Hey Gambia. Could you add a code onto the APP? It would make finding them easier.

The Greater Gambia wrote:So I've got a question for everyone, what's the flora and fauna like in everyone's nations?

Well up in themountains, you'd see the same things you'd likely see in counties like Napal, like yaks, snow wolves, white tigers, snow leopards and the prey such things they feed on. Grasslands would likely be akin to Asian ones, and there'd be more tribals about who don't answer to the Celestial Empire's authority. The forests might hold the same creatures expected in such locations in Asian countries (I generally imagine my nation like an Asian country.) There might be other dragons about the area other then Cynder, but they would likely prefer not to be found.

For the Barasheen, it varies from region to region. In the mountains, the vegetation and wildlife is similar to the Himilayas with Forests full of Taiga deer, Takin, Snow Leopards, and various other animals. The mountains are also home to Rocs, giant Eagle like creatures that nest in the mountains and fly down into the desert to hunt. They have been known to lay waste to entire villages. Few have been able to kill them and those that due are highly regarded in their communities. It is also said the mountains are home to the Wolf God, Hana and the last pack of Wild Wolves that serve as her protectors. This causes many Barasheen from across the desert to go on pilgrimages to the mountains in search of the home of the Mother Wolf, but face perils such as bandits, avalanches, and the wildlife.

The desert itself is very inhospitable, but life still finds a way. small foxes, herds of Gembok and other types of Oryx travel from oasis to oasis, camels, giant scorpions and spiders, and Serpent men that live in underground caverns and launch attacks on various nomadic barasheen tribes that also call the desert home. The legendary Sand Drakes, dragon-like serpents that travel through the sand, also call the desert home. While they may appear like dragons, they lack their intelligence, making them no more than another animal. Still, they are a great hazard to anything living in the desert.

While some of the same species live on the coasts, they are much more tolerant of life. The uninhabited parts of the coast can be seen with massive groups of seals and other aquatic mammals. In the water lies the real danger. Sea Serpents and various other monsters travel the sea, posing a hazard for both foreign and Barasheen sailors alike.

Unlike the Cold heights of the Barasheen mountains and the burning sands of the desert, the grasslands and small forests on the banks of the river serve as a sanctuary for all forms of life. Many Barasheen have established villages and farms along the banks of the river as it is one of the most fertile areas in the region. Small Elephants and rhinos similar to those found in India travel from side to side of the river. Hippos can be found along the banks while herds of Black Buck graze along the grassland. The river region is still a dangerous place, however. Cheetahs, lions, crocodiles, and Tigers hunt along the banks of the Barasheen River. There are also stories of tribes of WereHyenas, tribes that sought power from the two headed serpent god, Thueban, only to be tricked and inflicted with the curse.

You don't usually "stumble" across a capital. A small town, maybe. But not the entire capital. There would have been major amounts of traffic around the area, giving clues to a large civilization in the area.

Just saying.

True, just trying to make a grand entrance, but I can go "mundane" and stumble on a patrol or village.

Sorry but i think i'm going to have to drop this RP.
I don't have any creative input going into this and i think it's because im unfamiliar with Nation RP's, so you can scrub my nation off the list and use the land for someone else.
Yo, that's mad.
