Palace of Nobles, Province of Carolina

The makeshift army of peasants was able to storm through the defenses of the Palace of Nobles with ease once the surrounding defenses had been overrun. The rebels had slaughtered every Nizangar they had encountered, and secured the surrounding area. The highest ranking nobles of the province had hunkered themselves down in the basement, and instead of being killed on sight, they were left alive. Rhett had plans for them, they were going to be made into an example, and into an inspiration.

The five survivors were taken outside to a great podium in front of the house, with Confederate banners being hung and Confederate flags flying, for the symbols of the Confederacy were now the symbols of Carolina. They were shackled and chained, with five men standing behind them, all but one carrying swords. Despite being alive, they had clearly been beaten. They all had bloody bruises, and about half of them had black eyes.

This was to be a monumental day in the history of Carolina, and possibly, the history of the world. A large crowd had gathered outside of podium, and several writers and reporters had come on request to document this historic speech. His next words would determine the future for million of people, and may just end the lives of thousands.

"People of Carolina, you and the others of this world all know that the Nizangar are that of an evil society. They leech off of others, and their so called culture is that of laziness and sadism. The proud people of Carolina have finally risen up under my guidance to crush the grip of those fat cats, but I know that soon, they will claw right back at us. They will bring war to us, and if that's what they want, so be it! The men and women of Carolina will fight until the last soldier for our independence! They will fight for the independence of other territories controlled by the empire, but they themselves must break away on their own. Together, we could form a grand Confederacy, one to rival the grandest nations of all history, with myself as president. We have proven that the Nizangar are not unstoppable, but it is up to the other people of the Empire to make the decision to break away from them," he called out from the stage, before walking over to the five Nizangar prisoners. Their faces were radiating fear, and one of them was even crying. A kick to the face turned salty tears into bloody ones, and Rhett began to speak once more.

"Let this be an example to all of the Nizangar who would dare stand against us. If you leave us alone, you will be left alone, but if you try to attack us, try to oppress us once more, this will happen to you all," Rhett said, looking at one of the journalists in the crowd. Rhett's words and actions were all being recorded for future generations to know of, but also to be sent to the other provinces and protectorates of the Nizangar Empire, along with the Nizangar themselves.

All five of the swordsmen stabbed the five prisoners at once, thrusting their swords into their necks. Their heads remained on their bodies but blood gushed out of them violently, staining the floor beneath him. The crowd cheered as they dragged the bodies off to go desecrate them in horrible ways. Meanwhile, a tired Rhett hopped off the podium and briefly answered the questions of a few reporters and making sure that the people of bordering provinces and as many Nizangar would hear his message.

Rhett's Office, The Former Palace of Nobles

The de facto President of Carolina sat in what was now his office, and pondered his thoughts. In his home state of South Carolina, in the Confederate States of America, he was but a powerless critic who could only pull and tug at the President of the CSA, holding no actual influence. He had grown to become despised, and he was only here now because of a failed attempt to execute him. But now that he was here, here in this Nizangar Empire, things were different. He was able to start anew, and craft a new image for himself. Though he would remain stubborn and arrogant as always, he would be more careful with how he acted around other people, and would certainly try to act charismatic.

Though war seemingly loomed on the horizon, to Rhett, he had won. He was the president, founder, and hero of a new nation, and he would guide the unintelligent peasants that inhabited it with his own invisible hand. Though of course they would be better off and have more representation that what they had under the Nizangar Empire, the democracy they would set up would be a false one. Rhett would make sure that the construction of the government of Carolina would forever be in his favor, guaranteeing that he would rule until death do him part.

"Henry..."

It was as if saying Henry's name out loud pained Samuel, for he winced and brought his hand to his heart, swallowing deeply like one choking back a well of tears overflowing. Briefly, he seemed to lose all awareness of his surroundings and those whom he had invited to his hideout, as his fierce golden eyes went blank, staring out without their gaze fixing on anything in particular.

"They took Henry from me, they did", he murmured, his teeth grinding and gnashing together. The silver-haired woman turned, looking at Ackerman, Yoichi, Anthony, and Zi-xiang, raising a finger to her neck and gesturing to the four to stay back.

"That was the work of the IGSE", Samuel added, becoming more and more agitated with each word that rolled from his tongue. "They're rotten to the core... so when I found their base... their outpost... I killed them all..."

He staggered over to the table, breathing heavily and sweating profusely.

"And I didn't just kill them quickly... I skinned them... I cut out their eyes and their tongues... and their hands and feet... and I made them eat themselves... and left them in the sand... to rot away as their skin hung in ribbons and their entrails dangled from their assholes..."

"I've had enough", Zi-xiang grunted, making in Samuel's general direction. "We need to stop this bullsh-"

"Stand back", snapped the silver-haired young woman, turning her waist to reveal a large flintlock pistol in the sash that went round her waist. "You don't want to get tangled in that."

"And they all died", Samuel went on in bizarre, incongruous eloquence, even more furious than before, his face turning a deeply unsettling shade of crimson and his neck becoming sinewy and gnarled. "They scurried around like blind and limbless dogs and died, except for one man... that one man... who worked under Thero... I cut open his belly... and I snapped his spine... and I made him drown in his own stomach..."

Yoichi gripped his mouth in horror.

"I hate them!!!" he finally screamed, with the ferocity of a wounded tiger, flipping the table over with his viciously muscular arms and collapsing to his knees, gripping the carpet. "I hate them all!!!"

Before the four could see any more, the silver-haired woman gripped Ackerman by the shoulder and firmly brought xer and the others to the door.

"I'm afraid it's not wise for you four to remain-"

"No!" Samuel roared, pointing at the group and climbing to his feet. "Those four will stay right where they are."

As Samuel marched towards them, both Zi-xiang and Yoichi conspicuously readied themselves to fight, while Anthony simply stood relaxed, his one arm resting on the head of his Shang Dynasty bronze axe, his empty yukata sleeve tucked into his belt eerily.

Ackerman had noticed the two men growing agitated at Samuel's rant. But xe knew Samuel, and xe knew that this would happen. Xe put an arm in front of them as they prepared to fight xer former companion.

"You two stay back for now." Ackerman looked back at them with a commanding eye. Uska merely looked on without any apprehension or fear.

Ackerman sighed and calmly but slowly approached Samuel.

"Samuel, I'm sorry. I know you went through so much after Henry died. I know you feel excruciating pain over his disappearance. But still, killing them will not bring Henry back. The only thing that can is going out to look for him."

Ackerman held out xer hand slowly to Samuel.

"What do you need? A shoulder to cry on? Someone to talk to? I could help you."

Quetz smiled with relief, his eyes glittering with gratitude.

The Woods

When Victoria stopped her Marie looked at her, puzzled by the smile and her cryptic response that she has a plan. Yet she never got a chance to ask what she meant by a plan when Rosa healed her through the use of butterflies of all things. No matter how strange the method is the fact that it restored Victoria back to normal was enough to make Marie and Damian overjoyed.

When Victoria told James what was her plan the two were surprised. "Are you crazy sis!? We worked hard to make sure that doesn't happen back in the old time." Damian knew that there might be a chance that Victoria can regenerate but with the blight and abyss being also prevalent back in that timeline he wasn't willing to let his sister expirement on that.

"I don't care if you can regenerate Victoria just please never do that again." she said, lunging forward and hugging Victoria tightly. Glad that her daughter wasn't dying on her.

Samuel's pupils contracted ferociously.

"That's right", he sneered wrathfully, slowly turning to face Ackerman. "It's so, so easy for you to comfort... to mock me!" He spat the final few words out like a snake spewing venom, kicking the leg of the overturned table and, despite being barefoot, smashed the leg straight off, splinters tearing into his foot.

"They didn't just take Henry from me. They took my pride. And-"

"We can help you resurrect Henry", said Zi-xiang, desperately trying to find a way to negotiate with the young man. "We're looking for Saul the alchemist, and..."

"Saul Gorofott? Saul of the Ouroboros?"

Zi-xiang gulped. The mention of Saul's name seemed to warp Samuel's face from that of an angry man to a mask of completely unrecognisable, nonhuman rage.

"How do you know about Saul of the Ouroboros?" Samuel inquired.

"We..." Zi-xiang attempted to answer, but decided not to. That, too, seemed to backfire, for it only made Samuel even more angry, evident from the fact that he swiftly reached for the blade he kept hidden by his side and lunged at Zi-xiang without warning, only to be disarmed by a deceptively gentle strike to the wrist by a mantis claw that struck the nerve squarely.

Without waiting to see what else as going to happen, Zi-xiang grabbed Ackerman by the collar and pushed xer in the general direction of the door, following the other three out.

"Don't just stand there!" Samuel screamed in hysterical fury. "Kill them! Kill them all!"

Greater Kubronos Continent
People's Republic of Khazan (formerly the Kazanium Baronate)

Barely a day after the Confederacy of Carolina declared its independence, yet another state had seceded from the Nizangar Empire, albeit with far less bloodshed than its predecessor.

The Kazanium Baronate, long under the rule of the brutal Tibin Family, was finally overthrown by its own people when, instigated by several fiery orators of myriad ethnic groups, an uprising happened in the capital, Tibin City. A crowd of almost 90,000 people marched upon the Grand Palace of the Baronate, wielding an assortment of farm equipment, most of whom were barely thicker than sticks after years of being worked to death in the fields.

By and large, no blood was shed, for even the official military of the Tibin Family turned against their masters and, without so much as a slight bit of hesitation, massacred the soldiers who reported to the Nizangar Empire.

The Tibin Family, every member of whom was morbidly obese and dressed in silk and pearls from the neck down, was dragged out of their palace and stripped naked by the crowd, whereupon they were tied humiliatingly to St Andrew's crosses and paraded round the streets on a cart, for people to hurl rotten vegetables and spit at.

Much unlike the Confederacy of Carolina under President Robert Rhett or the Ucsa-nizangar Triumvirate under President Biel Bielag, however, the new leader of the People's Republic of Kazanium had a clear idea on what he wanted his newly founded nation was to become, and he knew just who to hire and who to do away with.

Hizorin Saljulierian dzai Tiraingiou
"Norzo"
Supreme Leader of the People's Republic of Kazanium

...

The first Executive Order passed by 37-year-old Supreme Leader Hizorin Saljulierian dzai Tiraingiou, known by his pen name "Norzo", was the release of two political prisoners who had been held in captivity for a total of more than 40 years between the two.

The Kazanium Baronate had not gone unchallenged, that was for sure; its prisons were perpetually filled with the skeletons of men who had attempted to challenge the Tibin Family, people who had subsequently been spirited away from their homes in the dead of night and brought to deep, underground dungeons, where they lived out the rest of their lives, in tight manacles and leg irons every hour of the day, never again seeing the sunlight.

Recognising his own inexperience in government, Norzo, himself a political exile who had come back after being inspired by the double secession of the Ucsa-nizangar Triumvirate and the Carolina Confederacy, had a great desire to recruit the two men whom he had released from prison.

Only one of them answered his call, however.

Armin Hegel, the 88-year-old economist and war strategist who had been famously jailed for 42 years under Baron Yubros Tibin, the final Baron of the millennia-old family, was brought into the office of Norzo by his personal bodyguard, wheeled in in a wheelchair. 42 years of imprisonment had taken its toll on Hegel, who was clearly nearing the end.

"Mr Hegel", said Norzo, bowing deeply to the old man whom he had invited to sit on the couch in his office (the old drawing room of the Baronate's millennia-old palace, which he'd cleared out and refurbished with communist paraphernalia), "I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the great service you have done for our people. Your imprisonment was not in vain, and now that you are free, I seek your aid in establishing a collective state where all men shall live as equals."

Hegel swallowed, clearly with a large amount of difficulty, before motioning for a pen and paper, which Norzo promptly gave to him.

There are several things which must be done.

1. Consolidate your position. There is no way your government will be able to hold on to power, let alone build your ideal society, if you show the people you are weaker than the one you overthrew.

2. Send a message of peace to President Rhett of the Carolina. Do not communicate with President Bielag or the Ucsa-nizangar Triumvirate; I do not believe they can be trusted.

3. Reorganise the military and be prepared to wage war with the Nizangar Empire or even with the other seceded states, if need be.

4. Do not allow Grigori Alexandrov to get away. He does not believe in the same cause as we do. Capture him and silence him at all costs.

The moment the final fullstop fell from his pen upon the paper, Armin Hegel leaned heavily back in his couch, wheezing heavily and dropping his pen on the ground, each breath becoming heavier and heavier, till at last he leaned back and closed his eyes.

...

President Robert Rhett,

It is my pleasure to write to you this day, as the leader of a state that has seceded from the wicked Nizangar Empire on the same day as yours. As Premier of the People's Republic of Khazan, I should like to express, here and now, my utmost desire for peace between our two states.

However, as things stand, there are several matters that first must be addressed.

First of all, we need to set about establishing a military alliance with each other. No doubt, the Nizangar Empire will eventually regain its nerves and attempt to retake the territories it has lost. Likewise, if the Empire were to fall, we should likely have to fight off the remnants. I shall be sending an ambassador to your nation in due course.

Secondly, there is the issue of dissidence. Aside from those pro-imperials who likely plague your system, I would also like to alert you to one Grigori Alexandrov who, while not an ally of the Empire, is an enemy of our state. Should he attempt to enter your borders, I seek your help in arresting him and extraditing him to us.

Thank you for your cooperation. Together, let us build a new society.

Hizorin S. T. Norzo
Premier of the PR Khazan

"Samuel, stop!" Ackerman screamed and tried to run over to restrain him, but was pulled back by Zi-Xiang. Ackerman heard Samuel's command to kill them and kicked the door down immediately.

"Come on guys, I'm sorry about this." Ackerman ran after the rest of the group out of the door, grabbing Zi-Xiang by the writ to make sure we followed along. "Uska, please watch our back."

Uska nodded and looked back to see if any attackers were following them.

"I should have known...he was all alone, and Henry's loss damaged him too much to fix." Ackerman sighed. "I'm sorry, and now we're in danger..."

The Woods

In a sweet emotion sweep of pleasantness, Rosa didn’t notice the pieces of glass and other bits of debris was removed from her body as the butterflies healed her. The staff, although she didn’t properly used it well as intended, worked wonderfully. It was something she desperately needed to focus and that was training, and studying to use the Shining Heart Tiare to its full effect like how her mother did. Rosa quickly stood up and turned her attention to Victoria, which thankfully her mess up still saved Victoria.

Not to mention parts of the woods its and Cascabel… Well… Being himself as he punched the ground. Is he Terry’s tsundere friend?

Rosa hopped right besides Victoria, and found herself deeply confused. “What?” She flatly reacted. Camille hold her breath for the moment, while Blake quietly looked away from the scene. “Regeneration? You mean like becoming a different person altogether like the other Time Lords do it? Why won’t you risk something like that? That’s nuts!”

Things happened so quickly; Through the chaos that erupted in Abakelia's base, Bloodfyre focused only on keeping up with the others. Luckily, Alex regained her abilities, and teleported the entire group to her apartment.

The old knight crashed to the floor, having run out of energy. He closed his one good eye, and held his left hand to his damaged eye.

Finally, I can heal myself, and stop my burdensome condition.

Bloodfyre began the healing process by first opening up the wound again-It would become apparent that he had simply closed skin over the wound, having been unable to actually stop the bleeding. Blood pooled up on the floor, having spilled from his wound. The man began muttering incantations, and his hand began glowing and emitting intense heat, cauterizing his wound.

Bloodfyre gritted his teeth, letting out a deep, guttural grunt of pain, but after a few seconds, it was over. He had cauterized the would where his left eye was missing, and could now focus on regaining his Life Energy.

The man stood back up, desummoning his armor. Now in just his normal clothes, he turned to Alex.
"I apologize for the mess... If you have any cloth, soap, and water, I will clean it as soon as we guarantee our comrades' health."

He then turned to Marcus.
"I also apologize for my performance in battle thus far. I am not as spry as I once was. I now find that trying to do things that I used to be able to do easily causes a refractory period."
I suppose it may be in poor taste to blame my age.

Ty seemed confused when he heard Hanzo speak about becoming a cyborg so negatively.
"Yo, don't let Tadz overheard that." he joked. "You might make him sad."

Gold turned to look at Hanzo, then back to Aicy.
"Oh, no prob... I'd probably do the same thing."

Simon waved to Clarius when she spoke.
"Hello! I don't think we've had much time to formally introduce ourselves. My name is Simon Petrikov."
The blue wizard extended his hand for a handshake.
"It's nice to meet you."

Chase laughed, as he began putting away the Monopoly board.
"That was a nice game. You two were going at it for hours!"

Marguerite, half asleep, jolted awake.
"Huh? Did Kongou win?"

"No." Kongou answered, curtly.
"Wait, what?"
"Yeah, Terrell won."
"I was not very 'lucky'..."

Terrell chuckled, as he helped gather the cards, pieces, and play money.
"Yeah, Monopoly isn't all that skill based."

Konogu stood up, leaving the room. The others seemed confused for a moment, until Kongou came back inside with a large binder.
"The Cornerians have finished their design plans, and have finished the upgrades to my vessel. We may now depart if we so choose."
"Oh, neat. We should wait until Conundrum wakes up, and ask him if he's got any clues that could help, first."
"Understood."

Kongou then established a direct communications channel with Aicy.
"This is Kongou. Please inform me when your captain regains consciousness."

"When you told me he was in a terrible shape I thought you were exaggerating on some details." Strange whispered to Hex. The woman's reply was. "I never exaggerate Strange. I told you nothing but the truth about Samuel's condition." she and Strange watch as the bard raved at the group until he was told of their mission to bring back Henry.

Yet what ended up happening was instead Samuel flipping out and wanting to kill everyone. Strange cast a curse on the bard to make him sick as he fled with everyone to slow down the bard.

The Woods

While her brother and father scolded her, Victoria relished the hug given by her mother. James wanted to say more, much more, but what would have been the point of it? What was done was done, and he hoped that it would never be done again. The Halfblood snarled, then sighed.

"As long as you are alright now" He said along with a soft "thank you" to Rosa. "It looks like everyone is alright. That's a relief. I say it's time we get going"

"Where are we going?" Victoria asked, now free from Marie's embrace.

James turned to his daughter his a wide, excited smile. "To the cabin, of course!"

. . .

The trek back through the woods was brief and easy-made. A feeling of mourning washed over the group as they passed by Jacob's funeral pyre, which was now little more than cinders - perhaps his daughter's name was a sign of what the Halfblood would become. It wasn't long, however, until they reached James and Marie's cabin in the woods. It was a small, idyllic place, and very welcoming.

"Feel free to unwind" James said to the group. "If you need to be taken anywhere, just let Damian or myself know"
What is a sig? A miserable little pile of words! But enough talk!

The Cabin
Cascabel walked up to James immediately. "I need to get home. Could one of you take me back?" He asked them with a hint of impatience. "I would ask Terry over there, but she seems to be out cold and therefore no use to me."

He loathed the idea of asking these two for help-but he really had no other choice. Despite spending a few days with humans by now, and managing to tolerate them, Cascabel didn't feel like loosening up his attitude anytime soon.

Terry had been laid down on a couch in a rather awkward position. Cascabel didn't know what to do any better. Her chest softly rose and sunk, as she was in a deep power nap.

Alex's Apartment

Pobeda stood silently, his back turned to Marcus, his eyes cast to the ground. At first, he didn't move, nor did he speak, and it was plainly obvious that something was wrong. After a second of silence, Pobeda slowly turned around and slowly walked towards Marcus. Once the Troll was right in front of the Seer he slowly lifted his head to look him directly in the eyes, the Mage's eyes were filled with anger and pain. Suddenly there was a loud crack and Marcus was sent sprawling to the floor, Pobeda's arm outstretched and his hand balled into a fist. Pobeda then got down on his knees on top of Marcus' chest and began repeatedly punching the boy in the face.

Kadoor sighed and shook her head in response to Hanzo's statement. "I see......" She thought for a second, unsure of how she could possibly help him with this. "Hmm, well why do you feel this way about this? How exactly is it punishment?"

Woods

Draigo slowly followed the others, wondering what his next move should be. The others were clearly impure in some way, but at the same time they had displayed great bravery in battle, that coupled with the fact that he was completely lost without them was why he would not kill them. I must find a way to return to the Imperium. I feel now I am needed more than ever. When he reached the cabin, the Astartes opted to stay outside as he could not fit within the doorway. He walked to an area nearly and planted his sword blade first into the ground before dropping to one knee; from there he began to pray quietly, seeking guidance from the Emperor.

Reinhardt hoisted his hammer over his shoulder before following Lusamine. When he heard link's words, he said "There is a variety of ways, if we're in the time period I'm from, teleporter, car, plane, spacecraft if said house is a colony on the moon, actually, that one's a bit overboard." he continued "Or horse, foot, or bicycle". When he heard Lusamine tell them to behave, he replied "I follow a knight's code, I won't mess around".

Did I hear him correctly?
Link looked at the fellow Knight besides him as if he were mad.
"Different Tribes use different methods of travel, but the normal ways are by foot, horse, raft or boat, and carriages. My ancestors used a para-glider...And If I am correct...The Slate is a teleporter as well....Meaning"
He gestured to the Slate that was secured in a very old pouch at his side.

Gallifrey

Olisi looked at Jackie with a face of confusion. He didn't know that Sine had those sorts of intentions, but then again, he had never been exposed to romance as a child. Granted, most of his childhood was fighting, and training, and training to do fighting.
"I dun' know what in tarnation you're talking about, but it reckon that you're acting as prickly as a Texan cactus on the day of the Alamo, and your edgy shadow thing should learn to speak English or get out of ma' multiverse!" Olisi responded to Jackie. He wasn't the brightest, uh, thing, around, but he was still acting partly in jest. He was still a murderer, but this Jackie seemed like they had a stick shoved so far up their ass it should've been visible from their mouth.
"I reckon they're both parasites, actually," Olisi added to Sine with a chuckle.

The Base

"You better make sure that Ching-Chong girl don't kill us all," Secesh replied to Ivan, looking at him sternly before turning back to the robot hordes. Antony had attacked several others with his powers, and Secesh had shot a few as well. They followed the others when they escaped, and they ended up in Alex's Apartment as well.

Alex's Apartment

Secesh had noticed that the bizarre, gray person had revived earlier, but had been a bit busy until now.
"I reckon that was stranger than seeing a free black in the ports of Charleston!" Secesh remarked to Pobeda with a chuckle, before walking over to a chair and sitting down. He was a cyborg, but he was still tired, so he collapsed into the chair and had his rifle up against it. He was going to get some rest, and hope that the "Ching-Chong girl" wouldn't kill him.

"Oh, how uncivilized!" Antony called out to Pobeda and Marcus, flying over to the side of them.
"REAL men display their honor in a duel of the wits, and a duel of the blades. This is by no means proper etiquette for defense of one's honor!" He commented.

8:00PM

- Koizumi
- Strange
- Ackerman
- Hex
- Yoichi
- Anthony
- Shōko
- Zi-xiang
- Uska
- Ceiji

Using the money Anthony had won from his fight with Shitfuck (who was more likely than not in a questionable state at that point in time), the party booked themselves a penthouse inn, consisting of a large living room, a bedroom, and a roof area with a small, pitiful herb garden in the corner, several basil and chive plants sprouting feebly from the anaemic soil.

Sunset came at 5:30PM.

As the pale, glowing moon rose slowly above the sprawling, haphazard, slummy city and above the vast expanses of fields, Koizumi, still dressed in a formal suit and tie, quietly sat down in a rattan chair by the balcony, quietly looking out of the window at the mess below.

"Seems like we won't be getting any help from that guy, then", he said to the others, quietly resting his katana across his lap.

Zi-xiang nodded, climbing onto a sofa and lying down, falling asleep the moment his head touched the headrest, his arm dropping down and dangling off the edge of the sofa.

"We leave at dawn tomorrow", said Koizumi, "for the Town Hall."

"Town Hall?"

Koizumi beckoned Ceiji to come over, before pointing up at the top of the hill, barely visible from the periphery of the balcony; at the top of the hill sat a large, shining white tower, the windows of which glowed an unsettling shade of yellow.

"That, up there, is the Town Hall", he explained. "I talked to Yang Chae-moon just now; he told me it's a place where the leaders of the city convene to... well... talk and get nothing done."

"Explains a lot", said Yoichi, rolling his eyes.

"They don't do anything to run the city", Koizumi continued, "but apparently, they know pretty much everything that happens in this city. It'd be good for us to... you know... extort some information from them."

The Wood

Marie would have joined with James and Damian on scolding Victoria and she felt the same emotions as them as well to warrant a similar sentiment but her relief and joy that she was hugging her still living daughter for now has won over any feelings of outrage. When James announce where they were going Damian join with his sister on asking where they were going, Marie knew where he had in mind since the same thought was in her head as well.
------

Once they reached the cabin Marie was glad to know that it was still standing, she was worried that the fire would have destroyed the wooden structure. "I can't believe that small thing survived everything that just happened. You think it would be burnt by the fire but no it's in pristine condition." Damian said with surprise. "Did you cast some protection spells to the building mom?" Marie shook her head.

"No, I never thought of doing that but now that you mention it I may do such that. Just to be on the safe side." Marie walked forward. "Jephet can I have my bags back." the angel gave Marie the bags that he had contain in the pocket dimension he used for storage. "I'm gonna put away the stuff I bought from that bazaar and take a long shower." she turn to her kids.

"You two can do whatever you want in the cabin just don't make a mess." she told the two, her tone now more stern. "Oh Victoria can I see your motorcycle keys for a moment." When the half blood did as she asked Marie quickly snatch them from the younger half blood. "You will get these back once I feel that you won't do something as reckless like that again."

The room they were in was luxurious but when compared to past inn rooms it was nothing special when compared to the other rooms in the past. But Strange however stated that the fake plants in the room were the worst, so bad were they that he wanted to take back every insult he ever hurled at past inns for their fake plants for they tried their best to make the fake plants they have look real, the ones in this inn barely tried.

After everyone rested up and awoke the two were ready. Hex somehow manage to find casual clothing and wore them over her tactical operation suit to better blend in the city. When the two met up with the group they all learned of the plan to go to town hall to get information. "So what is the plan? I like to know that we have some sort of plan before entering town hall." Hex didn't need to say that she wanted to play the role of infiltrator since at this point the group would know that is her element.

James' Cabin

When Cascabell asked if he could be sent home, James nodded. "Sure thing. Just tell me where you're from, and I'll bring you there right away!"

He looked over Cascabell's shoulder and saw Terry unconscious on the ground. "Is she with you?"

Meanwhile, Victoria gave her motorcycle keys to Marie - with slumped shoulders. Even in the past, she knew what her mother was going to do. She rightfully deserved it, too. Why did she have her motorcycle use keys, anyway? She could have implemented one of hundreds of different ways to turn on the vehicle without the need some another device. Eye scanning, facial scanning, a sonic device, anything! It was a shortcoming of design that she would have to remove in the near future.

The Halfblood marched her way to the door of the cabin, but before she entered, she turned to the others and said, "Feel free to make yourselves comfortable in there. After what you've all been through, you deserve it"

The Woods

Camille quickly escape from her shock and disbelief of how Victoria desired to sacrifice herself in false hopes to regenerate. She carefully read the aspects of her aura, and remember the genetic heritage of the girl. She noted that while Victoria shares some talents from her dad, it doesn’t suggest she enough time lord blood to regenerate. Before she can tell the news, everything is leaving and Rosa have not much to say.

Rosa wasn’t sure how to react. Confusion, anger, love, happiness, and joy over what happened to Victoria filled her mind. However, she heard what is up with Cascabel and his desire.

When they arrive at the cabin, Rosa, lost in the dark about who is this Cascabel guy, approached him. “Hey! You’re supposed to be Terry’s friend right? Friends don’t discard and abandon an another friend because they can’t give what you want now. That’s plain wrong!“

Camille sighed. “Terry brings the strangest of friends Rosa. And here I thought you have bizarre and fantasting friends Rosie.” She patted the small girl.

“At least they know the meaning of friendship Camille.” Rosa replied. “By the way, didn't you notice the form you're in?”

Camille check her hair, feeling the long honey blonde pigtails. “Oh dear.” she looked back at the group. They can tell that Camille looked awfully alike to her mother, Serena, with very long twintails, and accompanying blue eyes. One can get confuse with her identify and see her as Serena herself. In the bad future timeline, this wasn’t much of a problem as Serena’s true self showed her age as a midwife and her hair grayed out to the point of being mystical diamond white hair. Yet, in this timeline, mom is still young and they look familiar. “Forgive me for taking this form. I have much to explain, and frankly, not all of us here know each other well. Such is the tragedy of being string along in a wild adventure.”

"Alright, we can either bribe them with money, or I can capture one of them and torture them for information." Ackerman punched xer fists together vigorously. "I learned some 'skills' from the Seven Years' war."

"But what information can they give us? It's not like they know of Henry's whereabouts or anything. Besides, Samuel's still on our tail, I bet. What shall we do about him?" Uska asked.

The Woods
"She's not my friend. She literally took me from my home dimension and made me go on a wacky adventure with her, and the only reason I haven't killed her is that she had my only method of heading home." Cascabel glared at Rosa. "I don't have any qualms about taking her life, so I think it's best for both of us that I leave."

Terry started to stir on the sofa. Cascabel frowned. "I better get going."
