Quarry
As Cynder began to push down the aged wooden gates Elizabeth turn the safety of her gun off and brought her new dagger close, getting in position that made it look as though she knows CQC even though most of her experience with that was just seeing what others know of it and what she saw from media.
Once the gate fell Elizabeth's felt a cold sensation go throughout her body and her hairs stand up, she felt the spirits at the other side just as they moan in pain. As the spirits appeared and fled Elizabeth put away her weapons, knowing that these spirits will not be hostile. "Alright girls, find whatever chalks you can carry and place them on the egg vase and once it's nearly fill we get out of here and leave these spirits alone." Elizabeth told the group, taking out a lighter for better lighting as she look for chalk.
Cynder walked over the broken gate, which proceeded to finally fall apart under her and the others. She then sat in the center and watched as they gathered what she had brought them there for. The quarry was in tarraces, linked by ramps and ladders, some of which were in abysimal condition. A ruined shrine and a few decaying worker's huts were here, and tools were scattered about the ground. A few blocks were ready and some appeared to have been in the process of being moved before the attack. Crumbling stone pillars stood against some of the walls of the quarry, their draconic runes still pulsating with magic despite many generations without maitenence. As she sat, she listened to the sounds inherant to the ruins, but she also heard something else: marching and clinking armor. It was distant, but close enough for her to hear. "We must move quickly, I fear an attack may be eminant."
