Equipment: Frequently uses his Elven sword forged by a blacksmith known to most as the master craftsmen for the Imperial Family as well as a full set of Elven armour and Shield specially decorated with the Symbol of the Imperial Family. He is rarely seen without his necklace showing his faith to Yvlovus.

Weaknesses: Is extremely compassionate and often finds it difficult to attack without being provoked. More competent in defending against an advancing enemy.
Bio: Born in the 141st year of the 5th Era, Arlen is the youngest son to the recently deceased Emperor and youngest brother to the current Emperor Ruven. Due to his young age he often found himself becoming the shadow of his elder siblings success but as he aged he proved himself to be an excellent scholar. Often matching and even sometimes beating his elders at archery and swordfighting he has proven himself to be a worthy adversary to even the strongest opponent.

As his brothers did before him he went on the tour around Eroris on the 20th year of his birth. During his time he witnessed both the wonders and horrors to be seen in the vast lands he called home. However his tour was cut short when the war between the Reach and the Ashen Empire started. In the war the somewhat inexperienced Arlen was assigned to lead a century of 100 Legionnaires as Centrurion, a mixed group of mostly Mayaar and Reachmen hastily assembled and improperly briefed. These men collected from destroyed Centuries found themselves at great odds, unable to fight together and without proper leadership the group began to break down. The obvious tension due to the fact that the Reachmen were seen as incompetent fighters in the war by the Mayaar as they were fighting their own kind. However, during one skirmish Arlen placed the Reachmen ahead of the Mayaar legionnaires and the Reachmen quickly proved their worth defusing the tension within the group. As the war went on this group of misfits and strangers became one of the few mostly intact fighting groups of the war. After the war the group would be assimilated back into the Cohorts but upon strong request by Arlen they were granted special status as some sort of Imperial Guard to Arlen.

It was not long after the war that yet another war started but this one would see no major victory and Arlen would be a man forever changed by the events of the war. Leading troops this time as a Tribune to the Primus Pilus Aquilan he was assigned to fight the invading enemy head on by being a part of the counter attack. The attack proved to be nothing short of a massacre with very few legionnaires making it out alive. Arlen himself fought on the battlefield witnessing his brothers-in-arms fall at his feet with no mercy. Arlen himself slew many of the enemy but it was not enough and soon he was ordered to retreat. On his way back to the Capital his men were ambushed constantly and when they finally arrived within the great walls of the Great City it was only days when the Akounateen invaders would attack. Arlen watched as his remaining comrades fell to the blades of the invaders and when he was told to retreat he stood his ground with his remaining men guarding the Palace from the invaders. It would not be enough, Arlen and their men barely made it out alive but not after defeating many of the enemy. Finally listening to the order to retreat to higher ground he would watch helpless as his home burned at the hands of the invaders. After the sacking of Isnhiron Arlen grew a hatred of the Akounateen invaders and volunteered to lead men to Akounateen camps to lead on raids. His raids proved mostly successful killing the invaders in their sleep and taking their weapons. Arlen himself took a weapon as his prize keeping it in his satchel for the war before hanging it up at his residence.

After the war Arlen saw that the 20 survivors of his Guard were given a raise in pay and permanent residence in the Isnhiron. Arlen was given the rank of General soon after the war. The Empire having lost many officers during the wars required those that had prior military experience to rise to the higher ranks to fill the empty spaces and Arlen was seen as a perfect candidate. As his father grew ill in the 198th year he offered what help he could trying his best to visit his father every day. However once his father passed away he mourned his death for many weeks, once he had finished his loyalty now lay in his oldest brother Ruven.

I could always come up with several metals, including Silverine which I was planning to be an alloy of high carbon steel, with elements of melted silver providing the finish in order to allow protection of the flat blade, as well as allowing a stronger connection between wielder and weapon when calling out magic.

Could always come up with an ore, perhaps call it Onyxium, a black ore which was extremely hard to forge, mainly because it's extremely hard but brittle that it cannot be made into a bar alone. Once smelted, it has to be wrapped by steel alloy before the cooling stage, where it would provide an extremely tough core to the blade, preventing snapping which might occur if the high carbon steel was used alone.

There's also the unnamed metal I came up with that forms the blade of the Nordskov ancestral sword, Winter's Fury. It's nigh-indestructible and sharp enough the cut a man in half vertically with little effort, it also has a strange glowing and rippling effect that can only be seen when it's dark.

But what are the chemical properties which allow for it to be 'indestructible', and yet able to be manipulated out of an ore into a smithing product, and reforged into a shape and actually sharpened into a blade?

Note that my super-hard metals made up the core, not the entire blade. I'm not wanting to go into the usual fantasy-talk about 'indestructible weapons' therefore my explanation on the metal or rather the alloy.

The Wars of the Stormcrown were the 1st Era Wars that followed the untimely death of Orrin Stormcrown's grandson, Ulfric. When he died, that set off the ten wars of succession known as the Wars of the Stormcrown were most of Orrin's family were killed. Most of the ruins of Norravagg ate ruins because of that event. In the last war something strange and catastrophic destroyed almost all of the House of Stormcrown, and the Legendary Castle Stormgard. No one knows what happened but that ground were these ruins are somehow cursed. Everyone that inhabits these ruined settlements eventually die a painful death.
