Texas steamrolled California with some help from Mexico and the RMU held Ed distract them by taking the North.

I will give you a better one once I get back to a computer, and I have a post coming that will add.more details, but in short.

Mexico, after California's earlier attacks on them, rebuilt and prepared for war.

They grabbed Texas into it.

Invasion, first battle around San Diego, Mexicans successful.

TexMex headed north, RMU invaded, and California pulled everything back to deal with them. L.A. taken. California invades Mexico via amphibious assault. Texan Navy, fleeing from California, is sold to Borinquen.

RMU driven out. Californians head south.

Major battle in the south. Kiser betrays Mexico, his General countermands the order, and he eventually sticks with them. RMU slips back in, takes near-defenseless Sacramento.

Negotiations. Kiser undermines negotiations until forced back into them. Looks like negotiations are going to fail until Confederacy threatens to enter the war if a certain set of terms are not accepted. They are, war ends.

Mexico gets about up to. L.A., RMU gets much of the thinly populated north and east.

Peace negotiations. Kiser

They could use more, but they are not starving. The previous government was buying from Freedonia, then they had some lean times, but Freedonian merchants are exporting food there in increasing quantities.

i'm with Kelvinsi on this, sure I could see you eventually years down the line have a very high quality class of soldiers, though a few months into training they would be elite rookies more or less.
