We are going to consolidate the coal plants we have right now, and use clean coal technology to reduce emissions, and stop the net creation of new coal power plants. During this time I expect solar energy and other renewables to take off. Later when green tech is ready to shoulder the load we are going to give these workers free job training programs so that they transition cleanly into green power, which creates even more jobs than coal."
