- Hypersight: Jasper's eyes have the rare gift of being leagues more powerful than those of any other human being, greatly empowering his vision. He can see for miles with ease, and perceive objects smaller than what the human eye can see, as well as detect the slightest variation in lightning or color and see details and patterns with ease. His sight is acute enough to go as far as seeing right through illusions and detecting various kinds of supernatural energy and other such anomalies.
- Chronokinesis: Jasper possesses the rare ability to bend time itself to his will, although it is currently limited in its application. Currently, he can only slow time down to a crawl or stop it entirely. However, both scenarios are vastly different. While slowing down time, he will be slowed down as well, though his perceptions will function normally, allowing him to see and think, but not act, much faster than usual. On the other hand, upon stopping time entirely, he will be able to move around freely, unaffected, but he will not be able to interact with the world. If he is in contact with an object or being, he can render them immune to the time freeze as well. Jasper can also combine this and the above ability to see the past.
- Burst Touch: Jasper has the uncanny power of causing an explosion wherever he touches, if he so wishes. He has control over the intensity of the explosion, but in general it can not be too intense, reaching the power of a car explosion at most. He can also delay the explosion after touching an object, so that it will not occur until after a certain amount of time passes. If there is nothing available to touch, Jasper can also cause an explosion within a small radius around the palms of his hands or the soles of his feet. Incidentally, he receives no harm from his explosions, though he can be harmed by an object accelerated through one of his explosions, or an explosion not caused by him.
- Combat Training: Jasper has received years of intensive combat training under the mentorship of his adopted mother, making him a formidable fighter even without his other abilities. He's particularly prominent with swords, but is also highly skilled in using other weapons and in hand to hand combat.
- Energy limit: Jasper's Chronokinesis is limited by his own energy reserves. Relatively speaking, slowing down time drains a slow to moderate amount of energy, depending on how much he slows it down. On the other hand, the drain from stopping time starts out fairly small, but increases exponentially the longer that time is stopped, meaning that the cost can quickly turn massive if the power is used in excess. Using too much energy can result in damage to Jasper's body, and could even knock him unconscious. Since the energy drain is only gradual, it is not lethal, as Jasper will inevitably fall unconscious long before the point of death and his powers will stop being in effect.
- No flesh burst: Jasper's burst touch cannot work on living beings.
- Human: Jasper's still human and can be put down as easily as any other. 'Nuff said.
Likes: Photography, rock music, girls, fights, swords, supernatural things.
Dislikes: Movies in general, books, guns, dull days, blindfolds.
Theme Song: Here.

The Zoo Crisis Arc is finished, as well as Weatherman Arc (cmiiw), D.C. is still invaded as well as Berlin. A hacker hold Chicago hostages (more or less) while emptying everyone's money.

Considering that where he is from most of the beings are more gruesome than his forms, that is a walk in the park, anyways, Hope the President doesn't mind what is about to happen to the Blue Room.

Is the president still there? Because I think SEEKER might have a problem with you taking a tentacle blob into the White House if they are.

- Enhanced Intelligence: All elves have an enhanced intelligence that goes beyond normality. Some particular applications of said Intelligence is Numerical Precision, Accelerated Probability, and Pattern Sensing.
- Self Sustenance: Elves need no food, drink, or oxygen, but they do need to sleep.
- Curse of Yggdrasil: The curse that Yggdrasil put on the Venyar was one that the Elves consider a power, despite it being actually a curse. That curse/weakness is Apathy, a total lack of emotions.
- Physical Weakness: The Venyar are quite weak in their own bodies, with a lower bone density than that of humans, along with less dense skin.
- Pain Extraction/Storage:[/url] The Cayar can extract someone's injuries, ailments or sorrows and store them within a box designed to hold and capture pain spren--small creatures that gather around pain and are the personification of said pain. Each Cayar, at birth, is given a small cube that is always in their right hand. A Cayar must make sure these pain spren do not escape, (the box breaking or cracking), and if they do escape, what ever pain that was caused happens to the nearest person, or even a group of people. To an extent, a Cayar can control these pain spren. The more pain spren a Cayar has, the stronger he or she is, and thus, sorrow is used as a form of energy.
- [b]Curses: The Cayar also have the ability to lay curses on living things or structures. Perhaps the greatest curse they have at their disposal is the Curse of Sorrow, which drains all of the pain and sorrow spren within a Cayar's cube and inflicts it upon the target. To living beings, this inflicts pain and sorrow, to structures, the curse makes the structure weak and highly degradable. The Curse of Unhealing makes it so the target does not heal from any wounds inflicted, with a varying time limit. And the Curse of Weakness weakens the target's physical attributes for a period of time. Finally, the Curse of Unrest makes a person, for lack of a better word, jittery, unable to pay attention to one thing in particular, anxious.
- Night Vision: The Cayar can see just as in the dark as humans see in the light. In fact their vision in light is also as bad as a human's night vision
- Curse of Yggdrasil: The curse that Yggdrasil put on the Cayar is a hate of noise. Once, the Cayar rejoiced in all noise and sang, but now, they hate even the slightest of sounds, and loud sounds can cause their ears to bleed. Also, the curses that Cayar can inflict on others can backfire if a curse is said carelessly.
- Light: This is a major weakness for the Cayar, for the light is often blinding and hurtful to them.
- Fire and Spark Manipulation:: The Eldjotnar can manipulate fire, along with sparks, the latter of which also allows lightning bolts.
- [b]Supernaturally Dense Tissue: The Eldjotnar have a denser tissue than most, giving them an advanced durability. Their scales themselves are impervious to most things, and so also make excellent armor
- Curse of Yggdrasil: The curse that Yggdrasil put on the Eldjotnar was vanity, a desire to appear honorable and pure to everyone else. However, they are unable ever attain these levels of honor, and either give up the pursuit of honor, or endlessly chase it in an unwinnable race.
- The Shedding: A Eldjotnar must shed their scales every season, and during this time they are almost completely hepless and are always weakened and in great pain.
- Density: The greater density of the Children of the Sun makes it impossible for them to swim, and decreases their speed to at or slightly below human levels.
- Cold Empowerment: The Jotnar gain strength from the cold, thus that when they are in the cold, they have Supernatural Strength, Durability, Self-Sustenance and a Regenerative Healing Factor.
- Curse of Yggdrasil: The curse that Yggdrasil put on the Jotnar was a deprivation of touch. The Jotnar cannot feel objects at all.
- Melting: If a Jotnar enters a warm environment, they could melt, which would lead to death.
- Slowness: The greater height and weight of the Children of Frost decreases their speed dramatically, so that even humans are faster than them.
- Asgardian Physiology including
--Superhuman Strength: (10 tons)
--Superhuman Stamina
--Superhuman Dense Tissue
--Superhuman Durability
--Superhuman Extended Longevity
--Regenerative Healing Factor- Supernatural Combat Skill: All Æsir, with hundreds or thousands of years of combat and training, have mastered the art of combat. This does not mean that they are invincible
- Curse of Yggdrasil: The curse that Yggdrasil put on the Æsir was firstly, against their realm of Urgrund. When the All-Father slumbers, the land withers and dies. The second curse Yggdrasil put on the Æsir was gluttony, blood-lust and hedonism.
- Battle-Rage: In the most desperate situations, during battle or times of extreme rage, the Æsir can enter a rage unlike any other, allowing them to shake off normally lethal wounds and fight even harder. However, their hearts can give out if they remain in this state for too long, and there is possible trauma and death from the wounds suffered during the rage. An Æsir who enters the rage too often will eventually go rabid.

Indo-pasif archipelago wrote:Character Application
Name: Samael Keter
Superhero Name: The Cabalist
Age: 21
Gender: Male
Race/Species: Human
Appearance: Here ya go!
Personality: Samael is an arrogant and highly self-centered person, to the point where one might think he is a megalomania. Nevertheless, he has a high sense of justice and care a lot about everyone around him. He doesn't usually get serious, even in a fight, but one must pay attention when he does get serious, for only a few can withstand his the overkill that is his spells. He is rather mysterious regarding his past and still has a grudge toward them. His life is quite happy though after the Xantheian Incident, since he can play with his spells without worrying about sending his opponent to the Hospital, or worse to the graveyard.
Biography: Samael was born as the last kid of the rich Keter family. You might think that's what made him so arrogant and selfish, but actually his childhood was the opposite of most pampered rich kids. Anytime his brothers did something wrong, he was the one that got the blame. When others were praised for their false achievement and rewarded handsomely, Samael were punished for sins he didn't commit. In his anger, Samael refused to follow what his parents had expected of him. He mockingly refused to study what his parents told him to, instead surrounded himself with 'faux' arcane knowledge and magic 'tricks'. He became a pariah in his own family, a failure everyone wished to go away.
And he did. Just one day, when the servants of Keter Manor knocked upon his door to awoken him from his slumber, they found that his wardrobe and bed are now empty, much to his family amusement. Almost nothing changes in the Manor, and the family never bothered to search their outcasted kin. But to Samael, everything had changed. His first destination was the home of a friendly war veteran that is his friend's grandfather. They both shared interest in the art of magic, and through him Samael found various other with the same dream as him. Soon he found himself drown in the pure seas of magic and revived the forgotten skill of Keter Family; The Dark Arts.
When he first met a cult that claimed to hold one of the most powerful book on magical world, Samael was sceptical. He found soon however, despite the cult's relentless attempt to master the book, only those that have the dark magic itself within their blood can properly master it, and so Samael uncovered the secrets of Codex Damnatio. He titled himself as the Cabalist, Champion of Dark Artistry, and served himself as the watchful guardian of the night. He vowed to protect anyone with the same fate with him, and tried his best to reach his full potential.
Powers/Abilities:
- Dark Artistry Lifelong training in the Dark Arts has granted him a great power against all his adversaries. With simple runes and incantations, Samael can conjure creatures from the deepest abyss, summon a tornado of darkness, and burn his enemy with the same fire that burn through hell for ages. His spells are detailed below.
- Corruptus Fragare: A simple ancient hex, Samael manipulate the innate arcane power in every sapient being, and twisted it into a deadly fire that burn his adversaries and everything it touches.
- Nykta Volverdus: Samael carefully absorbed the shadow and darkness around him, captured it with a rune, and send a whirlwind of shadow forward to destroy anything on its path.
- Nykta Elecktror: Using an ancient rune to trap the darkness around him, Samael let go the dark energy in a surge of magical blast, electrocuting his enemies while hampering their own innate ability.
- Sanguis Invocere: Samael cast a rune using his own blood. The invocation conjure a spirit that consume his own blood from the rune that obey him and has the same endurance level with him. He can only sustain maximum two spirits using his own blood, although a longer version of the ritual can enable him to bind his enemy into the spirit, hence allow him to have more than two spirits.
- Corruptus Kinein: The corrupted essence within every being can be manipulate for various purpose, and one is to affect the movement of physical world. The spell is useful to control the fire produced by Corruptus Fragare and telekinetically move small objects.
- Sanguis Anguistae Tineshtai: Samael marked his opponent by his own blood, and punish them by their own blood. The spell slowly consumed the blood of anyone that is marked by the caster's blood (including Samael) and inflict them with the greatest pain they have ever felt.
- Corruptus Suus Aequalis: The rune tattooed into Samael's arm depleted his own arcane energy to heal himself or his allies. Can be cast regardless of distance as long as Samael has visual contact on his target. Prolonged use may put Samael into coma or corrupted the target's sanity.
- Sanguis Impendere Ruptus: Samael sacrifices his blood in the middle of the rune, which is consumed to power a large explosion within the rune's range. The explosion is delayed for a few second to give Samael a chance to retreat.
- Nykta Movere Vocivus, Peisma Perpetuus: The runes of Nyktum absorbs the darkness around it and circle an area ahead of it, ceasing all movement inside the circle. Samael needs constant concentration to maintain the spell. He can only speak and cast some of runeless spells (e.g. Corruptus Fragare and Corruptus Kinein) without breaking the spell.
- And the list go on...: His magics grow along with his knowledge. The list of spells might grow with the progession of the RP
Weaknesses
- Perfection Needs Patience: Just with any art, careful measure and great patience is needed to make a spectacular artwork. Samael needs to write the runes accurately and must speaks the incantations, which may need a long time that can be used by his enemy to attack him.
- The Cost of Magic: Most of his spells need to 'consume' a few things to work. While they don't necessarily consume blood, they will not work if they have something to consume. Ie. Nyktum spells need to consume darkness, Corruptus spells need to consume life-force or arcane energy and so on.
- Limited Memory: While he is of great intellect and power, perfect spells need perfect invocation. Thus he always keeps the Codex Damnatio that details the pattern of the rune, list of incantations, and how to read them properly
Equipment: Codex Damnatio, pre-written rune for emergency, the ominously black coloured robe with an indigo sephiroth drawn on it, dark violet armlet that together with his robe helps focusing his power, and basic mortal human needs.Likes: Magic, bragging his own abilities, slowcore music, Twilight Zone (the TV Series), cloudy days, and Capestagram
Dislikes: Heavy Metal Music, sunny days, nighttime, and Capestagram
Theme Song: Got no idea, any suggestions?
Additional information:
RP Sample: N/A
I'm aiming for Dark Is Not Edgy here, hopefully it can past the edgy char filter.
