Appearance: A 5'7 slender black anthromorphic unicorn stallion with emerald geen eyes. His eyes change to red and glow green, oozing purple smoke while in use of dark magic.

Powers: Oneiric Physiology: Pitch Black is a fragment of King Kuranes’s dream which has been swept into the real world. As such in the waking world, Pitch Black only has limited magical abiliites, including elemental magic and dark magic, doesn’t age and is unaffected by time in a natural way. In the Dreamlands, however, he is far more powerful, having great and powerful magic and terrible reality warping powers. However, his power is now warped and corrupt, only capable destroying good things and creating foul things. He can also enter the dreams of anyone asleep who he can come in contact with, sadistically preferring to turn their dreams into terrible nightmares.
Equipment: Pitch Black wears an emerald-green coat with with a cape and cloak, and light green gloves. He wears emerald green pants with light-green boots. The anthro-unicorn also wears an emerald green high-crowned, wide and pointed brimmed hat with a light green feather. He carries a gold staff with an emerald green jewel. His staff holds a dark blade made of nightmares.
Weaknesses: Pitch Black is considerably weak in the real world compared to him in dreams and Dreamland itself, being only able to cast a limited amount of spells inluding minor reality warping spells and dark magic. Though he cannot not be permanently destroyed, he can be incapacitated quite easily. His power can also be incapacitated by damaging his horn and his staff, but the former can heal over time, allowing him to fix the latter. To truly stop him, one can turn him back to stone if one knows how to.
Background: A long time ago, long before the War with the Gods of Earth, among the many creations of King Kuranes, there was one that was deemed by many to be among the greatest in all Celephais,. That creation was a white anthromorphic unicorn named Linus Virgil. Being granted great power in magic, Linus served as the king's personal and most powerful mage and head of the royal court for eons. He was a good friend of Dr. Dwight and helped defend Celephais from many foes as well.
As time passed, however, despite his great life of royalty and power, Linus began to brew dark thoughts, particularly envy, greed and lust, as well as an unhealthy attraction to nightmares and the dark arts. At times he would leave Celephais and tread into the dark Underworld, exploring the hells and deminid regions, including the Shadow Realm. These visits began to corrupt his mind and as well as his power.
Soon, Linus became a troublemaker. He began to wreck havoc and chaos in Celephais and many other places throughout the Dream Realm. He was eventually captured by King Kuranes's guards and imprisoned in Celephais Dungeon for his crimes. However, he escaped from his prison and, swearing vengeance, vanished into the Underworld for a time. Eventually, the unicorn returned, his form and physiology utterly changed. He ceased to be known as Linus Virgil and became the nightmare creature promptly named Pitch Black the Nightmare Pony.
Pitch Black sought the throne and led a great rebellion against King Kuranes. A great battle ensued in Celephais between Pitch's army of nightmares and Kuranes's forces. In the end though, Pitch Black was ultimately defeated and turned to stone for his ultimate treachery.
Time passed and all was right in the Kingdom of Celephais. However, when the War of Gods of Earth came and the water gods caused Hurricane Debbie to spill into the Dreamland, Pitch Black's statue was swept away into the Real realm, his statue falling into the Atlantic Ocean. His statue was eventually found and taken to a british museum. Unfortunately, though, great damage as been done to Pitch Black's stone prison and it's only a matter of time before he escapes to wreck havoc and nightmares once more.
Summary: Once known as Linus Virigl, Pitch Black served as the personal mage of King Kuranes and a friend to Dr. Dwight. That was before he turned to evil and became an evil creature of nightmares. He was turned to stone for his crimes till his prison was swept into the real world which he is now trapped. Unlike Dr. Dwight, Pitch Black sadistically likes to give people nightmares in their sleep. Has a narcissistic sense of fashion and a thing for hats.
This is what I got for a villain. Though I think, with some help, he could be worked on some more.
