With very different history for everyone it's doubtful if he would have inherited those lands.

I have claimed the "corner" of Brazil, Ivory Coast to Benin, the Lower Antilles, Colombia and Panama.
I am trying to look up the pope who divided South America and said "K, Spain gets Central America, and Portugal gets Brazil".

Panama is already taken, and I honestly doubt you could hold Colombia with Venice right next door. I also hope you cut your tech level down.

I don't think that happened in this history.

Looking at the map it seems the Inca and Milan has conflicting claims in South America.

The French have Benin, if I'm not mistaken.

In the HRE 's current AH, the throne of the HRE was directly inheirted by Ferdinand I, who led the Imperial Forces in the civil war that started after the Empire lost Hansa and Northern Italy, eventually winning, calling for the Reichsreform/Renovatio Imperii in 1540.

Well, I'm looking at the map that's on the front page/OP.

Panama and everything south of the Aztecs and west of Venetian Venezuela is clear.

I LITERALLY just said that I only put accepted nations on the map. Latin Empire is a WIP, and the Inca app just needs a tiny territory that overlaps tweaked.

Alright, they can be your colonies there. You can have a strip of coast in South America, provided it's not uber ridiculous.

I'm trying to come up with a dynastic claim to a HRE principality or duchy. Any advice as to which one? I'll need some sort of nebulous proof for my claims, but its just aggression really.
