Super Identity: Doc. Sturgeon
Real Identity: ???
Is real identity known to the public: No.
Hero, Villain, Neutral: Relatively heroic.
Age: ~500
Gender: Male
Appearance: Pretty much this, removing the armor.
Group Affiliation: Deep ones
Powers:
Vodyanoi/Deep One physiology: He is naturally more resistant to blows and regular weaponry, swims faster and is generally more intelligent than a regular man, although Doc himself hasn't trained to be a full soldier and as such tends to lack the usual resistance other members of his kin may possess, such as a unique weakness.
-Water is good for health: Essentially, Doc's job is to heal, a rare ability among deep ones, rather ironically. He does a damn good job at it by using water in general to cauterize wounds but also to wash them or even make them disappear altogether if the water comes from a natural source. He has a nigh surgical control of water in that regard and could theoretically operate a brain tumor without even opening the head.
Assuming he tends to someone long enough which is to say about a year, he can even rejuvenate them, however, he doesn't know that.
-Acupuncture, it's a hobby of mine: Due to major studies of pretty much anything that lives, he knows exactly where to hit for it to hurt, numb or even tear.
-I know your body better than you know yourself: Due to the same studies, he essentially knows and can name off the top of his head any and every thing that lived or lives and could theoretically operate it with a success chance of about 95% in all cases. His skill in medicine is therefore absolutely unrivaled by anyone on earth, save for magic users that can pull miracles, or ones that regenerate.
Equipment:
-Never leave home without it: As a doctor, and a military one at that, he always keeps Deep Ones technology on the field. Mostly technological supplies such as bandages, stiches, and first aid kits. Of course, way superior to anything human made.
-Better safe than sorry: Typically, he carries a staff that he uses to bypass the equivalent of Hippocrates's oath with the Deep Ones. With it, his control of water is enhanced to what he could do next a puddle of water, without having a puddle of water. However, it has its limits. Doc can also use it to fight by redirecting blows, but never actually hitting.
Weaknesses:
I'm not that strong you know: Doc Sturgeon actually is quite resistant to a lot of things, however, as he didn't train that much to become a soldier and mostly focused on his studies, he tends to be physically weaker and overall easier to wound and kill. Although to a human, he is essentially an athlete. His control over water nullifies however an issue that his kinsmen do have, dryness.
I can't heal you if you're not close to me: His healing power has two major weaknesses in a fight. First, the range. It's quite short and stops at about five meters and will be blocked if he doesn't see the spot he wants to heal. Secondly, he needs to be near a sizeable source of water, a puddle works, but reduces his abilities by about 50%, and is equalized by standing next to a puddle along with his staff.
Otherwise, Sturgeon generally cannot heal with saltwater, he must purify it before working with it, which takes a considerable amount of time, about one to two minutes.
Additionally, he hasn't come close to his full potential as a healer and has yet to realize that he cannot use it on himself.
My staff is useful but...: His staff, despite all it gives him, doesn't allow him to hit anything, due to the enchantments it has received, and the general age of the damn thing, it is quite feeble, and even a normal person could break it, making his healing prowess effectively useless if there isn't a source of water nearby.
Hippocrates's Oath, Vodyanoi edition: Dos Sturgeon, as a doctor, just like a human doctor has to undergo the oath. However, in the case of the Vodyanoi, the oath is more like a pact.
If he hurts anyone, the pain literally reverberates on him, as such he, at any point in time, cannot fight.
Background:
Summary: A Deep One that tends to identify with Russian culture. Highly skilled doctor that tends to take the Hippocrates oath a bit too seriously. Questions his loyalty.
Alright, so I'm kind of stumped for the bio, so I'll stop here for him and continue on the last of the three.
