Ivara shook her head. "It would be unwise to simply 'appear' there as you suggest, as we'd be disoriented upon arrival. And who knows what chaos we could be dropped into. But, I feel that the transportation of your time is slower than useful. You'd think that for an organization such as this, you'd invest in expedient transport, like VTOLs, or the like. My transportation, while faster, does not have much space for passengers aside from myself." Ivara stroked her chin. "So I suggest a compromise. I, and whomever willing, will act as shock troopers, clearing a beachhead for teleportation. Once clear, I'll give the go-ahead, and you can go through. I'll only be able to bring two others. Three would be pushing it." If the warframe had eyes, a malicious glint would have come to them. "I just have two questions. Do the soldiers of this 'Wilfre' mean anything to you? And how durable are the people coming with me?"

Ulu

Crawford Family Residences

Two hours into the Asano Clan's assault on Alvin Crawford's mansion on Ulu, and the Manju's entire security force lay dead or maimed, body parts and blood strewn across the once immaculate marble floors of the mansion. While Yukimura had easily overpowered and killed Bunuu Vilkostres, who was alone, Sangū had slightly more difficulty eliminating the three Rank III commanders who had been posted to his end of the mansion's entrance. He did have one less arm than Yukimura, after all, on top of a leg injury sustained from his fight with Nevesco.

Nevertheless, Crawford's plan to lay low and keep his identity hidden had, no doubt, backfired terribly, something which the nonagenarian realised once the doors of his bedroom were kicked open by Sangū, who limped in and stood facing the Manju dead on with his katana drawn and glinting in the candlelight of the bedroom.

"So the Reaper of the Japanese Army has come down personally to fight me", Crawford snarled, throwing his revolver aside and taking his Black Viper wand from his sleeve. "Perhaps I'll show you a little bit of what I can do."

Sangū cocked his head and viciously gyrated his katana with his left (and non-dominant hand, so ferocious were his skills), before slashing through the portrait of Crawford and his family hanging on the wall.

Releasing a roar of fury, Crawford raised his wand and fired a rapid-fire series of black energy bolts at the one-eyed, one-armed general, who effortlessly deflected the shots with his katana blade. Ordinarily, the bolts would have melted through the blade, but Sangū was familiar with an old technique that allowed the blade to deflect projectiles without actually touching said projectiles.

Ergo, none of Crawford's black energy bolts could hit Sangū's blade.

Slowly, the general inched closer to Crawford, whirling and flicking the blade effortlessly, driving the old man closer and closer to the wall, much to Crawford's frustration.

Unbeknownst to most, despite the fact that he was once a powerful warrior, Crawford had sat on the seat of the Manju from the shadows for so long that he had become complacent, allowing his three Senju to do the dirty work, while he slowly wasted away, relying on his men and on his wand. His bronchitis certainly didn't help his cause either.

Sangū, on the other hand, was still very much in his prime as a fighter even despite his missing appendages and knee injury. Though he had lost his dominant arm, his prowess was such that he could still drive an opponent like Crawford to the wall with little difficulty.

All these, Crawford realised the moment he hit the window of his bedroom.

"Get away! Get away!"

Crawford attempted feebly to fire more of his black energy bolts at Sangū, but the general, still hobbling from the injury Nevesco had given him during her invasion of Onoue, sliced his blade sideways and took off the old man's sword hand at the wrist in one clean sweep, sending the severed hand, still clutching the wand, skidding across the floor with a gruesome flopping sound and a splatter of blood, accompanied by a scream of horror from Crawford, who sank to his knees and clutched the window sill with his one remaining hand.

"You will not have peace, Takekai Sangū", the Manju screamed. "My spirit will follow you to the ends of the universe and to the depths of hell!"

Ignoring Crawford's threat, Sangū artistically whirled in a circle, slashing through Crawford's throat, sending a gory splatter of blood spraying across the wall and onto the window's panes.

The old man gurgled, blood dribbling from his dry, quivering lips, slumping to the ground and landing on all fours. He violently gasped and wheezed for air, coughing furiously and choking on his own blood, as he feebly crawled across the carpeted floor, drenched in his own blood. Reaching his hand out, Crawford laid his fingers upon his severed right hand, attempting to pry the fingers open so as to take his wand.

"M... mus... ki... k-k-k..."

As Sangū stoically watched, Crawford desperately tried to pry open the fingers of his severed hand, but to no avail. His blood loss had made him weak, and his face was already beginning to turn purple from lack of oxygen.

And he had clutched the wand too tightly. He could not take it back.

And then he fell limp, a gruesome mixture of saliva and foamy blood frothing from his still quivering mouth.

For a moment, Sangū stood there, quietly looking at Crawford's dead body, as the blood on the carpet slowly coagulated and turned a darker shade of yellowish red, the residual blood on his otherwise glimmering blade dripping off slowly. Then he raised the blade, flicked the blood off, and then wiped it one more time with the curtains, before sheathing it and limping out of the room.

...

"Sangū, what have you done? We were supposed to take Crawford alive!"

Sangū ignored Yukimura, keeping his hand on the hilt of his katana as he and his two attendants walked down the stairs, followed by Yukimura, whose face betrayed some amount of displeasure at not being able to take the old man alive.

They went down to the cellar, the doors of which had been locked. Unfazed, Sangū drew his katana and slashed through the gap between the two doors, taking out the lock with a screeching metallic ring, before using his elbow to throw the doors open. Inside the room was a middle aged man and his wife, along with a ten year old girl.

"Is this Crawford's family?"

Sangū didn't acknowledge Yukimura's question. Instead, he reached for the young general's belt, withdrawing the little revolver that he kept hidden.

"What are you doing?"

"No", protested the middle aged man. "Spare us, please!"

"Daddy!" The ten year old girl broke out in hot tears, sobbing profusely as her mother cradled her in her bosom. Sangū was unmoved; he checked the number of bullets in the revolver, before pointing it at the three and firing all eight of the bullets.

The cellar was silenced abruptly.

"What the hell are you doing???" Yukimura screamed at Sangū. The latter stoically placed the smoking revolver back in Yukimura's belt and turned around, walking out of the cellar with his two equally silent attendants following him.

Chimaera Subordinate Headquarters

Declaration of a New Order

"We have received confirmation that Alvin Crawford, Third Manju of the Chimaera, has been killed by General Takekai Sangū of the Asano Clan's military. As such, the Senju Tajurai Revik Ohm shall succeed Alvin Crawford as the Fourth Manju of the Chimaera.

"To fill the two vacancies, Rank I Commander Biel Bielag of Ohm Army shall assume the position of Senju and take command of Nevesco Army, which shall henceforth be known as Bielag Army. In addition, Rank I Commander Sugou Tenti Gies Byeujce of Aruen Army shall also assume the position of Senju and take command of Ohm Army, which shall henceforth be known as Sugou Army."

...

???

"Lord Sugou! What are your first orders?"

As the two attendants entered Sugou's office, both clutching notebooks ready to jot down the newly appointed Senju's first orders, the tall, slightly hunched over man turned around, facing both of the men with his wild, emerald green eyes. Looking on in horror, the two men watched fearfully as Sugou opened his mouth, revealing nothing but a set of rotting teeth.

And maggots. A gruesome sea of maggots, festering in his gangrenous oral cavity.

"Orders, you say."

Sugou snarled, opening the drawer of his desk and reaching his hand in. He fumbled about, before withdrawing his hand, in which sat a leech. As his two men watched, neither daring to say a word, the Senju brought the leech to his face, just below his left eye, before coaxing the worm to lodge itself to his cheek, which it promptly did, before proceeding to suck on Sugou's blood.

"Mobilise all the troops in the Sugou Army", he gurgled, as two stray maggots fell from his mouth and landed on the floor, where they writhed about viciously in a manner that seemed completely uncanny (and nothing like normal maggots). "We shall gear up for war."

???

"And now, we see the President of our great Garggan Republic humbly entering his palace in celebration of his triumph."

Biel Bielag the Defenestrator took his appointment as Senju with a massive and gruesome party.

As he hobbled into his courtyard on his peg leg, clutching a thick walking stick in his other hand so as to lean himself onto his good leg, the chinless, scarred, balding, bespectacled man in the navy blue suit laughed sadistically, each wooden thud and organic stamp bringing him across the red carpet which had been laid out across the floor. The crowds that had been gathered cheered the man on as he made his way to the podium.

"Also, look at this; all those who foolishly opposed the President have been crucified as punishment for their heinous crimes."

From the fifty windows of the palace which overlooked the courtyard hung giant wooden crosses, on which fifty people had been crucified upside down. Some had already died of blood loss and asphyxiation, but others were still sobbing and crying, pleading for mercy and clemency, attempting to escape their already-sealed fate at the hands of The Defenestrator. Most were adults, but some were as young as twelve.

Biel Bielag hobbled on, accompanied by his men. The light of the sun reflected cruelly off his pince-nez glasses, as the scarred man lowered his head and chuckled wickedly to himself.

"All hail Bielag!!!"

"What orders for now, Lord Manju?"

Ohm, the new Manju of the Chimaera, had skipped all the formalities just like his predecessor, the only difference this time being that he did not attempt to hide his identity, unlike the late Alvin Crawford.

All he did was give a simple order.

"All troops will be mobilised immediately", he said. "We're going after the Shinohoshi-SWX blueprints in the Manichean Plane."

Aperture Science, Above-Ground Complex

And so stood nine mercenaries, waiting patiently at the door. Soldier was knocking on it to see if anybody was there. "Maggots must not be in... We'll slip a note under the door!" He said, only to realise he didn't have a pen or paper. "Oh... We can't... We don't have paper.... Or a pen..." The Soldier sighed and scratched his head... Well he would have if he wasn't wearing a helmet.

"I have idea!" Heavy shouted. "Why the hell didn't you say so before?! Get on with it!" Soldier screeched at the russian. "Alright, alright..." Heavy walked over to a deer and cracked it's head open, he proceeded to dip his finger in it's blood and write "WE'RE COMING FOR YOU" on the door.

"Doesn't zhat seem a bit violent, comrade?" Medic asked Heavy. "Nonsense!" Heavy replied.

And so the mercenaries began their journey back to headquarters... Except for they didn't know the way...

Alex looked at the robot and frowned. "We teleport into situations like this all the time, and it always works for us. Well, not quite like this, but still some pretty hairy places." "Ve also have practice," Ivan reminded her, "Vhile these have never teleported before. I agree vith robot, it vould be vise to establish secure area before bringing in everybody. Is safest option." "Safety being relative here," Marcus muttered. "The future agrees with Ivan. In timelines where we all go now, less of us survive than when most of us go later."

Alex sighed, defeated. "Okay," she said. "You take your shock force, and we'll keep an eye on you from here with my GPS. When it's safe for the rest of us to arrive, signal or something and we'll appear. Who's gonna go with?" "I'll go!" Ann said excitedly. "You sure, Ann?" Alex asked. "It's gonna dangerous." "Yep! I'll be fine, I have my air powers and super-healing!" Alex looked over the other heroes. "She is probably best choice," Ivan admitted. "Yeah," Marcus agreed. "High mobility, damage, durability... certainly the best out of us. I mean, no offense to the rest of us, but only she and Josh have offensive powers and I kinda doubt the spaceships are going to fly low enough to be punched out." "I hate it when they fly." Joshua growled to himself. "Yeah, I guess.' Alex said. She looked back at the others and said, "Well, you've got one. Who else wants to go?" "By the way," Marcus added, "Robo-guy. Mind giving us a name now? I'm not picky if it's yours or not, I just don't want to keep calling you robo-guy. It's stupid."

Tallon IV,
The Cradle

Danger, subzero temperatures detected. Recommend immediate elimination of the lifeform.

The AI within his armor spoke up. He used his brain-to-computer interface chip to communicate with it, telling it to be patient.

You are immortal, not invulnerable.

It replied. Again, he responded, this time telling it that he was perfectly capable of handling this situation.

15 seconds until thawing process is complete. Warning - enemy weapon is preparing to fire.

Jeremie was fully aware of the weapon being raised, as he could see it through his senses and the sensory net. It was nice of the AI to warn him, though. When the weak blast left his faceplate uncovered by ice, he spoke again.

”There’s simply no reason to attack an explorer.” He said, wondering if the woman had any idea where he had come from. Within a few moments the ice had melted down, and he deployed his gold and red shield. Next, he gave a command to turn on a separate, but similar defensive system.

”Activate the energy shield.” He told the female voice.

”Let me put it simply. I come from another universe. You cannot get there easily, however. Only I carry the technology to access the specific frequencies in the interuniversal gate.” He said, deciding it was best not to tell Samus that he planned on having a defense force sent here, that he was Charlemagne, or really anything that actually mattered, or anything her thankfully human brain had any questions about.

”Now, please. Let us not fight.” He said, peering from behind his shield. Right now, peace was the only option. He knew nothing about this universe. While he did know that other universes existed thanks to probes sent through the PFT-operated gates, that wasn’t enough to make any decisions. To make such decisions, he would have to better understand the socio-political makeup of this universe and a number of other factors.

”Perhaps, we can even be allies. I will need them in my mission. You understand the importance of one’s mission, yes?”

((OOC: It is actually very difficult to access his universe, and to get out of it. The technology to do so only currently resides within his universe, and they are about to build gates on the ‘exits’, which they will then send a force to defend in this other universe. The gates will be controlled from their universe, or by those granted access, thus granting his nation complete control over them :3 I mean, until someone sieges a location))
Depression kind of goes along with not being liked, especially when you ask for help, and don't get it. Remember that, okay? There are people who need someone, even if in a small way. Don't avoid them because of a misunderstanding, them having a bad day, and definitely not because everyone else does it. Even if it's just a fifteen minute conversation about nothing, it might help.

And it isn't an eldridch abomination, I know that much, its much older, it says its the primordial god of darkness. And i'm inclined to agree with it. As for why I didn't tell you before she figured it out, it wouldn't let me." Jackie explained. Then he explained to Chell, "Its a primordial god, it has a habit of breaking the laws of physics, ak creating a singularity or forcing people to explode from the inside out."

Eigenpower immediately made the light orb disappear into her hand again, upon hearing this.
"Sorry about that. You didn't get hurt too much, didn't you?"
"Primiordial God, breaking the laws of physics....isn't that the same as an eldritch abomination?" Possibility asked.

"Eh, I also have to be exposed to it for a while, kind of like a vampire. And the classic ones, not those sparkling things. And as for the eldritch thing, I'm thinking that the diffrences between them and primordial gods is that the abominations can reality warp. From what I understand about primordial gods, they can only control their element to that extent, and somewhat others, but not their opposites. I'm most likely wrong though." Jackie explained

"Nah, I think your explanation is right. Primordial Gods are very similar to Eldritch Abominations, except they can't warp the laws of reality. Yeah, it makes sense." Possibility nodded thoughtfully. "...Wait...but...the Darkness can transfer its presence to the bodies of others, right? What if we coaxed it out of Jackie and into someone else?"

Tallon IV
The Cradle

When Jeremie broke out of the ice, Samus took a step back in shock.

'What? How did he thaw so quickly?'

She's only seen creatures with body temperatures of hundreds of degrees thaw that fast, but fortunately for her, those few moments in the coolor was enough to convince Jeremie to talk.

"Another universe?" She's seen some strange and bizarre things in her adventures, but this took the cake. She didn't show her surprise, though; she sounded completely nonchalant. "Now, was that so hard?"

Jeremie asking about the importance of a mission resonated within the huntres. Samus believed that the mission was very important, especially who you got it from. But beggars can't be choosers, and she doubted that Jeremie was going to give any more information. Still, there was an opening for one last question.

"Mind if I ask what your mission is? If you're looking for an ally, it's good to know what she's getting into" Samus walked forward, placing her hand at her waist. "For a price, at least"

Palace of Broken Glass

"Turns corruption into purity? If my former self had that, I would've been unstoppable" James said, his eyes listing towards the cloak. If it made demons sick, he had to make sure that Marie won't be in any danger. "Are you feeling alright- Hey! Tentacles off!"

The halfblood suddenly felt himself being pulled away as Zalgo appeared on the throne! Despite the choice words that the monster had for the Slenderman, James was surprised for the lack of words for himself. After all, he did kill Zalgo, so maybe he'd be a bit worried about him?

But they couldn't really do anything to him at the moment, so James let himself and Marie be dragged out of the palace.

"So, um, what's your plan now, Mr. Tentacles?"
What is a sig? A miserable little pile of words! But enough talk!
Have at you!

Tallon IV
The Cradle

Jeremie raised his left brow at her reaction to his ease of breaking out of ice, and the thought she had. Apparently her exoskeleton didn’t possess extreme thermoregulation measures. That made him smile behind his faceplate because he knew then that despite the highly sophisticated power armor worn by the woman, whom he knew had the name ‘Samus’ from her thoughts, there were areas where they were still more sophisticated.

”It wasn’t hard because that information, while relevant, was not of extremely high classification. I also sensed no threat in revealing it to you.” He said as his AI argued with him in his mind about having revealed that. Jeremie let his shield retract, though his energy shield stayed afloat. He wondered if she thought he was a 7 foot plus tall human, or even an alien, but that could be figured out later.

”My mission is exploration and discovery, to bring advanced technologies to my people, to form alliances, and to maintain control over entry and exit to our universe, on a multiversal scale. I hope you understand the strategic importance of those things to a nation. What did you mean by price? Are you a mercenary?” He asked, knowing not to give her too much information, or to tell her that he had been scanning her thoughts this entire time.

"That's... actually pretty close. From what I've been told by both the darkness and my great-great grandfather, once someone brings it into their bloodline, the darkness will pass onto the child that was conceived, killing the previous host, and making the darkness more powerful beause each host, according to it, is more and more accustomed to it, letting said host use more of its power without tearing the host apart." Jackie explained. "It is also dormant until the host's 21st birthday, where at midnight, the host dies through some tragic accident, and the darkness resurrects them. At least that happened to me. Hell I blew my brains out in a church orphanage, and it rebuilt my body. Then I got completely incenerated, leaving only my jawbone, it still rebuilt my body."

Palace of tortured glass

"From what I've read in the library, the natural vast corruption of this place the thing that's keeping us from teleporting back into the multiverse. While the walls kept Zalgo out, them falling and the vast corruption of this plae mde it easy for him to get back in. So if I engage him in battle and force him to absorb the corruption enough, you guys can get back." Slenderman projected into their minds. As he turned a few hallways nd stopped, dropping them to the ground. "Keep trying once you start to hear fighting, this is Zalgo's domain so he'll have the advantage and I may not be able to buy much time." At that he began to walk back towards Zalgo, who began to look for him. Zalgo didn't really care about James, sure he killed him, but that was mostly his fault for being so cocky, and going in blind.

"HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! So the operator has actually showed himself, I must thank you for not making me look for you, but that doesn't mean i'll grant you a quick death." Zalgo laughed as slenderman reappeared. With those words, tendrils met tendrils, shockwaves going off in every direction when they hit echother. However unlike last time in the under realm, Zalgo's tendrils were pushing slenderman's back. So slenderman put more pressure into his, while pushing static into Zalgo's mind. Grunting, Zalgo started absorbing the corruption around him to alleviate the static in his mind, also alleviating the corruption that was keeping the two half-bloods from the multiverse.

"Woah...that is some sick shit." Possibility now sounded mildly surprised, which was extremely rare. "I have never seen or heard of something rebuilding a body from just a jawbone...except Deadpool. We might have some serious shit on our hands then. So this darkness is near-invincible, can regenerate whenever it wishes, and immortal."

"Yeah, the only one that I've seen stand a chance against the darkness is its polar opposite, the ngelus, or the primordial being of light. Sadly the last time I saw her, she possessed my dead girlfriend, repaired her body, and tried to kill me." Jackie sighed. "Well, there's also the Hulk, which the darkness has no effect on, but, well, he's the hulk so if we go that route, i'm more than likely going to die. Fuck, the darkness effects Superman so HE'S not a viable option."

"OH COME ON!" Jackie yelled.
