Vriska sighed, and threw their head back, hair whipping around a bit before settling again, and they pulled their hood up in the pouring rain, slowly flowing into the Underground ruins.
"Powerful entity? Come on. It was almost definitely John Egbert, that time-travelling son of a 8itch. He's anything but powerful... Well, he is really, really powerful, he just doesn't know how to use it properly. 8ut considering how dangerous this particular "prank" of his was, I'm pretty sure that it wasn't him, and if it was, then it was for a very important reason."
Vriska snapped their fingers, a thin trickle of light moving from Elizabeth's cigarette flowing to their fingers and swirling around before dispersing, a thin ring of evanescent light quickly fading away. At the same time, Elizabeth's cigarette just happened to suddenly go out due to a freak gust of wind, flinging a larger-than-normal raindrop right onto the burning tip.
"Don't smoke. It gives you Karkat. Karkat is cancer. You're a human so I'm guessing you know about The Zodiac?"
Vriska noticed the annoyed, and slightly amused look Elizabeth was giving them.
"Yeah, luck powers. They're useful for party tricks 8ut not much else."
"Hey, don't worry a8out Terezi. They can handle themselves pro8a8ly way 8etter than I can. Oh, and a8out heading to those temples, I'd really appreciate getting told what's going on so I can maybe have a vague idea of why I'm here."
"Whatever. Let's head to the markets or something. We can walk and talk, yeah? Unless you're so mentally retarded you can't even speak while moving your legs in the most predicta8le fucking pattern..."
Terezi meanwhile, simply grumbled at Cynder, and walked away, waving their hand behind them.
"YOU'R3 NO FUN. 1 THOUGHT DR4GONS WOULD B3 COOL3R, BUT M4YB3 TH4T'S JUST 4LT3RN14N DR4GONS."
"Listen foreigners....whatever world you comefrom....forget all your rules. They don't apply in the Dragon Realms. Here we respect our dead, not intentionally antagonise their spirits. The Underground City is a graveyard for many of those who were killed by Malefor. If you value your lives, you will respect the sacredness of this place and the dead who rest here. The lady is right though...If a smaller creature gets annoying enough, I will eat them alive. Behind you is Warfang, seat of our government and primary bastion of our civilization. South of that is Avalar, homeland of the Cheetah tribals. South of that is Tall Plains, a mountain jungle home to the Atlowa, another somewhat civilized people. Beyond that is a valley and the Mountain of Malefor, housing his ruined fortress and the Well of Souls. We will be gathering supplies and I'll be taking these two to the a temple in Tall Plains. You may come, but do not interfere or I'll toss you lot in Convexity."
