"You two doing OK back there?" the driver of one of the armored vehicles asked. He asked constantly, to make sure the two leaders were secure.

"I'm alright," Erdogan said. He looked over at Assad. "You?"

Assad didn't really respond. His eyes opened, and he looked at Erdogan.

"I asked you a question."

"I'm fine. Leave me alone."

Erdogan figured he wouldn't bother Assad any further, and looked out the window. There was absolutely nothing but sand all around them. He also looked at the sky, checking for jets--of any kind. He was sure the Americans, or some other NATO country, would attack them sooner or later, and he wanted to get this done and over with.

After another hour of driving, they hadn't seen anything, and both leaders were asleep, until the driver yelled, "Wake up, both of you!"

Assad jolted up first. "What? What's going on?"

"ISIS convoy, up ahead! They have RPGs!"

"What's your plan?" Erdogan said.

"Everyone with a gun is going to start shooting at them! We're not stopping!"

"I haven't exactly used a gun before," Erdogan muttered.

"It's simple: aim, pull trigger, Your Excellency!"

"I knew that part!" Erdogan put the gun in his shoulder, attempting to take aim at one of the ISIS men holding an RPG. Fire from the Turkish soldiers was already ripping apart vehicles in the ISIS convoy, and now that the terrorists were aware of them, they began firing back.

An owl was perched on a branch above the creek, not too far from him. It looked at him, and did nothing.

"Not much wisdom from you tonight? No advice? Surely not. A wise creature doesn't engage in politics," Garestaer muttered. "I have nothing to lose and nothing to gain."

Hello to our viewers across America and the world, welcome to the Mortelli File. I'm your host, Meg Mortelli.

Tonight we have Rhode Island Senator and Republican Candidate, Senator Matteos Egazarian. Hello Senator

Hello Meg, and thank you for having me here!

Senator, these past two weeks have been testing you, starting with the Kisergate Scandal, Stance on ISIS, and overall Credibility. The South Carolina Primary is tonight and we have heard that the Scandal is still greatly affecting voters. Do you have anything to say about that?

Well Meg, I am quite sad that many voters put this 'scandal' in front of the nation's troubles. I proved that Governor Kiser is innocent and that the media, well liberal media, has twisted it around. I showed that he only had good intentions, intentions in favor of the people's wills, but news outlets and many candidates are still attacking me and Kiser for it. Senator Gonzalez, for example, has not only sided with he Left on this issue and demonizes me for it, but has even twisted my own words around and makes it look like I am for the secession of Texas! The media and my competitors attack me because of this endorsement because they have nothing else substantial to use against me. They know that I have the plans to fix America, they know that I love this country, but they want to distract the people and make me look unpatriotic and stupid.

Speaking on fixing America, the House just passed a bill declaring war on ISIS. A bill endorsed by President Winston and a bill that will soon be going into your lap in the Senate. What is your opinion on the bill?

Well, I think it's the first step to defeating ISIS. I have long supported sending troops into Iraq and Syria and have publicly endorsed the idea. Though, I believe that the bill is flawed in it's dealings with Assad and regional allies. Whether you like Assad or not, if we do not make peace with him and stop funding the FSA, then we cannot defeat ISIS. It's that simple. The enemy of my enemy is my friend and because ISIS has strong holdings in Syria, we must have Assad let us into his country and we cannot do that unless there is cooperation between the two countries.

So would you say that you support the bill and will vote in favor of it in the Senate?

Well Meg, I will do my best to shape it and mold it as best I can to ensure that Assad will be in power and that there will be regional cooperation. But ultimately, yes, I will most likely support the bill.

Interesting. Moving on, Senator, polls in South Carolina and Nevada show that you doing very well in both states. How do you see this reflect on your self-described populist policies?

I believe that the American lower and middle classes are starting to wake up. I am a man for the people and my policies are for them. My policies are meant to build up the middle class, help the lower class, and make the higher class and 1% more comfortable in terms of their current tax rates. My plans are for the people, and are proven to help them. The American public, especially those who live under Liberal-Democratic rule, are realizing that Progressive plans don't work and that the only answer is Common Sense Conservative plans. And guess what, I am the man with the plan. Meg, Populism in America is on the rise. We can see this in the primaries, the polls, and soon the general election.
