I'm thinking about writing up a Catwoman-inspired character for this RP. So at least a partial villainess.

Changes in management, reboots, theme shifts, cooperation, feedback, hard work and collective vision.
Also a lot of really smart and talented writers who put in the effort and work to create a comprehensive story.

I have been meaning to get back into this, i was in the first and a few of the spinoffs, what is the continuoty concerning the series?
I might bring back a rework of Destro, who has evolved into Shaman, powers work the same, but are more refined.

The current continuity centers around the actions of the UN struggling to deal with the booming Meta-human population, the Knights of America being general jerks, and a network of secret societies fighting for dominance.
The major themes are the question of if actions or intentions makes a person a hero and the question about what is an acceptable reaction when humans become WMD's.
We have two threads, one a mostly closed school thread of kids and teacher who just realized their school is next to a force even strong enough to destroy the world.
The City thread is about a turf war between the Knights, an emerge team of super villains, the Illuminati, and a neo-nazi group.
We highly appreciate characters who are woven into the pre-existing plot or characters with Lovecraftian themes.
Powerlevel have dropped hard since the original series. We are firmly at the Spider-man, Iron-man, Dare-devil level of power so keep that mind.

I say destro was at around Ironman level originally, Shaman is somewhat more powerful, but his powers are much more conditional and reliant on natural elements than the Destro had been.
To merge with the events better, i could make Giovanni DAngelo, The Bloody angel, typically he is a criminal enforcer with a near limitless blood supply and body supremacy.

the Cosa Nostra is coming back with avenge in the next arc so the Bloody Angel may have alot of friends very soon.
You'll need to reapply with all your characters though before I can give you feedback.

Super Identity: Nightshade
Real Identity: Angelique Lacroix; numerous cover identities - currently Angelica Porter
Is real identity known to the public: No, but some of her old aliases are known to law enforcement.
Hero, Villain, Neutral: Neutral/Villainess
Age: 25
Gender: Female
Appearance: Angelique is 5'9" tall and is naturally lean and toned. She has a very light tan, long straight black hair, brown eyes and high cheekbones. She is very attractive, poised and always well-groomed.
As Nightshade she usually sticks to form-fitting black clothes and her signature domino mask, unless a different disguise seems more functional to her.
Group Affiliation: None. Will work for anybody for enough money or just for the thrill.
Powers:
- Master thief: Nightshade is a highly skilled thief. An expert at stealth, lock-picking, pickpocketing, sleight of hand and bypassing security systems, there are only few buildings and vaults that she couldn't get into (or out of). She is also a skilled con artist who uses deception, charisma and her good looks to take away her mark's money.
- Athleticism: All that climbing up elevator shafts, crawling through air ducts and jumping from rooftops seems to be good for her body. Her speed, strength, stamina, reflexes, agility and flexibility are on the level of a professional athlete.
- Fighting skills: She is exceptionally well versed in both armed and unarmed combat.
Equipment:
- Lock picks, maglite, binoculars, night vision goggles, ropes, duct tape and similiar equipment for burglars (She doesn't always carry everything with her, obviously.)
- Folding knife, gun and taser
- Motorcycle, car (changing high-end models and almost always stolen)
- She has several criminal contacts who help her get her hands on other easily available equipment for the right amount of money.
Weaknesses:
- Overconfidence: She likes to rub her heists under her victims' noses, provoke cops and dangerous people and loves impossible challenges. It's actually a wonder that she's not dead yet.
- No superpowers: When up against superpowered heroes and villains she is often outmatched and can only rely on her smarts to survive.
Background: Angelique was born in one of the less tourist-friendly parts of New York. Her mother was a French immigrant, her father remains unknown. Her childhood was not a good example of stability as her mother's drug addiction, her times in rehab and frequent relapses moved the girl in and out of foster care several times. When she was fourteen, her mother died of an overdose and Angelique started living on the streets after an experience with an especially unpleasant foster family.
She was a smart kid and capable of taking care of herself, although she had to resort to stealing to to so. At the age of sixteen this would result in a brief juvenile sentence. Angelique did not change her ways after that though. Quite the contrary. She went on to improve her skills, learned how to manipulate marks better and how to cover her tracks. She even set out to methodically steal, erase or destroy any evidence of her past known to law enforcement.
And so Angelique Lacroix vanished and Nightshade was born. Little was known about the mysterious thief, but her heists got increasingly daring and started to hit the front page. It seemed to be more of a game to her than just a way of making money. On a few occasions she even gave away the money stolen in some of her heists to people who were fleeced by her marks in unethical but legal ways. She did it because she was in the mood though and never turned into a modern Robin Hood.
After a year abroad, working on improving her international reputation, Nightshade recently decided to return to New York...
Summary: A thrill seeking cat burglar, charismatic con artist and skilled fighter. She will happily pretend to be your most reliable ally while looking for the most advantageous way to double-cross you. She still has a (admittedly rather twisted and incomprehensible) sense of honor and a soft spot for underdogs.

So, yeah this is basically what Filia will be when she grows up, except with darkness manipulating powers. Perhaps they could team up?
