant then left to tend to other things.
Can't hurt to taste it...Smells really good...Hmmm...What the hell, why not.
Not even five minutes later, the bird was picked clean and Doug was staring up at the ceiling.
"So you think whoever made this would care enough to give me a copy of the recipe?"

N-J
Old Village

Before Neptune found herself being transported by a rift, she was already struggling to find a good gift for her special bud Noire and the others for an upcoming party. The high-tech shiny city of Planeptune offered plenty of stores to get sweet goodies, but the one turn she picked ended up walking into that rift. The worst part now, she is flying from the sky!

“Oh crap, why does this have to happen now?!”

Thankfully, the fall was short lived as she crashed into the ground. She quickly stood up from the fall and explained the surrounding area, noticing she was in a camp of all things. Didn’t seen too out of the ordinary for Neptune, as weird people around here were a group of adventurers to Newton himself. Okay, she weird bits about him before, but why are there cosplayers of historical figures here? This is getting a bit strange now.

“Ahem.” Neptune coughed as she looked at Aestus and the others. “Could Sir Lancelot or anyone else here politely explain where I am right now? I fell out of the sky, and thankfully it didn’t hurt badly.” The last serious fall from the sky for Neptune caused serious head injuries and made her an amnesic, forgetting that she was a Goddess. Good thing Neptune knows who she is now.
