Everyone is less crazy than Rachel. The only person that comes close and isn't controlled by Gal is probably Zamiel, and that's more sadism than insanity.

Yes, it's the same set of people, but it's not a reset. They have no connection to other universe, so therefore would have no way to have their memories.

I do understand how he could have some ties though. The character is already a universe Hopper, and may have hopped once or twice in the SAME universe the other nightshade did. This could actually lead to a very interesting subplot, showing the true dangers posed by dimension jumping....

Nightshade doesn't really HOP universes, so much as he's immortal because of his curse. Theoretically, that would mean time would stop for him physically, and time and space are connected. Thus space would be something that could easily get messed-up for him, as well. Thus, he could have potentially fallen into another dimension, we have no idea. Is this the old Nightshade? A new Nightshade that thinks he's remembering things, but isn't? Or is it a new Nightshade with the old one's memories? Who knows! Indeed, the dangers of becoming immortal and messing with your own personal SPACE-TIME. XD

I do understand how he could have some ties though. The character is already a universe Hopper, and may have hopped once or twice in the SAME universe the other nightshade did. This could actually lead to a very interesting subplot, showing the true dangers posed by dimension jumping....

What's really funny is that I know a Rachel whose name is spelled that way(and she is super-sensitive about getting her name spelled correctly) and who acts a lot like this Rachel sometimes. Saying really creepy, odd, and morbid things and laughing about them constantly, freaking people out, just generally acting crazy. She's had a few people say that they wouldn't be surprised if she became a serial killer.

She's also a bit of a crazed fangirl at times.
