That's the plan for Altmarkt

It may have worked in the past, but at this point, the Vandulians are fanatically devoted to destroying Altmarkt. We are prepared to wage total war against the city and its defenses, casualties and costs be damned.

Also, I am considering having the Emperor die in the battle. Considering that he would be leading the Vandulians into the city, once they break past the city walls and make it underground, he would probably be shot by an Ethian sniper.

I often forget how fast ships can travel, and that you'd prepared the invasion in advance.

NS Nation Name: The Great Korean Empire
RP Nation Name: The United Kingdom of Aurelian States
Race (Human, Elf, other): Human because we are superior

-Nation
Population (No More than 5 Million): 3.4 Million
History and Culture:

The Aurelians were at first a group of twelve human tribes organized from a loose collection of towns and cities, but they soon began to unite and form the beginnings of a kingdom. Unfortunately divisions soon appeared and the tribes broke off and formed their own states, four to be exact. However despite these divisions many things still united the Aurelians such as the fact that they all were members of the Eesaian Church of God (believing in Eesa the Father, Eesa the Son, and Eesa the Holy Spirit, the One and Only Triune True God), that they considered each other as one people (Aurelians), and a common history, one of being taken from their homeland into slavery and of being delivered from the chains held by the Pharons of Mulhorand by Eesa.

The Aurelians soon began to solidify into a confederation of states, with the goal of expanding their territory. The Aurelian's history of being invaded, oppressed, and even enslaved had lead them into becoming a militaristic culture. The disunity among the immediate surrounding rulers and new military innovations allowed the Aurelian crusaders to rapidly overcome any opposition, as they expanding taking city by city. Eventually the surrounding area was soon unified under the confederation, with the various rampaging warlords crushed, and order being established. However the people soon grew restless for a truly unified country, while the upper classes sought to consolidate their power, and thus a council was held between the respective governments of the four states within the City of Yerushalayim.

Arguments occurred over what type of government should taken form. Some wanted a democracy, others wanted an aristocracy, while others still sought after a monarchy. Thus off course a compromise occurred with the creation of a mixed government as proposed by the famous philosopher Lennox, with aspects taken from each the three systems of governments, the people had advocated for, though the government has since evolved to meet the demands of the state. Thus the first Imperator was elected from the group of nobles that would eventually become the Senate and crowned by the Bishop of Yerushalayim. Imperator Godwinson I was recognized as the new and first leader of the United Kingdom of Aurelian States. Godwinson being vastly powerful, wealthy, and popular among both the nobility and citizens was seen as an excellent choice.

Godwinson I proved to be an able ruler, going off to secure both the new kingdom and his reputation against neighboring kingdoms of man and elves, orc hordes, and troublesome pirates. He vastly expanded the Kingdom's boundaries through multiple expeditions, transformed a decentralized alliance into a strong, centralized state, established a tributary system with their weaker neighbors, and built a strong defense against what the Aurelians viewed as heathens, infidels, and barbarians. His reign also saw the establishment of the first written codes of law, the groundwork for an effective infrastructural system,a stable currency and various commercial treaties, and the banning of all false religions.

Off course that was over centuries ago. Since the reign of Godwinson the Great, all those centuries ago, the United Kingdom of Aurelia has since flourished. The United Kingdom of Aurelia is a land of literature, philosophy, and the arts, with the capital city of Yerushalayim having since become the epicenter of literature, philosophy, and the arts, within the Kingdom. It has since amassed vast wealth fueled by rich mineral deposits and mercantile trading across the seas. This has allowed for the building of great public works, while complex irrigation systems and alchemical fertilizers grow plentiful amounts of crops to feed hungry mouths. Cities are also viewed as the centers of civilization, being organized into ordered neighborhoods and decorated with it's public gardens, running water, and marketplaces.

Aurelian culture is one based upon the notions of civic virtue, human equality, and piety as well as the importance of knowledge and physical training. Science and magic has flourished with support from both the Church and the State as Aurelians believe that scientific and magical knowledge are the blueprint of God's Creation and that thus should be practiced and controlled in the name of God. Aurelians particularly specialize in alchemy and theoturgy, though necromancy has been banned and the practice is considered treason. Aurelians also hold great value over logic, reason, and rationality viewing them as God-given gifts, in fact many famous Aurelians were involved with literature, the arts, and philosophy. Aurelians also tend to wear lighter clothing.

The Eesaian Church and the Aurelians also hold all other religions as false, though they will allow their existence. Aurelians are also a heavily militarized culture due to past expansions and a history of being threatened by foreign powers. Aurelians also have many holidays and cultural festivals, especially their famous masquerade balls. The importance of physical training has lead to healthy bodies, minds, and lifestyles, with hallucinogenic substances being used solely for medical purposes and trade. Aurelians are also known as great craftsmen as shown by their high grade carbon steel and flexible glass. They are also a maritime civilization, with a vast merchant fleet bringing goods to and from the Kingdom. Aurelians are firm believers in rule of law and higher law (namely eternal and natural), and also have the tendency to embark on missionaries to spread the Eesaian faith.

The central government formed consisted of the Imperator (the monarch), elected from the Senate and crowned by His Holiness, the Bishop of Yerushalayim. The Imperator would head the Council of Twelve, composed of twelve advisers that are chosen based on merit (at least in theory anyway). Each adviser would also head a different ministry concerned with the affairs of the state. This would conclude the make-up of the executive branch. The Imperator's power though vast is not absolute, as he is limited by the other branches.

The legislative branch known as the consists of the upper chamber (known as the Senate consisting of 480 members of nobility and the position of Senator being hereditary) and the lower chamber (known as the Assembly which consists of an increasing number of legislators according to the population of each province and are to be elected by the people, furthermore to be elected one must also meet economic and literacy qualifications). The Senate is charge of confirming treaties, laws, and governmental appointments of the Council of Twelve and their respective departments, and is headed by the Princeps. The Assembly is in charge of creating laws and is headed by two Consuls.

The Council of State would act as an independent, permanent judiciary, and the "final authority"" on the interpretation of the law for administrative cases (though they could be out-ruled by the Moral Power). The Moral Power meanwhile consists of two chambers (the Morality Chamber and the Education Chamber). The Moral Chamber has the final authority over civil and criminal cases, whilst also having the responsibility to help guide the moral opinion throughout the entire Kingdom, to punish wrongdoing with opprobrium and infamy, and to reward public and civic virtues with honor and glory. The Education Chamber consists of scholars chosen by merit and examinations from the Royal State Academy and confirmed by the Church, it would in charge of the physical and moral education of adolescents from their birth until they reached adulthood.

The Supreme Tribunal consists of three offices headed by the three state inquisitors, whose purpose is to guard the security of the United Kingdom from all threats, internal and foreign. The Office of Inspection monitors government administration and officials at each level in both central and local governments for corruption, malfeasance, or inefficiency. They are also responsible for writing, compiling, and maintaining both government and historical records. The Office of Special Advisers oversees both the Royal Library and the Royal State Academy. They are also in charge of preparing future governmental officials through the Royal State Academy. The Office of Special Advisers also serves as a unofficial diplomatic service. The Office of State Security is an investigative and enforcement organ under the direct control of the king. It chiefly deals with espionage, counter-espionage, internal surveillance, security services, and special operations. They also have to power to investigate, arrest, imprison, and carry out sentences against suspected offenders, who are considered threats to the Church and State.

The Eesaian Church whilst having no official temporal power, it does wield immense moral authority over all Aurelians, with the Pope, also known as the Bishop of Yerushalayim not hesitating to exert it when necessary. His Holiness also has under his command the church militant organization known as Pax Dei which consists of thirteen elite military and intelligence sections, which have been operation for the last two thousand years, defending both the Eesaian Church and mankind itself. They answer directly to His Holiness alone, being exempt from even the authority of the Imperator.

Ruler: Imperator Joseph II

At the young age of 24 years old, Imperator Joseph Adam has only recently ascended to the throne. He is decidedly, one of the most enlightened and vigorous monarchs to ever reign in Aurelia. Joseph was born in the city of Ascalon and he was educated through the writings and teachings of the Church and the philosophers of old. Government officials were directed by his mother Christina to instruct him in the details of administration, military strategy, and economics. As a Senator those that would meet him would describe him as impressive and ambitious, with the capability of setting the world on fire. And through his natural talent in cut-throat politics, sheer determination, and the resources of one of the most powerful Houses in Aurelia, he was able to maneuver his way into being elected the new Imperator with the passing of Imperator Francis I. He is now in the process of organizing a definite system for the good of all, to make his people as happy as it suits human nature.

Never mind.

Actually, none. The creation of new life is such complicated and advanced technology that it is unattainable by medieval magic.

Now if it's just moving from one point to another... Still probably no. Contemporary Thaumaturgy is incapable of teleportation.

So we've got border tension, prelude to war, a possible arranged marriage, and exploration in IC? Just trying to think of something to do that isn't already being done.

If Necromancy is pouring energy into animating what was, then theoretically a necromancer could map or trace the cadaver being animated. From there, now knowing what is in it, it wouldn't be a large step to copy or clone whatever it was. You only have to know what was in it by relative proportions and where they go, you wouldn't have to know what the individual parts themselves actually are.
I'm really tired
