Probably not, but they could hit a weak point such as eyes or fingers.

Vital organs are under almost a foot of muscle and bone. That's unlikely with anything but a large caliber gun or cannon. Same for arteries.

My point is 16th-17th century pistols could pierce breastplates but not the clothing worn behind it, 15th century would do less. And Pretentia supports my point a bit.

A volley to the eyes is a mission-kill though. Bullets could probably break fingers as well.

Not against early rounds. A heavy, slow round is gonna be ugly on open muscle and skin. A small, fast round will do jack though. It's not like these are hard targets.

They're also pseudo-amphibians, so attacking with fire, damming rivers, and covering bodies of water in poison could work.
