Current alliances are:

Global Aegis Federation - French Union, Japanese Junta, United States of America, and Kingdom of Italy
Shanghai Pact - Asian Coalition and Soviet Union
Alliance of Non-Aligned States - Slavic Union, Caribbean League, South European Union, Ottoman Republic
International State Allied Forces - Nordic Treaty

The alliances are ordered by military power according to the IE, the GAF and SP are extremely close and are basically dancing for the top spot. the ANAN is a bit farther behind, but is still significant. the ISAF barely has a military to speak of. You can see the territories on the document. The French Union is almost done with the UK, the Japanese Junta is winning Indonesia, the Asian Coalition is at a stand-still in India, the Slavs are winning in Ukraine, the Caribbean League is fighting Venezuela for control of Panama.

Remind me, how does annexing a country work? Do we like invade, or can it occur through peaceful matters (if so, how)?

I would just like to note that you cannot go to war with a player for no reason other then to conquer. The same rules apply with unclaimed countries, but they can be declared on to conquer. Entitaria, the International Entity (IE) roleplays as everything not claimed. She does surrendering, terrorist attacks, revolutions, civil wars, etc.

Oman is basically carrying Yemen, but Yemen has a much larger population, and is poorly economically developed. You should focus on economy before invading such a large African nation.
