Name: Leona Visarionova
Superhero Name: Secret identities are a social construct meant to validate the capitalist agenda. We haven't figured out how yet, but we're trying.
Age: 34
Gender: F
Race/Species: Human
Appearance: Even the red aura is there
Personality: As a reincarnation of a nameless Soviet revolutionary, Leona has inherited all of the character traits and ideas from her previous incarnation. Her entire thing, her life fuel is the loyalty to the world revolution and Socialist glory - and she truly believes in it's ideals. Leona is also a natural leader and quite a charismatic person, though the most visible personality trait of hers is unyielding stubbornness. Even when faced with impossible odds, even with everyone she loves and cares for captured, even with a gun barrel rammed at the back of her head, she will not back down from her cause and will not yield.
Biography: The story of Leona Visarionova starts neither today nor at the time of her birth in 1982, but rather many, many years back in the beginning of the 20th century. Vladislav Simbirsky, Prince of Kazan, was born on April 21st, 1889 of the Julian Calendar in the central parts of the Russian Empire, to a family of wealthy and influential boyars under the service of Tsar Nicholas II. Being born into the top cream of the imperial society, Vladislav received the highest quality education possible and began studies at a very young age. This is how he soon found the works of a particular Jewish writer from Germany, Karl Marx, and despite being considered as one of the "bourgeois", he became thrilled with the idea of world revolution and an utopian communist society. He soon contacted the largest Russian communist party, the Bolsheviks, while they were in exile, and became their agent inside the country, helping smuggle socialist propaganda and works in. In fact, he personally met the leader of the group, Vladimir Ulyanov-Lenin, and the latter later referred to Vladislav in his works as a "young and hot-headed, but promising boy". While that was important to the Prince's life, a far more impractical event happened while he was still a child. During the craze for Ancient Egypt, the Russians outfitted an expedition to one of the many tombs, and Vladislav's father, Grand Duke Simbirsky, joined the group. As a devout Orthodox person, he hoped to find some sorts of traces of Christian thinking in the pagan Egyptian society. Of course, the expedition did not find much, but the Duke personally retrieved an odd golden cube out of the tombs, one that seemed to be unbreakable and impenetrable aside for a single button at the side, which he gifted to his son as a strange toy. Vladislav would later find out exactly what the accessory did, but far, far too late...
Vladislav served in the Russian Army during World War I, but did not fight on the front lines too much - the nobles were not there to fight, that was a job for the peasants. However, this only solidified the revolutionary thinking of the young Prince (why do I get to sit here and watch while millions die? What horrible inequality is this?), and as soon as his time of service was over, he joined the socialist October Revolution and became one of the first officers to sign up for the Workers and Peasants Red Army. Of course, socialism could not be built just yet, there was a Civil War to win... Vladislav was assigned to the division in the outskirts of Tsaritsyn, and their first battles with the White forces and their Volunteer Army were disastrous! The path to Moscow was open, and an army of 30 000 soldiers was surrounded by the enemy in the city. The battle for the town raged, but the Monarchists were far better equipped and more organized. Vladislav's infantry company, the one he led, was one of the last to be surrounded and destroyed by the Whites, only a few days before reinforcements from the North could arrive. Inside the city, it truly looked like the Bolshevik forces have been defeated and the revolution crushed. The Prince, at one of his last moments when trapped in an abandoned house with enemy troops storming it, held tight onto the golden cube he always carried and muttered through his tears: "The revolution has been defeated... Please, someone, give me a second chance...
And...
On April 21st, 1982, 63 years after the Red Army 3rd Corps was defeated in Tsaritsyn, now Volgograd, Soviet Union, in the exact same house where Prince Vladislav Simbirsky of Kazan was killed in action by White soldiers, a girl was born to the worker family of Visarionovs, named Leona. Vladislav's second chance came to life. She looked like a perfectly fine baby from the outside, but the family soon found that something odd was with her. First of all, Leona acted very strangely - she was very wary and distrusting of anything when inside the house the family lived in, and instinctively had her favorite places around the city. For example, the girl really liked to visit the Proletarian Square and wander around it, as if in nostalgia - a history buff might note that it is, among others, the place where the 5th Infantry Company, led by some Simbirsky person, engaged in a three-day long skirmish with invading White troops. When the family had to choose a vacation spot, Leona insisted on Kazan, and upon arrival, immediately pointed towards the old Simbirsky manor, now turned into an art gallery. She was also hugely fascinated with cubes and would always try to press one at it's side. While it was weird to everyone around, what was far, faaar weirder were the physical abilities of the child. When she was merely eight years old, she could easily lift massive bags of potatoes and help out her father, a truck driver, in his job. Leona was once hit by a brick falling from high atop a construction site, and despite neither wearing a helmet nor any protection gear, she was fine and walking only a few minutes later. What was even weirder was that, when angered, the girl would somehow gain even more strength and begin throwing things at everyone with just... her mind?
These two things were mysteries to Leona as she matured from a child to an adult, and they were struggles for her for most of her life. When reading history books and other works, she would instinctively search for anything related to the surname "Simbirsky", and the similarities she found were unsettling. Prince Simbirsky was born in Kazan - she unconsciously loved that city, and even moved there. He died in Volgograd - she was born there. The house he died in was the one she was born in. They were both sympathizers of socialism. The places and events important to him and his life were the ones she was for some reason drawn to. From Lenin's description of him in his works, she could gauge his personality and behavior, and it fit, too. The idea of reincarnation or some deeper connection did cross Leona's mind, but did not stay - after all, she was educated to be an atheist and not believe in spiritualist garbage - but it was there. Reincarnation or coincidence, Leona soon followed the path of Vladislav - reading into communist literature, growing fascinated with it and beginning a quest to change the country she lived in - mother Russia.
But yet another revelation arrived. Leona entered the University of Kazan to study physics, especially quantum physics, and she soon noticed a correlation between the weird powers that manifest in her once in a while and the concept of zero-point energy - the lowest possible energy of a quantum mechanical system. Her doubts were proven correct by a friend of hers - a genetics student, who asked Leona to donate a few cells (it's not as creepy as it sounds) for her scientific project. It didn't yield results, but instead she discovered that Leona's DNA was oddly fragmented and mutated, which somehow gave the woman an ability to draw energy from the universal vacuum, perhaps caused by the recent events with the Xanthean Box and whatnot. Leona was a mutant! She had superpowers! At that time, the concept of superheroes was slowly coming into fashion, but she did not take on the mantle of superheroing, and decided to save the world in a different way...
Upon finishing studies with great results, Leona, while at the same time beginning to work for a pharmaceutical company, joined the Communist Party of Russia and quickly leaped up in it's ranks. Most of the party was full of former Soviet politicians - ineffective, clinging onto the past and unpopular - thus the entrance of a charismatic and energetic youngling was a great boost to the organization's popularity. Leona Visarionova, the reincarnated Soviet revolutionary, became the youngest high-ranking Russian politician upon becoming the leader of the Communist Party at the mere age of 30. Most of the old guard was dismissed or lost their influence via clever manipulation and blackmail, and the woman surrounded herself with completely loyal, energetic young bloods, many of them metahumans or mutants just like her. Leona is already hugely popular among the Russian masses thanks to her demonic charisma, and her ambition sees no bounds. Restoring what was destroyed and creating what was never fulfilled. Who knows where the enigmatic General Secretary will strike first...
Powers/Abilities:
- Superhuman Condition: Leona is naturally a few times stronger, faster and more durable than a peak human athlete - a handy power for her to have in tough situations, anything from fighting an enemy brute to standing against a capitalist tank.
- Zero-Point Energy Manipulation: Leona has perfect mastery and control over the concept of zero-point energy, also referred to as vacuum energy - an odd quirk in modern quantum theory, it is the concept of the lowest possible energy of a quantum mechanical system. There's a practically infinite amount of energy residing within the universal vacuum (which is false, but only in real life), and Leona can freely draw from it for various kinds of attacks and utility uses. However, a much stronger application of the ZPE is the so-called Casimir Force - basically a force that works as an attractor between two neutral, chargeless objects. Remember the Half-Life Gravity Gun? Yeah, it's not gravity, but rather ZPE manipulation. Tracker beams and telekinesis, ahoy!
Weaknesses
- Non-combatant: Leona is not a fighter and does not wish to be one - she is a leader and a public figure. As such, she considers combat to be a last resort and a problem for her supporters and troops, not herself, to deal with, and thus lacks any serious combat training or experience aside for the combat her previous reincarnation had in World War I.
- Zero-Point Energy: While Leona has a theoretically infinite supply of energy to draw from, it's thinly spread out across the universal plane, thus any given patch of land has only a teeny tiny bit of energy to draw from. And since energy takes time to travel, gathering up enough for a fight from all over the universe takes a lot of precious, precious time. As such, Leona prefers to charge up beforehand, but it doesn't help if she a) is ambushed b) underestimated her opponent in preparation.
- Unyielding: Sometimes it's smarter to surrender one day to a opponent so you could get back at them in a better situation, but Leona has long since dismissed this idea. She is tenacious and unyielding beyond belief, and while it's a bonus sometimes, it does tend to get her in problems, especially if the opponent she is facing against is much stronger.
Equipment: Not much - a normal steel sword, no schticks or tricks about it, that is used for close quarters combat, the clothes you see in the picture and her determination. Aight.Likes: Speaking in public, grand strategy games, dominance over a person or a nation, or whatever, ensuring equality for all, reading "Das Kapital" and Lenin's complete works on her free time, borsch
Dislikes: Political opponents, capitalism, inequality, revisionist socialists, fascists, Reddit
Theme Song: Stalingrad
Additional information: Now, I know that some people in this RP aren't big fans of me being here and trying to rejoin, so I will make a list of reasons why you should accept me. Here we go:
- I swear that I will stop being a dick in IRC chat. It was only that one time and you banned me for days!
- I will try, and emphasis on try, to avoid overpowering my characters. To be honest, I wasn't even the main offender in Beyond, but whatever.
- I will not wank Lithuania. Lithuania is too good for this.
- I will make Venture of Heroes Abridged.
- Oh hey, Esty, when did you get here?
- I will still write in first person, though. Postmodernism is a bitch.
RP Sample: Gimme a second to try and find a post that can impress Esty
Just a quick reminder - I am not a communist nor a tankie. In fact, it would be tough to find a person that hates the Soviet Union more than I do - I hate them so much they're amusing to me. And if something's amusing to me - I'll overdo it to the point of meaninglessness. Just a heads-up.
If you have any questions about our lovely Comrade Leona, I can answer them here.

- Enhancement of self: Due to his control over his body, he can increase his eyesight to beyond normal levels, or any of his other senses. He can also manipulate his body activating adrenal glands or the like. He can also increase his body’s speed or reflexes, or other similar things.
- Body supremacy: He has near total control of his body and it’s functions. He can manipulate his body, to change his appearance, be it eye color, hair color or skin tone he can do it. He can also change how he looks to a varying degree. He can also determine what types of pheromones his body releases. His body can also endure and suffer more stress than a normal person would be able to, this aids his body in being able to survive the enhancements he does. Without needing enhancements he can utilize all of his body’s physical strength. He also has adaptive muscle memory letting him imitate nearly any physical move nearly perfectly after experiencing or seeing it.
- Enhancement of others: He can give people who do not have any sort of enhanced attribute a temporary boost. He can also say, shut of a person’s sense of touch or something similar, though that is much more time and energy consuming to do, depending upon the degree of manipulation.
- The body has limits: While he can boost his own strength and other attributes to near maximum, he can still be overpowered or outclassed by those who possess attributes that are behind the maximum that a human can have. There is also a time limit for the enhancements. The Enhancements to his senses can cause problems. Should he enhance his hearing, loud noises can disorient him or even damage or burst his eardrums, same with enhancing any of his senses, or that of others. He also can’t make the body do anything that isn’t possible, while he can give himself infrared vision, True x-ray vision would be a no go (humans are capable of a limited version though), he could let himself breath underwater, but not go without air.
- Tactile Contact: Both Touch and some level of concentration are required to alter another’s body, or to give them enhancements. He must make contact with the area he intends to affect, the greater the change the more contact and concentration is needed. He must als know what he is doing, what muscles or nerves he is affecting.
- I Don’t think the body is supposed to do that:As the name suggests, If he does something using his powers to himself or others, there will be repercussions. Such as, over using his strength will result in muscle strain or even failure, that will take a while to repair, if he is even capable of that currently. If he causes himself to be double jointed, afterwards those joints will be stiff or painful.
Likes: Biology, experiments, helping people, winning.
Dislikes: idiots, foolish doctors, those who justify inhumane treatment, by saying it will progress science.

Appearance: normally
Personality: Kind, give others a helping hand, knowledgeable, slightly reckless on occasion.
Biography: He got his powers from the Xantheian Box like so many. However in the beginning when he knew so little, his powers werent exactly apparent. His powers unlike so many others required him to know how what he changes is supposed to work, and not being able to simply will something to happen with no knowledge of how it works. Although he did not know he had there powers, he knew he was capable of strength far more powerful than most body builders let alone normal humans. it happened during a football game, He had been rushed by this massive Linebacker they called Tank, Ty panicked, he just pushed, hoping to lessen the damage done to him if at all.
The result was unexpected to say the least, Tank was launched away clear across the field and smashed with a sickening thud against the Goalpost. The teen was almost killed but was luckily able to survive. After this and a few other incidents he became determined to control his power and find out what it was. He discovered what it was during his graduation for Medical schol which happened to coincide with the Xantheian invasion. Someone bumped into him and his heightened senses at the time due to adrenaline let him realize that he could feel the body and change it. He was a sculptor and the body was his lump of clay.
Sine then he has established himself as a hero, though being a hero doesn't pay very well sometimes. It is for this reason he created the Alias 'The Doctor", a physical therapist of sorts that helped individuals recover from normally debilitating injuries and the like, as long as they pay him he will help, within reason though, he does have morals and a conscience. He was in NYC recently visiting an associate in the 5 Families whose son was made into a paraplegic through a fight. He keeps his hero and Doctor persona's seperate.

- Enhanced Swordsmanship: Simply put, sword skills comparable to the best swordsman in the world.
- Good Immunity: Complete immunity to any power considered to be devoid of any evil or not neutral.
- Evil Empowerment: She feeds off the evil energy of others making her stronger. Besides gaining increased speed, strength, endurance and regeneration, once empowered by this she gains the abilities to use her swordsmanship on a supernatural level by cutting energy and firing slashes of negative energy through her sword which can be compared to a Getsuga Tenshou from Bleach I suppose.
- Still human: Simply put if it can hurt a human it can hurt her. Her Evil Empowerment will remove this weakness though.
- No energy from the good: Her Evil Empowerment has no effect on those without evil intentions.
- Malleable personality: Her extreme naivete and her evil side both leave her very susceptible to the influences of others allowing easy manipulation of her.
Likes: Everything besides evil deeds in her normal state, and the exact reverse when influenced by her Evil Empowerment.
Dislikes: All evil deeds, regardless how minor, and the exact reverse when influenced by her Evil Empowerment.

Most powers aren't good or evil, good immunity makes her immune to powers specifically good like "divine ...". For example the greatest person in the world for some reason has fire powers, she's not immune to that fire because the fire isn't good or evil, it's just fire. Then the worst, most evil person in the world for some reason has holy fire, that won't burn her.
That's roughly what good immunity is.
Edit: I didn't know what else should be in the bio, so I kept it simple to avoid needless rambling.

Ah okay Sili, that makes sense. And don't worry about the bio, was more of a friendly concern than a Co-OP criticism. Accepted

Just spit balling, but would they be immune to say Virtue manipulation, because virtues are considered inherently good, usually?

Eh 22 is kind of old for the team so if you could change his age that would be helpful. A medic would be an interesting fit.
