Character Application

Name: Jasper Greyson

Superhero Name: N/A

Age: 23

Gender: Male

Race/Species: Human

Appearance: Here. At the risk of making him look like a Mary Sue or something like that... his eyes look more or less like this.

Personality: Jasper is a laid back and carefree individual who is as comfortable by himself as he is with other people, perfectly willing to hang out with friends or stay at home practicing with his sword or doing dumb experiments. Not a violent person normally, he prefers to stay away and observe if something is going on, though he won't hesitate to get involved if he thinks it's something he must do. He's rarely serious and prefers to treat most situations with a mix of humor and relaxation, though this may sometimes make him come across as overconfident.

Biography: The story of Jasper begins on an orphanage in Diluvia, where he had been left by his parents, who remain unknown to this day. For reasons no one was aware of, the child had a strange gift, his irises showing a myriad lights instead of a single color, and seemingly able to see all. At first, this didn't seem to be such a big deal: there was simply a kid with strange eyes and exceptional eyesight. But as he grew up some more, the other children at the orphanage began to truly notice these difference, some regarding him with curiosity and others with disgust, though all of them were clearly well aware that he was different from them. He didn't think much of it, though, and simply continued as usual, minding his own business for the most part. His eyes were a gift with many uses, but as he had been born with them, it was somewhat difficult to relate to others at first. Such were the first few years of his life.

When he was around eight years old, a young woman visited Diluvia while traveling around the world. She was an American, an infamous warrior, relic collector and self-appointed demon hunter that lived in Japan. Thanks to some strange twist of fate, she visited the orphanage where the child lived, and the two met. As soon as she saw him, she could tell he had a gift, and she stayed for several days to interact with him and see what exactly made him special. Indeed, she realized that he had a unique ability, and she also realized that this was likely the reason he was still there. Families went to an orphanage to adopt a child, not a freak of nature as many likely thought the child was, and the few who were willing to take him in were those who would take advantage of his gifts. Not wanting any such person to find him, she decided to adopt him and take him with her, changing his name from some obscure Diluvian word to Jasper, a name matching her own, and bringing him to Japan.

In comparison with his relatively uneventful early childhood, the next several years were basically a roller-coaster for Jasper. The boy soon learned that having a mother with such eclectic and exceptional interests was a good way to ensure that there was never a dull day. Still young, the boy was naturally curious, and the so-called demon hunter's home was filled with all sorts of exotic trophies and artifacts, each one with one hell of a story to tell. Her mother found his behavior quite endearing and was quick to bond with him, telling him her stories and noticing with much amusement that he believed every word even when most adults would not have been willing to do so. Jasper was introduced to the world of the occult and the supernatural, of demons and spirits, and came to see his new mother as a role model of sorts, enraptured with countless tales of epic quests and fights.

Naturally, since battle was a big part of his mother's stories, it was not long before he asked her to teach him how to fight. At first, she refused, arguing that he didn't know what he was saying. But eventually, after she was sufficiently satisfied with his efforts and could tell that he knew what he was getting into, she agreed to train him. And when the deal was sealed, she didn't hold back, making him work the whole day to become stronger and more agile, to learn how to fight. It was arduous, excruciating even, and at many points the thought of giving up and asking her to forget everything crossed his mind, but he persevered, and soon enough the results became evident. He was indeed becoming stronger and faster, and though on sparring matches she would inevitably beat her into submission, it was clear that he was doing better each time. She trained him in using all sorts of weapon, but he showed a clear predilection for swords, perhaps as a result of being trained in the land of the samurai, and so, it was with this weapon that she trained him the most.

Though she always refused to take him with her whenever she got a job, he still turned into a rather strong warrior as he grew up. But the days turned to months, and the months turned to years, and Jasper's mother decided that training wasn't and shouldn't be everything in his life. He had always shown a taste for certain arts, photography in particular, whenever he wasn't training. With this in mind, she arranged to have him sent to study at an art school in the US, giving him enough money to be comfortable and also a bunch of eccentric parting gifts, with two of them standing out. The first was an enchanted katana; he had no idea how it had been forged or where she got it from, as she had been particularly silent about it, but he was happy with it nonetheless. The second was a camera that could inexplicably harness the gift of his eyes. He thanked her for these gifts, and then parted.

His life on the US was relatively simple, with his studies being the only important thing on his mind. He was able to adapt to the local culture fairly easily, as even though his mother had lived and raised him in Japan, she was still an American and exhibited several habits that belonged to a person of the West and not the East. Two years into his life in the US, however, everything changed. A pulse from the Xantheian box hit him, endowing him with more gifts than he would honestly have asked for if given a choice. It was quite a hassle, going through his daily life while getting used to them, but he soon learned to control them and continued as usual, not making a big deal of them or running out to save the day like many others would have, though he used them for good on occasion.

After finishing his studies, Jasper decided that he did not want to return to Japan just yet, a decision that his mother seemed to agree with, and so, he found himself a nice place to stay instead. It did not take long before he took an interest in the ever-growing world of superheroes and supervillains, and he started taking pictures of them when they were out in the sky, occasionally selling them to newspapers and magazines and generally working as a freelance photographer. With his eyes, he was able to appreciate the struggles between good and evil in all of its glorious details, and soon made it a habit to travel around the country while trying to catch a good picture. He has been living in this manner for the past two years.

Powers/Abilities:
  • Hypersight: Jasper's eyes have the rare gift of being leagues more powerful than those of any other human being, greatly empowering his vision. He can see for miles with ease, and perceive objects smaller than what the human eye can see, as well as detect the slightest variation in lightning or color and see details and patterns with ease. His sight is acute enough to go as far as seeing right through illusions and detecting various kinds of supernatural energy and other such anomalies.
  • Chronokinesis: Jasper possesses the rare ability to bend time itself to his will, although it is currently limited in its application. Currently, he can only slow time down to a crawl or stop it entirely. However, both scenarios are vastly different. While slowing down time, he will be slowed down as well, though his perceptions will function normally, allowing him to see and think, but not act, much faster than usual. On the other hand, upon stopping time entirely, he will be able to move around freely, unaffected, but he will not be able to interact with the world. If he is in contact with an object or being, he can render them immune to the time freeze as well. Jasper can also combine this and the above ability to see the past.
  • Burst Touch: Jasper has the uncanny power of causing an explosion wherever he touches, if he so wishes. He has control over the intensity of the explosion, but in general it can not be too intense, reaching the power of a car explosion at most. He can also delay the explosion after touching an object, so that it will not occur until after a certain amount of time passes. If there is nothing available to touch, Jasper can also cause an explosion within a small radius around the palms of his hands or the soles of his feet. Incidentally, he receives no harm from his explosions, though he can be harmed by an object accelerated through one of his explosions, or an explosion not caused by him.
  • Combat Training: Jasper has received years of intensive combat training under the mentorship of his adopted mother, making him a formidable fighter even without his other abilities. He's particularly prominent with swords, but is also highly skilled in using other weapons and in hand to hand combat.

Weaknesses
  • Energy limit: Jasper's Chronokinesis is limited by his own energy reserves. Relatively speaking, slowing down time drains a slow to moderate amount of energy, depending on how much he slows it down. On the other hand, the drain from stopping time starts out fairly small, but increases exponentially the longer that time is stopped, meaning that the cost can quickly turn massive if the power is used in excess. Using too much energy can result in damage to Jasper's body, and could even knock him unconscious. Since the energy drain is only gradual, it is not lethal, as Jasper will inevitably fall unconscious long before the point of death and his powers will stop being in effect.
  • No flesh burst: Jasper's burst touch cannot work on living beings.
  • Human: Jasper's still human and can be put down as easily as any other. 'Nuff said.

Equipment: A special camera that can only be used by Jasper and can make use of his eyes' power, an assortment of swords which includes an enchanted indestructible katana that he always carries with him, a handful of relics, a pair of sunglasses.

Likes: Photography, rock music, girls, fights, swords, supernatural things.
Dislikes: Movies in general, books, guns, dull days, blindfolds.
Theme Song: Here.

Additional information: His birthday is on the 6th of February.

Your choice. Play mediator if you want or just wait if you don't.

Or stir the waters up some more. I don't see how this situation could get any worse, so if you want to it would just make the chos greater.

Is the president still there? Because I think SEEKER might have a problem with you taking a tentacle blob into the White House if they are.

That'd be Bermuda's call, I think. Anyway, I'm heading to bed around about now (sorry all).

UEF, assume you can haul the blob into the Blue Room. It'll probably try and stay away, but half of it will help you. And you can also describe the effects on Jas and Rei.

The Nine Realms

Long ago, when the universe was filled with stars, but little life, a lone cosmic being, Hadrimmelis the World-Dragon s engaged in an iniative, to bring life to a universe that was not truly alive. And so, she created a star, in seed form, and set its on its way. In a journey that lasted many, many years, the seed gained sentience. And then one day, it bloomed, taking on the form of an ash tree, stretching throughout nine dimensions with its literal and metaphorical branches. It would come to gain the name of Yggdrasil. But there was nothing to inhabit it, and so, it created a world. A world that was called Urgrund. Upon it was born several races, among them the Æsir, lords and ladies of war, the Vanir, excelling in wisdom and the arts, the Venyar, cyber-elves of technology, the Cayar, who were known as the Elves of Sorrow and Morrow, along with other races. But from their differences conflict sprouted and bloomed, and so war came to Urgrund, a great, terrible war that tore apart friendships and alliances alike. It was every race for their own self, and some were brought to the brink of extinction. And so when the ashes had settled, and all were weary of lifting their weapons, Yggdrasil intervened, creating a separate planet for each race. And so the Nine Realms were born. The Æsir remained on Urgrund, and renamed it Asgard. But there was a price to pay for all of their actions, and so, Yggdrasil set a curse upon each race. Ever since, there has been relative peace, but with an undercurrent of tension that cannot be ignored forever.

Culture/World: The Venyar live upon Álfheimr, a land that was once could compete with the likes of Urgrund. But once the resources were all used up, it was all stripped in the name of technology. The landscape is dotted with ships, where all Venyar live now, and to even walk on land is a forbidden foreign phenonmenom that most have never participated in. Most Venyar own a personal hovercraft, and the most extravagant own these. The Venyar culture is strict and rigid with firm rules that are not meant to be broken at any costs. Everything is run like a machine. When a couple--matched together by a mating program that analyzes their compatability decide to have a baby, another program is utilized to make that child out of given genes. The couple can decide the child's gender, habits, powers, and dispositions. There is little free will for the child, the parents control whether a child goes into the assigned fields of Science, War, Construction or Care. Those who go into the field of Science are innovators, designers, who manage the Venyar's version of the Internet--a huge database of information and AIs, design the technological advancements of the day or conduct research to better Venyar society. Those who go into War are given incredibly powerful suits of advanced armor in which they are basically pilots, each armor equipped with an HUD, targeting system, life support, an AI and gauntlets that can tear through most things. Those who go into Construction are the builders and mechanics of all things, and those in Care take care of menial tasks. Regarding physiology, the elves are quite similar to cyborgs or androids, with a power button at the back of their necks and another on their foreheads, along with a battery in place of their heart, which provides electricity to power them. They require no air, nor food, but they do need sleep of a kind, or recharging. Elves also have a thinner bone density than ordinary humans, and the gravity upon Alfheimr is much lower than Earth's. Elves who act contrary to the wills of the Conclave, the ruling body upon Alfheimr which rules in a hall known as The Shard, are labeled as defective.

Biography/Lore: The Venyar were created by the great ash tree of Yggdrasil, upon Urgrund. After a war fought over forgotten issues, the Venyar were forced upon a long Pilgrimage across the branches of the great tree, braving dangers such as the snakes of Hvergelmir, the great squirrel Ratatoskr and the wyrm Níðhöggr who gnaws always at Yggdrasil. Before the War, the Venyar had been looser than they were, but upon Alfheimr, once many resources were used up due to a tragedy of the commons, leadership emerged, in the name of 4 elves who named themselves the Conclave. And then they created the Infinity Serum, which gave them immortality. They enforced peace and order, and the system that holds Alfheimr together to this day.

Inherent Powers/Abilities:

Weaknesses
  • Curse of Yggdrasil: The curse that Yggdrasil put on the Venyar was one that the Elves consider a power, despite it being actually a curse. That curse/weakness is Apathy, a total lack of emotions.
  • Physical Weakness: The Venyar are quite weak in their own bodies, with a lower bone density than that of humans, along with less dense skin.

Additional information:

Race Name: Cayar | The Elves of Sorrow

Location: Svartalfheim

Race Appearance: Females and Males

Culture/World: Svartalfheim is a realm where survival is hard even for its long-time inhabitants. It is a swamp land, dark and murky, with the shadows filled with squirming wyrms and lizards. The Cayar live in tunnels, far underground that are lit by no lanterns or lights. Although they have vocal cords, they are not used at all, the Cayar instead prefer silence, communicating through an extremely complicated set of hand-signals. However, the Cayar are also master forgers, accomplishing this through the use of a special type of fire that emits no light whatsoever. It is rare for a Cayar to go above ground, and they are a secretive, shy people.

Biography/Lore: The Cayar were created by the great ash tree of Yggdrasil, upon Urgrund. After a war fought over forgotten issues, the Cayarr were forced upon a long Pilgrimage across the branches of the great tree, braving dangers such as the snakes of Hvergelmir, the great squirrel Ratatoskr and the wyrm Níðhöggr who gnaws always at Yggdrasil. Before the War, the Cayar were great makers of noise, and beautiful singers, but now, all is quiet upon Svartalfheim.

Inherent Powers/Abilities:

  • Pain Extraction/Storage:[/url] The Cayar can extract someone's injuries, ailments or sorrows and store them within a box designed to hold and capture pain spren--small creatures that gather around pain and are the personification of said pain. Each Cayar, at birth, is given a small cube that is always in their right hand. A Cayar must make sure these pain spren do not escape, (the box breaking or cracking), and if they do escape, what ever pain that was caused happens to the nearest person, or even a group of people. To an extent, a Cayar can control these pain spren. The more pain spren a Cayar has, the stronger he or she is, and thus, sorrow is used as a form of energy.
  • [b]Curses: The Cayar also have the ability to lay curses on living things or structures. Perhaps the greatest curse they have at their disposal is the Curse of Sorrow, which drains all of the pain and sorrow spren within a Cayar's cube and inflicts it upon the target. To living beings, this inflicts pain and sorrow, to structures, the curse makes the structure weak and highly degradable. The Curse of Unhealing makes it so the target does not heal from any wounds inflicted, with a varying time limit. And the Curse of Weakness weakens the target's physical attributes for a period of time. Finally, the Curse of Unrest makes a person, for lack of a better word, jittery, unable to pay attention to one thing in particular, anxious.
  • Night Vision: The Cayar can see just as in the dark as humans see in the light. In fact their vision in light is also as bad as a human's night vision

Weaknesses
  • Curse of Yggdrasil: The curse that Yggdrasil put on the Cayar is a hate of noise. Once, the Cayar rejoiced in all noise and sang, but now, they hate even the slightest of sounds, and loud sounds can cause their ears to bleed. Also, the curses that Cayar can inflict on others can backfire if a curse is said carelessly.
  • Light: This is a major weakness for the Cayar, for the light is often blinding and hurtful to them.

Additional information:

Race Name: Eldjötnar | The Children of the Sun

Location: Muspelheim

Race Appearance: For a lack of male pictures...Here, here, here, along with scales and horns like these.

Culture/World: Muspelheim is a hot and dry planet, with occasional, but not frequent rain. Sandstorms sweep across the landscape at least once a day, and it is a struggle not to be scorched by the sun or buried by the burning sands. Muspelheim is a planet where the Eldjötnar uphold themselves to the highest standards of honor, as shown by the invocation shared by all of the various orders: "Life before Death. Strength before Weakness. Journey before Destination." Muspelheim is inhabited and protected by several autonomous knighthoods and orders, which have varied control over law, order and religion in the sectors that they control. However, despite their high moral standards, there is rampant corruption and individualism within the order. Everyone does what is right in their own eyes, in order to gain the rank of Grand Maestro within their Order. While the northern hemisphere has been relatively free of monsters, the southern hemisphere is plagued with fire demons, or as the Eldjotnar call them: Rjúfendr, who threaten to tear down the orders and whatever stands in their way.

Each Eldjotnar possesses scales on their face, neck, hands and feet. The Eldjotnar also grow horns, as seen in the images. Every season, in an event known as the Shedding, each Eldjotnar sheds their scales, which is an extremely painful occurence.

Biography/Lore: The Eldjotnar were created by the great ash tree of Yggdrasil, upon Urgrund. After a war fought over forgotten issues, the Eldjotnar were forced upon a long Pilgrimage across the branches of the great tree, braving dangers such as the snakes of Hvergelmir, the great squirrel Ratatoskr and the wyrm Níðhöggr who gnaws always at Yggdrasil. Before the War, the Eldjotnar were truly honorable, loyal friends and stalwart comrades. But now, thier honor is a facade.

Inherent Powers/Abilities:

  • Fire and Spark Manipulation:: The Eldjotnar can manipulate fire, along with sparks, the latter of which also allows lightning bolts.
  • [b]Supernaturally Dense Tissue: The Eldjotnar have a denser tissue than most, giving them an advanced durability. Their scales themselves are impervious to most things, and so also make excellent armor

Weaknesses
  • Curse of Yggdrasil: The curse that Yggdrasil put on the Eldjotnar was vanity, a desire to appear honorable and pure to everyone else. However, they are unable ever attain these levels of honor, and either give up the pursuit of honor, or endlessly chase it in an unwinnable race.
  • The Shedding: A Eldjotnar must shed their scales every season, and during this time they are almost completely hepless and are always weakened and in great pain.
  • Density: The greater density of the Children of the Sun makes it impossible for them to swim, and decreases their speed to at or slightly below human levels.

Additional information:

Race Name: Jötnar | The Children of Frost

Location: Jötunheimr

Race Appearance: Here, here, here and here.

Culture/World: Jotunheimr is a barren, icy realm, a realm with no animals, no life save for the Jotnar. The Jotnar themselves are rather autonomous, but are led by a hereditary King who demands occasional tribute and forces. Jotnar as they grow older, also grow in height until they are sometimes 20 to 30 feet tall.

Biography/Lore: The Jtonar were created by the great ash tree of Yggdrasil, upon Urgrund. After a war fought over forgotten issues, the Jotnar were forced upon a long Pilgrimage across the branches of the great tree, braving dangers such as the snakes of Hvergelmir, the great squirrel Ratatoskr and the wyrm Níðhöggr who gnaws always at Yggdrasil. Now the Jotnar are in conflict constantly with the AEsir especially.

Inherent Powers/Abilities:

  • Cold Empowerment: The Jotnar gain strength from the cold, thus that when they are in the cold, they have Supernatural Strength, Durability, Self-Sustenance and a Regenerative Healing Factor.

Weaknesses
  • Curse of Yggdrasil: The curse that Yggdrasil put on the Jotnar was a deprivation of touch. The Jotnar cannot feel objects at all.
  • Melting: If a Jotnar enters a warm environment, they could melt, which would lead to death.
  • Slowness: The greater height and weight of the Children of Frost decreases their speed dramatically, so that even humans are faster than them.

Additional information:

Race Name: Æsir

Location: Urgrund

Race Appearance: They look just like humans, except being a little taller.

Culture/World: The Æsir live upon Urgrund, the place where the peoples of the Nine Realms were born. Urgrund was a beautiful land, filled with the bounties of beast and field, a golden land of waterfalls, hills and plains. There were great, golden structures built by the peoples of the Nine Realms, and all was well. But then the War happened. A great terrible war. And Urgrund would never be the same again. At first all appeared to be the same when the other races left. But when Odin, the All-Father of the Æsir departed into his Odinsleep, the land changed. It became barren, a wasteland, gray and dead.

The Æsir are a merry folk, often feasting before, during and after battle. They delight in battle, food and good drink, along with a good stories. War is no terrifying thing to them, but they revel in it, and view it as an opportunity to gain glory.

Biography/Lore: The first of the Æsir, the first accounted one was Odin, Lord of all Æsir, etc...

Inherent Powers/Abilities:

  • Asgardian Physiology including
    --Superhuman Strength: (10 tons)
    --Superhuman Stamina
    --Superhuman Dense Tissue
    --Superhuman Durability
    --Superhuman Extended Longevity
    --Regenerative Healing Factor
  • Supernatural Combat Skill: All Æsir, with hundreds or thousands of years of combat and training, have mastered the art of combat. This does not mean that they are invincible

Weaknesses
  • Curse of Yggdrasil: The curse that Yggdrasil put on the Æsir was firstly, against their realm of Urgrund. When the All-Father slumbers, the land withers and dies. The second curse Yggdrasil put on the Æsir was gluttony, blood-lust and hedonism.
  • Battle-Rage: In the most desperate situations, during battle or times of extreme rage, the Æsir can enter a rage unlike any other, allowing them to shake off normally lethal wounds and fight even harder. However, their hearts can give out if they remain in this state for too long, and there is possible trauma and death from the wounds suffered during the rage. An Æsir who enters the rage too often will eventually go rabid.

You could just have him help civilians, or criminals could be active during the Zoo chaos, idk.

Name: Samael Keter

Superhero Name: The Cabalist

Age: 21

Gender: Male

Race/Species: Human

Appearance: Here ya go!

Personality: Samael is an arrogant and highly self-centered person, to the point where one might think he is a megalomania. Nevertheless, he has a high sense of justice and care a lot about everyone around him. He doesn't usually get serious, even in a fight, but one must pay attention when he does get serious, for only a few can withstand his the overkill that is his spells. He is rather mysterious regarding his past and still has a grudge toward them. His life is quite happy though after the Xantheian Incident, since he can play with his spells without worrying about sending his opponent to the Hospital, or worse to the graveyard.

Biography: Samael was born as the last kid of the rich Keter family. You might think that's what made him so arrogant and selfish, but actually his childhood was the opposite of most pampered rich kids. Anytime his brothers did something wrong, he was the one that got the blame. When others were praised for their false achievement and rewarded handsomely, Samael were punished for sins he didn't commit. In his anger, Samael refused to follow what his parents had expected of him. He mockingly refused to study what his parents told him to, instead surrounded himself with 'faux' arcane knowledge and magic 'tricks'. He became a pariah in his own family, a failure everyone wished to go away.

And he did. Just one day, when the servants of Keter Manor knocked upon his door to awoken him from his slumber, they found that his wardrobe and bed are now empty, much to his family amusement. Almost nothing changes in the Manor, and the family never bothered to search their outcasted kin. But to Samael, everything had changed. His first destination was the home of a friendly war veteran that is his friend's grandfather. They both shared interest in the art of magic, and through him Samael found various other with the same dream as him. Soon he found himself drown in the pure seas of magic and revived the forgotten skill of Keter Family; The Dark Arts.

When he first met a cult that claimed to hold one of the most powerful book on magical world, Samael was sceptical. He found soon however, despite the cult's relentless attempt to master the book, only those that have the dark magic itself within their blood can properly master it, and so Samael uncovered the secrets of Codex Damnatio. He titled himself as the Cabalist, Champion of Dark Artistry, and served himself as the watchful guardian of the night. He vowed to protect anyone with the same fate with him, and tried his best to reach his full potential.

Powers/Abilities:
  • Dark Artistry Lifelong training in the Dark Arts has granted him a great power against all his adversaries. With simple runes and incantations, Samael can conjure creatures from the deepest abyss, summon a tornado of darkness, and burn his enemy with the same fire that burn through hell for ages. His spells are detailed below.
    • Corruptus Fragare: A simple ancient hex, Samael manipulate the innate arcane power in every sapient being, and twisted it into a deadly fire that burn his adversaries and everything it touches.
    • Nykta Volverdus: Samael carefully absorbed the shadow and darkness around him, captured it with a rune, and send a whirlwind of shadow forward to destroy anything on its path.
    • Nykta Elecktror: Using an ancient rune to trap the darkness around him, Samael let go the dark energy in a surge of magical blast, electrocuting his enemies while hampering their own innate ability.
    • Sanguis Invocere: Samael cast a rune using his own blood. The invocation conjure a spirit that consume his own blood from the rune that obey him and has the same endurance level with him. He can only sustain maximum two spirits using his own blood, although a longer version of the ritual can enable him to bind his enemy into the spirit, hence allow him to have more than two spirits.
    • Corruptus Kinein: The corrupted essence within every being can be manipulate for various purpose, and one is to affect the movement of physical world. The spell is useful to control the fire produced by Corruptus Fragare and telekinetically move small objects.
    • Sanguis Anguistae Tineshtai: Samael marked his opponent by his own blood, and punish them by their own blood. The spell slowly consumed the blood of anyone that is marked by the caster's blood (including Samael) and inflict them with the greatest pain they have ever felt.
    • Corruptus Suus Aequalis: The rune tattooed into Samael's arm depleted his own arcane energy to heal himself or his allies. Can be cast regardless of distance as long as Samael has visual contact on his target. Prolonged use may put Samael into coma or corrupted the target's sanity.
    • Sanguis Impendere Ruptus: Samael sacrifices his blood in the middle of the rune, which is consumed to power a large explosion within the rune's range. The explosion is delayed for a few second to give Samael a chance to retreat.
    • Nykta Movere Vocivus, Peisma Perpetuus: The runes of Nyktum absorbs the darkness around it and circle an area ahead of it, ceasing all movement inside the circle. Samael needs constant concentration to maintain the spell. He can only speak and cast some of runeless spells (e.g. Corruptus Fragare and Corruptus Kinein) without breaking the spell.
    • And the list go on...: His magics grow along with his knowledge. The list of spells might grow with the progession of the RP

Weaknesses
  • Perfection Needs Patience: Just with any art, careful measure and great patience is needed to make a spectacular artwork. Samael needs to write the runes accurately and must speaks the incantations, which may need a long time that can be used by his enemy to attack him.
  • The Cost of Magic: Most of his spells need to 'consume' a few things to work. While they don't necessarily consume blood, they will not work if they have something to consume. Ie. Nyktum spells need to consume darkness, Corruptus spells need to consume life-force or arcane energy and so on.
  • Limited Memory: While he is of great intellect and power, perfect spells need perfect invocation. Thus he always keeps the Codex Damnatio that details the pattern of the rune, list of incantations, and how to read them properly

Equipment: Codex Damnatio, pre-written rune for emergency, the ominously black coloured robe with an indigo sephiroth drawn on it, dark violet armlet that together with his robe helps focusing his power, and basic mortal human needs.

Likes: Magic, bragging his own abilities, slowcore music, Twilight Zone (the TV Series), cloudy days, and Capestagram
Dislikes: Heavy Metal Music, sunny days, nighttime, and Capestagram
Theme Song: Got no idea, any suggestions?

Additional information:

RP Sample: N/A

I'm aiming for Dark Is Not Edgy here, hopefully it can past the edgy char filter.
