Fixed it (I hope) The Eyes can now only tell that someone's in the area (12 meters) not their intent or their actions.

See, Edwyn uses Plate Armor in battle whenever he is actually in the thick of it, but he almost never uses anything heavier than chainmail with a helmet in Duels. Kinda ruins the point of having a sword enchanted so that it is really easy to swing around like a twig.

Even the sharpest knife will just damage the surface of a loaf of bread, glancing blows will still be bad for the Armor, but they will still glance away from the actual person, while more direct blows will still deal some nice damage. Savvy?

Ultimately, it's ten times easier to kill the guy with blunt trauma by caving the armour in than trying to open the canned knight. Not to mention that the sword's blade would more likely bounce off unless it's held hand-and-half style and used for penetration.

Usually I'm the one who generates 3-4 pages and I have experienced 5-6 pages while writing an IC response for my Aggathis RP. It's all part of the job though.

You know guys. Think about it like this. Which knife will spread butter better? The butter knife. If you try to use a sharp cutting knife you will have results, but reduced results. Basically, certain equipment will be better with and/or against certain things. More efficient per se.

Back to seriousness, yes, that's why it's a knock the tank down and use a dagger to slit/pierce him.
