You know, it's just occurred to me that, despite everything, I've never gotten to write Michael in an actual fight. The closest I got was when I had him help everyone escape Slaggep, and, assuming I'm not remembering wrong, that was shooting swords and stuff at him as covering fire at best. I hope I get the chance to write him in a fight soon, because until then, he's just an angsty smartass.

You can have him fight Mateo.
Given the place they're in, Mateo will likely get hit by PTSD.
Michael, for the most part can avoid his attacks, or even parry them through metal.
Ironically enough, not many people in the academy would be able to survive hits from him when you think about it.

Anyway...
The last guy is taking a while to make Luxa, so I'll try making him a bit faster, but I can't give an estimate.

Group Affiliation: Deep Ones military
Powers:

Deep One Physiology: Grants supernatural swimming and endurance. A Deep One can easily swim at speeds matching a speed boat. In addition, Deep Ones live at pressures where cars would be crushed into tin cans. They can survive huge amounts of conventional damage before succumbing to damage. A single tank round will only cause a Deep One to stop to catch their breath. Five in quick succession are needed to kill one. He also has strength on par with a peak human. They do not age.

Water manipulation: As the name suggests, The Sergeant's ability is to manipulate water in a range of about 30M/100ft, using this, he bends water to his will which allows him to create massive floods, change the state of water in which it is, and to a lesser degree even disrupt someone's bodily functions if the target ingested the water that he controlled. The disruption mostly consists in sudden short term blindness, numbing, or difficulty to breathe.
Depending on the time of day, his power can grow.

Deep Ones military training: Much like the natural physiology enhancement and environment they must survive in, one can expect the military training to be similarly hard.
Due to this, he can easily topple a small platoon of fully armed military.

4, 8, 12: *Redacted*

Equipment:

12.7 Type Kraken Automatic rifle: With Deep Ones technology, one can do pretty much anything with water, however, this is one of their finest in armament.
With compression of water, the rifle shoots in quick succession highly pressurized bolts of water that can attain speeds that would give modern sniper rifles a run for their money.
The reload system being quite simple makes the usage of this weapon easy and simple to manufacture.

Weaknesses:

4, 8, 12: *Redacted*

12.7 Type Kraken AR: While the reload system is quite simple, the ammo however is harder to manufacture and nigh impossible to find other than within a Deep One city. While they could eventually be manufactured on land, it would take weeks to produce even one magazine of fifteen bullets.
If The Sergeant runs out, he will have to retrieve the bullets back at base, making expeditions rather difficult to maintain.

Background:

Aacha, or better known as The Sergeant was born pure, like most Deep Ones that were allowed in the Mega Cities down in the Atlantic.
He found himself well suited for war and promptly enlisted in the military. He participated in the quelling of many inner rebellions within cities, over Shoggoths and lesser races such as humans.

He became one of the best soldiers the Deep Ones had at their disposal, however as he grew in ranks and power, he became cocky.
And around his 500th year of service, he came upon another rebellion. Human this time, and although they did rebel often, this one was infamous for just how many Deep Ones had been pushed back by one man.
Initially, he wasn't supposed to be called in, yet, given the rising number of casualties on their side, he was forced to intervene.
And what he saw there was more frustrating than anything he had ever seen before. A single human, only one, pushed all forces back.

Of course, the two fought fiercely, but in the end, the two came to be almost on equal levels.
Save for the human, who eventually, through cunning and certain traps, managed to push them all back.

Ever since that day, both that man and Aacha, or better known as the Sergeant were both renowned figures from recent memory in Deep Ones history.
Aacha however, given the scale of the fight didn't get pushed down from his rank and didn't lose any honor, however, it left a lasting hate for humans.

Further down the line, another rebellion came, this time from the coast of France, when Aacha had tried once again to get vengeance on Shoggoths who had declared war on their city by slaughtering Deep Ones, he took the advantage of the situation to invade the coast, where he initially faced severe resistance in the form of a group of people manipulating the elements around them. Yet, nevermind the fierce resistance from the group, all of them died, and the coast was taken. Shortly after however, the same man that fought The Sergeant so long ago resurfaced, and once again beat back the invasion. This time so fast that Aacha didn't even have time to show up.
Of course, this only furthered his loathing for humans and further consolidated the man's reputation within the cities as an unstoppable force. Yet, the great Deep One Dagon never truly minded him.

Which is something that infuriates The Sergeant to the highest degree.
Summary: A military Deep One sergeant with a mysterious weakness and superior technology. Thoroughly hates lesser races.


Luxa knows for 4, 8, 12.

Weaknesses: He can only possess those with a weak mind, any fear can be overcome, and though he is immortal he can be sealed away. He also cannot interact with the physical world in any meaningful way without a host, and he cannot leave his host until the host dies or he is expelled by the Green Light of Courage. His host can also be used to seal him away. Also, every time he takes a host, a person becomes empowered by the Green Light of Courage, a non-sentient entity which was created by an ancient race in order to defeat Kalos.
Background: Kalos is an ancient being, the origin of fear. He appears in every mythology throughout the universe, though he is never called by his true name. Kalos has ravaged worlds in order to satiate his hunger, and in the early eons of the universe, he was allowed to go unbridled, destroying countless worlds. It wasn't until an ancient, long-dead race called the Ramiens broke through the fabric of reality in order to create a weapon out of courage. They created an object called the Green Light of Courage, meant to "Shine a light in the Darkness of Fear" or some mumbo jumbo like that, the translation has been lost to time.

Kalos' history before it came to Earth is of little importance, as it came to Earth thousands upon thousands of years ago. The Green Light followed it and empowered a human who bound Kalos' host to a prison which kept him alive so that Kalos could not escape. Kalos has not seen the light of for since roughly 115,000. Recently (as in the first post) an archaeological expedition stumbled upon the prison, opening it and killing the host, allowing Kalos to escape. Now he is on the search for someone new to possess.
Summary: An ancient being of pure fear, who has been trapped on Earth since prehistoric times. Finally free, he is looking for a new host.

Equipment: None
Weaknesses: Bright light can dissipate his shadows and stop him from travelling through them. One with enough will, courage, or strength of mind can overcome his fear inducement and fear telepathy. The Green Light of Courage can purge Kalos from Edward and take away his fear and flight.
Background: Edward Michaels had always had his shadow powers, though they were rather weak. He seemed to be scared of nearly everything, which caused him to not use his powers out of fear of, well, his powers. This fear weakened his mind and made him the perfect host for the newly freed Kalos. Edward inherited a vast fortune, made from various criminal endeavors by his ancestors, which Kalos put to use once he possessed Edward, strengthening his shadow powers and lending him his own fear-based powers.
Summary: The current host of the ancient entity known as Kalos, Edward was once a pathetic scaredy-cat who was terrified of his own shadow.. powers.. Now, he holds power over fear, but not over himself.

Real Identity: Lucas Gabriel
Is real identity known to the public: No

Weaknesses: All of his powers are based on his courage. The less courage he has, the weaker they are. He can only exorcise Kalos. He also doesn't know how to use his powers yet.
Background: When Kalos first came to Earth, the Green Light of Courage empowered the bravest being it could find. They became known as 'Shimmer' and, using the power of the Light, sealed Kalos away. Since Kalos was still on Earth, however, the Green Light stayed in the bloodline, being passed on to the bravest descendant when the wielder either died or became too frail to wield it. This eventually led to Lucas Gabriel, who was the latest to inherit the power. He had always been one of the most courageous in his class, whether it was with the girls, with sports, or with helping others. Lucas grew up with the stories of Shimmer, but he thought them just stories. It wasn't until Kalos escaped that the Green Light of Courage activated inside him, empowering him and giving him the strength to battle the entity of Fear.
Summary: The heir to an ancient power, his mission is to defeat Kalos and seal him away. But first he must learn how to use that ancient power.

A very interesting set of characters, I like the hero and arch villain angle and believe that that is something we definitely need more of. But a few things.
1. The powers are not well detailed. I need specific descriptions of exactly what the powers do. The flight could mean moving faster than the speed of light. Shadow Manipulation means he could create literal atomic weapons out of the shadow of a coin. I need to know a bit more before I give the go ahead.
2. I'm a huge Green Lantern fan, but I feel that these characters are a bit too on the nose. The concepts behind them are good but do you think there are others you could bring in to make the characters more unique to you? I have a couple of ideas that might help in this regard if you TG but one thing I want to avoid is having people play RL comic characters with name swaps.

Weaknesses: Bright light can dissipate his shadows and stop him from travelling through them. One with enough will, courage, or strength of mind can overcome his fear inducement and fear telepathy. The Green Light of Courage can purge Kalos from Edward and take away his fear and flight.
Background: Edward Michaels had always had his shadow powers, though they were rather weak. He seemed to be scared of nearly everything, which caused him to not use his powers out of fear of, well, his powers. This fear weakened his mind and made him the perfect host for the newly freed Kalos. Edward inherited a vast fortune, made from various criminal endeavors by his ancestors, which Kalos put to use once he possessed Edward, strengthening his shadow powers and lending him his own fear-based powers.
Summary: The current host of the ancient entity known as Kalos, Edward was once a pathetic scaredy-cat who was terrified of his own shadow.. powers.. Now, he holds power over fear, but not over himself.

Powers: Flight, Hard Light beams, Exorcism
Equipment: None
Weaknesses: All of his powers are based on his courage. The less courage he has, the weaker they are. He can only exorcise Kalos. He also doesn't know how to use his powers yet.
Background: When Kalos first came to Earth, the Green Light of Courage empowered the bravest being it could find. They became known as 'Shimmer' and, using the power of the Light, sealed Kalos away. Since Kalos was still on Earth, however, the Green Light stayed in the bloodline, being passed on to the bravest descendant when the wielder either died or became too frail to wield it. This eventually led to Lucas Gabriel, who was the latest to inherit the power. He had always been one of the most courageous in his class, whether it was with the girls, with sports, or with helping others. Lucas grew up with the stories of Shimmer, but he thought them just stories. It wasn't until Kalos escaped that the Green Light of Courage activated inside him, empowering him and giving him the strength to battle the entity of Fear.
Summary: The heir to an ancient power, his mission is to defeat Kalos and seal him away. But first he must learn how to use that ancient power.


A very interesting set of characters, I like the hero and arch villain angle and believe that that is something we definitely need more of. But a few things.
1. The powers are not well detailed. I need specific descriptions of exactly what the powers do. The flight could mean moving faster than the speed of light. Shadow Manipulation means he could create literal atomic weapons out of the shadow of a coin. I need to know a bit more before I give the go ahead.
2. I'm a huge Green Lantern fan, but I feel that these characters are a bit too on the nose. The concepts behind them are good but do you think there are others you could bring in to make the characters more unique to you? I have a couple of ideas that might help in this regard if you TG but one thing I want to avoid is having people play RL comic characters with name swaps.

Age: in his early 40s, though that is unknown to anyone

Gender: Male

Appearance: face only

Black Emerald wears a crimson robe in his power form. Think of Dr. Strange's robes, but a crimson color. Six large black emeralds, about 4 by 4.75 inches, are bound to his arms by chains with three gems each arm.

Group Affiliation: Independant

Powers: Able to shift time and space in a 1x1 meter area (an example of this power would be drawing a claymore from the middle ages). Highly skilled in most melee weapons and hand-to-hand combat.

Black Emerald can open a time and space wound which the opening can only be in front of him, but the other end of the wound can be in any time in any place. For example, he can open a wound and retrieve a sword from the medieval Italy or an electric baton from 2200 London. He can only draw items that will fit through the wound, limiting items to a 1x1 meter size. Black Emerald himself will not travel through the wound unless it is absolutely necessary for the sake of the universe. He will use this wound to preemptively strike normal human opponents. For example, he can open a time wound and punch a bank robber tomorrow. He will often do this to disorient his opponents. Black Emerald can draw people through the rift, though he limits this to people in the same room in present day. I can explain further if need-be.

Weaknesses: Having suffered paralyzation in both arms, Black Emerald wears the mystical black gems to counter-act the paralyzation. Disconnecting these emeralds would leave the arm with the disconnected gems in extreme pain, and even more pain would be inflicted if the arm was hit, stunning Black Emerald and preventing him from doing anything for a short time.

Black Emerald is a mysterious figure to the people, heroes, and villains of the world. His power and combat capabilities are an anomaly among the population. He is the only one who knows he was born in New York City to a family of high-class liars and conmen and women. He is the only one who knows he was abused as a child and at age seventeen he lost control of his arms for that reason. He is the only one who knows he killed his parents for revenge, and he is the only one who knows the way he got his powers and control of his arms back. He lost his mentor; his healer, the only person he ever cared for. His teacher, an Indian-American mystic monk, fell to the inevitable effects of time.

Black Emerald understood, however, that time could be manipulated. However, the last person capable of such a feet died over a thousand years ago to the very concept he mastered. Emerald spent over two decades attempting to even begin to master the concept of time. In time, however, he achieved the control of time, though not to it's full extent. He gained the ability to open time-wounds, small spaces in which another time and location, the past or the future, was present. Though not capable of sending his entire person into the time-wound for fear of crippling time, Black Emerald was able to use his arms to attack or retrieve items through the wound such as weapons or people. Black Emerald limits his retrieval of people through the wound to people who currently exist and within the same space, such as in a room or a nearby area.

Black Emerald owes no allegiance to any group or person, including the Knights of America and the Triptych. He does not care whether a villain or hero is believed to have the people or the common good in mind. Black Emerald is known to fight any acts he deems to endanger the universe's fabric.

If you looked behind some pages, or even at the very start of the OOC, you would've seen at least ten characters owned by one person.

By the way, I recommend you amp up Black Emerald backstory, while he has an interesting power, take care not to have him be defined only with that.
And just because you noted something down in the OOC doesn't mean it has to show up unless your characters tells about it.

This is 100% correct. I would apologize for having so many character but considering how many of them are pretty much NPC's I don't think anyone is complaining.

Nothing stops him from taking nukes from a hidden US bunker in the 50's and becoming a nuclear superpower unto himself. If you limited his power to only the exact location he's in then I'll allow it. But I see too many loop holes that could break things.

As I was working on ym app for Giovanni i read the front page of the rp and i was wondering would a Lovecraftian God/Extradimensional entity named Steve who ahs a cult of his own based out of the hidden basement of Lovecrafts house underenath the Rhode ISland School of Design?

The A fifty Kiloton Nuclear Warhead can be fit on a Tomahawk Crusie Missile which is thin and could fit through a 1.5x1.5 foot hole. Thank you for being so understandind, the only reason I think about these loopholes is because when they get broken they can ruin entire threads. But your willingness to stick with it means a lot.

By seeing a martial arts style in action he can become capable of practicing it, same applies to other similar discipline. He is immune or heavily resistant to nearly all natural poisons venoms and disease and can live for far longer than most humans.

He can control his body no matter what, as long as it is in mostly one piece. He can control his blood and his flesh and bone ensuring they stay in place. He can close most wounds, but it is not healing exact;y he only speeds up his bodies natural healing. Due to being immune to most toxins and the like he also cannot get drunk or high, nor is he affected by drugs, unless he lets them effect him. He can shut off his sense of pain and the like, but at a cost.

Body manipulation: He can enhance and manipulate the bodies of others, but to a lesser extent than he can his own. He must be in physical contact with the one he wants to change and both he and the recipient must remain still. He can change the appearance of himself or another person, but there will always be a similarity, as it is not shapeshifting, merely taking what is there and improving or changing it.

He has a near unlimited blood supply, but still feels the effects of blood loss, just to a lesser extent.

Equipment:
Weaknesses: He can bleed out, it will just take a while and he will start to feel teh blood loos and it will effect his other powers. He can risk burning out his body if he over uses the self enhancement aspect of his powers. His resistance to poisons and the like does not apply to Meta generated variuants and it will take time and exposure for him to develop resistance. Also while he can close his wounds and others, mostly, it is not true regeneration or healing. Though he is more durable and can control his body no mattter the abuse it takes, it is stillaeffected/It takes intense concentration when he is working on another person, and the slightest interruptions can be dire.

Whenever he increases the healing or blood production of his body or effects that of others it has a cost. It takes the energy of the body and depending upon what is affected the changes can be quite drastic. He needs to ingest large amounts of food adn the like after he enhances himself or does anything that changes his body majorly.

Background: He was born in New York to a privileged family that owed its wealth to connections with certain criminal elements. His early life went well, but took a turn for the worse after several of his fathers investments went downhill. During this time, Giovanni's abilities awoke, at first it was minor and when he was in touch with a kid he had been playing with he noticed that he could see the insides of a person in a sense and could change them. Afterwards the Body Supremacy awoke and he became better, so to speak, than any normal kids his age.

During an incident when he was attacked, he showed surprising fighting skills. This fight was noticed by associates of his father, and they made him a deal. They would erase his debt and other grievances against him should Giovanni be handed over. Needless to say it happened, and that marked the birth of the Bloody Angel. in the following years Giovanni changed and became ruthless and cold, but not entirely so.

He had become close to a few people during his time with the Family, but not too close. One of his friends tried to get out of the life and subsequently bad things happened. These events caused Giovanni to leave teh family, and with his skills they were not able to track him easily. He stayed in NY as it was something he knew, but what he did afterwards was something different than when he worked for the Family. HE has been workign with the underprivileged and minor criminals with his gifts to help, but nothing quite so active as what he did before.

Summary: He is a former Enforcer for a Mafia Family. He left after a time due to a close friend of his dying, and he was able to do little at the time as his powers were more offense oriented.


If I'm reading this right he's not bullet proof. Just a super soldier type with a perfect body and some martial moves? If so he's perfect and accepted. Expect a Cannoli very soon.
