"Egazarian called Eberhardt's secretary to speak about a possible meeting." Or something like that. If he is a Representative, you could just go with "Egazarian pulled Eberhardt aside after a House session."

I think it's unfair, thats something very significant you should've definitely mentioned in your bio. Zelent put it in his at least, you basically thought of it while on the campaign trail.

Character State of Origin: Mississippi (officialy, is actually an illegal immigrant from Angola)
Character Affiliation (Democrat, Republican or Non-Aligned): republican
Main Strengths: Good with black voters, religious and conservative enough that he doesn't scare off white republican voters.
Main Weaknesses: His (unknown) illegality, gang connections (hidden), has been charged with domestic abuse, though the charges were later dropped.
Short Bio: (1 to 2 paragraphs) Tishembe was born into a well off family in Angola, his father owning an oil rig and small company which traded in fish. His father was a highly dodgy businessman, trading with several tribal militias and taking and paying bribes from people. When the revolution came he was forced out alongside the rest of his family. They migrated to Sudan, before a people smuggling ring gave him fake papers and entrance into America.

His hatred of the left wing was very strong, and he strove to remove it from America. He got into politics after graduating from Mississippi High School. He worked several jobs and had several run ins with gang life whilst he was in his teens, but managed to make his way out of poverty in the back streets to own a respectable house in a nicer suburb. When in the hood, he saw that many of the poor there were black like him, but didn't try and work out, instead living off benefits. He decided to stop this.

He ran for mayor, pushing a tough love style campaign that promised jobs and security, with the slogan "It's your life, not the governments." He managed to get elected in an election that was tarred by several accusations of fraud and illegal voter intimidation by prominent gangs. His economic policies worked well, bringing jobs and income back to lower income areas of Jackson. His style is authoritarian, but has helped to reduce crime and improve employment. One of his greatest assets is connection with youths who feel like the government has betrayed them, as he can relate.
