Yes. We need villains.
Particularly we need villains that feel like personal rivals.
We have a lot of Batmans, Supermans, and Captain Americans. But we need to give them Jokers, Lex Luthors and Red Skulls if you understand what i'm saying.
This can be hard because you need to work with another player a bit. But it will be very appreciated.

One more thing is I'd recommend you look at the City thread since it has a lot of room.
Also Dyelli will be putting together a team of sorta-villains later so your character could join that. Just a thought.
Here's a link to the City page listing all the heroes. Look for one you'd like to make a villain for then TG them.
If no one is helpful than I could use a villain for Calamity.
viewtopic.php?f=31&t=390476#p29998612
Do you have any setting questions or other things I can help with? Just TG me.
@Flutter. Not in terms of personality in terms fo character opposition.
Give me a second and i'll TG you some backgrounds for plague mizer

Alright, I'll check it out. I'll start reading all the lore and then start the beginnings of my character, and see which Hero would be the best rival.

Super Identity: The Visionary
Real Identity: Glenn Dennard
Is real identity known to the public: No
Hero, Villain, Neutral: Villain
Age: 26
Gender: Male
Appearance: http://www.scifi4ever.com/images_cinema ... 050-08.jpg
Group Affiliation: N/A
Powers:Background: Glenn was a solider of the United States Army, having enlisted at 18 after completing his GED in Albany, New York. Possessing no particular skills other than general physical competency and intellectual ability, he was made infantry and shipped off to Iraq. His family was impoverished and addicted to opiates; he was constantly beaten by both his parents, and had no real college prospects. As a result, he welcomed his tour in Iraq as a final escape, but would never have imagined what the sandbox would do to him.
- Psionic Communication: The Visionary is capable psionic communication across dozens of individuals at a time, giving them commands, stoking fears, or feeding delusions. He can give them an authoritative, dominating voice to command attention, or only a creeping whisper, as if he were simply another thought floating in the individual's mind. He is incapable of communicating with more than a thousand individuals at once, and it is incredibly taxing at its maximum.
- Precognition: The Visionary can, to a limited extent, predict events that will transpire in the near future; this trait alone has won him the admiration of many of his underlings, and greatly helped the cult and criminals underneath him. The events transpire before him as hallucinogenic visions, primarily focused around his own future, and have never gone further in time than a month at most. He can to a limited extend control what event he can precognate, but does not posses total control over the power.
- Charisma: Dennard is able of inciting rousing speeches, incredible appeals to the individual, and win the following of most mortals. Though almost all meta-humans are at least resistant to his wily ways, those less powerful and disciplined struggle to resist his speeches and rhetoric. Combined with his Psionic Communication, it is as if Glenn can speak to the very souls of all who listen; and he is seldom ignored.
Equipment: An AR-15 rifle, and flak jacket. He possess no exceptional or supernatural equipment other than his mind.
Weaknesses:
- Mental Instability: The Visionary has his name for a reason; he sees things no mortal should. Incomprehensible portents of both despair and ecstasy force him into extremes of sadism and charity; often committing actions that have no sensible purpose, telling his followers to do things they shouldn't do, and make plans that make even the most faithful occasionally question his judgement.
- Precognition Overload: When Dennard's mind is overtaxed, his precognition not only fails, it starts to hurt him. He begins seeing futures that have no chance of happening, but are completely the same as any of his previous visions. He must exert extreme care not to fatigue himself or risk losing everything.
- Mere Mortal: Despite his supernatural mind, his body is frail and weak. Though relatively fit and muscular, for a Meta-human he is physically incompetent. Even somewhat strong normal humans could likely beat him in a fight, and as a little as single bullet round could put him out of commission.
Engaged in a what was supposed to be a minor skirmish just south of Mosul, the fight quickly escalated when most of his convoy was blow to pieces by a deft band of insurgents. The Humvee in front of him was lost to an IED, causing the 3 car convoy to come to an immediate stop, and the caboose was blown to pieces by an RPG. Heavy machine gun fire peppered his vehicle and killed the driver, but was unable to penetrate the armor and left the rest of the inhabitants safe. The CO attempted to exist, as he was riding shotgun and could exist away from the machine gun fire, but was immediately sniped as the door opened, plastering his brains against Glenn in the process.
This left only him, and his Corporal, Johnny. Both of them huddled inside the Humvee praying to whatever God would answer that the firing would stop, but it never did. Within minutes, they heard Arabic and footsteps not far, and the firing died down, indicating they were coming to inspect the car.
Fearing torture, beheading, or whatever other nightmare the insurgents would dream up, Glenn took his pistol, shoved it to the roof of his mouth, apologized to his family, and pulled the trigger.
Yet, he felt nothing. The gun went off, blood was splattered across the car....but he was alive? It was a full five minutes before the shock wore off and saw, somehow, Johnny sat there with a gaping hole in where his eye should be. Thinking the insurgents shot him, Glenn exited and began firing wildly in every direction; but he hit nothing, saw no one, and was left completely alone. No Arabic, footsteps, or insurgents. All his men were dead, but the insurgents were nowhere to be seen.
Just as he was wondering what the hell happened, his Humvee spontaneously exploded, sending him flying upwards of 20 feet. There was no gunfire or rocket blasts, and no screams or orders. He landed on the sand, and was knocked unconscious.
It was then Glenn woke up, riding in another Humvee. To his left, Johnny was there again. In front of him, his CO, yet again. Riding in the same Humvee, on the same road, in the same direction.
Panicked and aware of the future, he immediately, at gunpoint, commanded the driver to turn around and head back to base. Facing threats of court martial from his superior, they were soon shut up by the small explosion they saw down the road, with the rest of the convoy. None of them would discuss this again after the fact; and the official story they reported was that they had turned around after "forgetting supplies".
Dennard finished his tour and returned to NYC, where he had no marketable skills to employ himself with. He joined the numerous poor and homeless in the urban slums, working part-time stints and frequently self-medication his racking headaches with alcohol. When drunk, he would give impassioned rants among the congregations of the homeless, condemning the city, state, and national authorities for abandoning them, screaming against the inherent injustice of the criminal system and the economics that compelled so many to resort to crime.
It wasn't long until Glenn started to realize more and more were listening to his speeches. He was capable of summoning an otherworldly charisma, and with every face he saw, he acted as if he could speak to them directly; soon he found out, he could do that literally. He could communication with people directly into their minds, and they could speak back to him. Combined with numerous, theatrical shows using his precognition ability - which he could now exert some control over, he could use these powers to engender a cultish, religious following among the disenfranchised of NYC.
A man born into poverty and resentful towards the world, it did not take long for Glenn to begin abusing this power. He organized his followers into criminal gangs, quickly muscling with even the cartels for control over the drug markets, with his soldiers fighting for more than just money, but for faith, as well. Now, his criminal enterprise stretches across NYC, and frequently clashes with the NYPD and the hero meta-humans allied with them.
Summary: A visionary veteran that has come to the New York slums, spreading a religious criminal enterprise based on the visions and futures he can foretell.

This is VERY good start.
But a few of the powers are a little much.
First, we don't use Powerwiki. Please describe in depth the actual abilities of the power in question. Good things to mention are Range, Speed and Intensity of the power. I can provide examples and suggestions if you like.
Also many of these powers are very strong. On there own none are too much but together they are a little bit more than what we allow in the thread. I sugest cutting down to two or at very most three.

Sometimes can alter reality slightly (creating a weapon, have the dishes do themselves, make someone trip on a brick) in areas where the Dreamlands bleed over. Needs to constantly be talking in order for the effect to work, voice must be clearly heard for the effect to work.
Equipment: Apartment in Red Hook where the Dreamlands bleed over occasionally due to Alan's long-term presence.
Weaknesses: The apartment requires rent each month in a densely populated city plagued by gentrification.
Background: Jewish Latino male. Grew up near Las Vegas, originally aspired to be a poet for a living (and still does). Has one major collection of poetry published entitled "Coyote Migration Patterns on Pluto". When he isn't a barista doing barista stuff, he can be found fighting the forces that do harm to others in acts of vigilantism, or sometimes messing with people he finds annoying, petty, or apathetic. Has recently been looking into the increased presence of Neo-Nazi groups in New York city.
Summary: (a 1 to 3 sentence summary of the character that can go in the character vault. Keep it short and reference powers and backround.)

Yes. Slaggep will have a quick outburst in my next post but it's best if after that the adults leave without much fan fare.
So perhaps hold off a bit then post forcing everyone back.
We will have a time skip of a few days in a post soon. This will allow Dyelli to revive JJ if they want and then more to spain.
