I'm kind of in the middle of a solo arc right now. How long can you last over there? I might be able to finish it in a week or two.

Ah. Well, with that fixed, I see no other issues, and I think the bio as it is is good enough to warrant acceptance, so, I'll accept it. Welcome aboard.

Ok, the real news. The ban on supervillains, villainous corporations, antiheroes and edginess has ended. I feel like the ratio of heroes:villains is closer to 1:1 now than it was before. That said, I will be holding very, and I mean very high standards for apps of these chars. "Woe is me," one-dimensional characters will not fare well under my gaze, fair warning. So, if you made a villain app that was rejected or pended due to the ban, it's your responsibility to repost those apps so that they can be looked at again. As for corporations, however, no more of them will be accepted if they're simply tech companies trying to do things with Xantheian tech or superhumans. There have been plenty of those already, and I don't see the majority of them doing much anyway. If you want to make a corporation, shy away from tech companies, or Xantheian tech at all really.
All this said, I do not want to see an overwhelming tidal wave of supervillains and not!Batmans. What I would love to see would be some more player created nations on Earth...hint hint, wink wink.
Regarding apps in general, I'll also start looking, for those who already have chars, how consistently you're posting with those characters before allowing you to create a new one. If you're not active with the 5 chars you've made and yet hope to app for two more, your dreams are going to be crushed. Either scrap those characters or start RPing consistently with those characters.
I had an idea where my hero steals a robot drone thing from a Corrupt gun company who was going to sell it to a balkan dictatorship if that would be acceptable ? If it helps the drone is made out of good old fashioned american steel and no xantheian tech.

Name: August Muller
Superhero Name: Der Sensenmann (The Reaper), Black Dog
Age: 32
Gender: Male
Race/Species: Human
Appearance: [image]
Under the cover of his absolute darkness, one can only see two glowing eyes.
Personality: Literally living in darkness is bound to give a person some issues. August, on the surface, seemingly has none of those. He's perfectly polite and courteous in regular conversation, but underneath his gentlemanly behavior lie the thoughts of a vicious character. August is a psychopath birthed by the Xantheian Box. He takes no joy in taking lives, but find nothing objectionable about it either. At least that differentiates him from a full-blown madman: he is neither needlessly cruel nor a man that cannot reasoned with.
For fairly evident reasons, August is immensely bitter about the "gift" he was given.
Biography: In stark contrast to the man he is today, August Muller has lived most of his life as a fairly fortunate man. A man of business with a steady relationship and an even steadier job. From what he can still recall, he lived an ordinary childhood in an upper-middle class family. Indeed, August was an ordinary man living in an ordinary world. He had an ordinary job and that suited him just fine. August Muller had no desire for greatness or wealth to spend on frivolities, though he did enjoy the occasional indulgence. He was a man like many of us. One who aimed high in life but never expected too much, one who took the cards he was dealt and played the best hand he could. August looked forward to asking the love of his life to join him in marriage and settle down to start a family, using the money he earned from the sweat of his brown to afford him fewer hours at work and more by the side of his wife and children. He even looked forward to watching his children grow up and leave the house as his wife and he grew older, until the end.
Though, had this mundane and ordinary life of August Muller came to pass, his story would never have been told.
On that fateful day in 2014, August's life changed to the transmundane.
Unable to control his power, darkness beset neighborhood as August felt a pulse pass through his body. His eyes were burning as if two searing hot orbs had replaced them in their sockets, but once the pain receded he saw the world differently...quite literally. Colors were suddenly less vibrant and the world around his felt cold and inhospitable. It wasn't until his girlfriend came home, worried about the strange anomaly covering the neighborhood, that August realized something was terribly wrong. Unable to see her love except for two eerily glowing eyes, the woman understandably screamed her lungs out as August tried to calm her. Without hearing his pleas she ran and hurriedly drove off into the darkness, leading her to crash her car and lose her life mere minutes after fleeing Muller's home.
The German government immediately apprehended August and relocated him to an isolated compound in the Schwarzwald. It was here that a serum was developed from his own blood, capable of inhibiting his superpowers. Unfortunately, August was a broken man, and the German government had no use for broken men. Through extensive psychological conditioning, they created a weapon from the man formerly known as August Muller.
August set off from the Schwarzwald compound, carrying an ability-suppressing serum to allow him to walk among other in society. He began operating almost entirely autonomously with a single directive: eliminate metahumans hazardous to mankind. In the time leading up to the present day, August eliminated a number of metahumans, most of them petty criminals that abused their superpower to earn a quick buck. "Der Sensenmann" became known among certain online boards and became a concrete fear among some metahumans.
When night falls and his footsteps echo in the distance. Run.
When light flicker and die and fires find no more oxygen to feed their flames. Run.
When you feel your body weaken as his presence draws near. Run.
When you see his eyes pierce your soul through the darkness. You will run no more.
- Anonymous author
Powers/Abilities:
- Absolute darkness: Within a one-mile radius, August projects a field of darkness that turns day into night. Even in broad daylight it seems as if the skies are overcast with a thick carpet of clouds, but when looking up at the skies the sun is still there, but eclipsed by darkness. The closer one gets to August, the darker it becomes. Within several feet one finds themselves in pitch-black darkness. At night this ability is obviously less pronounced, and only becomes noticeable in his immediate presence.
- Night Vision: Without it he wouldn't be able to see much through the darkness surrounding him.
- Energy Erasure: August can actively drain (or rather 'extinguish' as he absorb any of this energy) all kinds of energy in his presence. He does this, essentially, by creating a localized energy void. Fires, electrical appliances, moving objects (kinetic energy), etc.
While his ability is limited at a range, August can accomplish more by directly touching whatever object's energy he's erasing. Doing so requires no focus on his part.- Superpower Erasure: By focusing on a specific meta-human, August can temporarily erase the superpowers of a particular metahuman (An extension of Energy Erasure)
Weaknesses
- Passive ability: August can not actively control the field of Absolute Darkness he projects, making his presence fairly easy to predict beforehand (the gradual onset of darkness) and having made it difficult to interact with other people throughout most of his life. August has found a means to suppress this field, which unfortunately also suppresses all his other abilities.
- Eye Contact: In order to erase energy, August needs to be able to see what he erases. He creates an area of null energy around the object, which he can then maintain without having to constantly look at it. This applies to static objects. Moving objects he will need to constantly keep his eye on.
- Constant focus: When erasing certain kinds of energy, especially from multiple sources, August must maintain a fair deal of focus to maintain each "null field". Fires can be extinguished, but things like electrical circuits can not as the source lies somewhere else entirely. Once he loses that focus or stops using this ability, power goes back on as usual. Erasing a superpower requires a great deal of focus and prevents him from using his power on other objects.
- Hand of Midas: August unwillingly erases the energy of objects he touches and induced some interference even when not touching them. As a result, certain kinds of technology are impractical to use for August when his powers are active, even when wearing gloves.
Equipment:
A serum that is able to suppress his abilities, allowing him quite literally walk in broad daylight among other people, a set of glass lenses to cover his unnatural eyes, concealable knives and several firearms (handgun, long-range rifle + scope).
Finally, he also owns a fold-able scythe, a weapon he decided to acquire after finding about the nickname given to him.Likes: (Optional, though it would be nice if you did it)
Dislikes: (Also optional)
Theme Song: (Optional)

I've had another character in the works as well but that one would be more of a supportive character, so there's no rush there.

- Plasma Manipulation: Kurt is capable of manipulating Plasma - a state of matter consisting of fully ionized gas of low density containing an approximately equal number of positive ions and electrons. Plasma is not frequently common on planet, but its present in lightning, polar Auras, lights, extremely hot fires, and the like. Kurt can almost freely manipulate plasma, producing flight, shields, constructs, and the like, and can even surround himself in a fancy Plasma Aura like something out of a japanese animated show. His plasma is especially hot, and blue, like something out of a video game, and is capable of leaving nasty burns, or destroying most everything in its path if given enough time and power. This sort of plasma is destructive, yet controllable, and can be used by Kurt in various ways. Depending on his energy status, or if he is hyper off of adrenaline or not, Kurt's attacks will vary in power, with the base amount being able to do some decent damage, and the maximum potential of his abilities have yet to be found. Kurt's capable of manipulating his plasma in various ways, be it flight, shields, attacks, and auras.
- Plasma Attacks: Almost every attack listed here can be used by Kurt in battle, provided he has enough adrenaline or energy flowing. Depending on the type of attack listed, it might take either none of his energy, or almost all of it. Therefore, Kurt must wisely use his energy/hyperactivity when he uses his attacks, as it takes time for him to regain his energy over time.
- Plasma Aura: Totally not drawing this from existing characters and japanese animated shows, Kurt is capable of surrounding himself in an Aura of Plasma Energy, which both protects him and damages things around him by causing burn damage. Subconsciously, Kurt is capable of protecting himself from attacks by creating a "plasma exoskeleton", that he is capable of quickly putting up to provide instant, but not necessarily full protection to incoming attacks. While its not as strong as a shield, it can protect him well from quick attacks, especially bullets.
- Limited Plasma Generation: Given he's hyper enough, Kurt is actually capable of somewhat breaking the laws of physics (and my head) by Generating Plasma that can almost directly be used for his abilities. This puts a strain on his body if he generates copious amounts.
- Cybernetic Physiology: Kurt's not necessarily an android, cyborg, or robot. In reality he's basically just a regular human, augmented with various cybernetic upgrades and parts. One most notably being his right eye, which we will get to later. Because of his cybernetic enhancements, Kurt can be considered superhuman, able to preform feats of strength and speed thought impossible by humans. Because of his cybernetic enhancements, Kurt is stronger and faster than most humans, but not necessarily as durable (see weaknesses).
- Hyperactivity Empowerment: Depending on how hyper he is, Kurt's plasma is capable of damaging a variety of targets, from regular cars, to full on Islands. Kurt's powers are almost directly related to his current energy status, meaning that if he is tired, his abilities will not be as powerful as when he's awake and alert. If Kurt is to, say, down 20 Red Bulls, or take a single adrenaline shot, his destructive capability will increase substantially. Just think of the destruction that would happen if he downs 60 Red Bulls or takes 3 adrenaline shots. If he takes 4, well, that brings me to my next point...
- Body Limitations: Kurt knows his body's limits. If he goes over 4 adrenaline shots, his CURRENT maximum, his cybernetic enhancement's safeguard will kick in, and his body will refuse to take more, in the form of pain and weakness. This is for his own good, especially considering his addiction.
- Conservation of energy: Energy can really neither be created nor destroyed. While Kurt is capable of creating plasma energy with enough energy, he's technically not supposed to, and thus draws from a pool of energy that slowly fills over time passively over time or through adrenaline rushes. Producing copious amounts of plasma energy will put a physical strain on Kurt's body and is dangerous to his health.
- Glass Body and Paper Skin: Kurt was unfortunate enough to not be graced with thick skin. While his cybernetic enhancements and passive Plasma exoskeleton ability provide mild protection, from major attacks, he's able to be hurt like any other human and even killed. Because he lacks regeneration capabilities, his body is much more vulnerable to dangerous attacks. If unprotected, one punch from a superhuman can take him out, depending on where he's hit.
- Hyperactivity Empowerment:Kurt's powers being based off of his hyperactivity is a double edged sword. For one thing, he's capable of blowing military bases to Oblivion while he's on his adrenaline rushes, but gets rather unstable when this happens. On the other hand, if he's tired, or drained of his energy (quite literally), his attacks will be comparable to that of a firework sparkler on a celebration.
- Addiction: Kurt has a rather mild addiction to adrenaline, which can often be rehabilitating from withdrawal. As such, he constantly carries around Adrenaline shots to curb his addiction, and hasn't gone out to get the addiction treated. He's known to have breakdowns without having frequent shots. As such, Kurt is somewhat of an insomniac, and rarely, if ever, gets sleep if he's going through a withdrawal phase.
- M5A1 Carbine: A selective fire rifle, perfect for mercenary roles thanks to its weight, and inconspicuous deign. Equipped with an integrated sight, the durable weapon is capable of being fired after being submerged in water, sand, or dirt with a simple shake, and its light weight means the user can carry more ammunition for it into the field. The M5A1 is a prototype, meaning its not in service at the moment. This means Kurt is the only soldier with it, right now. Its equipped with a folding grip that's capable of being used to stabilize the weapon, and the sight is linked to Kurt's Evil Eye, to assist in aiming, as well. It fires 5.56mm explosive-tipped Caseless rounds, effective against armored targets, considering it was to be used against infantry armored in modern armor. That being said, it often requires more hits to score a kill on a target, if its not a headshot or directly hitting the armor of a target.
- The "Evil Eye": Often referred to as Kurt's Edgy little Red Eye. Assisting in almost everything tactical from night vision, to providing a heads up display of the situation and looking cool, Kurt's fancy cybernetic red eye works as well tactically as it does aesthetically. The eye is capable of tracking targets within a line of sight and marking them for Kurt's M5A1, or his Plasma manipulation bolts/blasts/beams. Kurt's Red Eye also works well for night vision, providing night vision, heat vision, and enhanced view vision modes to him at his command. The eye is technically not part of his body considering its cybernetic, but works (and feels) almost exactly like a real eye. Thus, its a big target, and Kurt commonly keeps it hidden with his eye patch, under the guise of an eye injury to curb questions.
Likes: America, war, gyros, Mediterranean food, guns, and adrenaline rushes. Also, sleeping. Notably likes listening to music as he flies into LZ's.
Dislikes: Politicians, war, terrorism, and especially Russians. Views them with suspicion. Absolutely HATES fried foods.
Theme Song: Perfect for flying over oilfields in Blackhawk helicopters

Let me rephrase: I only had an idea for a nation leader.
No idea what he'd be leading, except that'd it be a commie paradise where everyone forgets someone has ever existed if they cross the state and subsequently 'vanish'.
Also, his name is Nikolai. That is imperative.
Maybe I could just claim east Sibera that has somehow been converted into a paradise through advanced tech and several particularly powerful superhumans.
