His weapon of choice is a tiny needle, which he dips in poison and kills people with, by pricking them in the veins. He can also use it to do sword fighting (how, nobody can quite describe).

He is incapable of saying anything except the phrase "Xue Ye Jin Bu" (學業進步 / 学业进步), which means "May you improve in your studies". His interpreter is able to tell exactly what he wants to say simply by listening to the tone, speed, and timbre of his voice when he says the phrase, helping to translate his speech for clients.

One was Chinese, and another, English. Her english name was Bertha.

Ackerman looks mixed white/Asian, xe is 6'0", Xe wears xer long dark hair in a 'Prussian braid', and dresses in a long black coat, jeans, and boots usually.

No, I mean Jacob being somewhat of an all-loving selfless hero and being super strong, but I guess he does have flaws to balance that out.

Clairus, she's a nice girl with a tragic past and pretty attractive, giving her some sue points. But she's not really a sue, as she also is very believable as a character.
