Personality: John Duffy was once a loyal husband and father, but that was long ago. Now, he was the Charisma of a turd. As with other adults, all he wants is to eat. However, when compared to most adults, John does exhibit signs of intelligent thought, beyond the most basic level, even speak single words.
Biography: Before the sickness John Duffy was a fairly well known author based in London, England. For a short time, he worked as a writer for several small BBC shows before he moved on to YA fiction. His style was often Dystopian, including his most popular series, which managed to sell millions of copies. Because of this, he managed to afford a comfortable life for his wife and two sons in London. This unfortunately didn't last, as soon enough the sickness was upon them.

John's wife and youngest son died in the early days of the outbreak, leaving to care for his eldest. Hearing of an evacuation site at a hospital in North London. He managed to cross the city, reaching the hospital, hoping to be taken out of the city. Unfortunately, what soldiers remained were unable to keep order among the slowly dying adults. John did what he could to protect his son, but no one was safe from the disease, and soon he too had fallen ill. It wasn't long before he could devour his own son.
