What a fucktard this guy is! He doesn't even know half of my tax plan nor my fiscal stability plan which I have yet to release. It's a killer.
*he still continued to laugh*

Born in Burlington, Vermont to a family of poor diary farmers Danders, was form a young age active politically, volunteering for the Vermont Progressive party in Burlington, Vermont. During that time as a volunteer HE was mentored by an old self described democratic socialist, who later went on to become a senator. After the age of 18 Danders, studied law at Harvard University, however the huge debt that he was forced to take on was large enough for him to get inspired to run for politics with the message of controlling student debt. Elected to the Vermont State House, at the age of 26 after defeating an unpopular Democratic incumbent, in one of the largest upsets in Vermont history. Although, seen as a moderate by the Vermont Progressive Party, Danders was seen as a left wing fringe candidate by the Democrats, and apart from the few progressive allies Danders had, he was mostly alone in the State House, with both the Republicans and Democrats determined on ostracizing him. During his time in the State House Danders was able to push through numerous legislation, and start to gain more allies. The most famous of these were measures allowing the Vermont government unprecedented power to protect the environment, and the creation of affordable housing in the state. At the age of 32 Danders announced his bid as Governor of Vermont. Although, the campaign was scoffed at by pundits, and it was widely expected that the unpopular incumbent would win, due to the Republican candidate being even more unpopular. However, Danders rode a wave of populism, promising the people ambitious projects, such as a large wind farm, to come in second place, and prevent any person from gaining a majority of the vote. Through a backroom deal made with the Republicans, with Danders promising not to raise taxes for his first 2 year term in office, which the incumbent promised to do, and with the help of his progressive allies, Danders was able to win a majority of the House votes, defeating the incumbent. Once in power, Danders passed unprecedented amount of legislation for his first time in office, including marijuana decriminalization, softer prison sentences, and an omnibus bill that completely overhauled the mental health program in the state.
Celebrated as a true progressive, Danders won the Democratic nomination for governor 2 years later, and easily defeated the Republican challenger, with over 60 percent of the vote. During his second term, Danders raised state taxes on large corporations, and implemented an extension on the affordable care act, for adults over the age of 50 healthcare costs plummeted, the healthcare coverage was termed "Dandycare", and conservative Republicans challenged the decision, and the case was brought all the way up to the supreme court, where in a controversial 5-4 ruling, the judges declared that Vermont was able to pass the act. The court case was seen as a victory for Progressives across the country. Throughout his second term, the governor lowered income taxes 2 times, across the board, and passed a balance budget in every year. Returning to office with a similar percentage in his second run, his third term was marked by partisan fights with the Republicans in the legislature. The fights became bitterly partisan, and made Danders hated by the Republicans across the country, but bolstered his popularity with Democrats, and due to him being seen as genuine, helped him among independents.
