What's the standard charge (how many shoots) on you plasma rifles? The M83A7 Assault Rifle, which is a conventional weapon, has a standard magazine size of 40.

The standard charge for the plasma rifles is 30, though some sniper models have a function where the shooter can enhance the strength of one shot at the cost of the overall charge of the rifle.

For laser rifles, the standard charge is higher, with the most common charge being 40, belonging to the QRT-275.

The Pulse Cannon became standard issue roughly 1,000 years ago. It replaced numerous laser and kinetic weapons in service in that time period.

Conventional for practically everything, although the technology to make energy weapons is there. The Ruin hasn't come against any threat that pieces of metal won't deal with, and conventional is cheaper to make (for us at least.)
