Appearance: He's about 6'1, 225lb. He has slightly tanned skin, hazel eyes and brown hair. As Beast he uses his animal morphing abilities to take on the characteristics of multiple animals, resulting in this.

Personality: Overall, Beast is a kind person, happy to help out whenever possible.

Biography: Jacob Bryant was born in a small mountain town in Western North Carolina, so small there were barely 8,000 people in the entire county. He was of Irish descent, a fact that he was often teased for in his youth, that as well as his fascination with all sorts of animals. His love for all manner of creatures earned him the name 'Beast', which stuck with him all throughout his school years. It didn't bother him, and it actually helped him some when he joined the wrestling and football teams in middle school. By 7th grade, the teasing had ended and he was a fairly well liked dude.

He had always been a rather large guy, so it surprised people to learn that he was a pacifist at heart, which was odd for someone who played football and wrestled. During his 8th grade year, Jacob found a love for theater, especially musical theater. This just added to his after school activities, as did choir once he got to High School. Jacob was a very busy young man, always doing something with the school. When he wasn't at football or wrestling, he was with the drama kids or in the choir room, and when he wasn't there, he was at the animal shelter. Jacob kept himself occupied.

It wasn't a surprise to him that when he was hit by the power of the Pandora's Box that his powers involved animals, it made a lot of sense to him, given the fact that he was around them so often. What surprised him more was when he learned about his 'musical' ability. Of course, he hadn't yet found a practical use other than turning himself into a literal one-man boy band, which was good for YouTube but not much else. Once he went to college, one of his more scientific friends, who also happened to be the only one who knew about his powers, happened to come up with a few theories as to how he could use the power offensively and defensively, and agreed to work with him on figuring out how do more than creep out the bad guys.

Powers/Abilities:

• Animal Morphing: Jacob can transform into animals, both partially or completely, as well as use the abilities, traits and appearance/physiology of animals.
• Zoolingualism: Jacob is able to talk to animals.
• Music Manipulation: Jacob can manipulate and generate music. So far he's only learned how to generate harmonies, but over time he'll learn other techniques.

Weaknesses

• Animal Instincts: He sometimes takes on some of the instincts of the animals he becomes, mostly absorbing their fears.
• Limited Zoolingualism: He cannot talk to fish (except for sharks).
