What do you guys think of a sea monster that is a giant mantis shrimp with glowing red eyes?

They come seeking artifacts related to their faith. As part of a reason to get them to Altmarkt they have reason to believe that such artifacts can be found hidden in or around the city.

Mantis shrimp can shatter glass and kill animals with their punches, so I can only imagine the devastation a giant mantis shrimp would cause to the world.

I'm just throwing ideas out. I have been entertaining the idea of sea monsters near my island recently. My island is owned by the Vaark Family but not all of it is entirely explored or inhabited.

As I said, there are other options.

Even still, if you look at the map, most of the Vandulian nation is in the desert. The Vandulians have adapted to the desert climate, so we would know how to survive in the desert.

Then you would know that the defender has an almost insurmountable advantage. Your only hope is to hit him bu following a coastal route. Otherwise all he has to do is sit on the oasis's and let you thirst and starve.

You do realize that he has the same problem if he attacks me, right?

And no, he does not have an "insurmountable advantage".

Would it be okay for me to have a wagon/boat hybrid? While planning my way to the Celestial Empire, I realized that there were a few rivers in my way, and I figured, hey, if I could have my wagons be part boat, I could probably cut down my journey time. Ride half way, sail the other half.

Second post I made in the IC, had some Gol numbered 15, swinging in trees an acting like apes and monkeys but stop to mark around the area on maps.
