Could be like solomon in that Vic 2 mod. We could have it set during the beginning of the outbreak, during it, or in the post apocalyptic aftermath, where the remnants of countries are starting to recolonize (since the zombies have all decayed and rotted away to the point where they are no longer a threat)

Zombies. There's not as much prolonged action with a meteor event, almost all of it is just dealing with the aftermath. Zombies are more badass.

What if it's a result of the Scramble for Africa. Let's say some zombies are found deep in the jungle, are brought to a world's fair to show off, where many inadvertently get infected, but they don't turn for 72 hours, then BAM, it spreads like wildfire and nations are dropping.
