Atrilan has convinced me to not set the world on fire, but to spread the gasoline. The difficulties will begin to take place, but not at complete hell (except for a few things which will happen). Also... I'm holding off the disease thing until later, I'll keep that for a rainy day.

Galcia joining Portugal seems good. However, I think Basque rejoining Spain is the most likely event. Ireland is already not liking the Unitary Empire's "protection" being that I honestly couldn't care less about Ireland for a long time.

I will, they've been annexed, not puppeted like Spain. However, they are pseudo-independent like France, Benelux, Germany, England, and Scotland are separate nations all unified under one flag, with each individual nation having absolutely no control within the others. My union is actually a pretty good setup, each nation has very good autonomy.

Andorra was annexed, both 2/3 of their head of states are now in the United Republic. Monaco is just sitting there with their casinos and Lichtenstein is turning into a mighty Empire which will conquer the world, no spoilers.
