...The Fourth Era began with the assassination of the Emperor Baron Idus by the forces of the Elder Cult. From that point on every minor warlord in Eroris went out with their petty war-bands all seeking the Ember Throne. From this chaos, a great general rose: Alaro Ashen! First of his Name of the Ashen dynasty and Dragon Conqueror of Eroris!

"It was too late by the time we saw them... Saw is a little bit of a understatement. I had seen a shadow move across the clouds, fast it was. Then... I heard the roar, that ferocious roar. At that moment, I knew the world had came to an end."

The Year was 170 of the Fifth Era, the 1st of Summer's End. That was the day that the world seemed to stop, when Eroris encountered the greatest challenge it had ever faced: The Akounate. The coalition of allied races had set their sights of Eroris and they wanted it. Terrible was their onslaught, they tore through Mirfuhn and subdued the Valyarians, only the Nords with mighty and brave warriors were able to fight them. At the gates of Isnhrion, capital of the Ashen Empire, were they were finally stopped, but only through luck. Emperor Omoris II of the House of Varian, successfully defeated the Akounateen Army, even with a overwhelming disadvantage. Even though the Empire had dealt a crushing blow to the Alliance, they, with their ravaged homes and armies were unable to push it. In the Ember Treaty, ending the war, the Akounate was confined to the Province of Mirfuhn, home of the dwarves, and they were to not threaten the Kingdoms of Eroris for a thirty years. There they would lie in wait, preparing for the day they would once again raise their swords in battle.

The Year is now 199 of the Fifth Era. The Emperor, like the empire he rules, lies dying and infirm, soon to leave for his son, Ruven I, the greatest challenge the land has ever faced. Opposed to the Empire is the Akounate, mysterious invaders from the South who will stop at nothing to claim this new land. Although they are strong, they too bear scars left from the last battle with the races of Eroris. To the West the Kingdom of Valyaria continues to fight for their independence, the mighty forces of the six Houses still do battle with the Akounate. To the North the strong Nords of Norravagg, still drunk from their victories over the Akounate, openly question the right of the Emperor to rule in their land.

Eroris shall bleed, flogged by the war that is to come. The stage has been set, the die has been casted. Soon the fate of all Eroris shall be decided...

Abus Exicum
Race: He is a Half-Reach/Half-Nord male.
Gender/Sex: Male
Age: 23
Appearance: Abus' is 5' 8" weighing in at 121 pounds with a average build. He has dirty blonde hair and fair skinned. His greatest features is his cheekbones making him a very enticing and charismatic person, not counting his manipulative spells.

Spells marked with * will be spells that only Abus has knowledge of, because he though of the. The same goes for spells marked with **. Spells marked with ** will be extremely powerful spells that Abus will use much later. If you need me to explain any of the spells please do so now Everhall. These are not all and more will be added as he goes in his adventures.
Destruction Spells
Flame Strike- A fire ball is thrown from his hand.

Lighting Strike- Lightning is conjured into a ball and then used to electrocute foes.
Block
Magical Shield- A translucent shield appear infront on the user resistant to a limited amount of force.
Illusion/Manipulation Spells
Mirage Wall *- An obstacle is manipulated into the appearance of a wall.

Optical Twin *- The user's appearance is changed into the person desired. The person must be in the near vicinity.

Physical Twin *- The user's appearance is not only changed into the desired person, but if damage is received to the user than the damage will be directed towards the foe causing the damage.

Manipulative Disguise *- The object or person's appearance is changed to the user's specification.

Reinforcing Legion **- A fake legion is rendered out of thin air to confuse the enemy and make it seem as if there is a second force of soldiers charging for them.

Elusive Trail *- A false trail is made obvious to lead away an enemy.
Other Spells
Slippery Ice *- A path of ice is able to be cast infront of the user.

Staggering Strike *- A bolt of light shoots from the hand knocking the enemy back, staggering them in the process.

Forced Glance *- The desired person is forced to glance where the user directs.

Equipment:
Armor: Abus' dons a hardened leather half-robe with a steel cuirass, steel gauntlets and steel greaves all hidden underneath the hardened leather half-robe
Weapons: Abus' wields a steel broadsword in his right arm while he will use his left hand for spell-casting. He straps a steel dagger to the left side of his steel cuirass underneath his hardened leather half-robe.
Abus' has his own spell book full of Manipulation and Illusion spells, but he a section especially for the time when he starts to create his own spells.
Skills: Manipulation, Illusion, One-Handed, Quick, Sneak
Weaknesses: Abus relies so much on his ability to spell-cast and the spells themselves that when it comes down to a one on one fight Abus is only an average fighter and will most likely use his spells to escape someone's grasp.
Bio: Abus' was the third and last child of a Half Nord, Half Reachmen family. Abus' birth was not expected, but he was. His mother a woman from the Reach wanted him to become a successful trader and land-holder while his father a Nordic man wanted him to become a renowned warrior of Eroris. The first child of Jord and Alice was Andel. He was decided to become a warrior. Alice pleaded that the next and final child become a trader and land-holder. This child would be named Axel. Jord wasn't a gready husband, so he said the next child will be a successful trader. Then Abus' came and no one knew what to do. Jord and Alice decided to go to a priest of the Nine Ascended. He said,"This child must become a Spellsword!" Jord and Alice looked at each for some sort of guidance, but none was to be seen. This was his destiny.

Abus' oldest brother left when Abus was only 10 to pursue his chosen path as a warrior. He would go north to the Nordic lands and train for years and by the time Abus' turned 16 he'd heard that his brother died fighting in the lands of Valyaria on a quest. This had little effect on Abus as he was too far apart in age when his brother was around. This meant Abus had one brother who had achieved his goals of being a renowned warrior and one brother still alive. Axel and Abus were always close as were their ages, Axel only being 3 years older than Abus. The time finally came when Axel would leave to pursue his adulthood. That left Abus as the last child among the household. He'd been studying the scrolls and spells of manipulation for years, in fact he'd studied them since he was 9. His family wasn't poor and was always able to afford to pay for his studies.

When Abus turned 20 he too had to leave to pursue his path as a Spellsword. Abus' first adventures were in the lands of the Vale. Abus' alone took down a whole bandit camp through his sneaky and manipulative ways and spells. This gave him great recognition among the School of Kuruth and he would be invited to study under an elder named, Teomdil Letaire. Now he travels and studies with his mentor, Teomdil Letaire.

The Inner Walls of the Highfortress of Claudefux

Jorek and Hadrian spend the whole trip walking back talking about what each other had missed in one another's adventures, however they mostly spoke of what Hadrian had achieved as it was obvious what Jorek had achieved. Hadrian tells of the departure,"I escaped with one-hundred men to start off my mercenary band. We were much too small to be of any use to lords, so we were stuck in the early years working for large caravans and the latter. At a desperate point in my life I started to hire my band out to shady people and on this one eventful night while we are escorting this two seemingly unimportant men out of the city of a faraway slaver city, slavers rush from all sides counting up to be at least two-hundred and fifty men. We were outnumbered and had no chance of survival. They rounded us up and the two men we escorted were soon executed. The rest of us had an even deadlier sentence, slavery. For nine months, I was stuck on different slaver boats constantly trying to be sold. My physique was not that of the interest of customers. I found my chance though when we were at sea, there was a storm as powerful as one-hundred krakens and in a jolt of the waves an object was thrown up and landed on the chains connecting us prisoners. It broke the chain and immediately I knew this was my chance. I rallied the slaves, at least 50 men of different races on the ship. Drow, elf, dwarf, human it did matter to me. We were all the same race in my mind and we all had the same goal. We fought like hell overthrowing the slavers and capturing each and every ship. Those ships you see in the port are only half of the armada I captured. For the next several years we worked for kings and lords alike and I'd switched all of my crew by then. The original slaves had either died or left. Ive had this crew for two years now. And I decided it was time I came back to see you." Jorek took this in and was amazed at what he had been through and congratulated him on his success. "You know I wish to conquer of Alenius soon, Hadrian. And I will certainly need your aid old friend."

At that they have finally made it through the inner walls to the Highfortress building itself. They walk inside and there awaits the advisors in the war room.

War Room

The two friends sit down and await the advisors ideas. The Strategician gets up and motions for everyone to look at the map of Alenius he has sprawled along the table. He points to the forests and how it will be a heavy fight in the trees against the Drow. He then has a chart of the army composition.

Heavy Infantry: 150 All of these are professional.
Men-at-Arms: 600 Two-hundred and fifty of these are professional.
Light Infantry: 250
Spearmen: 600 Three-hundred of these spearman are professional.
Heavy Crossbowmen: 50 All of these are professional.
Light Crossbowmen: 200
Heavy Archers: 200 All of these are professional.
Cav. Archers: 0
Light Archers: 400
Heavy Cavalry: 0
Light Cavalry: 50 All of these are professional.


The strategician then goes on to explain since these are forests mostly that you should rely on your light infantry, men-at-arms, light archers, and heavy archers. Before the strategician can tell the general what he should do, Hadrian speaks up about his own army. "I have 1000 swordsmen I can contribute to the cause as well as 300 archers. The strategician obviously annoyed then continues with what he was about to say and tells the General he needs to lead an eleven-hundred man army on the east side of the line while Jorek leads the 1300 men Hadrian is providing on the west side of the line. The strategician then points to the treasurer for the estimated cost.

"This expedition should cost 2000 gold pieces for our army and whatever amount is discussed for the 1300 hundred men that Hadrian provided.

Hadrian says proficiently,"No charge. I've come back with enough gold to retire for seven eras, and I intend to stay and serve my lord and friend."

The treasurer then makes a relieved gasp noise and continues to say,"The whole expedition will cost 3000 gold pieces for the food and medicinal supplies. The rebuilding and infrastcture will, however cost at least 4000 gold pieces. With the money in our large treasury that will be the equivalent of a small stipend. We shall be fine my lord."

Jorek nods acceptingly and turns to Hadrian first,"Will you accompany me in this invasion?" Hadrian replies with enthusiasm,"I will my lord." Jorek then turns to the general. "Get all of the men prepared, for on the morrow we march to conquer the Drow!"

The Next Day

Men form in lines drilling and practicing early in the morning before leaving the safety of the magnificent city of Jurdek and the Highfortress of Claudefux. Jorek, Hadrian, and the general all meet out in the numerous courtyards going over the plans, strategy, and tactics once more. Each going over checklists of things to make sure things are prepared or loaded.

At 8am in the morning, the soldiers start marching from the city, Jorek and Hadrian to the west, the general to the east. It is said that the further you push into the forests the more evil and horrific the Drow get.

At first they push on with ease, village after village captured and Drow put in quarantine areas after being taken back closer to the city to ensure that no attacks happen. As they get deeper and deeper into the forests though, situations get dire. Drow are attacking left and right up and down. There hasn't been site of settlement for days though and Drow have been playing guerilla tactics for days. There is word that just a few miles south there will be the main compound of the Drow. The capital of the humans that first immigrated to iesone a hundred years ago. The guerilla tactics have gotten so disgustingly horrible that Jorek has resolved to having trees in their path cut down to avoid concealment of tribal Drow and make it easier for supply lines to reach the force.

There is no chance of siege equipment being usable in these conditions. There is only one possible solution. Someone has to sneak over the walls and open them to allow people in. The Drow know if they are bribed and allow these humans in they will be killed as well.

Jorek speaks with Hadrian while they've set up camp in a cleared out space. They've lost fifty men to guerilla tactics by the Drow. Jorek tells Hadrian," You must clamber over the wall during the night at the death hour. Open the gates and let everyone in. Without you we won't be able to take this city and finish off the Drow in Alenius.

Hadrian honored to do this says with pride,"I'd be honored to do this in fact I will do it tonight at midnight. arrange for seven men to escort me with two scout lookouts."

Jorek proud of his old friend pats his deeply on his shoulder and tells him,"Thank you, Hadrian. Thank you." Hadrian leaves to get some sleep before the mission.

Outside of Partheseus' Walls
At the dead hour

Seven men accompany Hadrian as they sneak their way to the wall. Hadrian clambers over the wall quickly due to his nimbleness and agility as well as the boost of his group. He signals for the rest of them to go back to Jorek and tell him that Hadrian will signal with an arrow covered in a sparkling dust. Hadrian slowly walks behind a wall guard grabbing his head tightly and quickly snapping his neck with the ferocity of a cobra. As he gets to a blind spot where he can view the inside and look for the gatehouse he finds it, but to his demise he fails to notice the sleeping guard at his feet. The guard notices the figure as a foreign intruder and throws him over the tower. Two things happen.

First of all, Hadrian doesn't die, but he breaks his leg. Second of all, that guard who threw him over happens to be the captain of the guard. He signals the alarm and in minutes the Drow are alerted. In seconds there is chaos. The lampposts and and lanterns are lit. The surprise attack is now not an option. Hadrian only has one thing in his mind. And that is to open the gate. He limps badly over the gatehouse with devastating amounts of pain going through his body from the fall. He opens the door and starts levering the door shut behind him. He then gets over to the wheel and starts heaving it around and around to open the gate.

Jorek is ready and charges his troops through the gate. Jorek yelling his command,"Charge!!!"

Over 1000 swordsmen charge through the gates and that's when the Drow finally get there. It is an intense battle, with many dieing on each side, but the humans seeming to be in favor of winning. Jorek collides with many men decapitating, severing and spilling the guts of the Drow soldiers. They scream in horror as they realize this is Jorek the Mighty. The man who killed 20 spear men on his own! The human soldiers morale is heavily increased while the drow' morale slowly decreases.

Then a thought comes to Jorek's mind. Where is Hadrian? Panic fills his head and Jorek now cuts down man after man ever so quickly in search of Hadrian. Eventually he reached the gatehouse, and has to ram the door, because of Hadrians leverage in locking the door. There he lies next to the wheel bleeding out rapidly and fainted. His leg is twisted not being noticeable earlier when he was thrown. Jorek panics with fear of his friend dieing quickly upping the pace of helping his friend. He attempts to put pressure on the leg then puts him over his left shoulder as he puts the Greatsword back in its sheath and taking out his shield. He opens the door ramming through many Drow as they realize he is trying to carry a friend out and is only armed with a metal shield. He breaks many jaws, bones and the latter. They back off realizing Jorek the Mighty is mighty even without a sword.

Jorek finally pushes through the crowds to the outside of the gate where wounded are being attended. He calls for a nurse to tend to Hadrian.

He then rushes back into the fight placing his shield back while throwing javelins. With his shear strength he pierced the javelins through many Drow at once, the most begin with three. He doesn't have much aim so few make a hit, however he gets the point to the Drow.

At this point, the battle is heavily advantaged in the humans side and the Drow start fleeing into the city. Human soldiers flood into the city some staying to capture the gate point. The battle is raging on in the inner city as a giant of a Drow moves to fight Jorek. The Drow is much taller than Jorek, but obviously much nimbler. The Drow carries a metal quarter staff being every bit menacing as he can be. Jorek engages him. He gets into a defensive stance knowing his opponent is too much for him to be aggressive with. The Drow swings his metal quarter staff to try and put a large enough dent into Jorek's helmet that he would die of a brain hemorrhage. Jorek is ready in a riposte stance and dents the metal inward heavily. While the Drow, is distracted he swings his Greatsword to cut the man's dominant arm off. The Drow is too slow and bulky failing to react in time losing his army. He wails in pain then with the staff slams it into the side of Jorek's left side. He falls to the ground a small dent in his armor. Jorek is winded getting back up unsteadily. The Drow then kicks his legs out from under him causing Jorek to fall yet again. The Drow is ready to slam the unbent head of the quarter staff into the front part of Jorek's helmet when a crossbow bolt slams into the northwestern corner of the drowns head making blood flush into his eye sockets with him falling down dead, lifeless. Jorek stands up to see Hadrian reloading his compact crossbow. Jorek smiles and once he regains his breath continues the fight after having putting down that monster of a Drow.

By 3:52am in the morning the battle is over. The Drow wouldn't surrender leaving dead bodies everywhere. Those who didn't die fled the city. Jorek has all Drow officials executed in the name of Partheseus, the human who founded this city. All Drow who are willing to assimilate gladly do so, agreeing to also help clear the bodies and clean the streets.

No siege equipment was used making the city mostly fine except for the occasional destroyed home or shop in the event of a raging fight. Partheseus has been captured and the rest of he surrounding villages surrender.

Jorek immediately sends word to the Highfortress that the expedition succeeded. The southern half had been conquered, for the next several months roads will be built and infrastructure upgraded or added. The mountains to the south were now in Jorek's hands. He immediately had mines built solving the metal issues. The whole expedition costed 11000 gold pieces. Families mourn loved ones who died serving their king.

After the battle, Jorek sends for the general to go survey the rest of the south with 250 men that have no family back home and clear way for settlers and caravans full of materials coming southward. The rest return home to see their families and rejoice in Jorek's victory.


Personality: Abus' is a friendly person often taking the easier less combative route.

Count Wiking The First, Count Of Summerset, General of Reach, Veteran of the Secession

Race: High Elfe
Gender/Sex: Male
Age: 254
Class: Knight-esq
Equipment: when in combat he relies on his master crafted elven weapons and armor, he fights manly with a arming sword and shield, but is well versed in all types of weapon combat, he also at times uses his magic to assist during combat, but only as a compliment. Outside of combat he carries high quality clothing, denoting his high statues, but it's still functional in form, he also carries a Reach forged rapier type of weapon as a status indicator, the weapon itself is made out of a silver looking alloy, with some blue gems along the handle and guard, while functional, he has never used it in live combat(if you want more, just say the word)
Skills: combat using melee weapons, excels at using swords and pikes. A pretty good politician and speaker, pretty good at trading efficiently as well
Weaknesses: first of all, he is an elf, and even if he has been the count for as long as the nation of reach has existed, there are still those in the upper ranks that do not trust him, or even despise him. He is rather useless at using magic, and when he does it takes a lot of effort and energy.
Bio: Originally served with the imperial legions, back before the secession, but he never liked the empire, so when he and the rest of his unit, 100 men got set to the reach to bring it back into the fold 200 years ago, he defected, to his surprise his unit followed him. What followed was a long period of he and his unit proving their loyalty to the Secession. Finally proving their worth when the 101 golden shining suits of armour intervened in the 2nd battle of Summerset, turning the tide and allowing the Reach soldiers time to recuperate and win the battle.

After that the "Gold Company" as they had been called were always at the front, combating the legions that they had once served, once the war was over they had a impressive track record, and as a result wiking as the commanding officer received a promotion to general, and the title of count of Summerset, in commemoration of his unit's efforts in the area. However, out of the 100 men that followed him, only 20 remained, those 20 also got different titles, but since them most have stepped down, or died.

But not wiking, during his 200 year control of the area, he has made the area into a sprawling and rich area, famous for it's wine, but also for it's military, Summerset is on the border of the empire, and a long series of forts and walls protect Reach from the legions that wants it dead. Every man and woman in summerset spends at least one month every winter training in the army, with a army made up a core of professional soldiers, that in case of war will be supported by the inhabitants that all have standard training. (let me know if you want more stuff here)

Class: warrior
Equipment: Standard issue Plate helmet and cuirass, plate glove and lower arm plate on weapon arm. chain shirt, Padded coif, shirt and pants. Leather reinforced upper parts of pants. 1 or 2 handed halberd, tower shield, Arming sword, small knife for utility work. Other standard issue gear(tin and spoon, metal container for drink ect). Leather bound writing book as well as quill and ink.
Skills: Jonas is a decent warrior and commander in the heat of battle, as well as being able to speak, read and write several different languages
Weaknesses: In essence, he is a simple man, a soldier of the folk. His main weakness is that he is low down in the hierarchy, and nothing special. (no huge skill set, no huge weakness)
Bio: Jonas was born in the county of Summerset to a pair of smiths, he had a pretty idyllic uprising, as many in the region do. For it's both prosperous and safe, Jonas showed an early interest in language, was at the age of 13 he was sent to the Academy in Summerset, to become a scholar. However, when he graduated 2 years later, and just like all others in summerset above the age of 15, reported at the local garrison for training he found that he was a good soldier. No, a bloody good one, and at the end of the month when his training was over, he was offered a place in the professional army.

He accepted and started a life as a soldier, He was assigned to a border fort along the imperial border, and served with distinction, keeping the roads safe from the wildlife and occasional brigand. He was offered possibility of promotion after promotion, but after reaching sergeant he denied them all, refusing to give reason for it. He kept on serving at the same fort for the coming 20 years, and in the process he created a family, getting married and getting a son, whom also got a position as a professional soldier.

Jord wasn't a gready husband, so he said the next child will be a successful trader. Then Abus' came and no one knew what to do. Jord and Alice decided to go to a priest of the Nine Ascended. He said,"This child must become a Spellsword!" Jord and Alice looked at each for some sort of guidance, but none was to be seen. This was his destiny.

Abus' oldest brother left when Abus was only 10 to pursue his chosen path as a warrior. He would go north to the Nordic lands and train for years and by the time Abus' turned 16 he'd heard that his brother died fighting in the lands of Valyaria on a quest. This had little effect on Abus as he was too far apart in age when his brother was around. This meant Abus had one brother who had achieved his goals of being a renowned warrior and one brother still alive. Axel and Abus were always close as were their ages, Axel only being 3 years older than Abus. The time finally came when Axel would leave to pursue his adulthood. That left Abus as the last child among the household. He'd been studying the scrolls and spells of manipulation for years, in fact he'd studied them since he was 9. His family wasn't poor and was always able to afford to pay for his studies.

When Abus turned 20 he too had to leave to pursue his path as a Spellsword. Abus' first adventures were in the lands of the Vale. Abus' alone took down a whole bandit camp through his sneaky and manipulative ways and spells. This gave him great recognition among the School of Kuruth and he would be invited to study under an elder named, Teomdil Letaire. Now he travels and studies with his mentor, Teomdil Letaire.

Jorek and Hadrian spend the whole trip walking back talking about what each other had missed in one another's adventures, however they mostly spoke of what Hadrian had achieved as it was obvious what Jorek had achieved. Hadrian tells of the departure,"I escaped with one-hundred men to start off my mercenary band. We were much too small to be of any use to lords, so we were stuck in the early years working for large caravans and the latter. At a desperate point in my life I started to hire my band out to shady people and on this one eventful night while we are escorting this two seemingly unimportant men out of the city of a faraway slaver city, slavers rush from all sides counting up to be at least two-hundred and fifty men. We were outnumbered and had no chance of survival. They rounded us up and the two men we escorted were soon executed. The rest of us had an even deadlier sentence, slavery. For nine months, I was stuck on different slaver boats constantly trying to be sold. My physique was not that of the interest of customers. I found my chance though when we were at sea, there was a storm as powerful as one-hundred krakens and in a jolt of the waves an object was thrown up and landed on the chains connecting us prisoners. It broke the chain and immediately I knew this was my chance. I rallied the slaves, at least 50 men of different races on the ship. Drow, elf, dwarf, human it did matter to me. We were all the same race in my mind and we all had the same goal. We fought like hell overthrowing the slavers and capturing each and every ship. Those ships you see in the port are only half of the armada I captured. For the next several years we worked for kings and lords alike and I'd switched all of my crew by then. The original slaves had either died or left. Ive had this crew for two years now. And I decided it was time I came back to see you." Jorek took this in and was amazed at what he had been through and congratulated him on his success. "You know I wish to conquer of Alenius soon, Hadrian. And I will certainly need your aid old friend."

At that they have finally made it through the inner walls to the Highfortress building itself. They walk inside and there awaits the advisors in the war room.

War Room

The two friends sit down and await the advisors ideas. The Strategician gets up and motions for everyone to look at the map of Alenius he has sprawled along the table. He points to the forests and how it will be a heavy fight in the trees against the Drow. He then has a chart of the army composition.

Heavy Infantry: 150 All of these are professional.

The strategician then goes on to explain since these are forests mostly that you should rely on your light infantry, men-at-arms, light archers, and heavy archers. Before the strategician can tell the general what he should do, Hadrian speaks up about his own army. "I have 1000 swordsmen I can contribute to the cause as well as 300 archers. The strategician obviously annoyed then continues with what he was about to say and tells the General he needs to lead an eleven-hundred man army on the east side of the line while Jorek leads the 1300 men Hadrian is providing on the west side of the line. The strategician then points to the treasurer for the estimated cost.

"This expedition should cost 2000 gold pieces for our army and whatever amount is discussed for the 1300 hundred men that Hadrian provided.

Hadrian says proficiently,"No charge. I've come back with enough gold to retire for seven eras, and I intend to stay and serve my lord and friend."

The treasurer then makes a relieved gasp noise and continues to say,"The whole expedition will cost 3000 gold pieces for the food and medicinal supplies. The rebuilding and infrastcture will, however cost at least 4000 gold pieces. With the money in our large treasury that will be the equivalent of a small stipend. We shall be fine my lord."

Jorek nods acceptingly and turns to Hadrian first,"Will you accompany me in this invasion?" Hadrian replies with enthusiasm,"I will my lord." Jorek then turns to the general. "Get all of the men prepared, for on the morrow we march to conquer the Drow!"

The Next Day

Men form in lines drilling and practicing early in the morning before leaving the safety of the magnificent city of Jurdek and the Highfortress of Claudefux. Jorek, Hadrian, and the general all meet out in the numerous courtyards going over the plans, strategy, and tactics once more. Each going over checklists of things to make sure things are prepared or loaded.

At 8am in the morning, the soldiers start marching from the city, Jorek and Hadrian to the west, the general to the east. It is said that the further you push into the forests the more evil and horrific the Drow get.

At first they push on with ease, village after village captured and Drow put in quarantine areas after being taken back closer to the city to ensure that no attacks happen. As they get deeper and deeper into the forests though, situations get dire. Drow are attacking left and right up and down. There hasn't been site of settlement for days though and Drow have been playing guerilla tactics for days. There is word that just a few miles south there will be the main compound of the Drow. The capital of the humans that first immigrated to iesone a hundred years ago. The guerilla tactics have gotten so disgustingly horrible that Jorek has resolved to having trees in their path cut down to avoid concealment of tribal Drow and make it easier for supply lines to reach the force.

There is no chance of siege equipment being usable in these conditions. There is only one possible solution. Someone has to sneak over the walls and open them to allow people in. The Drow know if they are bribed and allow these humans in they will be killed as well.

Jorek speaks with Hadrian while they've set up camp in a cleared out space. They've lost fifty men to guerilla tactics by the Drow. Jorek tells Hadrian," You must clamber over the wall during the night at the death hour. Open the gates and let everyone in. Without you we won't be able to take this city and finish off the Drow in Alenius.

Hadrian honored to do this says with pride,"I'd be honored to do this in fact I will do it tonight at midnight. arrange for seven men to escort me with two scout lookouts."

Jorek proud of his old friend pats his deeply on his shoulder and tells him,"Thank you, Hadrian. Thank you." Hadrian leaves to get some sleep before the mission.

Outside of Partheseus' Walls
At the dead hour

Seven men accompany Hadrian as they sneak their way to the wall. Hadrian clambers over the wall quickly due to his nimbleness and agility as well as the boost of his group. He signals for the rest of them to go back to Jorek and tell him that Hadrian will signal with an arrow covered in a sparkling dust. Hadrian slowly walks behind a wall guard grabbing his head tightly and quickly snapping his neck with the ferocity of a cobra. As he gets to a blind spot where he can view the inside and look for the gatehouse he finds it, but to his demise he fails to notice the sleeping guard at his feet. The guard notices the figure as a foreign intruder and throws him over the tower. Two things happen.

First of all, Hadrian doesn't die, but he breaks his leg. Second of all, that guard who threw him over happens to be the captain of the guard. He signals the alarm and in minutes the Drow are alerted. In seconds there is chaos. The lampposts and and lanterns are lit. The surprise attack is now not an option. Hadrian only has one thing in his mind. And that is to open the gate. He limps badly over the gatehouse with devastating amounts of pain going through his body from the fall. He opens the door and starts levering the door shut behind him. He then gets over to the wheel and starts heaving it around and around to open the gate.

Jorek is ready and charges his troops through the gate. Jorek yelling his command,"Charge!!!"

Over 1000 swordsmen charge through the gates and that's when the Drow finally get there. It is an intense battle, with many dieing on each side, but the humans seeming to be in favor of winning. Jorek collides with many men decapitating, severing and spilling the guts of the Drow soldiers. They scream in horror as they realize this is Jorek the Mighty. The man who killed 20 spear men on his own! The human soldiers morale is heavily increased while the drow' morale slowly decreases.

Then a thought comes to Jorek's mind. Where is Hadrian? Panic fills his head and Jorek now cuts down man after man ever so quickly in search of Hadrian. Eventually he reached the gatehouse, and has to ram the door, because of Hadrians leverage in locking the door. There he lies next to the wheel bleeding out rapidly and fainted. His leg is twisted not being noticeable earlier when he was thrown. Jorek panics with fear of his friend dieing quickly upping the pace of helping his friend. He attempts to put pressure on the leg then puts him over his left shoulder as he puts the Greatsword back in its sheath and taking out his shield. He opens the door ramming through many Drow as they realize he is trying to carry a friend out and is only armed with a metal shield. He breaks many jaws, bones and the latter. They back off realizing Jorek the Mighty is mighty even without a sword.

Jorek finally pushes through the crowds to the outside of the gate where wounded are being attended. He calls for a nurse to tend to Hadrian.

He then rushes back into the fight placing his shield back while throwing javelins. With his shear strength he pierced the javelins through many Drow at once, the most begin with three. He doesn't have much aim so few make a hit, however he gets the point to the Drow.

At this point, the battle is heavily advantaged in the humans side and the Drow start fleeing into the city. Human soldiers flood into the city some staying to capture the gate point. The battle is raging on in the inner city as a giant of a Drow moves to fight Jorek. The Drow is much taller than Jorek, but obviously much nimbler. The Drow carries a metal quarter staff being every bit menacing as he can be. Jorek engages him. He gets into a defensive stance knowing his opponent is too much for him to be aggressive with. The Drow swings his metal quarter staff to try and put a large enough dent into Jorek's helmet that he would die of a brain hemorrhage. Jorek is ready in a riposte stance and dents the metal inward heavily. While the Drow, is distracted he swings his Greatsword to cut the man's dominant arm off. The Drow is too slow and bulky failing to react in time losing his army. He wails in pain then with the staff slams it into the side of Jorek's left side. He falls to the ground a small dent in his armor. Jorek is winded getting back up unsteadily. The Drow then kicks his legs out from under him causing Jorek to fall yet again. The Drow is ready to slam the unbent head of the quarter staff into the front part of Jorek's helmet when a crossbow bolt slams into the northwestern corner of the drowns head making blood flush into his eye sockets with him falling down dead, lifeless. Jorek stands up to see Hadrian reloading his compact crossbow. Jorek smiles and once he regains his breath continues the fight after having putting down that monster of a Drow.

By 3:52am in the morning the battle is over. The Drow wouldn't surrender leaving dead bodies everywhere. Those who didn't die fled the city. Jorek has all Drow officials executed in the name of Partheseus, the human who founded this city. All Drow who are willing to assimilate gladly do so, agreeing to also help clear the bodies and clean the streets.

No siege equipment was used making the city mostly fine except for the occasional destroyed home or shop in the event of a raging fight. Partheseus has been captured and the rest of he surrounding villages surrender.

Jorek immediately sends word to the Highfortress that the expedition succeeded. The southern half had been conquered, for the next several months roads will be built and infrastructure upgraded or added. The mountains to the south were now in Jorek's hands. He immediately had mines built solving the metal issues. The whole expedition costed 11000 gold pieces. Families mourn loved ones who died serving their king.

After the battle, Jorek sends for the general to go survey the rest of the south with 250 men that have no family back home and clear way for settlers and caravans full of materials coming southward. The rest return home to see their families and rejoice in Jorek's victory.

Bio: Araki Ebizo was born to Clan Ebizo. His father was a known master of the Nodachi, and taught him how to use it and nothing else due to prejudice against the lighter swords. His mother was a scout who taught him how to be light on his feet and survive the cold mountains of Deimakou, most of his early life was built upon control, respect, and obedience, these three virtues followed him through teen years, his teen years where then built upon wisdom, finding himself and his officer training, he would soon see his first engagement at the age of 2,012. This engagement made him a legend among his peers, the push into a rival Daimyo was hard fought and most of the casualties were due to poor leadership, the stakes were high and backing down wasn't an option the last ditch effort was met with heavy losses on both sides and someone needed to back down. Araki was ordered to make a final push on the left flank in which he did with minimal losses, after that he flanked enemy archers and militiamen. His action rallied the troops and forced the rival Daimyo to retreat and regroup in his keep.

After the engagement he was etched in legend, a true warrior, Diamyo Kagie had to honor him as his right hand enforcer and weapon of war.This all changed by his 16th battle of the Kagie Oshudoo Empire, the battle was standard and flowing smooth when his own troops rebelled against him and his officers, he came back defeated and worthless. His Diamyo banished him from his lands and enlisted him to the invading armies heading to Eroris, after landing he deserted the army and was proclaimed dead after two months of no signs of finding him. He wondered the countryside and met many interesting individuals and shared his story and culture. He soon became a mercenary and bounty hunter for whoever payed the highest coin, his current age is 3,032 and he is looking for his next job and payment. His last known location was the frozen north and heading east.

Bio: Aracia's birth is unknown to many, but we do know who cared for her at a young age. Aracia was taken in by a hermit in the valleys of the Vale. She grew up a secluded and peaceful life for the most part. Her whole world changed when she was at the nearby village shopping for goods to bring back to her foster-father. In the process of shopping the village is beset by bandits. Aracia had no clue how to fight, but it almost seemed as if instinct kicked in an a fireball shot out from her hand. It struck the Bandit Captain square on the breastplate. He fell off his mule, yelling and scratching at his breastplate. The man shortly died after being eaten by the fire. Half of his companions still shocked stand there looking at their leader dead on the ground, while the other half search for the caster. They find her standing dazed at what she'd just done and charge at her. Out of fear she hides behind a stall, but without any notice a strike of lightning shoots from her hand electrocuting several bandits. The bandits having saw this, pleaded for mercy on their knees crying in fear. Aracia stands up not sure what to do and is cheered upon by the village. She receives a bounty sum for having captured these men. With this news spreading like wildfire she receives a letter days later addressed to her at the village. It reads from the School of Kuruth. She used the money she received from the bounty to travel to the School of Kuruth where she has spent 6 years learning.

Aracia having gone to the same school as Abus and having had the same mentor became close friends with him. Aracia was a very awkward girl, so she never was able to ask him out. The day finally came on the second year of Abus' learning. Aracia had since grown close to Abus and Abus to Aracia. They go on adventures together, the most famous one being the, "Halls of Torture". Abus and Aracia were assigned this quest as a test of their learnings. Together Abus and Aracia completed many feats among the Hall of Torture. Both being Spellswords made it easy for them to sneak around the Hall and avoid the traps of torture. When they finally reached the end of the hall the fog had cleared and there stood a disgusting mutant of a man. He was sobbing like a madman continuously saying, "Pain! Pain!" He charged at them and this is where Abus thought of his first spell, "Slippery Ice". He cast his spell making the path infront of him slippery. The man slipped and fell allowing Aracia to strike him with lightning several times with Abus support striking him with Flame Strike.

Bio: Lothar was born to the former widow of a Norse soldier, one of those in service to the Nordic High King in Redwood. He was born to a different man however, not his mother’s soldier husband, instead a slob of a tavern keeper, who beat his mother on a regular basis. She couldn’t escape his daily torment, and getting fed up with the stepfathers horrible treatment, Lothar took the law in his own hands. He killed the tavern keeper with a swift slice of the neck, leaving the knife. Lothar already had had a bag prepared for his departure. Unfortunately, this would later prove mortally wounding to Lothar. The townspeople, who eventually discovered the body, with no one else to blame but Lothar’s mom, placed the guilt on her. Watching from the woods, Lothar watched as She was burned at the stake in front of the whole town. Lothar’s attempt to save his own mother had killed her.

Bleary eyed and furious, a 16 year old Lothar stumbled over the roots and undergrowth, with only one thing on his mind, running away as far as he could from Redwood, and his past. His only solaces in life were the solitude of the forest, and alcohol. The latter was actually the major of the two comforts, and he developed an addiction to alcohol. Hiding from the law in a cave near Blackvale, Lothar only went into town for the purchasing of alcohol via stolen goods.

One day while he was trotting around the surrounding woods in a drunken stupor, Lothar heard footsteps and subsequently ‘fell asleep’. This was not so concerning to him, as animals lived in those woods, and he would frequently become blackout drunk. When he awoke, the scenery was not the same as when he fell into unconsciousness. Lothar had been locked away in a large stone tower, which, from through his cell window he could see, spanned above a rumbling river. One of his hands was chained to a socket on the wall, and his ankles shackled to the floor. Looking down, he realized His regular fur garments had been replaced with a scratchy linen tunic and trousers, and all of his possessions stripped away. “Where am I?!” shouted Lothar. A large intimidating Nord man dressed in steel armor informed him he was being held for ransom by their group, avoiding the word bandit intentionally.

How could he have been so stupid? He had not thought that someone would have tried to attack him in the woods. Oh well, It was too late to scold himself now anyways. Lothar painstakingly waited out his days in the tower, with no alcohol (how he overcame his addiction), and seeing no one except for the bandits and a couple other prisoners who were ransomed much faster than he was. Nobody loved Lothar. Nobody wanted him. Eventually, with no one having paid his ransom, Lothar’s captors allowed him to walk around his cell as well as run around it, deeming him a low threat. Lothar had always been scrawny, weak, and the last pick in games. It was on one of these walks around the room where Lothar found it. A piece of stone had chipped off the wall, and if he could make into a shiv of sorts, he could escape his prison. Over the course of a week, when he made sure no one was watching, Lothar formed the stone into a shiv.

On the evening before his planned escape, Lothar pretended to fall asleep, knowing if the guards thought he was asleep, they would position the weakest guards on watch. Situated directly in front of the cell was a stool where the guard would sit (Bad placement I know). Lothar’s plan was to attack the guard with the shiv, and muffle his screams with a cut piece of linen. And then steal the keys of the corpse. He carried through with his plan with precision, and stealthily exited the cell. Down the tower stairs he crept, and at last he had reached the bottom floor. After attacking another guard who was watching the front door, stealing the guards clothes and boots, Lothar sprinted into the woods. He kept running until he found a place to rest.

Lothar hid in his resting cave for 2 years, venturing to towns every once in a while, and he finally overcame his alcoholism. Now he still resides there, and intends to set off for far off lands.

Bio: Battle is the family's lineage, and part of the family honor. Kharden's father and grandfather (before he passed away from disease) taught Kharden how to fight. Extensively training in battle tactics and combat, Kharden was soon taking down troublesome monsters with his father, and occasionally battling bandits. His father was growing old and starting to ail, but was nevertheless ready to battle the invasion of his homeland. Kharden, fighting alongside his father, eventually watched him fall in battle to the Khournate invasion forces. Kharden hewed down several more enemies before eventually being overburdened by the enemies around him and broken by his father's death, and in a quick decision, surrendered himself to his enemies.

Kharden, dishonored to his bone marrow, was eventually released after the war from custody and made a contract with the Akounate to not cause any trouble. He started working the mines, allowing him to maintain his body strength, while also supplying income, but was also unfortunately working under the same Akounate which killed his father. He eventually found a wife, then soon after took up heavy drinking. One night, he found himself out cold in his own piss and ale, his wife having knocked him out and left him. Severely distraught, he is growing more rowdy, especially in the pub, pissed at the Akounate and even more pissed when he looks at one of the Akounate 'peacekeepers'.

Weaknesses: While he is skilled for his age, he still lacks experience. His magic lacks control and versatility at times. Should he ever get hit really hard, he will probably be done for.
Bio: He was born from the union of a Drakon and a Valyar. His mother was taken a few years or so after the Landing of the Akounate. By all accounts his mother was a beauty among her kind, it was that among other things which drew the attention of a Drakon Noble. His mother was in Valyar one of the times the Akounate attacked, and was taken. A few years later he was born, a hybrid, a half-breed, a monstrosity to some. After he was born his mother died shortly afterwards, due to a residual illness she caught during childbirth that never recovered from.

His life there was harsh to be honest, he was shunned by most of his kind. His Father only kept him around out of curiosity, Let's just say his near immunity to fire came in handy as a child. Many of the others would torment him to see just how hard he was to burn. Most of the Time he kept his head down, but one day he fought back, injuring the child of Drakon official. While his father took care of the matter, from then on out his treatment was harsher. Shortly afterwards He chose to leave, forsaking the name given to him and instead choosing to go by Amariki.

After he left the Akounate, he was searched for more than one would think fitting of an outcast. It was because he may have proved to be a liability for the coming war. After he left he wandered over to Valyaria shortly before leaving. Even there he was not accepted due to his Drakon blood. That day he made a decision, he wouldn't try to fit in anywhere, he would carve his own place in this world. That was a few years ago, he is currently working as a sort of Bounty Hunter/Mercenary for hire.

Equipment: The Shadow Dagger - a dagger that can pass through any solid object with the proper incantation || His robes - they are magically resistance and fire resistant allowing for them to deflect weaker spells and heat || The Book of Forbidden Spells - only three such books of this kind exists and he posses one, it has spells that are extremely powerful and dangerous so he makes it his job to defend it from falling into evil (or his trainees)
Skills: MAGIC!!! He is an extremely powerful sorcerer rumored to be able to destroy a whole army. He has a large gift of magic and can hold his own easily in magical combat. And pretty fair in archery as well as being a natural leader and teacher hence being a mentor.
Weaknesses: Any hand held weapon like swords are hard for him to use. Very untrained with those. Plus he can be a pacifist most of the time making it extremely hard for him to use his powerful magic

Bio: Teomdil Letaire was an ordinary Valyar for the most part. He was born to regular Valyar parents and it seemed he would just live as a regular hunter and part time soldier. That was until he was conscripted to fight for his people. And his commander ordered him to kill everyone including children regardless of race. He simply could not bring himself to do it. He fled his regiment and went to the north crying feeling ashamed. It was in that cave that he encountered a great beast and subdued it. It was beast he never spoke of again nor told anyone but it is said that it was this beast that gave him such great magical potential. He trained under an Elf in the Magic Guild easily proving his might.

He continued up this path, aiding the weak and being their protector. This came to a giant climax when he challenged a mage who had long tormented a town. What occurred here is not know and Teomdil refuses to speak of it but it changed him forever. When the dust had settled, the town lay in ruins and its people either dead or just missing. He left the Guild for quite some time. It was during this period that he discovered the Book of Forbidden Spells, training in some of its magics to become even more powerful. He returned in 188 to the order and was given the rank of Archmage of the Guild. He held it for only two years before he decided to become just a member of the Council of the Guild because he loved to teach rather than lead. He continued to teach many in magical schools of sorts and often advised pacifism. It was not until recently he was assigned his trainees who he has come to love and cherish.

Personality: Teomdil is a caring sorcerer. Despite the Valyarian tendency to be power hungry and power-consumed, he is not. Seeking to help the weak was his initial path but now it has turned on him after a rather horrid incident he won't speak of. This has changed him into being a teacher particularly why he mentors many usually Spellswords like Aracia and Abus. He treats them like his own children and acts like a proper father.

Dislikes: One thing he does not like is being threatened or pushed to fight. War is an utter disgrace in his eyes and refuses to acknowledge most people who praise wars like generals. And fish. He does not like fish of any kind.

Appearance: 6'3", well built, but not ripped. Hair is white, as in the bottom picture, and his ears have a slight point to them, though hidden behind his hair most times.

Class: Spellsword

Equipment: Bastard Sword, Kite Shield, Dirk, Plate (Gorget , Pauldrons, Gauntlets, Greaves,), Scale plate (Hauberk, Faulds, Spaulders) Leather boots and other garments. Black tabard under gorget, but over hauberk. Black cloak and robe for when out of combat.

Skills: Very skilled swordsman, preferring to fight with his shield, but still quite proficient without it. Augments his martial ability with spells and enchantments, generally applying wards to his armor for protection against magic, poison, missile weaponry, and other such combat worries. Also very good negotiator and can often get people to see his side, when he doesn't accidentally push the wrong buttons. Unknown whether he uses magic, consciously or not to achieve this.

Weaknesses: Young and naive. He still sees the good in everyone and in every situation, which can cause him to mis-judge people and really screw up. Is brutally honest, and doesn't know when to not say something or hide a piece of evidence. Does not have much skill in actual combat magic, but doesn't use it often anyway.

Bio: Over a century ago, the Aldaos Dynasty was one of the most powerful and ancient families in the Vale. Now they are a massive Clan of mixed breed farmers in the central Reach. Their tale is ancient and full of sorrow, but one that must be told.

Ardris Aldaos, high patriarch of the Dynasty, watched as the Empire descend down a road of ruin, one that he could follow no more. With the consent of his Vassals, and the aid of some of his fellow nobles, he declared his Independence from the crumbling Ashen Empire. Things went well, for a few months, then cracks began to appear. Some of the nobles started to murmur, spreading rumors that the rebellion didn't have the strength to resist the Empire, and they weren't unfounded. The armies of the Mayaar were never numerous, but the Empire had the combined might of many races at their back.

Everything came to a head at Ashfall keep, the stronghold belonging to Lord Mathras. Mathras' forces would hold up in the castle, while the rest of the rebel armies would hide in the crags and foothills roundabout. When the Imperials laid siege to the castle, Ardris Aldaos rallied his forces behind them, pinning the Imperial army between two armies. The battle was a sure victory, until Ardris called for his reinforcements to push home against their foes, but none came. Instead there was only fire and death. The rebellion had been betrayed by Vetrusus, a low-born General given command by the rebels. The Empire promised him a lordship, and money, in exchange for his betrayal.

The Rebellion was crushed in one fell swoop, and their leaders were captured. Everyone received a full pardon, save for Ardris and his Dynasty. He was executed for inciting treason, and for his own traitorous actions. His lordship passed to his betrayer, and his family was exiled from the Vale, never to return. The Aldaos family fled to the Reach and began a small farming community. They intermingled with the Reachmen, growing to a sizable town by the end of a century, where we now stand.

Bhädrik is the eldest son of the eldest son of the eldest son of Ardris, the rebel lord. He spent his life dreaming of what his ancestral home would be like, and never imagined that he would see it, until now. With the Reach in full rebellion, Bhädrik has decided to take up his father's sword and fight to possibly reclaim his homeland.

Equipment: A suit of plate armour and chainmail used for battle and normal lordly clothing of cloth and leather, lavishly designed. Earwulf also possesses a finely made Osage bow and a rather plain longsword and dagger as well as a large oak and iron shield as although he is best at archery he is competent at most forms of battle. Earwulf also rides on a Andalusian horse named "Smoke"
Skills: Earwulf is a skilled archer and rider but his main skill lies in command and leadership. Earwulf is a very skillful general with a good mind for tactics and strategy although he lacks in experience and also prefers to lead from the rear as opposed to fighting with his men which can often lead to accusations of cowardice and lower morale. Besides this Earwulf is also fairly charismatic and a decent diplomat although he has a short temper.
Weaknesses: Magic is Earwulf's largest weakness, lacking in any magical ability or talent; Earwulf struggles greatly in even casting the most minor of spells despite most Reachmen being magically inclined. Earwulf is also headstrong and often blinded by arrogance.
Bio: Earwulf's father - Osfryd was lord of Atlas - the most easternmost province of The Reach during it's rebellion against the Ashen Empire. Due to this proximity and an ancient feud with the Rulers of Lenora Osfryd sided with the Empire and fought against his own people, forever known to the Reachmen as Osfryd "Turncloak". Instead of smashing the Reachmen and being crowned the new ruler of the Reach for his loyalty to the Empire instead the rebels won (thankfully not being able to invade Atlas however) and now Atlas sticks out like a sore thumb - the last remnant of the Ashen Empire in the Reach.

Earwulf was born in the 179th year of the 5th era, his father dying when he was only 8, plunging Atlas into a time of uncertainty where the county was ruled by a council of bickering knights and nobles who seemed to fall in and out of power. The lack of a strong father figure and the constant political strife poisoned Earwulf's mind as instead of helping with the young lord's education and grooming him for a life of ruling the various members of the regency council were only interested is their own political advancement. At first Earwulf simply became a bully, taking his angers and frustrations out on other children but as he aged without proper guidance this thirst for cruelty and violence turned darker leading to many trips into Atlas' expansive dungeons - the Atlas family being renowned in the old days as masters of torture.

On the day his regency came to end at Earwulf's 16th birthday all the members of the council were invited to a great feast Earwulf arranged. The merchants and knights ate and drank and danced until many were too drunk to stand and were corralled into the dungeons - never to be seen again. Although at first the people of Atlas celebrated their lord's coming of age the reality of the situation quickly set in and a melancholic hue has seemed to envelop life in the county with Earwulf leading a tyrannical regime and keeping his people in line only with fear. And while rumours have spread across Eroris of the lord's escapades the dying old emperor has yet to act and isn't powerful enough to keep Earwulf in check.

Personality: Earwulf is arrogant, cruel and ruthless. He could be accurately described as a psychopath, able to put up a front and feign normality while being charismatic but lurking just beneath the surface at all times is his true self. While Earwulf does seem awful he is also quite smart, refined and intelligent.

Very heavy and thick plate armor, looks a bit mismatched and bears deep scars from Tessor's constant battles, however it bears no sigils or signs of allegiance.

Weaknesses:Dealing with people in general, he's not subtle in the slightest.
Bio: The legend of Tessor, began several centuries ago, he first appeared during a drought where a lord was brutally treating his subjects. Tessor appeared from no where, charging into the lord's house, and slaughtered everyone in there, before disappearing. He stayed for a few days before disappearing. The next appearance was thirteen years later, half way around the world, stopping a marauding horde of orcs in a single night. Though this time, there were no casualties, the orcs came back, bringing the village gifts, apparently a very terrible misunderstanding.

Every time Tessor appears someone disappears, found later a husk of their former selves, horrific wounds all over their body. He's thought to be a violent demon, though every time he appears, his methods have been radically different. Sometimes he's kind and gentle othertimes he's a raging monster, slaughtering everyone who stands in the way of his unsaid goals.

Bio:
Do'virr had a pretty bad childhood. Born in a large city, it wasn't at all the sort of environment that a Raj liked. Not one that a Raj did well in too, normally. But Do'virr prospered. Liked in any city, there was crime. So he put his natural skills to use, and stole. Only little trinkets, here and there, most of the one, but it totalled up to a lot. As soon as he was old enough, he ran away from home.
Taking a ship, he made it to Eroris, and there began a certain little trade of his own. He became a bandit, which, combined with his hit and run tactics, proved very troublesome for most law enforcment and armies. He still runs solo, even today. Too many people can be seen easily, and he doesn't have to pay others if he works alone.

Spell Absorption (Only in the most extreme circumstances could Haruna bare her defences, taking a shot directly into her. While she takes damage from the spell, the mana expended to create it would be converted into her body, allowing her to use it as her body reverses the magical process, breaking the magic into it's raw mana components to feed herself. Haruna could only use this ability once a day, and is potentially fatal to her.)

Bio: Haruna was born of a lady of the Reach, in the town of Whitehall. Her Nordic father claimed her mother during a raid, leaving Haruna to be born of a rape. Treated like an outcast since her early years, Haruna grew up in a tough childhood, her slightly exotic features drawing both fear and awe from different children in the orphanage. Growing up, Haruna was found to be proficient in magic, but her aggressive nature born out of bullying caused her to lash out dangerously. In return for her safety, a teacher agreed to manipulate her powers into spells of restoration and haste, as well as going down a path of 'Anti-Magic' instead of all-out magical training, while teaching her the art of swordfighting and smithing.



Haruna's aptitude in magic caused her to gain a slightly quicker rate of regeneration, and her wounds from burns and cuts were able to be healed without scarring or blemish. When she reached the age of 18, Haruna was sent away to set up her own career, and she chose the life of a wandering mercenary. People called her the 'White Maiden' or the 'White Virgin' for her clothing in battle and , as well as her skill with the sword given her age. However, Haruna strives to work even harder, to create her own swords and earn enough money to move to the Capital one day.

Bio:
He had everything. A father who was a rising minor noble in the county of Atlas, a mother who was a successful intelligent healing mage. From a young age he was surrounded by the best tutors his father could afford, from the history of his home to the basics of magic. His childhood was one of blissful peace, yet he was not blind to the politics of the court. Even at age ten he could see the basic inner workings of the court. When he was 11 his father personally took over his studies, showing is eager young mind the ins and out of speech craft, of the tongue and magic. His mother showed him the ways of nature and magic,nurturing his budding magical talents. Yet, even with this is was not satisfied. He had little interest in putting his knowledge of politics to use, any earlier than he had to at least. He knew he would succeed his father one day, yet pledged to himself to avoid it at all costs until then. As he passed his teen years he started mimicking the best of the family arms men. And when he hunted he felt most comfortable, he quickly began shooting his bow at targets even when not hunting. As he turned 13 he began to sneak around, getting into mischief around the modest family estate and town. As the son of a noble he felt little repercussions, the common boys he dragged into his adventures did not get off with out a firm yelling. Over the years they eventually drifted off, whether due to his status or his trouble making. His outgoing personality quickly became more of a outer shell, he found more comfort in books and the shadows.

Through this time his father introduced him to basic sword fighting, first with a long sword then quickly shifting to a short sword. As he turned 15 he began to accompany his father to his work in the court. He quickly went from believing he understood every in and out of to realizing that he in fact understood very little. The next year and a half passed with little incident. He was too busy to cause mischief, his time spent either with his father in court, helping his mother as she worked with the sick and poor, or further time spent honing his skills of bow,shadow, and magic. When he turned 16 his father was quickly changing, no longer was he loving and bringing him everywhere. He suddenly appeared like he had aged a decade, doubling the guards and disallowing Eahfrid from accompanying him to the court any but one day a week. The change was clearly to do with the family wealth, on his 16 birthday he had received a dearly expensive cloak. A cloak filled with incantations of protection, a cloak of quality enough to be worn to court even with the High King. It was more than even his mother could do, and he himself was near hopeless for defensive spells. Shifting in color by a simple whisper, un-cuttable by anything short of a high quality dwarfan blade, the family accounts had been nearly drained in half by the cost of it. At first he was utterly confused at the quality of it, but he quickly realized that it wasn't meant as just a birthday gift. No, it was almost like a final measure to protect him by his father.

In any case, the next half year passed with his father becoming even more reclusive. Not himself going to Court but once a week, the family accounts were quickly drying up. Even with the income of the families land, businesses, and other sources it was slowly draining. That was when he realized his father had made a very bad financial deal. He had no idea to who, or what, but the fear of his father clearly meant someone powerful. Either that, or he was conspiring against someone. Either way Eahfrid realized that his inheritance was quickly becoming a thing of the past. He tried to confront his father, yet never managed to corner him. He rarely went anywhere with out a box of guards. As such, Eahfrid withdrew further within. Spending more and more time in town he began to cause mischief once more. His biggest adventure yet was to the Count of the Atlas and his estate. It was a stormy night, black skies and nearly as bad visibility. Nearly as bad as his adventure was inadvisable. He made his way quickly up, passing the walls with little challenge. A mixture of magic and stealth, he simply let himself in. In the kitchen was an apple pie, freshly made. I'm here,might as well. was the only arugment he made to eating it. And eat it he did, as he was quietly eating to his hearts content (he hadn't had lunch that day) in walked the count himself. Before he even had a chance to yell Eahfried was already well out the door. By the time any guards began to give chase he was already over the wall. Content with himself, he leisurely walked home.

When he arrived, the joy of his escapade quickly faded. The gate was broken, hanging by only one hinge in fact and the other door clean off and well inside the wall. Around it lay the crumpled bodies of the family guard. Bloodied, cold, and tossed aside like nothing. He ran, ran faster than even during his run from the count. The door to the mansion was clear three meters inside, a trail of purple and red blood being silently washed away by the heavy rains. As he crossed the threshold, short sword at the ready he heard a single scream from upstairs. His mothers scream. Before he could blink-his eyes- he was up the stairs, watching a group of three figure tower in front of his father. His father was covered in blood, his mother lay crumpled at his feet. With a single flash of blinding lighting they struck, overwhelming him in seconds. Stab. Stab. Stab. Over and over, short quick movements, laying waste to his unarmored fathers body. He screamed, preparing to lunge towards the attackers. It was at this that they turned, now noticing the young boy. As they slowly advanced Eahfried stood his ground, more out of panic than bravery. Yet, in among the last of his breaths his father muttered a faint incantation, yet powerful enough to simply turn the three men to dust.

As Eahfried rushed to the side of his dying parents, he embraced his mortally wounded father, muttering spells of healing in a desperate attempt to save him. His father simply put a hand on his shoulder, "There is little hope. Take my spellbook, leave and don't return. It will be looking for you, and it's minions. Don't go to the court they wil-" Cut short, a crossbow bolt lay now embedded in his heart. Looking up, the darkness of the night left little but a shadow, and even as Eafried looked the man was already running. The only thing he could do was mutter a spell of image, capturing a picture of his basic features upon a small piece of parchment on the ground.

He left several hours later, having burried his parents in a small plot in the rear of the estate,ensuring to mark the location. He took only a few things. His weapons, cloak, spellbook, picture, some money, and a horse. he had noone in this town, no connections to keep him. He had only one goal, vengeance for his parents death. No matter the cost.

Through out his life he lived rather in the shadow of the more important young noble named Eahfrid. However, he never let this get in his way. After all, even if his father was the chief guard of his family he was still of common birth. While he didn't have the same teachers available to Eahfrid, he still spent much time by both sun and candle light studying. As a young boy he often got wrapped up in mischief alongside Eahfrid. Yet even as the other boys began to drift away, he stayed. Eventually he began to work with Eahfrid's mother in her small shop, seeing her very much like a second mother. As the young noble grew more and more withdrawn, Hothere watched from a distance.

As the years passed, he began training with his father and the guard. He intended to become a guard, hoping to grow close to Eahfrid once more. Yet, as the elder Ealdhere grew more paranoid he barred him from training any further, accusing him of being some sort of agent. To say that he was devastated would be an understatement, his dreams thoroughly crushed as he turned 18 he began working in town as a young assistant to a local blacksmith. Yet, even then he kept an eye on the slightly younger teen. He could never quite place why he did, it was just his second nature. When the Ealdhere's were attacked, leaving both of Eahfrid's parents and Hothere's own father dead he set out to locate the now missing heir. He doubted he did it, but he couldn't let anything happen to the younger teen. So, he set off. With a horse from the estate guard, his sword and his fathers spare set of armor.

Bio: Hellmuth is not a high noble clan nor noble at all, but despite this it is considered to have the fiercest warriors in Norravägg. However, this would be a very interesting thing to bring up in a conversation except that Clan Hellmuth was nearly destroyed during a clan war. Lucky for us, Vrold Hellmuth, is one of the last surviving members of the clan. He was born near the end of the clans lifespan and was smuggled away under darkness to escape death. Vrold knows not of the people who killed his clan, but that won't impede in his life. After being smuggled out of the camp Vrold was taken way to an uncle who would watch over him until he reached manhood. As the young child grew so too did his knowledge of the Nord way of life and his long gone family. With Vrold having reached adulthood he took his life and moved on from his uncle, but would never forget his kindness.

The journey Vrold had set on had no particular place nor any objective. He set out to the world and put his skill to the test against those who would fight him in open combat. Many tried, but many lost their lives to him. Proper burials were always given to those he fought; it was customary after all. Whilst continuing his journey he worked various odd jobs to keep him on his way, but he favored mercenary work. It gave good money and always did like to get in the action. However, many mercenary groups band together, but also disband when their is no work. Vrold knew of this and he continued on his journey. Even now he does not know where he'll end up or who he'll help.

Bio:
Burghealm Seales was born in the coastal village of Iron Point. His father, who was a respected merchant, often took Burghelm on merchant trips across Eroris, which helped Burghelam become a skilled sailor. When Burghealm was 15, His father took him on a merchant voyage which would prove disastrous to both father and son. During the voyage back to Iron Point the ship was attacked by a group of pirates led by the infamous "Captain Blood" who immediately slaughtered the ship's crew and Burghealm's father and kidnapped Burghealm himself. Blood, who was originally planning to killing Burghealm, was impressed by the boy's sea smarts and tenacious attitude, decided to make him his cabin boy. During the first 2 years on Blood's ship Burghealm mostly did small jobs like cleaning the floors while being taught to sword fight by Captain Blood himself. During the 3rd year on the ship, Burghealm had his first taste of combat when Captain Blood decided to raid a merchant ship carrying a fortune of gold and silver, that of which was beyond Blood's wildest dreams. But, to Blood's anger, the treasure was thrown into the sea by the crew of the merchant vessel to keep it from falling into Blood's hands. Blood then ordered the death of every crew member on the ship and during this slaughter Burghealm killed his first man, the first mate of the ship whom he stabbed in the gut with a dagger.

For the next 12 years Burghealm served under Captain Blood and helped him raid ships all over the coasts of Eroris. During those 12 years however, Captain Blood obsessively searched for the gold and silver that was tossed from the merchant ship all those years ago convinced that the current washed it up on one the islands around Eroris. When Burghealm was 31, Blood attacked another merchant ship and during the battle Burghealm lost his left eye to a crew man who stabbed it with a dagger. After the battle, during which half of the crew died, Burghealm had his eye replaced with a glass replica the ship's doctor made. Three years after the battle on the eve of Burghealm's capture Blood anchored the ship near an island off the coast of Norravagg convinced he had finally found the treasure that had alluded him all those years ago. Blood vanished shortly after arriving on the island with a landing crew, leaving Burghealm as temporary captain and having his crew wonder what happened to their captain. After waiting a month, during which no sign of Blood was found, Burghealm, now elected permanent captain, left the island which is now called by sailors everywhere " Blood's Folly". Burghealm decided to continue Blood's reign under the name " Captain Grim The Glassed-Eyed" and is currently prowling the oceans near Eroris.

For the nine years, he served as a slave in Valyaarian mines before a slave revolt allowed for him to escape. Having disgraced his name among his tribe and made himself a criminal among the Valyaarians, he has spent the last four years maintaining himself as a hermit on the fringes of society, making what meals he can with the few plants and animals that he can capture. He has been slowly making his way east through the Reach, trying to take advantage of the abundant food, but his luck will soon run out...

Bio: Born in Snowhawk to Jarl Sorli of Hrafnfeldr,Jarl of Snowhawk, Valdr was raised as any heir to a Jarldom ought to be, to lead wars and rule lands, and that was Valdr's youth, but it was also found he was very perceptive and sharp, earning the name Raven Eyes after predicting the amount of time before an avalanche would occur and cause the death of the village in it's valley. When Valdr reached manhood, he was married to one of the High King's princesses, thanks to his father's high standing as Castellan to the High King, which was an envy to lordlings and suitors everywhere for the children of the High King were simply put, fair enough to put many elves to shame.

Later on, Sorli's spirit passed on and Valdr inherited the Jarldom, his wife Briar, and their three young children began their reign, it was then that Valdr discovered the chronicle Sorli had recorded, which was hidden away in a secret compartment in the Jarl's bedchambers. There it described Sorli's goal and plans and what Valdr was in the plan. Valdr and Briar were the key, Sorli saw the empire was falling and the High King was a man both old and content to hedonism and gluttony, while the rest of Noravaag chafed under the limits and difference to the old ways and the freedom they once had. Valdr and Briar were to lead a rebellion and establish a greater Noravaag kingdom. It has been one of Valdr's plots that he has spent years on, forging alliances, gaining coin and training soldiers, delivering messages and sabotaging others, all the while serving for the High King as his Marshal of the armies...time is soon approaching that Valdr's rebellion to begin

Kenna came from the First Era, from the long forgotten land as is his real name and history. But that matters not, what he tells those he teaches is that he was a great mage whom was an advisor of Orrin Stormcrown whom at one point, delved into necrotic magic in order to achieve immortality to achieve his own goals, and was punished to the way he is now, the Old Ones put him to rest to watch time go by, watching Rune Magic, the Old Ones, and the Kingdoms of Man fall away.

But now he has been given his penance, to roam Eroris and teach those whom follow the Old Ones of thier forgotten magic. Rune Magic, which is more powerful than the popularly used Elf Magic, however comes at a steeper price. Those who want to use Rune Magic must go through great suffering, beginner Rune Mages will find it extremely costly on their body and crafting Runestones to use is very time consuming. However masters can craft glyphs and runes in air without stones and can alter reality itself with the magic.

Everhall and I talked about the creation of the character and this type of magic and lore I will better describe here

The magic practice of Rune Magic was brought to Eroris from the forgotten continent by Humanity, different from the Magic practiced in Eroris today which is Elf Magic, Rune magic is part of the reason how the early Nords and humans built such great structures most notably the Wall of Orrin which still stands today.

Rune Magic is more powerful than Elf Magic, however that comes at a cost, Rune Mages must go through great suffering in order to hone themselves as practitioners, and new users will find themselves passing out and growing completely depleted of energy after using one Rune spell. Not to mention the work of crafting runes to use is a time consuming process, however as previously stated, Masters of the art can draw runes out of air and have a far greater supply of magic power and more complicated runes at their disposal.

However due to the far easier and less costly Elf Magic, the Ascended Religion, and disappearance of many Rune Masters, Rune Magic was lost to the ages, a forgotten art which the Lich teacher character I have here will be returning to those who follow the Old Ones and are willing to make the sacrifice for power.

.His Father a Lord of the Reach and his Mother a Lady from the Empire. They fell in love even though there differences but that changed when his Mother got Pregnant. His Parents Never wanted to have a child and being Mixed made them want to get rid of him as fast as possibly which they did and they left him in some small Village near the Reach-Ashen Border. He was only a few months old when an Old Wizard Called Azula Found him crying on the road. Azula had always had a Soft spot for kids and had never had his own so he checked with the people in the village if the kid was there's and when he was told that the Kid was left by a man and women who never turned back Azula Took the baby in and went to the Mage Sanctuary hidden in the Reach. Azula named the boy Syn but decided that the boy should pick his Surname. Syn was the only child in the Mage sanctuary as it was a School for those who wanted to learn magic hidden away from the Kingdom and influences of those in power. Syn Started to learn how to read and write early as he didn't have much else to do at the Sanctuary and this lead to him learning his first spell at the age of 4 which was a Minor Heal Spell. Azula saw Syn as he Heir and would teach him as much as he could so that Syn could pass it on to his Children and they to theirs. At the Age of 9 Syn had Learned a Handful of Spells. Syn had astonished the other people in the Sanctuary as they had never seen somebody learn so quickly. At the Age of 15 He began to learn how to sword fight and use a bow this would help him learn what he can do today. At the age of 23 Syn had Learned a good amount of Spells, Learned how to sword fight, Shoot a Bow. He decided to head out and face the world on his own as a man

Conjuration, rusty with blades and armour and would need more practice to use them proficiently again after nearly 15 years of on and off usage.
Bio: Dakota was born as the second son of the Marquess of a March on the Reach-Ashen border. The March was characterized not just by its fertile shires, which much of the Reach possessed, but its vast forests which defined its border. Dakota liked reading and spent much of his time in his father library. He read books on medicine, books on adventure, books on economics and politics, and books on nature mainly. On top of his recreational readings he received a good quality education from a private tutor who worked with the loremaster of the Dwarven capitol. In that way he gained a good sense of the realm. Of course his family didn't like him spending all his time in the house reading about the world, so his father had him spend time outside. To satisfy his curious nature and his thirst for knowledge, Dakota began his adventure outdoors by learning how to fight with sword and ride a horse. Quite standard for a child of noble birth. On one of his riding trips he came across a lumberjack camp and stayed their for the afternoon, quenching his thirst for knowledge. In this case, the knowledge of his fathers people and the local customs and economic services they engaged in.

Things changed at the age of 7 though. When he was 7 he went to the local knightly order who prayed to the same god as the church he went to every 7 days. The god of nature. Coincidentally so did his Tutor who was sent by the Dwarven capitol to help as a contact with the special priesthood of the Knights. Dakota went to the knightly order as a Page, assisting the order as a whole with small tasks and in return getting trained with small things such as riding, fighting, tracking, falconry, and the bagpipes. Overall the experience was a good one. When he turned 14 however, is when things took a turn. Many of the other pages joined with a single knight as their personal apprentice. One that they got along with on a personal level, held a join respect with, and possessed an admiration for for his skills, duties, and commemorations. Things changed however because unlike other students, who joined their knights, he was selected by a priest. The priests were men of high social standing, and magical ability. Men who gained their standing, not by birth, but by helping people. They nonetheless got the reputation by inheritance, and maintained it with their own deeds. Dakota joined with the priesthood as an apprentice to the priests historian. There he slated his lust for knowledge. However the priesthood didn't have as much written records as he was used to. Rather its knowledge was stored in the mind and transferred orally. Because of this, Dakota learned their language over the next 6 years. Over the next 6 years of his apprenticeship, Dakota helped the priests with their work, and their travels. Learning how to craft medicines from nature. Learning to speak with animals, and shape-shift into them, along with other things in nature. Learning how to use the magic of the priests. and learning how to travel across the land.

When Dakota was 20 he bathed and meditated for 12 hours before he was granted his mastership. When he was granted his mastership, he was given his own Druid staff to help him focus his energy. He was also given his own name from the order. He was called white eagle. A name that symbolized his wisdom and courage paired with his purity of spirit and creativity. Finally they gave him a mission to help cement his skills. He was tasked with stopping the mass deforestation of the northern forests. While he succeeded, he nearly caused an incident when he informed his father and the event almost devolved into a considered conspiracy to changed the border. When he succeeded in getting the foreign loggers to back off, he requested his father to allow him to found a logging company to take advantage of the woods. Reluctantly, his father agreed, only after assurances that every tree cut would be replanted to preserve the border.

That led to the creation of one of the first druid led logging companies. It was a major success, and gave him the money to travel the realm, cataloging plants, animals, and writings books with the things he'd learned inside. The 2 books with druidic secrets was reserved for the priesthood while the other 3 books with herbal remedies, and a detailed dossier on the plants, and animals of the reach, earned him a reputation for being one of the most knowledgeable men in the reach, and possibly the kingdoms, especially in relation to Herbs, Nature, and Arcana. Change came again when a few months after the release of his 5th book, 3rd for the public, his father passed away. His brother became the Marquess. A few weeks later his brother nationalized his logging company. In other words, his brother was envious of the amount of money Dakota was making and using to aid the things he cared for, and wanted the money for himself. By this time Dakota was 27. With the money dried up, he began to travel the land some more, this time living and sleeping outdoors (Sometimes as a human, sometimes as an animal, sometimes as a tree depending on the danger and desire) and on occasion sharing his oral stories inside public houses in exchange for room and board. This continued to the present day.

<What could that sound be?> Dakota thought to himself. The soil was cool under his moccasins and the wind felt as good as gold against his face. Turquoise green eyes squinted into the increasingly orange horizon. A trio of birds chipped overhead. Fools birds, that's what he'd called them in his book. One foot etched forward, stopping only at the faint sound of a click. Looking down, the eerie sight of a branch called his gaze home. The foot retreated back to its original stance, and his body flung around. A piece of rounded wood tied together by string and the blessing of the divine God of nature came to view, gripped by the hand of a Reachman. Another hand came forth with an arrow of wood and goodwill. Carefully the two became entwined, like two peas in a pod. A snort pounded itself against the Druids face. The snort of a quadroped. But not a moose was it. Nor a deer. No mere deer could pronounce the snort that had just been flung upon him. No, this was an elk. The lord of the forest. Or at least that's what it's snort told him it wished to be referred as. Quite typical of elk really, fairly full of themselves, especially as it was mating season. The Druid nodded his head and took a step back, cracking the branch he'd tried to avoid earlier and all the fools birds looked down upon him. Silent they were, and stupid perhaps, but nobody wanted them rattled for in their mouths lay a poison like no other. Emotional hatred. A wall of insults targeting every part of the body. They prey on the weak. Not the physically weak, but those weak of self-esteem. Even the strong eventually fall pry in there darkest hours, he had to escape the monsters. His footsteps turned from slow, calculated steps, to steps of speed and precision. Steps that had been made thousands of times before on thousands of errands and adventures. There'd be no failure here or now. Behind him he could hear the birds. "You run like an elephant, trampling everything in your path.".

Bio: Born one calm summer day almost 46 years ago in Frosthold, Alaric was the first son and heir to the noble Nordskov family. He grew up clearly being his parent's favorite, getting the best education, and always taking the attention away from his siblings (though he tried to be as humble as possible). His father would take him to court whenever possible, to show him the ways of leadership.

When he was 36, tragedy struck when his younger brother, Yrain, murdered their brother Valdemar and assaulted their sister. Though he despised Yrain for what he did, he still convinced his father not to have him executed. A few months later, his beloved wife died giving birth to twins, and Alaric vowed to never remarry. A year later, his father died of illness, leaving Alaric as the Jarl of Nør. Despite all his education, Alaric found himself utterly unprepared to rule and ended up stressed to no end.

Bio:
Born to slave parents in the province of Valyaria his childhood was marked by tragedy, pain and humiliation.

Separated from his parents when he reached his teen years he was forced to work in infrastructure for his masters. Soon he met other young Orc blood and quickly assumed a role of leadership naturally as he was stronger and taller than his peers already.

As the years past he became close to his friends and he grew each day from the harsh working environment that he lived in. They always knew that if they kept going on the path they were on they would forever be nothing but slaves. Yet none of them acted out of fear. Tragedy struck when a couple of his closet friends were killed by an accident while working. They did not receive proper burials by the master and Barog, who was at this time 20, and the others were forced to bury them someplace quiet.

That incident lit the sparks in Barog's heart. After that day he observed his master with hatred. The thought of revenge engulfed his mind. Days turned into months and months into years. The Orc began to watch the actions of his master, realizing one day that that his people were not viewed as fellow Elfen, not even slaves but as tools. Barog hated and as he hated he began to come upon a very radical idea...rebellion of the Orc against all the other Elven peoples.

He spread this idea to his group of now 5 mates and they all believed that this would be the right path to take if the Orc were to be released from the chains of slavery forever. Thus a plan was set, a plan that would take a span of 2 years.

One fateful morning when their wealthy Valyar master who had grown naiive, thinking that his Orc slaves who had served him since youth would never oppose him, faced a bunch of Orc men that had grown strong through the chains of slavery. Soon an Elven man was slain by make-shift weaponry by the Orc.

After a period of quick scavenging for supplies the group of 6 Orc led by Barog escaped the estate towards the wild lands. It was from there that they launched attacks against Elven villages and travelers. The raids were at first just stealing for food but they evolved into the stealing of weaponry then finally to violent attacks which saw the mutilation and hanging of Elfen people from trees.

Their priority was to always ensure the freedom of other Orc slaves, all their attacks were purely for this sole goal. As their numbers rose and growing a reputation for indiscriminate violence towards other Elfen Barog’s band named themsleves, ‘’Blades of Freedom’’. But Barog knew that his actions would not be enough for his ultimate goal of a mass Orcish uprising against the whips of their Onyaar masters.

After decades of growing his band in the deep, almost unhabitable wild while suffering losses and tragedies against the many warriors sent to hunt them down word finally came to him of the hidden Orcish strongholds that remained the last sanctuaries for all Orcish.

Leading his now hundred strong Orcish raider band there to the stronghold of Korrag. The journey to the mountains was not easy, not easy at all. But Barog’s will remained firm and finally they reached the Orc stronghold. What he saw there angered him.

There was fierce infighting between chiefs for power and the ridiculous aim to grow their harems! Though anger burned Balthazar was patient, spending time watching quiet (sometimes even influencing outcomes of certain conflicts between tribes) while massing his followers in the shadows with the promise of greatness for all the Orc. This was the beginning of a 20 year effort, filled with setbacks and more deaths of his comrades yet Barog's almost unnatural iron will remained unshaken.

At last it was deemed right for the Orc people to finally see the light.

A black sky seemed to sweep over a certain Orc stronghold by the name of Gha Kurdrugh as a lone, unknown giant Orc warrior approached the gates of the village and roared a challenge while being under the range of arrow tips aimed at him from the village walls.

He had challenged the Chief of Gha Kurdrugh to a duel for the title of chiefdom. The Chief was a renowned warrior, having slaughtered countless fellow Orcs for his crown. The Chief’s massive form soon rose from the stronghold’s entrance and thunder crackled as two warriors, each with very different goals, faced each other…

Class: Sorcerer mainly focused on fire magic and a special type of magic native to his land that is a mixture of fire and sand magic known as desert wind

Weaknesses: He can over exert himself when using divine wind and can cause himself to burn out if you will leaving him vulnerable to attack, not the best melee fighter.
Bio: No one really knows where Maaiz came from and information about him is spotty at best but if you where to ask him this is what he would tell you. He was born in the land of Copher, a distant continent in the east, even more east than valyria, in this land Sultans rule mighty, wealthy, and mystical desert kingdoms, but it is far from peaceful since all claim to be the descendant of the High Sultan Jafar who united Copher into one mighty Sultanate during the Alafar period. Maaiz was born in the city of Alfazat to a minor noble family in the Sultanate of Alfazat one of the more weaker kingdoms in the area. Growing up it was apparent that he had mystical abilities that far overpowered the sultans own court wizard Abdul, the Sultan hearing of the boy took him into his court to be trained in the arts of Copherin magic. Abdul grew envious of the boy and attempted to murder him but he was caught and banished into the desert by the sultan. When Maizz was 16 he was given a task by the sultan to prove himself worthy of becoming the court wizard, one, he had to find the lamp of hakaz which contained a genie that would grant the user three wishes, two, he needed to slay the Sand giant Hassan who was raiding villages in the area and finally he needs to find the book of the desert wind, a lost book which teaches the magical arts of Desert wind. With these tasks Maaiz began his quest

The lamp was guarded 200 thieves who stole it from the great sand wizard, Maaiz seeing the challenge in getting past two hundred thieves waited untill night fall so he would hopefully sneak past them while they slept. To be sure they stayed asleep he put a sleeping potion in their well. Eventually he stole the lamp from the thieves and fled the area before they awoke, the scond task was more of an issue, for Hassan knew he was coming and was awaiting him. Maaiz once again had to think his way through this, he then decided to do a risky spell called the phoenix of Copher, if is succeeded it would land a giant flaming phoneix on the giant casuing massive burns on him and killing him but if he screwed up the spell he would be nothing more but ash on the desert floor. He began the spell just as Hassan spotted him and charged the young wizard. To Maaiz's surprise he succeeded in the spell and killed Hassan but he was left severely weakened by it and would be unable to cast any more magic for the rest of the quest. The book was surprisingly easy to obtain than the book, all he had to do was solve the riddle of the Dijin which he solved after a day of thinking, With these tasks accomplished he returned to the city and was named court wizard of Alfazat.

After 20 years as court wizard and even viser he was given a new task by the sultan Ali, he was assigned to voyage across the sea and visit the lands to the west in hopes of establishing trade and diplomatic relations along with possible colonization with a few of the islands in the area there, over the years he had developed his magical abilites but he was always seeking new types of magic to acquire to master so he agreed to this expedition and began his voyages, After a brief stop off at valyaria he landed in the mainland as is currently traveling through the continent showing the wonders of Copher and gathering information about this empire while slowly gathering new tomes of magic
