The OP lists several species one may play as; it's a (near) exclusive list, and there are no humans. And your humans will have to wait until the magic mirror opens, and there's going to be some changes.

Define going after.

If you mean a chase scene of some sort, like Pherdistan proposed, I guess we can do that. If you mean the Temple specifically targeting her for some reason, well, I wouldn't really see much reason for them to do that; if there's anyone they would specifically target, they would probably attempt some sort of high-profile assassination against Razor Wing or one of the other high-ranking changelings, as opposed to specifically attacking a mere private like FF.

I'm working on a post, now; I just have a quick question. Seeing as Mayor Waterforge Brace specified they will be our first and primary means of defense in case the encounter does get violent, does this mean he is open to compromise and negotiation, or would he be entirely determined to fight the rebels?

Politician-speak is always vague like that. The Blue Party, of which Waterforge is a part, is somewhat pacifist (though it is often a veneer for fiscal conservatism as applied to defense), so his choice of words was to keep up ideological appearances. Right now he sees an immediate violent encounter as nearly inevitable. He just expects the rebels to fire first, the defense notwithstanding.

However, if pushed hard enough, Waterforge would compromise. I don't know how much the rebels will be satisfied by appointments to mid-level government positions (particularly legal counsel or in police oversight commissions), or discriminatory changes in the way the police investigate crimes committed by or against changelings (though he certainly risks making him corrupt or appear to be corrupt), but that will be his offers, take it or leave it.
