Yes they will. They left from Western Texas not Dallas. It's only a two hour journey so they are there.

1. It has been forty minutes.
2. You concentrated all your troops at Houston, and the coast, remember? I already let the ones at the northern border slip.

Yeah, Reed and Egazarian are going to look kinda bad after this. Bell gets to justify that spending, at least.

Central. Still close enough they already responded and are fine with it so let it go unless it really bothers you.

Given that it is a four-hour plus journey, not counting getting ready, and it has only been two hours, there is an issue there.

I suppose there could have been 100 normal soldiers that were on the border and made it, though the helicopters are pushing it. It is a small enough number that it can be excused.

They would need to be sent over to Waco, then back to Holloman, so it would take some time.

Guinea Pigs, my friend. The actual fifteen-week regime is substantially more formal and sane-and also a lot more boring.

Bah, the CSA training is essentially all on the job training, a 20 week long training course along with a one week refresher course every year.

60 percent obstacle courses
30 percent field exercises
10 percent parades and theory

Woah, 20 weeks? That is crazy. That is twice as long as Army training, and in a time when training ought to be shorter. Freedonian training is only so long because of a lot of extra stuff they tack onto the actual soldiering stuff. I would suggest (though do whatever you like) that you cut it down to eight weeks or so, twenty just seems unnecessary, diminishing returns are huge at that point.

Most CSA service members have a secondary specialization, and some even have tertiary specializations. For instance the average soldier of the 2nd armoured can function as both as an engineer or Sapper(though not as good as actual sappers and engineers) and an infantryman. They are supposed to be a versatile elite force, supplemented by numerous militia that could be mobilized in war.
