Personality: Thana has a cool and confident deamenour which often comes off as apathy and cockyiness. She can be rather Charismatic and as a result people tend to like her, though there are abrasive parts to her personality too, meaning you tend to either love her or hate her. Though she's by no means subtle or sneaky, she does use her brain when fighting and relies on more than just strength in a fist fight. She's also a deep commitmentphobe.

Biography: Thana was a Thargan of the Corvon Star. Corvon the great law maker who helped build the great universal code that all Thargans must adhere to, regardless of their birth star. She was, as a result, keen to persue a career in enforcing these laws. However she could never become a Thargan Code officer, because she was marked with the mark of the great void. The Null Force. Voidbringer. A bad omen to have a voidbringer mutation in one's family, she was abandoned at birth and was raised by the Thargan institute.

Though she wasn't able to become a Thargan Code Enforcement Officer, she was offered a position by the Guardian Corp. A group which helps protect several sectors from dangerous supercriminals. However after a good four years of service she left the force as It was too restrictive of her methods, and so become a bounty hunter. Though she makes a lot of money, she also has to pay a good amount of credits in property damages. She came to earth after hearing of the Xanthium box, wishing to pioneer an unexplored bounty hunting market and challenge herself with some tough opponents.

Personality: Lorn is a quiet, curious young woman prone to outbursts of excitment back on Solunae. However, on Earth, she’s rather cautious and a bit timid, the transition not being seamless at all. She often finds herself frightened or confused at things on Earth that she does not understand, and she doesn’t like that.

Biography: Lorn was born as the second and last child to the king and queen of Solun, by far the biggest kingdom on Solunae. However, she was always kept a secret, to be an ace in the hole if her parents and older sister, Irithren were to die. After receiving her surname, Stormblessed, when she survived a storm that had nearly completely destroyed a city, along with having her powers activated, she went to live with her aunt and uncle in the countryside. However, her parents died in an accident and Irithren took the throne. However, Solun started to split, remote places beginning to split off and secede. The largest secession took place under Duke Morwed, who essentially began civil war, declaring that Irithren was unfit for the throne. However, just as a battle was soon to begin, the Voidbringers returned, and with them, they brought devastation and ruin. And so, Solunae united in their resolve, armed themselves.

However, the Alar faced defeat after defeat, and were on the brink of collapse. Irithren, knowing very well that she and the kingdom might fall, in order to preserve it, sent Lorn with the explorer called Elena, to ensure that their line would continue. Lorn returned to Solunae briefly when Elena fused with Yavanniel, but they were forced to flee, and evacuate the Alar to an entirely different planet, the location of which only Irithren and Elena know, while Lorn returned to Earth. Ever since, she has lived with the Justice Queens, trying to find a place for herself in this world.

Powers/Abilities:

• Alar Physiology
  
  Bioluminescence: All Alar can generate light within her bodies, causing them to glow. This light cannot be manipulated to form constructs, but remains contained within their bodies. With proper practice, this bioluminescence can be dimmed, brightened or restricted to certain parts of an Alar’s body.
  Collective Memory/Database: Alar share an information matrix, as they call it, which allows them to access all known information about people, objects, and subjects. However, none but the kings and queens of the Alar have access to the total database, for the populace, some information is restricted. Lorn has access to about 85% of the database, and is constantly adding to the database herself with information on Earth. Think of a constant live-stream, or having a Go-Pro mounted on your head 24/7. Enhanced Touch: Alar have an extremely enhanced touch, allowing them, for example, t o read words on paper without looking at said paper, or feel the faintest of footprints or depressions, which can lead her to also be potentially able to identify weaknesses in structures.
  Enhanced Strength: What it says on the tin.
  Enhanced Speed: What it says on the tin, except no enhanced endurance.
  Enhanced Agility: C'mon fellas.
• Adhesion: Lorn, outside of her inherent Alar powers, has personal powers of her own. One of these is Adhesion, or as she calls it, Binding, the power to make things stick together. This is useful in wallclimbing, and disabling enemies, for two applications. She can also exert force in any direction to bring things together, or repulse them.
• Personal Gravity Field: Lorn also controls the gravity in a field/bubble around her of a radius of two or three feet. This is not a force-field, simply a limited area over which she has gravity manipulation.

Weaknesses

• Endurance: Although all Alar have enhanced speed, they do not have an enhanced endurance, meaning that they can only run for a very short time and require large amounts of food.
• Body Shards: Lorn's 5 Body Shards in her forehead, chest, palm and a foot are the most vulnerable parts of her body, and extensive damage or removal can lead to insanity, comas, death or simply turning off like a cyborg.
• Fingers: With Lorn's enhanced touch, her fingers are very sensitive, and so, also vulnerable. Thus, she refrains from hard handshakes, and often wears gloves.
• Limitations: Her powers of attraction, repulsion and adhesion are limited by the mass, velocity and distance of the objects. She also must be careful to limit her control at all times so that everything does not stick to her, or she does not emit a repulsive force causing everything to break apart. She also cannot break apart molecular bonds, or anything smaller than she can see.

Equipment: A set of Alar armor and her black and white Alar suits which are no more than bodysuits with fabric from Solunae.

Race Name: Alar

Location: Unknown

Race Appearance: All Alar have a diamond shaped imprint right in the middle of their foreheads, they are born with it. Also, their eyes are quite luminous, irises appearing to be silver. All Alar also have bioluminescence, and can control their glow in brightness and body part with practice. Otherwise, they appear to be just like humans.

Culture/World: The Alar people revere the stars above all else. For a child to be named after one of the Starkindlers is a great honor to that child, and the family. Despite having less advanced technology than Earth, their astronomy matches Earth, if not exceeds it.
The Alar world, Solunæ, has 7 days, just like Earth. Their Sunday is Sol, Monday is Yavan, Tuesday is Elen, Wednesday is Théil, Thursday is Silma, Friday is Maur and Saturday is Aren.
As for names, while first names generally refer to concepts, ideals, heroes, and Alar history, there is no such thing as a family name. Each individual, after a defining moment, is given a surname by the community, the Alar have no need of family names to distinguish themselves thanks to the information matrix. Once this chosen surname is given to an Alar, it cannot be changed.

Alar are deathly afraid of the dark, to the extent that they will not spend a second in darkness. They are naturally bioluminescent, and at night, they sleep with candles in their rooms. Daring boys blow out each other's candles as a prank, but such a prank can have deadly consequences, causing an Alar to have a panic attack. Darkness is the enemy here, for they believe that darkness hides the foes they fought long ago, and the Leth'hao.

There are unproved predictions about an event we would know about the eclipse, called a Malan by the Alar, in which the sun is completely hidden. Some historians argue that on a Malan, there can be no light, and a Malan, several thousand years ago was responsible for the end of the Eon of Radiance, an age of enlightenment, peace and discovery.

Biography/Lore:The Alar were created by the Starkindlers, one of the oldest races in the universes, the creators of the very stars. But the Starkindlers had two foes, or so the legends go, the Leth'hao, the Voidlords; beings of pure darkness that could consume the very suns, and a fallen sister, whose name was so dark that none knew it, and whenever this sister was spoken of, the shadows seemed to grow, and a chill grew in the hearts of the Alar. Her power was not even of darkness, as it had been perpetuated to be, instead, her power was of unlight, something more than darkness.

The Starkindlers shaped the Alar, sacrificing shards of their own body, and for a time, both creator and created were at peace. But then, after years of preparation, the Starkindlers' fallen sister reemerged, seizing control of the divided Leth'hao and unifying them, leading them into battle. There was battle in the stars, upon that day, and on that day, star and kindler both fell. When the Starkindlers were slain, their bodies changed into diamond-like, crystallized stars that had by some art were as cold as the Depths of Adrast(the coldest place on Alar). But when these stars reached the atmosphere of Solunæ, they burned up, breaking up into thousands, if not millions of shards that dispersed themselves across Solunæ. It is said that the Alar of ancient times fought terrible foes, known as the Voidbringers, every 17 years, as well, and it is suspected that the Voidbringers were agents of the Leth'hao, though not verifiable.

And shards became the most valuable resource upon the homeworld of the Alar. Shards can vary in size, some being the size of a diamond, and others, the size of a small room. The largest shard ever known, upon Solunæ is Gavril, an entire mountain crystallized by shards. Much mining takes place there. Some shards are simply beautiful, shimmering off the light of the stars. But others are imbued with powers. Some can produce the elements, others can release energy, others can be used as light, as swords, even, and all sorts of purposes. The power of those shards imbued with powers is assumed to be finite, but no limit has yet been reached. Shards shape Alar society, with the amount you have being a symbol of status and wealth. Some go as far as to build shard plantations and bring others into slavery or service to mine shards from underground. Others, as Alar technology progresses, use shards to attempt to create new lifeforms, an endeavor that has been met with failure.

But perhaps the greatest use the Alar have found for shards are in weaponry. Swords with shards embedded within their hilts or blades cannot break and glow when battle is near. Even more powerful are Shardblades, ancient weapons over which wars are fought. A Shardblade appears a simple sword. However, the shards within the sword project a field of energy past the area of the sword which can cut through nearly anything.


Solunæ is a divided world, the Alar squabbling for resources, shards, and b/c of both past and present disagreements. However, at the moment, there is no one dominant power, the last of those came almost 500 years ago, in the reign of Emperor Austre, who almost unified several continents. Recently, however, disaster has struck. The Voidbringers have returned, and while the visitor from Earth found the Starkindlers and returned to drive them off with the fused power of a Starkindler, Malantur, the ancient old sister of the Starkindlers followed, leading the Leth’ao with her. Thus, the Alar were forced to destroy their Stargate and flee to a foreign galaxy, destroying the Stargate that was on the planet.

• Flight: [Erik has the ability to fly without the aid of an external appendages. He has a take off speed of 150mph and can only reach supersonic speeds when flying for an extended period of time.]
• Energy Absorption: [Particularly the kinetic energy he generates while flying, Erik absorbs and stores energy within his cells, the higher the speed the more energy produced.]
• Energy Projection: [Erik can expel the energy stored within himself in the form of concussive blasts, the power of which varies due to available energy. While usually fired from his arms, the projections, usually a orange-reddish color, can be expelled from any part of his body, up to and including its entirety. He can also use the energy to form shields around himself, a method he uses in both combat and landing at high speeds.]

Energy Absorption is a very, very powerful ability, so I'll need to know more about Erik's abilities, and weaknesses. Can he absorb other people's kinetic energy? What about other forms of energy?

He is also extremely strong, though that is more raw physical strength than actual powers.

• Physical Immutability: He can be injured rather easily, and he retains the proof of those wounds in the form of scars or whatever. Injuries that would kill him outright seemingly heal instantly, or nearly instantly.
• Enhanced mobility: When in motion, it is difficult to stop him. This does not include punching or other small body movements only if his whole body is engaged.
• Supernatural Immutability: For all intents and purposes he is nearly immune to power negation and some forms of reality warping. However this only applies to his body not his mind.

Being immune to power negation and reality warping, how about no? Because those are the two of the most powerful abilities that there are, and while they won't be happening in VoH, at least, certainly not the latter, that automatically makes him the most powerful char in the RP. So either remove the immutability completely, or make his immunity to things much more limited.

I might make a nigh immortal japanese samurai who may be related to Nobunaga Oda.

Feel free, but after this I think that perhaps we all should refrain from more chars that have lived thousands of years. This is not a ban, simply a note with a hint of warning. I'm not going to put a ban on this, b/c Star is not a total autocrat, but I want to make sure we don't have too many of the same types of characters.

If you're referring to the mutated animals, as was said, an entire zoo's worth. I estimate maybe 200 animals. As for the number of chars there, perhaps 7?

Simply put: D.C.'s being invaded by magical aliens, Pandora City's zoo has been emptied of it's now-mutated stock and the city itself is about to be hit by a tsunami-wield madman. Any questions?

an interdimensional alien race has come to try and purge technology from earth. They have begun by attacking DC, but many heroes and villains (antiheroes) have shown up to stop them. Inquisitors flood the city, but are being dispatched by the heroes. There is word that some of the villains may ally with the inquisitors, but they haven't shown up yet, At the center of DC lie a rift. The Brain, along with Hell Chaser and many other heroes, are working to close the rift, so that they can cut off the invasion and then finish off the remaining inquisitors.

In Pandora city, zoo animals are still rampaging after being superpowered by a xantheian pulse. Weatherman is causing trouble in the city. Heroes have charged in to stop them, including a group known for despising heroes and villains, The Agency. Tempest, a hero with weather powers as well, has come down to challenge Weatherman mano y mano.

Property values are declining throughout the world as heroes and villains destroy every single city in their wake.
