Background:Born to a Württemberg Noble and his Vampiric mistress in 1810, Elsa had an odd upbringing, being the only person in the castle with ornage eyes and black sclera nearly got her killed several times by the violently religious times. Her mother thought it best to take her daughter -at the behest of Elsa's father as well- to British North America specifically the far western territory of Oregon.

It was in the fledgling colony that Elsa and her mother grew up as hermits, occasionally riding to the nearest fort to trade furs and other amenities, and also to occasionally feed. On a winter eve in 1834 luck caught up with the woman, and a collection of trappers found out about her mother's heritage, as well as her own. Her mother purposefully got herself caught, was lashed to a cross, burned alive, and had a stake driven into her chest, all so Elsa could escape.

With no map and no compass, Elsa spent the next four years traveling across Canada towards the east coast, hoping to board a ship and get back to Württemberg where she would hopefully be able to reconnect with her father. Her plans were slightly hampered, in order to legally cross the Atlantic she needed an exorbitant amount of money, and she was currently in no capacity to have a job. So she did what she could, and started work at a brothel.

This job managed to pay her way through live for the next six years, while she had saved enough to finally pay her way across the Atlantic. She spent a few months travelling across France (currently fighting the Franco-Morrocan war), and into her homeland. She finally found her father, now an old man, and requested some form of help, the help came in a small inheritance, an old fort the man had as a winter retreat. It was here she lived, relatively unnoticed by the world, with a small amount of servants to keep her company for the next 16 years, until the Franco-Prussian War forced her hand, it was then she moved to Venice, where she began a much more peaceful life as a blind seer. And although most of her predictions weren't true, she still made an attractive sum of money.

For the next thirty years she would travel Europe, staying just long enough that people would suspect of her heritage, but not long enough for them to act. All this while she was avoiding her impulses, trying to stave off the eventual rebound of her primal desire to drink the blood of a human being. She gave in by so little during the First World War. She spent a few months occasionally tasting the blood of dying Austro-Hungarian and Russian soldiers. When the war ended she nearly went mad, she wasn't able of feeding anymore, and had Germany united under a single man's banner she would've been driven insane.

It was then Elsa was 'recruited' by the SS Abteilung für Paranormales and given the name Jäger. She was let loose on the Eastern Front yet again, it was there she inflicted a mass of casualties, and when she wasn't draining Soviets of their blood, she was given free reign in concentration camps. Over this time she started coming back to her senses, and the century long backlog of bloodlust finally ended, coming to her senses she'd realized what she did, right in the middle of a concentration camp, malnourished eyes staring at her black and bloodstained uniform. So she did what she could. In mid 1943 she crossed the English channel with a collection of nearly 300 'unwanted' on board a large fishing boat, then she told the Allies what she saw. Her actions -though unwilling- still haunt her every waking moment to this day.

Not too long after the Second World War ended she was recruited by the Agency, and spared a thorough investigation and trial by the Allied governments. It was here she sought psychiatric help. And while it didn't help all that much, she no longer breaks down every time she hears news about Poland, Israel, or Germany. While she stayed with the Agency she worked as a field agent, investigating magical disturbances, hunting down Meta-Human criminals, and occasionally capturing literal aliens.

With the opening of the Academy she thought it would be easier on her soul to teach the next generation how to control themselves and to deal with any urges they may have before it snowballs into something horrid. So she requested a release from the Agency, and was promptly given a ticket to England, while she severed herself from the Agency, she still managed to snag a few items from the organization, and with all the recent hubbub they wouldn't notice. All she wanted was the next chapter of her agonizingly long life to begin.

Summary: A Half-Vampire matriarch with an absurd amount of stories and life experience, she seeks to shed some of those experiences upon the newest generation of Metas at the academy.

Would be great if you would atleast inform me before you make former members of my org.
As child of a vampire and a mere man she would`ve landed in some cell at first be experimented upon.
And only once the Abteilung has ways of controlling her, extortionlike stuff mostly, only then she`d be deployed in the field.
Or she would just get a leash and let off of it whenever the Abteilung wants to see slaughter before being brutally recaptured again.

Throughout his life he showed a slight interest in smithing and mechanical crafting, going so far as to start making knives and crude watches out of platinum. He also had very high marks in chemistry and applied arts classes. In the years since he has become quite the craftsman.

Eventually the police did make an arrest with him after he was caught with vodka on his person. Suspecting other reasons for his arrest he caved about his actions and powers, and in a quick turn of his life he was shipped off to the Academy. Not only to protect him from abduction, but also protecting the world economy from a sudden influx of platinum, palladium, and osmium.
Summary: A precious metal generating Russian with a penchant for alcohol, sunflower seeds and mayonaisse. Is perfectly fine with capitalism, and dislikes the USSR's way of doing things.

Perhaps she could be a former member of the Wardens of Manchester? I have a very very rough outline of superhero's in england and one of them is a Vampire. We could throw her in.

Good characters.
Add a restrictive weakness to Anatoly. Making metal sucks water out of his body so can get dehydrated, he can only make so much in a day, he gets platinum poisoning if he overuses it. Something like that.
Do something similar with Elsa, give her some more “Vampiric” weaknesses. Garlic is acidic to her, seeing her reflection causes vertigo, allergic to salt water, silver is supremely toxic to her, wood can penetrate her skill more easily than other things for some reason. That sorta stuff.
As I understand it she pretty much just has a slightly Vampiric version of enhanced conditions yes? A powerful bullet to the head could serious mess her up right?

Depends on the exact details but...probably not.

The bus driver will need to lead the team on their missions and is a vital part of the kids staying safe.

  • Nigh-Infinite Momentum: When the Omnibus starts moving, the only thing that can stop it is itself.
  • Nigh-Indestructibility: Nothing short of an multiple megaton bomb can destroy the Omnibus, great for transporting living WMDs.
Equipment: Itself, a few spare tires.
Weakness's (<--- This error is starting to bug me):
  • It's pretty noticeable
  • Can't fit indoors without killing multiple people
  • Not very combat applicable
  • Mentally on par with a dog or toddler
Background:In the early 2000s the US government attempted to create a psychically active brain from a surrogate embryo. They succeeded, but the brain was too large to fit into anyone's head, so the project lead -who was regularly described as 'Fucking bonkers"- decided to put the brain in the engine bay of an armored bus.

This happened to actually work, the bus generated a psychic field of immense power that protected it from all they were willing to throw at it. And it was able to move itself via a very toned down Alcubierre effect. As such it could easily transport troops to an from combat zones without fail. However, the project was shut down due to budget concerns, and the Omnibus was left to rot in a Nevada scrapyard.

Until he was purchased by the Agency and donated to the Academy. Now he enjoys his current job, ferrying living WMDs to and from their various locations.
Summary: A sentient bus that could bowl through mountains easily, it doesn't because it's content with just transporting people.


Wonderful, just fantastic.
But I want to add two things. First the power and a Weakness.

Mental Space Warpage: The Bus can use it psionic abilities to physical bend space creating minor worm holes to other locations. It can teleport using this power to locations within the same hemisphere or nearby universes.
Reason: I need a bus that can cross oceans and deserts fast.

Control Unit: The bus can be turned off via a remote control keychain that came with him. It simply sends signals to the brain putting it slowly to sleep. Useful if it gets out of control or stolen.
Reason: Logic and additional power limitation.

Backround The history of the Shadow Syndicate is ancient, going back to the dawn of creation. For the Syndicate is just one of many crime organisations throughout the centuries, controlled by a group of primordial shadow demons, that would become known as the Umbrarum family, with the evil being that would become known as Domini Umbrarum as the oldest, most powerful and most ruthless of them all. Throughout his life he showed a slight interest in smithing and mechanical crafting, going so far as to start making knives and crude watches out of platinum. He also had very high marks in chemistry and applied arts classes. In the years since he has become quite the craftsman.

Eventually the police did make an arrest with him after he was caught with vodka on his person. Suspecting other reasons for his arrest he caved about his actions and powers, and in a quick turn of his life he was shipped off to the Academy. Not only to protect him from abduction, but also protecting the world economy from a sudden influx of platinum, palladium, and osmium.
Summary: A precious metal generating Russian with a penchant for alcohol, sunflower seeds and mayonaisse. Is perfectly fine with capitalism, and dislikes the USSR's way of doing things.

Background:Born to a Württemberg Noble and his Vampiric mistress in 1810, Elsa had an odd upbringing, being the only person in the castle with ornage eyes and black sclera nearly got her killed several times by the violently religious times. Her mother thought it best to take her daughter -at the behest of Elsa's father as well- to British North America specifically the far western territory of Oregon.

It was in the fledgling colony that Elsa and her mother grew up as hermits, occasionally riding to the nearest fort to trade furs and other amenities, and also to occasionally feed. On a winter eve in 1834 luck caught up with the woman, and a collection of trappers found out about her mother's heritage, as well as her own. Her mother purposefully got herself caught, was lashed to a cross, burned alive, and had a stake driven into her chest, all so Elsa could escape.

With no map and no compass, Elsa spent the next four years traveling across Canada towards the east coast, hoping to board a ship and get back to Württemberg where she would hopefully be able to reconnect with her father. Her plans were slightly hampered, in order to legally cross the Atlantic she needed an exorbitant amount of money, and she was currently in no capacity to have a job. So she did what she could, and started work at a brothel.

This job managed to pay her way through live for the next six years, while she had saved enough to finally pay her way across the Atlantic. She spent a few months travelling across France (currently fighting the Franco-Morrocan war), and into her homeland. She finally found her father, now an old man, and requested some form of help, the help came in a small inheritance, an old fort the man had as a winter retreat. It was here she lived, relatively unnoticed by the world, with a small amount of servants to keep her company for the next 16 years, until the Franco-Prussian War forced her hand, it was then she moved to Venice, where she began a much more peaceful life as a blind seer. And although most of her predictions weren't true, she still made an attractive sum of money.

For the next thirty years she would travel Europe, staying just long enough that people would suspect of her heritage, but not long enough for them to act. All this while she was avoiding her impulses, trying to stave off the eventual rebound of her primal desire to drink the blood of a human being. She gave in by so little during the First World War. She spent a few months occasionally tasting the blood of dying Austro-Hungarian and Russian soldiers. When the war ended she nearly went mad, she wasn't able of feeding anymore, and had Germany united under a single man's banner she would've been driven insane.

It was then Elsa was 'recruited' by the SS Abteilung für Paranormales and given the name Jäger. She was let loose on the Eastern Front yet again, it was there she inflicted a mass of casualties, and when she wasn't draining Soviets of their blood, she was given free reign in concentration camps. Over this time she started coming back to her senses, and the century long backlog of bloodlust finally ended, coming to her senses she'd realized what she did, right in the middle of a concentration camp, malnourished eyes staring at her black and bloodstained uniform. So she did what she could. In mid 1943 she crossed the English channel with a collection of nearly 300 'unwanted' on board a large fishing boat, then she told the Allies what she saw. Her actions -though unwilling- still haunt her every waking moment to this day.

Not too long after the Second World War ended she was recruited by the Agency, and spared a thorough investigation and trial by the Allied governments. It was here she sought psychiatric help. And while it didn't help all that much, she no longer breaks down every time she hears news about Poland, Israel, or Germany. While she stayed with the Agency she worked as a field agent, investigating magical disturbances, hunting down Meta-Human criminals, and occasionally capturing literal aliens.

With the opening of the Academy she thought it would be easier on her soul to teach the next generation how to control themselves and to deal with any urges they may have before it snowballs into something horrid. So she requested a release from the Agency, and was promptly given a ticket to England, while she severed herself from the Agency, she still managed to snag a few items from the organization, and with all the recent hubbub they wouldn't notice. All she wanted was the next chapter of her agonizingly long life to begin.

Summary: A Half-Vampire matriarch with an absurd amount of stories and life experience, she seeks to shed some of those experiences upon the newest generation of Metal at the academy.


Good characters.
Add a restrictive weakness to Anatoly. Making metal sucks water out of his body so can get dehydrated, he can only make so much in a day, he gets platinum poisoning if he overuses it. Something like that.
Do something similar with Elsa, give her some more “Vampiric” weaknesses. Garlic is acidic to her, seeing her reflection causes vertigo, allergic to salt water, silver is supremely toxic to her, wood can penetrate her skill more easily than other things for some reason. That sorta stuff.
As I understand it she pretty much just has a slightly Vampiric version of enhanced conditions yes? A powerful bullet to the head could serious mess her up right?

  • It's pretty noticeable

Background:In the early 2000s the US government attempted to create a psychically active brain from a surrogate embryo. They succeeded, but the brain was too large to fit into anyone's head, so the project lead -who was regularly described as 'Fucking bonkers"- decided to put the brain in the engine bay of an armored bus.

This happened to actually work, the bus generated a psychic field of immense power that protected it from all they were willing to throw at it. And it was able to move itself via a very toned down Alcubierre effect. As such it could easily transport troops to an from combat zones without fail. However, the project was shut down due to budget concerns, and the Omnibus was left to rot in a Nevada scrapyard.

Until he was purchased by the Agency and donated to the Academy. Now he enjoys his current job, ferrying living WMDs to and from their various locations.
Summary: A sentient bus that could bowl through mountains easily, it doesn't because it's content with just transporting people.


Wonderful, just fantastic.
But I want to add two things. First the power and a Weakness.

Mental Space Warpage: The Bus can use it psionic abilities to physical bend space creating minor worm holes to other locations. It can teleport using this power to locations within the same hemisphere or nearby universes.
Reason: I need a bus that can cross oceans and deserts fast.

Control Unit: The bus can be turned off via a remote control keychain that came with him. It simply sends signals to the brain putting it slowly to sleep. Useful if it gets out of control or stolen.
Reason: Logic and additional power limitation.

"Good, good. My power needs to charge up and it's way too slow, as such I'm too weak to do pretty much anything right now, so I'm just waiting.

It is said that it utilizes so much magic, that once on the other side it will take one year to recover before using once more. Nicodemus has performed this spell four times, twice to enter Shamballa and twice to return to Earth.

Background:
Nicodemus was born to a Sara and Edward O'Connell in 1988 in Magarac Bay, Pennsylvania. He was raised by his mother and father until 1991, when his father was killed and his mother maimed when a drunk driver collided with their car head on after an evening picnic. Devastated by both her inability to talk or walk, his mother attempted to raise her child with the closest thing to a normal childhood that she could give him. During his youth, Nicodemus became more and more interested in odd medicine in hopes to find a way to help his mother. Over time, he began to do increasingly intensive research into the occult and magics before abandoning medical research all together.

However, his occultic side remained hidden from the public and continued to advance through school before earning a college scholarship at 18. He was considered one of the brightest students in Pennsylvania State University, holding record grades in almost all his classes. He remained a student until the fall of his first year, when he discovered that his mother committed suicide after an accident involving her falling down a stairwell. Horrified, he delved into his occult works before finding spells on Planar Travel. Nicodemus became the first human in centuries to cross into the Realm of Shamballa, or the Realm of Heaven and Hell.

He remained in Shamballa for a year, unable to really recover due to the odd atmosphere and distortions of Shamballa before finding an entity who identified himself as "Lucifer" but claimed he went by many names. Demanding his mother's life back in a pure and undamaged form, he gave his soul to Lucifer. Lucifer granted Nicodemus ten years with his mother and claimed he would retake his soul on 28th Birthday, which Nicodemus agreed and returned to Earth's plane.

Upon his return, he met with Lady Delilah Underridge who introduced him into the world of the Occult and the society known as the Order of the Raven. He became a full-fledged member overnight, granting that he became the first human in centuries to cross into another plane and earned the name "Planeswalker".

For some time, he was merely a teacher to other mages within the Order of the Raven on planar travel before becoming bored with them and deciding to travel for a few years, a request that the Convent reluctantly agreed to. For a few years, Nicodemus traveled through Europe and Asia and learning other magics and skills but generally becoming more and more disheartened with the world. He eventually was met one more time by the entity known as Lucifer, this time he was asking for assistance. Lucifer had fallen in his realm and overthrown by his own men and wished for Nicodemus to assist him on his quest to return to power. Nicodemus agreed, without anything in return.

Nicodemus doesn't mention his time in the war, though most mages know he WAS part of it. He also mentions that it is because of his actions there that he refuses to take a life, as he was 'Not himself'. Lucifer, pleased with Nicodemus' actions, allowed him his soul with no strings attached. Nicodemus returned to Earth, and rejoined the Order of the Raven and has become a full-fledged member and considered one of high-regard despite his personality and nature. He currently works as the "Arcane Arts and Practices" teacher at the Academy.

Summary: A Powerful Planeswalking Mage who fights on the side of good, despite his past actions

Background:
Although many groups and organizations have existed throughout history, beginning primarily in the early 10th century, many have not lasted as long as the Order of the Raven. Due to the strong catholic presence, magic was mainly pushed away and treated as a forgotten art or an unseen evil leading many to oppose their powers despite the good it was capable of. It wasn't until the Age of Colonization and the Age of Exploration that many began to look towards these arts once more. Without the over bearing religious pressures and the idea of new continents and areas, magical research and practices began to rise in the later half of the 17th century.

The organization now known as "The Order of Ravens" originally formed in 1764, and was known as "The Constables". It's first official leader was a woman named Sara Locksley. Under Locksley, the order became progressive in the developing American society and influencial. During the American Revolutionary War, the organization became known as "The Witches of America" and were famed for using magics to assist soldiers both on the battlefield and through espionage. In 1781, George Washington unofficially blessed the organization with the protection of the United States so long that they only protect American Interests.

Locksley's death in 1811 left the organization divided, and many believed that it would eventually be disbanded until Lord Horace Dace of Boston reunited the group to face against British Soldiers in the War of 1812. It wasn't until 1818, with the creation of the Arcaneum Divina that the organization's purpose became well known and a true charter was formed. It's politics, purpose, and eventual first expansion all culminated under Lord Dace of Boston and lasted until his eventual death in 1889 following his unnaturally long life. Many members consider this period the "Dacean Period" or "The Dace Reformation"

During such events follow 1812, like the American Civil War and the Industrial Revolution, magical and cursed items began to appear through many of the backwoods and uncolonized areas of America. It was because of this, many Americans began to fear areas within the Louisiana Territory and the California Purchase. Eventually, like many times in history, the combination rise of mechanization and religion slowly began to threaten the growing Order of the Raven and many believed that it would once again mean the end of their organization.

In 1914, the Order of the Raven received a chance to assist once again in American War Politics. Although the American President and Government wanted isolation, the Order of the Raven assisted in the European War with the French Foreign Legion and the English Expeditionary Units. Under the leadership of Lord Benjamin Wallace of New England, the Order of the Raven officially formed and became as we know today. A means to protect all people from the forces of magic and the supernatural. However, because of the complex nature of magic, no real understanding other than Occultic studies and practices would really approach until the combined efforts of practitioners Aleister Crowley and Diedrich Kradel in 1930s. In 1947, the two became the first humans in centuries to cross into another plane of existance, however Aleister Crowley never returned and a falsified report was made on his death.

The Organization continued to operate within American Interests, however during the Cold War, the Organization began to see the war-mongering ways of modern American Politicians and the greed of America's new status as a world-power and began to fend for itself. Claiming to have disbanded in 1953, following the Korean War but continued to exist.

In recent history, Nicodemus crossed the planes and joined the ranks of their highest elite as a teacher and researcher as well as field agent.

Appearance: 5'3'' tall, slim build, dark hair, blue eyes. Speaks with a distinct home-counties accent. There is also the pic I used from the last app.

Powers: Imogen is an extremely powerful mage but she is incapable of any major spell casting without the use of a lot of aids. Specifically for her, she needs to draw.
Enchanted Artistry: Imogen can manipulate the weather when drawing onto a picture of a location and draw objects into existence. There are major limitations though - the things she draws into existence have no life (she can create something that looks like a leopard but it won't do anything) and any complex internal parts don't work (so she could create something that looks like a watch but it won't keep time, something that looks like a gun but it won't fire, etc). A subset of this power is portal creation though she needs to be able to draw where she is going onto something and if she gets it wrong she can end up somewhere else entirely.
Energy bolt projection: A hit usually isn't lethal, but causes light burns, temporary blindness and deafness, nausea and severe disorientation. These attacks manifest as hand blasts.
Sword mastery Imogen is skilled enough with a sword to be an Olympic fencer. Nothing supernatural, but impressive nonetheless... although not so impressive in a gun fight.

Equipment: Imogen will appear in the thread with an unnaturally sharp arming sword, a pair of bronze vambraces (nothing special about those at all) and an enchanted silver necklace which she uses to channel her will and project a physical shield in front of her.

Weaknesses:
Iridigenesis: When Imogen is doing anything that requires concentration (so pretty much anything she might be doing) she projects a rainbow aura which makes it impossible to miss her. This is occasionally useful as a flashlight but mostly just gives her position away.
Imogen's main ability - enchanted artistry takes a lot of time to pull off and, at the very least, a pen and something to draw on. She cannot use this power on the fly and can be cut off from her required materials quite easily.
When creating portals Imogen needs to either know her destination very well or have an up-to-date picture of it to copy. If she does not she will end up going to the wrong place (possibly somewhere else in this world or possibly another dimension full of horrible monsters).
Imogen cannot create an energy bolt if her hands are covered. Before she was fully in control of her powers this was useful as she was able to wear gloves and avoid accidentally zapping people. Now this gives the enterprising opponent a way to negate her powers.
All of Imogen's powers/artefacts require concentration. She cannot multi-task with them.
Imogen is both a mage and a meta-human meaning that she is vulnerable to weapons designed to hurt either group.
Imogen has an allergy to iron. At normal healthy levels it isn't obvious, but elevated amounts in her blood stream will send her into anaphalaxis.

Background: A descendant of Thomas Vaughan and a particularly powerful and unpleasant fairy, Imogen has quite a potent natural ability for magic, however, she has never been able to do anything without the use of aids. Until recently this has been entirely through her art, although lately she has also acquired a necklace she can project a shield through in emergency situations.
Imogen grew up in a wealthy British family and, by all accounts, had a happy upbringing, never wanting for anything. She lived an idyllic existence in rural Kent, but like many teenagers was never quite satisfied. Far from being pleased with her magical abilities, Imogen began to idolise meta-humans and dream of what her world might be like if she had actual super-powers (ignoring the fact that the ability to change the world with her paintbrush was a pretty potent power as it was). This eventually led to Imogen trying to use her magical artistry to mutate her own genes, which she succeeded at, though, lacking any real understanding of what she was doing, it didn't go according to plan. Her ability to throw energy projectiles stems from this experiment, is nothing like the cool abilities she had hoped to give herself, and is not related to her magic.
Initially Imogen was completely incompetent in the use of her newly acquired ability and became a danger to those around her, accidentally releasing bolts of energy whenever she experienced any form of stress. Despairing at what to do about her, her parents sent her to the first Meta-human Academy in Maine. Imogen began to develop some self control while at the Academy, and took part in the battle of Çorum where she displayed an unusual and unexpected ability to negate another mage's magic (this seems to have been unique to the two mages involved and has never since been replicated). She also played a large part in the downfall of the Maine Academy when, inspired by a desire to use her powers for good, she ran off with a wizard named William Brookes and got involved with a number of violent incidents in New York.
Prior to the release of the virus in the city (which probably would have killed her), Imogen had a serious accident while experimenting with teleportation, flinging herself into a particularly unpleasant part of the fairy realms. While it has only been months since her disappearance in the human world, years have passed for her on the other side. She has spent the time struggling to survive the creatures that lurk in the other place and to find a way back home. In this time Imogen has grown up mentally and developed her powers to the point where she is actually competent. Her unexpected survival, combined with the events in New York and Çorum have also led to a change in her personality - she now has a strong sense that she is destined to be a force for good in the world.

NB: While I have written about her giving herself a power in the backstory, it is purely as backstory. I have no intention of her ever trying it again.

Summary: A magical artist who used her abilities to mutate herself and gain the ability to project energy bolts. Imogen has spent a long time wandering in some of the darker reaches of another dimension and has developed into a competent fighter with a barely disguised messiah complex.

However, with the combination of mounting medical bills and the intense pain of continual surgeries and medical practices, Sara O'Connell committed suicide through drug overdose in 1993.

Nicodemus moved from foster home to foster home, until the age of ten when he ran away during a family outing with his latest foster parents. He eventually discovered a lone cabin in the woods belonging to an elderly African-American man named Amadeus Winslow, who comforted the child as he had experience similar lose during his time in the Vietnam War. Amadeus took him in, and eventually taught him the world of the arcane and occult through his many books. Nicodemus eventually became home schooled by Amadeus until he was 12 years old.

At the age of 12, Nicodemus possessed similar abilities of a practitioner well into his mid-life. Constantly learning, Nicodemus was brought into the secret society known as the Convent of White Ravens where he was given a full education in both normal and occult studies by his fellow members.

At age 15, Nicodemus began to study the darker arts and eventually discovered and practiced the ability of Planes-walking which he attempted by going to the Afterlife. It was here that he waited for a full year among the souls of the dead and searched for his mother's until he finally found her. He struck a deal with Lucifer, one of the two kings of the Afterlife plane known as Shamballa. He offered his own soul for his mothers, which Lucifer took willingly and gave Nicodemus an additional twenty years to live with his mother.

Nicodemus, upon his return to Earth, sealed his mother into a Grimoire as her soul began to fade into nothingness. He kept the grimoire (now alive with his mother's soul) with him at all times to continue his research and to talk to her. Although nearly removed from the Convent of White Ravens for his planeswalking, he was spared due to Amadeus vouching for his abilities to come. Nicodemus

Hi Dulce,

Would you be interested in creating someone a bit younger? The older super-heroes are currently 'on ice' while the Academy thread is running... unless you want to take on a teacher role.

Though if people have time to post in more than one thread (I do) it might be fun to have a minor event going on at the same time.

I would be okay with a magic teacher, I mean the guy owned a bookstore in my original format so if he can be a teacher, sure if not I'll stop him at 18.
